Talent Stacking. It’s when you combine normal skills and become extraordinary.

The Piper Video Team is a perfect example of this ideology. Each of us, HP, AT, and Dan, bring an edge to our videos. It's when we combine our talents that magic sparks and over the last few months we have been experimenting with animation.

In this episode, HP discusses how we went about developing animation as a skill set, how we are applying it to client work, and how we think about the concept of Talent Stacking.

Our bet is that there are a few you constantly check up on. What do you receive from those brands? Is it comfort, energy, laughter, or do they give you inspiration to create?

Facebook, Shopify, Square, Twitter. Almost every massive technology company in the US over the last few weeks has unveiled a plan to maximize their work-from-home strategy and minimize the use of office space. During this period of high volatility and uncertainty to when we might all be able to return to our offices, these plans are huge signals to entrepreneurs and businesses that how we work is changing. We all have to adapt.

In this episode, Aaron discusses how he is wrestling with this question and how the Piper Team is responding. He discusses how he sees his role as the Piper Creative visionary during difficult days, the unique position Piper is in to be dynamic and agile right now, and why it is important that we find some way to interact face-to-face to brainstorm and create our personality-centered content.

Music is an important attribute of making a compelling video and it should be chosen for a specific purpose. Whether it be in a summer blockbuster or our content, we know the importance of selecting music and have developed a process to do so.

The Going Deep Summit 3 is being postponed

The severity of the situation presented by COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2 suggests that it is in everyone’s best interest to avoid these large social gatherings for the next two months.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in high-risk communities for which this is not a matter of dollars and cents, but a matter of life and death.

We will work with our speakers, venues, and partners to find a new date that can deliver on the programming we’ve developed.

If you need a refund for tickets, we will issue them.

However, our plan is to roll all ticket sales over to our new date once that has been determined.

In this episode, Aaron explains how Piper plans on funding the company in the future and why he does not necessarily think Piper will get funding through a “high growth, fast track model.” This does not mean that Piper will not consider partnering with other entities in the future, but their main goal is not primarily capital, but for businesses freedom and fluidity.
