In this special episode of the Sacred Wild podcast, I'm joined by my dear friend, soul sister, and accountability buddy Martha Lucius. We dive deep into our 10-year journey of supporting each other through life's ups and downs, both personally and professionally. Martha and I met through a business program in 2014, but our connection quickly transcended the typical "accountability buddy" relationship. We explore the importance of having soul friends who see you, believe in you, and provide wise counsel, especially when embarking on creative endeavors or purpose-driven work.

Key Takeaways:

  • Having soul friends is crucial when pursuing purpose-driven work, as they provide support, encouragement, and honest feedback

  • A true soul friend connection goes beyond surface-level accountability – it's about being seen, heard, and supported on a deep level

  • Vulnerability and trust are key ingredients in a soul friend relationship

  • Soul friends can wear many hats – cheerleader, strategist, mentor, confidant – and help you navigate both the big picture and minute details of life and business

  • When seeking a soul friend or accountability buddy, look for someone who sees you the way you honestly need to be seen, not just the way you want to be seen

Soundbites:

  • "You need your people – the people who can believe in you when you don't believe in yourself."

  • "We want to be very real to the people that are around us. And if there's anything that came through, that's what attracted us – that soul track."

  • "This is actively living in the world the best version of what you want to be and being vulnerable enough to be that."

Hi everyone, welcome to another episode of the Sacred Wild Podcast! I'm thrilled to bring you today's guest, the wonderful Sanne Giesen. Sanne is a nature-based somatic coach, herbalist, and author who embodies the archetype of the modern wise woman. Our conversation was a beautiful exploration of reconnecting to ourselves and nature, tapping into the healing power of plants, and reclaiming ancient earth-based wisdom.

Sanne's journey into this work began with her own health struggles, which led her back to the restorative embrace of the natural world. She shared fascinating insights on how nature acts as a master regulator for our nervous systems, helping us find safety and wholeness. We explored practical ways to connect with nature, even in urban environments, the magic of herbal medicine as a path for healing and growth, and how aligning with natural rhythms can be a profound spiritual practice. Sanne's perspective is rooted in science, psychology, and embodied wisdom - a potent combination that I found deeply enriching.

Here are some of the key takeaways from our conversation:

  • Nature is the master regulator of our nervous systems, helping us feel safe, whole, and able to access a full range of human emotions and experiences

  • Reestablishing a loving relationship with nature is crucial not only for our own wellbeing, but for our ability to care for the earth and each other

  • Even in cities, we can attune to the nature that surrounds us - the plants pushing through cracks in the sidewalk, the migrating birds overhead, the phases of the moon

  • Herbal medicine is a powerful tool for healing and transformation, especially when we connect directly with the plants as our teachers and allies

  • Aligning with natural rhythms like the seasons and cycles of light/dark can be a profound spiritual practice that grounds us in something bigger than ourselves

Some of my favorite soundbites:

"I deeply feel that coming back to ourselves and coming back to nature are intertwined." (1:29)

"Nature helps us to feel calmer, feel less pain, feel more focused - it boosts our immune system." (6:00)

"We care for what we love. That's my core mission - to reestablish that sense of connection and love for nature." (22:31)

"We as humans are deeply spiritual beings. When we go outside and take time to slow down and connect with nature, spiritual experiences happen - every single time." (42:06)

Hey Wild Ones! In this deeply insightful episode, I had the pleasure of diving into the complex world of change, leadership, and authenticity with my dear friend and provocateur, Steve Hearsum. Fresh off the launch of his thought-provoking book, "No Silver Bullets," Steve shared his wisdom on the absurdity of searching for simple solutions to complex problems. Together, we explored the role of shame, shadow, and vulnerability in our lives as change-makers and the importance of embracing discomfort in service of genuine growth and transformation.

Throughout our conversation, Steve's authenticity shone through as he candidly shared his own struggles and revelations on his path to self-discovery. We discussed the power of holding space for contradictions, the courage to admit when we don't have all the answers, and the necessity of finding safe spaces for sense-making and reflexivity. Steve's insights serve as a potent reminder that true change begins with our willingness to confront our own shadows and sit with the discomfort that often precedes profound growth.

Key Takeaways:

  • Embracing the absurdity and complexity of life is essential for navigating change and leadership with authenticity and resilience.

  • True growth and transformation often require us to sit with discomfort and confront our own shadows and vulnerabilities.

  • Holding space for contradictions and admitting when we don't have all the answers are signs of genuine authenticity and courage.

