Women By Example is a podcast that talks to women who are doing different and interesting things in their field of work - women who can inspire girls all over the world to take on careers, follow their passions, challenge the system and be role models.
Started by Amaara Bahanda, who saw girls not just in the U.K. where she was born and raised but also in India, where she visited family frequently; in Nigeria, through her parents work; and in other parts of the world during her extensive travels - the exposure to different parts of the world and some of the charity work she was involved in, highlighted to her the difference in the opportunities available to girls due to their socio-economic backgrounds. She wants to reach girls in different parts of the world and use the various personal stories that are to follow in these episodes to inspire them to do great things with their lives.
