After migrating its PeopleSoft Payroll application to OCI in May 2021, Albertsons was able to run its weekly payroll jobs 50% faster than when those jobs ran on premises. Albertsons chose Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) from Oracle Advanced Customer Services (ACS) to provide administration of the PeopleSoft Payroll applications, databases, Exadata Cloud Service, supporting infrastructure, and the OCI tenancy.
To secure the environment for Albertsons PeopleSoft Payroll application on OCI, the Oracle Managed Cloud Services team deployed 13 environments in five VCNs, using default deny policies to isolate and control user access.
