Feel dejected, lonely and unwanted we turned to our Twitch chat audience on https://www.twitch.tv/retrohitch
begged them for anything to talk about. We then ignored them and ranted about movies, games and everything else before ending it. It was great! If you don't believe me just have a listen, it's why you are here after all!
Sads to Kola who was ill, hope you feel better for the next one.

Tonight the guys talk about those consoles you may never even have heard about or possibly saw one in a magazine back in 1995 on import from Japan but knew you were never going to grab one!
We look at the ones that failed hard, had a max of 25 games and maybe even didn't to sell at all.
Rare. Oddities. Extremes. If its not normal we probably talk about it tonight.
We also quickly cover the KFConsole and Bud Light 6 projector Console for laughs, smells and a cold beer!

Shhh.... Nobody is really here!
Stealth games. Love 'em or loathe 'em they are certainly a big genre these days. We step back to 1979 and talk about the stealth genre inception, progression and end up with a fantasy game dev section of the stealth game we want to see today.
Join us as we discuss the highs and lows of the games and the genre itself, from the early days to the heady early 2000's and beyond.
Do you like stealth games? Do you hate them!? Drop us a line either on my Twitter @Hi7cht or when we are live on https://www.twitch.tv/hi7ch
WorldofMrGrey, MrKola, PixelsatDawnGaming and Hitch talk Skies of Arcadia.
Taking the glasses off we look back at what many call perfection, some call underrated and others call "what now?". Released on the SEGA Dreamcast and later on the Nintendo GameCube we chat about the game, story, mechanics and more and debate if the game was a true classic back then and how it holds up today. The game was played for a couple of weeks by Kola and Pixels whilst Hitch and Grey have finished it more than once over the years so we get both sides of the coin on this one.
Can it stand up? Did it stand up then? Have a listen and see if you agree with us!
Catch us live on Sundays via: https://www.twitch.tv/hi7ch
Does anyone not know Lemmings? Possibly one of the best know series of games, some good, some OK, some simply awful.
Join myself, Pixels and Grey as we talk dirty and throw some small cute animals off a cliff whilst rating the versions we have been playing this past two weeks. Listen to Hitch as he desperatley explains why nobody should ever play 3D Lemmings.
Do the games hold up? Could they be better? Hope you enjoy another episode of Taking The Glasses Off.
Today we take the glasses off and look back at yet another classic series in gaming History, Grand Theft Auto.
For over a week we played two of the classics. In 2D we played the only GTA game to be set in the future, GTA 2 the topdown 2nd game and in 3D we went back and looked at GTA: Vice City, the all time classic 80s feel Grand Theft Auto game.
We all played on different systems and give feedback based around how it played then and how it feels today.
Take a trip back in time and lay those retro goggles down and Take The Glasses Off, with Hitch, MrKola and PixelsAtDawnGaming.
Today we have a quick chat with our newest co-host, Ian aka PixelsAtDawnGaming. We find out what gaming systems he prefers, which he misses and what he likes to play and hate to play.
From games, to memories to music and movies. Lets dig in to the creative juices of a fellow THP host. Enjoy!
Today we are joined by a Fellow Mellow from Twitch, AlexIsPlaying, as we Take The Glasses Off to discuss Sonic The Hedgehog on Mega Drive and Genesis. Its playability then and now, gameplay elements, Design, Music and more and compare how it did then to how it does now.
Does it still stand out?
Would SEGA be where it is today without it?
How annoying is Tails!?
Join us as we talk about a true historic series in gaming. Agree and disagree with our findings.
Part one in a brand new series, Taking The Glasses Off.
Today we are joined by the new permanent host, PixelsAtDawnGaming as all four of us discuss the Amiga range of computers.
From the heady days of the A1000 and A500 up to the A1200 and its ultimate death at the hands of the dire CD32.
Have a listen, agree or disagree and then give us some feedback :)
Season 4 Episode 1 back in 2020! Still going strong.
