Take a look in the mirror and repeat after us, “I am a gosh dang Ferrari, and I will treat myself as such!” In this episode, we’re talking about how we all too often treat ourselves like a Dodge Dart when in fact we are Ferrari’s! Are you at the top of your priority list? Have you made it on your priority list at all today? Take this as a reminder to care for yourself like you would something precious to you. Among the importance of being the example of caring for ourselves, we of course also share ways to help your girls remember who they are. You wouldn’t fill a Ferrari with trash, let it get dinged up or keep putting off getting an oil change. You would make sure it was properly cared for. You are a gosh dang Ferrari. Remember to treat yourself as such.
03:00 What color would your Ferrari be?
06:00 Are you a Dodge Dart or are you a Ferrari?

Starting a business in general is no easy feat. Starting a business in the middle of a pandemic, that's just crazy. Throw in homeschooling two kids, navigating a cancer diagnosis & so many other little hurdles along the way & wow.
On this episode, we reflect on some of the things we've overcome to make it to the one year anniversary of our business & what that resilience means for year number two.
We also invite you to ask yourself a few reflection questions; whether you own a business or not, being able to measure growth is important for all of us.
-Who are you right now?
-Where have you been?
-Where are you going?
-Who do you need to bring in to support you in becoming a better version of yourself?
On the show today we have the honor & privelage of interviewing author, speaker & dear friend Stephanie Hendrick. Stephanie chats about falling into a 10 year career after college, where she & her husband built an amazing business together but ultimately, it wasn't what she wanted.
She made a choice to pivot into doing the thing she wanted to do all along which was be an author & a public speaker as she didn't want to showcase to her daughters that living a life unfulfilled was okay.
She launched her first book titled Meant For More in December of 2020 which means her girls were home with her during the writing process. Tune in to find out more about how Stephanie's pivot gave them permission to seek more!
