After returning from two weeks in the Okavango Delta of Botswana, Africa I had a fun experience in the airport that had a very valuable lesson.
Let me ask you this question, in negotiations who is the party that’s in control? The person that’s speaking or the one asking the questions?
Despite what a lot of people may think, the person who is talking is not the one that’s in control.
Last week while traveling through the airport in Botswana, I decided to take a chance and check out a new private lounge.
After walking in and simply sitting down, a few minutes later a kind lady came and asked if I belonged to the club.
After explaining that I did not and asking a few strategic questions, we found ourselves at a stale mate…
So what did I do? I engaged in some strategic, silence.
Silence is golden!
Tune in to today’s brief episode as I tell the story about how silence got me free access to the most exclusive airport lounge in Africa.

On this weeks episode of Journey To Legacy I have a fun story for you around when we went camping last weekend! We decided on a whim to hit the mountains, and one morning we all got around the camp fire and celebrated small wins and victories in life.
I had a cheap bottle of champagne with me that I brought along for no real specific reason, but when I woke up in the morning I decided that the purpose of this champagne was going to be for us to all celebrate a success or an accomplishment that we’ve recently achieved.
Specifically a SMALL win / accomplishment.
How often do you congratulate yourself or celebrate the small victories in your life?
This is something that’s very important to consciously do as we often times get lost in search of huge goals and hitting huge targets!
We forget about the day-to-day journey and the small wins and accomplishments that happen as we grow and develop towards the bigger goals and bigger targets.
When we take the time to acknowledge and celebrate the small things it allows us to go through life in a much more conscious state and actually live a happier more fulfilled life.
Stress, anxiety, depression and even burn out are much more prevalent in today’s day and age than they were in the past. This is due to a handful of things, but one of them is from not being present in the moment!
Listen in on today’s episode and please take note as I share this story with you as a reminder and as a challenge to you to consciously celebrate your self and the small victories that you are having in your life.

Nonverbal communication is often times more important than the actual words you are using.
A few months back I had a conversation in a video all about smiling in a sales call but this topic has recently come back up.
Today I will tell you the story and explain how forcing a smile onto your face will subconsciously change your sales abilities and affect the person on the other side of the call in a positive way in your favor.
Smiling is arguably the biggest sales hack I’ve ever found (other than asking questions…)
What do you think? How could this concept be improved?
Here’s a cool story around how I used my mind and manifestation to win Apple AirPods and how you can use the same tactics to get anything you want in life!
It all has to do with the simple fact of being willing to take small actions while you are manifesting things into existence.
Don’t be the person to just think and dream and visualize, you must be the person that is also willing to take the necessary actions to make things happen!
Even if it is just a small action, as easy as going to look for the very first parking spot… 🤔
Let me know your thoughts over on Instagram, @wayne_veldsman and SHARE THIS EPISODE WITH A FRIEND IN ORDER TO HELP THEM GROW AND SHOW THEM YOU CARE ABOUT THEM.
It’s been more than a year since the last episode that I published on Journey to Legacy and that’s simply because of a mindset problem I was dealing with.
I had not previously decided what I wanted the exact new format of the show to be or honestly I made it out in my mind that it needed to be something bigger than what I was capable of delivering to people, but because of a recent conversation with a friend I realized that simple stories around my life and around the journey that I’m going through is more than good enough for the podcast.
So moving forward the Journey to Legacy podcast will truly be a documentary of sorts around my life and my Journey to Legacy and then at the same time I will be sprinkling interviews throughout with entrepreneurs, thought leaders and change makers in this world so that they may share their stories and their Journey to Legacy as well.
My hope is that you all may learn from us and the problems that we’re facing and have overcome, and hopefully you will be able to navigate this world better because you don’t have to go through the same exact challenges and problems that we did.
Stay tuned. We’re just getting started 💪
I was recently listening to a podcast by Dean Graziosi on a life altering subject:
He stated that “the level of your problems equals the level of your success.” What is meant by this is that in your day to day if you’re just facing and overcoming small problems, than the successes in your life after you overcome these problems will be small also. But, if you face big problems, then your successes and accomplishments will also be big!
Listen to this short episode of Work Grind Hustle to hear me share a brief parable about how problems are absolutely necessary in live in order to be able to have successes and reach your goals.
What role do problems play in your life? Leave me a comment in the reviews below!