In this episode we look at upcoming games and systems in 2020 that interest us and have the most potential for HYPE!
Some mainstream AAA games plus some funky selections on the Indie PC scene and the C64 scene. We talk some VR, the pointless Xbox and more.

Today was meant to be a look back on our personal 2019s and look forward to our 2020s but as usual we went off track and bitched about PC VR and how amazing Valve is :)
Listen to a personal fireside with Hitch, Grey and Kola. Upcoming projects. Past retro depressions and more. Feel sorry for Greys toothache, he soldiered on regardless and didn't rant about Shenmue 3! It's a record guys.
We are back for season 4 in March 2020 with even more mutterings, ramblings and the odd important information about all the Retro, Pop Culture and Modern.
It has been a short 10 years but we come to the end of a decade of gaming and a very turbulent one with changes in how games are delivered to us and with many of them incomplete or hidden behind DLC and Micro-transactions, Day one patches or simple never really completed. But was it is as bad as everyone says?
We chat about some of those changes, though we missed a few due to time rushing ahead like its 1984 so may need to do a second one!
What was the best system? What games were notable? What did we love and hate about the past ten years?
Myself, Grey and Kola join the chat and tell our views candidly.
The Dreamcast is in many eyes one of the pinnacles of home gaming. It was so advanced for its time that many even consider that part of SEGAs downfall. No matter your stance on why it failed and why it was last console SEGA would make before the new Megadrive/Genesis Mini there is little doubt that the wondrous white machine was and still is one of the best.
Tonight we talk about what made it so good. What launch titles it had and what made the system unique in software and peripherals. Enjoy the chat and feel free to throw us some feedback either via our Twitter or on the Live-Stream over on Twitch.
This Is the SEGA Dreamcast!
On The Hitching Post Podcast today we dumped the wonderful Grey and Kola on the roadside and picked up two starving Game Developers on the road to C64.
Join Hitch, Simon Jameson (@EvoluteGames) and Mike Richmond (@richmondmike) as we talk about developing games on the Commodore 64 and Amiga, re-live past glory and gaming and offer a small insight in to the lives of two great guys keeping our retro-gaming days alive.
There are a couple of audio issues here due to the horrors of live interviews over the Internet but all in all, one of my personal favourite podcasts of Season 3.
Mike is the developer behind Vegetables Deluxe which can be pre-ordered for the C64 here: https://doublesidedgames.com/shop/commodore/commodore-64/vegetables-deluxe/
Simon is the brains and developer behind the excellent Doc Cosmos and soon to be seen Doc Cosmos 2: https://shallan64.itch.io/
Tonight, three men discuss something calmly with no raised voi... Who am I kidding? It's Halo! We rave, rant and some of us get a little excited about a series of games that helped define a console, a generation and a genre of video game. Halo, you either love it or loathe it. We LOVE it!
Talking about the past, present and very near future where ALL the Halo games finally come to modern PC gaming to delight us with amazing mouse control and, hopefully, amazing game-play and fun. We cover most of the series with most of the gleeful joy coming from the Bungie entries but also excitement for what 343 can bring to the PC gaming table on Steam and the MS Store. We didn't cover the snubbing of Epic because good things speak for themselves!
As promised in the Podcast:
Mr Kolas Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/mrkola
Mr Greys YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqz3l1d0HxTqz-5VAU64Njw

Or listen live on: https://www.twitch.tv/hi7ch
The three amigos over at The Hitching Post have a chat about our PC and Home Computer gaming memories, the LAN parties, clubs and hardware that defined ourselves and generations of gamers out there today. We get some live input from the Twitch chat and you guys listening right now can Tweet us here: @THP_Podcast with any questions you have too!
The best games. Live games as a service. The best hardware. Cloud Gaming. VR Gaming and more. It's all here.
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, other times it send ya PokePuffs! Today we ask Kiefer some questions and get random input from the live Twitch chat. We also learn that old usernames are always bad! Enjoy the chat.
