Your 3 Eyes with Megan Sweet: Recent Episodes

Your 3 Eyes

Megan Sweet. I am a lifelong educator, mother, and spiritual seeker. I’m on a mission to bring more love and compassion into the world and into our education settings in particular.

On this podcast, we talk about ways that we can learn to see with our three eyes: Intellect, Insight, and Intuition, and how to integrate the insights we gain from all three lenses to live more balanced, empowered, and fulfilling lives. While we discuss all three lenses, we place special attention on how to develop our intuition. Our intuitions are valuable sources of information, yet many of us have lost touch with this precious resource. On this podcast we’ll explore how to connect back with our Intuitions, and how to use them in our everyday lives.

Danielle has been exploring the mind

body connection for over twenty years, both as a somatic therapist and yoga teacher, and

in her own personal journey.

She learned how to follow her Internal Guidance System during a

time of turmoil after leaving a spiritual community. Her world was

upside down

, and she was having panic attacks on top of lifelong

anxiety. Connecting to her inner compass in a very concrete and

reliable way and learning to trust herself again allowed her to

overcome debilitating anxiety, indecision, and self doubt. She loves supporting people with these issues so they can have less

stress and more confidence, joy, and clarity in all areas of their life.

Peggy is the creator of the PBS Yoga for the Rest of Us DVD series that includes nine different special programs. Peggy is also the founder of Gentle Stretch Yoga for seniors and others who need a gentle or modified approach to yoga.

Peggy has perfected an adaptable yoga program that is easy, effective, and enjoyable. Peggy’s unique approach to yoga has adults finding they have energy and flexibility they never dreamed possible at their age.

For fifty years, Peggy Cappy has been practicing and teaching yoga, meditation, and guided relaxation, helping others create greater comfort and ease in body, mind and spirit. Her studies have taken her to India, the source of yoga, to study with yoga and meditation masters.

Peggy’s desire to create the Peggy Cappy PBS Yoga for the Rest of Us DVD series https://peggycappy.com/product/yoga-for-all-of-us-book/ came from her interaction with a special group of elders that she has been teaching for decades. The average age of the group is over 80 and her oldest student is more than 100.

Because of the success of Peggy’s DVDs (her first video ranked #1 of all videos sold!), St. Martin’s Press asked her to write a book on yoga. Peggy’s book Yoga for All of Us was released April 18, 2006. In the book, each pose is described in detail with easy-to-follow instructions. Her book is a great reference for anyone who would like to extend their yoga practice beyond the material presented in the DVDs.

Peggy has created audio programs that teach meditation and breathing techniques. Peggy knows that people often need special help in learning how to relax. Peggy’s audio programs for relaxation are designed to take you to a place of comfort in 15 minutes of listening.

Most significant of Peggy’s skills and talents is her work as a medical hypnotherapist which she has practiced since 1992. She sees clients from around the world and helps those who find her through word of mouth since she does not advertise this specialty.

Through her studies and travels, Peggy has also developed a deep connection with India, more of which we will discuss today