  • Finding safe spaces for sense-making, critical reflection, and reflexivity is crucial for change-makers to process their experiences and continue growing.

  • Experimentation and a willingness to "throw some of the swamp back in" are key to deepening our insights and moving forward in our change-making efforts.

Soundbite:

"Unless you have some kind of appreciation or capacity to recognize and see in yourself and in others the total and utter absurdity of much of what it is we worry about, then you're probably going to be stuck." - Steve Hearsum

Hey there, wild ones! Krish here, and welcome back to another episode of The Sacred Wild Podcast. In our last episode, we dove into the fascinating world of Human Design and how it can help us understand our unique energy patterns and authentic selves. Today, we're exploring another powerful tool for self-discovery and optimal well-being: PH360.

In this episode, I share my personal journey with PH360, a cutting-edge health platform that uses epigenetics, anthropometry, and lifestyle data to create personalized health profiles. As someone who has struggled with food addiction and body image issues, I found PH360's insights into my "Diplomat" body type to be truly transformative. From learning about my natural energy conservation tendencies to discovering the best exercise timing for my chronobiology, PH360 has helped me embrace my unique physiology and make more informed choices for my health.

The Sacred Wild is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Key Takeaways:

  • PH360 offers a comprehensive, personalized approach to health by analyzing your epigenetics, anthropometry, and lifestyle data

  • There are six main health types in PH360, each with their own unique characteristics, needs, and optimal diet and lifestyle choices

  • As a "Diplomat" type, I learned that I thrive in nature, have a longer digestive system, and do best with intermittent fasting and a plant-rich diet

  • Chronobiology plays a significant role in optimizing exercise performance and overall well-being

  • Our physiology and neurotransmitters can influence our work dynamics and relationships, as seen in my experience working with a "Crusader" type colleague

  • There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health; PH360 helps you tailor your habits and choices to your unique biology

Soundbites:

  • "PH360 is a pretty cutting-edge health platform, founded by a guy called Matt Riemann in 2012. And it uses things like epigenetics, anthropometry, and also other lifestyle data to really help individuals kind of understand their unique health needs and really make informed decisions around diet, fitness, lifestyle."

  • "PH360 is still a map back to self. It's still a map back to our true self and who we truly are and how we're changing over time."

  • "There is no one-size-fits-all diet. So when you kind of hear that keto is the greatest thing or that low-carb is the greatest thing, or low-fat or whatever that is, there are different diets that will work differently for different health types."

Ever find yourself wide awake at 4:30 AM, your mind racing with all the things you need to do, decide, and handle? If you're nodding your head, you're not alone. In this episode, I share a recent experience of overwhelm and the aha moment that helped me find my way back to flow.

It all started with a conversation with my accountability buddy Martha, where we both recognized the telltale signs of having too much on our plates. That's when I remembered a powerful concept I learned years ago from coach Christine Kane - the idea of "open loops."

Join me as I dive into what open loops are, how they contribute to overwhelm, and the simple yet effective tool I used to create mental space and start moving forward again. Plus, I'll share an insight from Gay Hendricks that perfectly captures why closing loops is so essential for abundance in all areas of life.

Key Takeaways

  • Discover what open loops are and how they impact your mental state

  • Learn a simple tool for dumping open loops out of your head and creating clarity

  • Understand how making decisions can trick your mind into treating open loops as closed

  • See why having an accountability buddy is a game-changer for managing overwhelm

  • Get book and app recommendations for mastering productivity and flow

Sound Bites

  • "Open loops are really all of those ideas that you have, those conversations that you need to have, decisions that need to be made."

  • "Completing something, particularly if it has an emotional charge, is a remarkably powerful way to increase your abundance of love, money, health, and anything else that's important to you."

  • "If you have the chance to work with some kind of accountability buddy, it's a game changer."

Hey there wild ones!

In this episode, I wanted to share with you something that has been absolutely transformational for me in recent years - Human Design. This system, which draws upon astrology, the I-Ching, Kabbalah and the chakras, provides a map of your unique energy blueprint. I explain the basics of Human Design, including the five types, strategies and authorities, and how understanding your design can help you realign with your authentic self.

I share my own journey with Human Design, including how discovering my type (Manifesting Generator), profile (3/5), strategy (wait to respond) and authority (sacral) has reshaped my approach to life, work and relationships. While the Human Design rabbit hole can feel complex at first, I emphasize that the key is to experiment with the knowledge and see what resonates. By shedding our conditioning and expectations, we can return to our true nature and live more joyful, purposeful lives.

