Collin and Kevin go way back, all the way to 2009 at Anime Central where Kevin and Star (aka Avatar Mom) hosted the Avatar Legacy Fan panel. It’s been 11 years and both a lot and little has changed as we discuss the evolution of the fandom, how Kevin was involved with Avatar and Korra, and some behind the scenes on how the puppetbenders were made. The Civil Wars continue and so does our discussion! This week, Collin, Susan, and Kevin dive into episode 4 of Book 2 of Korra and explore the mounting tension between the Northern and Southern Water Tribes as well as diving into some discussion about Aang as a father and the vastly different experiences Kya, Bumi, and Tenzin seemingly had.
We’re back with more Legend of Korra discussion as Collin and Daniel dive into Episode 3 from Book 2, Civil Wars, Part 1. Tensions rise in the Southern Water Tribe after the North invades as Varrick sounds the drums of war and Korra attempts to keep the peace. This week, we continue our discussion with Book 2 of Legend of Korra as Collin and Kristen dive into Episode 2, The Southern Lights. Unalaq leads Korra and her friends to the South Pole where he has tasked her with opening the spirit portal to help calm the spirits, end the Everstorm, and bring back the Southern Lights! Collin and Fran continue their discussion on The Search, this week, with Part 2! This deep dive looks into the many threads that this part of the graphic novel connects to the original series. Filled with flashbacks, Part 2, shows just how tragic Ursa’s life in the palace really was and the sad circumstances of Azula’s upbringing. As Azula’s madness takes a turn for the worse the Gaang discovers mysterious figures and even more mysterious spirits in the Forgetful Valley.
This week, Fran from A Healthy Dose of Fran returns to join Collin to discuss the second Avatar graphic novel, The Search! We start off with Part 1 as we discover that Zuko has found information on the whereabouts of his mother, looking to answer one of the biggest mysteries left over from the original series, but the knowledge comes at a price. Tensions rise as Azula joins the group as they embark to an island that has more to it than meets the eye.

Naga bear slaps an equalist. This is also low-key an Asami and Lin appreciation episode, as Collin and Kristen dive into how this episode was a turning point for both of their characters.

We see a teenage Kyoshi bullied as she attempts to bring a precious parcel back to the estate of the Avatar. A compound created by Jianzhu for...Avatar Yun.