With the coronavirus pandemic getting worse and worse and more and more fear/worry starting to spread, it’s more important than ever for us to focus on the things we can control versus all the things we can’t control. Whether it comes to personal and immune system health, or when it comes to our businesses and financial health, we must focus on the things we can control (like washing our hands and not touching our faces) instead of the things we can’t (the stock marketing dropping, businesses closing, people being laid off.)
The keys to carrying on and not being afraid are: 1. Focus on what you can control; not what you can’t. 2. Stick to a routine: Focus simply on our day-to-day and on our lead indicators; this will ensure that we’re still playing for success and happiness in the long run and not just worrying about today. 3. Reallocate time, money, energy, attention, etc to minimize loss and negativity

(Watch the video version here: https://youtu.be/AUk3bCtYOwE ). In 2020, people are using the word "funnel" in reference to landing pages, email campaigns, advertisements, sales strategy, and everything in between! It's causing a lot of confusion for business owners and new marketers alike...
Since Russell Brunson founded his software company Clickfunnels, the term "marketing funnel" or "sales funnel" has become overly used, and somewhat confusing to many people.
So the question remains, what is a marketing funnel? What is a sales funnel? What is an advertising funnel? And are they all even the same thing?
In today's video, Wayne Veldsman walks you through the simple process of what the heck a funnel even is and how to utilize it to grow your business.
In this short video, Wayne will walk you through the overall concept and purpose of a "funnel" as well as give a tangible example and strategy that you can implement into your own business today.
So how does a "funnel" work? The whole purpose is to convert people from a stranger into a client (Cold to Customer)
The process (top of funnel to bottom): 1) Awareness (cold) - people who do not know you or have ever heard of you.
2) Consideration (warm) - people who have heard of you but don't know/like/trust you yet.
3) Interest (Hot) - people who know and trust you and are thinking about buying from you.
4) Conversion (Customer) - people who now know/like/trust you and thus buy from you.
The methods that you use to take people down the funnel journey is up to you, and those methods (advertisements, emails, landing pages, phone calls, etc.) are the individual parts that actually make up your funnel.
Watch the video above for an exact strategy and example that you can implement today.

Recently I joined a business growth coaching program to help me launch and develop a new product offering.
One part of this coaching program (arguably the most important part) is all about mindset. Everyone Monday, I tune into a session with a multi-million dollar coach to help rewire my thinking and help me become my ideal self.
Funny enough, after my coaching call I was reading “The Obstacle Is The Way” by Ryan Holiday, and almost as if it was meant to be, a chapter appearing in front of me that spoke to almost the exact same message.
On today’s episode of Work Grind Hustle, I talk about mindset and more specifically, perspective.
Today you’re going to hear the stories about what I learned in both my coaching call, as well as a story from The Obstacle Is The Way that teaches us essentially how George Clooney, became the world-famous actor that he is today.
Hint: It’s all about perspective.
Are you approaching situations selfishly, or are you approaching every situation to be in service to others? To solve their problems? To help them in any aspect that you can?
Tune in, enjoy, and get ready to take notes as the episode is packed with actionable steps that you can take yourself to rewire your mindset and start striving towards success.
If you have any takeaways or learn something, my one ask is that you please SHARE THIS WITH A FRIEND.
Help me to grow the podcast community so that I can continue my journey of working to serve & help billions of people all across the planet.

Visualization is something that can be extremely powerful when implemented correctly.
For the last few years, it has played a huge role in my life and I can directly attribute multiple successes to the power of visualization.
In today's episode of Work Grind Hustle, I share a little about what im currently working on and what role visualization plays in it.
If you've never heard of "The Secret" I highly recommend you check it out. This book (and now a movie on Netflix) goes deep into the idea of "If you put good out, you'll get good back in..." The Secret teaches us that through visualization and universal energies, you can manifest anything into your life.
If there's one takeaway or actionable item that everyone should take from today's episode, it's to take the time and create a simple image-based vision board.
How to make a vision board:
1) Head on over to Google or Pinterest, search for items, places, and situations that you want to have in your life
2) Put all of the images that you collect into one collage
3) Print and post this vision board on your desk or by your bed
4) Look at it every single day
By having a continuous reminder (this vision board) or what you want in life, the universe, and your subconscious will ultimately help to manifest these things into reality.
I hope you enjoy today's episode, and as always, please consider sharing this with a friend or college, and please remember to subscribe and leave a rating.