My aim with this episode is to give you a taste of the power of Human Design, and inspire you to begin your own experiments. I'd love to hear how it lands for you and what insights you uncover. Human Design is simply a tool to help you reclaim that inner knowing.

The Sacred Wild is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Key Takeaways:

  • Human Design offers a map of your unique energy blueprint, combining astrology, the I-Ching, Kabbalah and the chakras

  • The five Human Design types - Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector and Reflector - each have a specific aura, strategy and authority

  • The first work of Human Design is deconditioning - shedding the expectations and beliefs that keep us separate from our authentic nature

  • Understanding your type, strategy and authority can radically shift how you approach decision making, work and relationships

  • The key with Human Design is to experiment with the knowledge and see what resonates - it's about reclaiming your inner authority, not following a prescriptive path

In this episode, I explore the meaning behind the phrase 'Sacred Wild' and its significance in my life and work. I share my background as a spiritual seeker and activist, and how these experiences led me to launch the Sacred Wild Podcast. I discuss the concept of 'sacred' as the inherent divinity within all beings and the interconnectedness of life. • We all have an inherent sacredness, a divine spark within us, and are interconnected parts of a greater whole

  • The "wild" self is our authentic, unfettered self that gets conditioned and suppressed by society's expectations

Summary

In this episode, I discuss the nature of resistance and how it can be overcome by drawing lessons from nature. I share my personal struggles with resistance and the doubts and fears that arise when I'm starting a new creative endeavor. I emphasize that resistance is a natural part of the creative process and can be seen as a sign of moving in the right direction. I then present seven lessons from nature that have helped me overcome resistance, including ncluding awareness, relentlessness, taking small steps, flexibility, seeking support, embracing resistance, and finding the path of least resistance. I conclude by encouraging you the listener to reflect on the lessons they have learned from nature in overcoming their own resistance.

Takeaways

  • Resistance is a natural part of the creative process and often indicates that we are moving in the right direction.

  • Awareness of the nature of resistance helps us understand what we need to do and when to take action.

  • Being relentless and persistent, like the crashing waves of the sea, is key to overcoming resistance.

  • Taking small steps and gradually building strength, like baby shoots and animals, helps us gain confidence and momentum.

  • Staying flexible and making the most of what we have, like sunflowers tracking the sun, allows us to adapt and thrive.

  • Seeking support from others, like the interconnectedness of redwood trees, can provide encouragement and help us overcome resistance.

  • Embracing resistance as a means of growth, like butterflies breaking out of their chrysalis, strengthens us and helps us become more self-assured.

  • Finding the path of least resistance towards our goals allows us to move forward with less fear, doubt, and insecurity.

  • Recognizing when it's necessary to take a different route if the resistance persists can lead us to alternative paths towards our goals.