Bad audio issues on this at times. I do apologise, the issue is now fixed for future shows
The Hitching Post Podcast has gone three-some! Hitch, Dan and Kiefer (Kola) talk about all the things! Saturn love, mobile gaming, pop culture VR and Waffles on burgers! Come meet the new guy who is now a permanent placeholder in Hitch's Gallery of Lurve.
What is the future of Retrogaming? FPGA? Emulation? Google Stadia!? Hitch, Dan and Kola discuss with viewers on Twitch the possible outcomes and future of our favourite pastime. Is FPGA "real" or is it somewhere in-between? Come listen and get back us on @THP_Podcast (Twitter) or watch us live on https://www.twitch.tv/hi7ch
We are back! Season 3 is here.
Join myself, Hitch, and Dan with special guest @hayesmaker64 as we take a trip down Nostalgia Road and chat about our personal memories of the early 80s and onwards and our Micro Computer obsessions. The games, the machines, the love. Consoles even get a small mention :)
Tonight we talk about games in 2018 and upcoming titles in 2019 including all the Commodore 64 games. Of course this is Hitch and Dan so we soon start talking about EVERYTHING else! Movies, Music, Shenmue 3... And of course Hitch's issues with Cyberpunk 2077.
Hitch and Dan come together to discuss the past month. Dan has a new job and is looking into doing Art streams on Twitch! Hitch just had a C64C drop on his lap thanks to Edd from Ireland! Gotham has a good talking to and The Walking Dead gets spanked hard! Come join us.
Cosplaying the Invisible Man whilst talking Horror Games and Movies. WWII showed up and something about bombing Wales whilst Dan simply forgot everything he had ever learnt! Oh and candy, all the Halloween candy two guys can eat (for Hitch anyway).
Fireside time with Hitch and Dan chatting once again about the past month, upcoming games, movies including new ones based around... GAMES! And why you should kill all game companions.
Mini Classics or Android Boxes nobody wants? Like them or loathe them, the Mini Classic Console is here and only getting bigger, at least in popularity! Dan and myself discuss with my Twitch chat the upcoming Playstation Mini and what the future may have for us with other brands. Also, SEGA need to make a Mini Saturn for me!
Fireside chat with Hitch and Dan. Movies, Games, and more plus the inevitable disgust at IT. Also, is STD the greatest Star Trek ever? We didn't even ask!
Digital Vs Analogue in gaming, hardware, software and any other media that works. Is one better than the other? What are the pros and cons of both systems?
Fireside chat with Hitch and Dan as we talk about the past few weeks, what movies we have seen, what games we have played and life in general. Naturally we soon started about Alien and doing rude things to Crystal Skulls because, why wouldn't we!?
The SEGA Saturn. SEGA's greatest console or its biggest failure? We all have opinions but the three of us all adore SEGA's 32bit, 5th generation console. Its arcade ports, RPGs and more. Join us on a narrative for fanbois as we ponder its history and reflect back upon what may be the start of the downfall.
Fireside chat with Hitch and Dan as we talk about the things we have done in April 2018, games played, news that interests us and Dan's phone that listens to everything he says! Or does it? Come sit with us and have a chat.
Cartoons, Movies, TV Shows, Games, Music. All 80s. All amazing. Hitch, Dan and James chat about what they loved in the 80s. Do you agree? Listen and find out!
The story about a playing card company that not only saved a Video Game Industry from the crash of 1983 but went on to inspire millions of kids and grown-ups around the world and possibly gave us the most significant game console ever.
In 1982 gaming on Home Computers truly hit the European homes in the form of the Spectrum and C64, this was followed by gaming giants like the Amiga and morphed in to the PC with the likes of I.D. , Bullfrog, Apogee and many more. Hitch and Dan are joined by AmigaBill to discuss our golden computer gaming memories.
It started as the SNES CD and evolved in to perhaps the most revolutionary system in video game history. The Playstation, it's history and continued dominance in at least three gamers lives.