Wayne Veldsman
Earlier today (it’s Dec 31st when I’m writing this) I was thinking about New Years resolutions, and the problem with them...
Happy 2020 everybody! I hope this year and decade will be the best of your life ✊ with the new year, comes resolutions! Do you have any?
I was visiting my parents over the holidays and one night at dinner we started talking about resolutions.
After listening to everybody else’s ideas and thoughts on the subject, I came up with a resolution that I think is very attainable and one that everyone should adopt:
“Stop giving a f**k about what others think of me.”
On today’s episode of Work Grind Hustle, I talk about how to deal with others judgement and opinions, and how to focus on becoming your best self.
Listen in as I tell a story about how I’m continuing to overcome judgement and how I’ve outlined my 2020 New Years goal.
If you enjoy the episode and grow from it please share it through text or social media and help us to grow the movement.
Best, Wayne Veldsman
It’s the holiday season and there’s no better time of year to take a timeout from our crazy lives and truly be grateful for what we have, both physically and mentally. If you’re busy reading this that means you’re in at least the top 5% of the entire world population so be thankful!
In addition to gratitude, patience plays arguably the biggest role in overall success and happiness in our lives.
During today’s episode, I discuss a recent encounter that instead of frustrating and upsetting me, I decided to use as a learning opportunity to practice patience, gratitude and understanding, which ultimately led to me receiving a very pleasant surprise.
In this episode you’ll also hear me discuss a lesson I learned in Brendon Burchard’s book “High Performance Habits” which discussed the topic of Superiority and how it can be a detriment to overall success.
As always, if you enjoy today’s episode and get value from it please share it with a friend and help to grow the Hustle Community.

What is happiness? This is arguable my favorite and most interesting subject in life right now! Over the last week I’ve had multiple conversations with people ranging from 22 years old, to 67 years old all about happiness! The question in discussion, is how hard should you work day in and day out to try and achieve happiness, versus striving for happiness right now even if it means making less money and being “less successful.”
On today’s episode of Work Grind Hustle, Wayne Veldsman is telling two stories OF SHITTY SITUATIONS that recently happened in his digital marketing startup. Tune in to hear how positivity will always win, even in seemingly the darkest of situations. First, a key employee quit his business due to no fact other than he wants to start his own independent biz, and then the worst happens when a current business partner decides it’s time to go our separate directions, and “fires” me from the business we’ve been working together to grow over the past 2 years... We’d love to hear; what’re your thoughts on the matter?
On today’s episode of Work Grind Hustle, Wayne Veldsman is talking about a situation that him and his business partner Logan are going through with their current business model. The discussion of whether you should have all of your employees allowed to work remotely VS forcing them to work in an office is very interesting and both sides have their pros and cons. Listen up, because you might learn a thing or two that’ll affect your business model. At the end of day, who knows if there is a clear cut answer, but we love to hear your opinion and actually help us make the decision of what’s best for our companies next steps and overall growth.
So you want to be an overnight success, huh? Well on today’s episode of Work Grind Hustle, Wayne is taking us through three or four stories of some of the biggest and baddest “over night successes” of the 21st century. Through some simple strategies and tactics and honestly just grinding day in and day out, the path to becoming an overnight success can be a lot easier than you might think.
In today’s episode of Work Grind Hustle, Wayne is teaching us the easiest and quickest strategy to win online. Whether it’s social media, your website, or branding overall, this simple and quick strategy all starts with filming quick and easy videos. Follow the 3 simple steps outlined in this episode to skyrocket your marketing and explode your online presence.
Have you ever been on a flight and sat next to a random stranger, only to find out they have the same name as you, and actually the same mindset as well???