Our relationship with the land in modern life is complicated at best. Most of us live in concrete boxes separated from the 'more than human' world and we often see ourselves as owners rather stewards of the Earth. What happens when we have a relationship with land that spans generations however? https://www.elmorecourt.com (Elmore Court) has been in Anselm Guise's family for several hundred years and inheriting that kind of legacy can come weighted with expectations and traditions. However, as an ex-raver and dance festival promoter, Ans was always going to do something different. Ans is also a spiritual seeker and shamanic student, so when he decided to rewild a huge part of his ancestral estate, it wasn't without controversy. This is a story of bucking the modern narrative, reconnecting with the land in a deep way...and in doing so, coming home to our own true nature. In this episode we talk about: Ans' journey from partying hard in Ibiza through the Origin Festival to rewilding Elmore Reimagining what an ancient home can give to the wider world Why it's worth the effort to stop thinking and start feeling How being an ecologist and a raver at the same time can work How to reconnect with the land around you What we can learn from ancient beliefs and eternal wisdom How to make decisions from your heart and gut The importance of working with and listening to the land Looking forward with an open attitude towards change for the better Key Quotes"'Rewilding' is a relatively new term that means returning things to the wild.. to be feral again. A state of mind perhaps[...] it is a process. One where you allow nature to do its thing without us humans interfering... "[We have taken] A block of wild land with native hardy herbivores roaming freely without chemicals, fertilisers, worming tablets or anything else artificial to frustrate the magic. And it is magic. We have lost sight of what nature can do." About this week's guest:Anselm Guise is the current owner of Elmore Court Estate, one of England oldest family homes dating back to the mid 13th century. Rather than conforming to the status quo however he spent is early adult life travelling the world, organising raves and playing techno music. Through this is exposure to alternative culture and different ways of thinking he has brought a great deal of that to what he is doing at Elmore Court, which is a place for celebration and parties of course but also using the wisdom of others and his own experience to create an example of how an English Country Estate could be in the 21st century with strong values that include authentic sustainability, connection to nature, trusting natural processes and more. If you are like me, when you hear phrases like leadership, change management and team building, you think offices or other concrete boxes, not the forest. Yet, the pandemic has driven most of us out of offices...and into Nature. Nigel Berman founded the School of the Wild in Sussex originally as a way to help himself and others reconnect with nature. However, pretty soon he started taking companies and leaders into the woods and discovered that profound progress and transformation happens quite 'naturally'. In this episode we talk about how leadership is changing, and how Nature really is the best container for transformation, collaboration and relatedness in business. Nigel is very humble when he talks about his journey and the shift of focus. However, what is clear is that he is intensely curious and open to learning, which for me has been the key to his success. Imagine just how much better business would be if it was conducted in the forest! In this episode we talk about: How teams can reconnnect by just sitting around a fire Synthesising spirituality into modern life How to create a business that takes you to all the places you love to hang out Using a limited selection of senses to connect with nature How using nature as a container can facilitate change and development How connecting with nature together can lead to different paths and outcomes Remembering that it’s not all about US Connecting with your vulnerability - as a man About this week's guest:https://www.linkedin.com/in/nigelberman/?originalSubdomain=uk (Nigel Berman) founded https://www.schoolofthewild.com (School of the Wild) to combine a love of being in nature with experiences that bring teams and organisations together. How do you do take https://www.sila.earth (holistic heart-centred environmental action) AND https://www.sila.earth/dialoguing (collaborate with the planet)? So many activists are eco-warriors who burn out fighting the good fight. Equally many big business are embracing things like net-zero carbon emissions, but take a distinctly analytical and technological approach, meaning caring for the planet becomes just another thing for the to-do list. Either way, activism is often something we do TO the Earth. https://www.evolutioncoachingacademy.org (Lilith Flanagan) contends that there is another way - a way where we dialogue with the Earth to create collaborative cohabitation with the planet. Rooted in coaching, purpose and process work, Lilith works with activists and leaders to get the input of the Earth into what to do to serve the planet. This leads not only to a wider perspective, but also to all kinds of creativity and innovation in our activism. It also means that we are operating from heart as well as head. I love what Lilith is up-to in the world, so much so that we co-created a holistic activism programme together. Wise, compassionate and visionary, Lilith has played a huge role in my personal growth and I am delighted to have her share her wisdom with us. On this podcast, we talk about: Why so much activism is ineffective Seeing our selves as part of the ecosystem rather than separate from it increases the effectiveness of our action Doing so, also prevents burnout Techniques for diving into your own unique activist calling How dialoguing with the Earth and members of the natural world can open up avenues of actions that we may not have considered The benefits of taking a heart-centred approach to activism And so much more! About this week's guest:Lilith is the author of the Environmental Coaching methodology and founder of https://www.evolutioncoachingacademy.org/ (Evolution Coaching Academy).   Lilith integrated her ICF MCC credential with MSc Holistic Science, MBA and MA Economics in Banking and Finance. She worked in senior leadership roles with ING and FUJITSU (formerly ICL).  She coached individuals and teams in global organisations including IBM, Orange, Groupon, Coca-Cola, AVIVA, RWE as well as NGOs, schools and local communities.  She supported the coaching profession in ICF leadership roles in multiple countries and serves as an ICF Assessor. The 4 elements are the basics foundations upon which many earth-based spiritual traditions are based. Yet they form a framework and language for anyone to deepen their connection with nature. Sometimes Life really does conspire to bring someone into your life and that is exactly what it did for me with https://croneconfidence.com (Diana Frajman), my 'witchy sister' from British Columbia. Diana is the walking example of a https://croneconfidence.com/what-is-a-crone/ (Crone) - a vibrant Wise Woman, full of life, magic and healing. In a world obsessed with youth, Diana celebrates the wisdom and power that comes with age. Diana works as a https://croneconfidence.com/mentoring/ (mentor) and https://croneconfidence.com/intuitive-tarot-card-readings/ (intuitive guide) to post-menopausal women, who for the first time in their life, have the time, space and resources to follow their own heart. She teaches them how to find their power and share their wisdom. She also mentors younger women to be more self-accepting and self-loving. As a person, Diana is deceptive! She might look warm, caring and charming (and she is!), but she is also an absolute powerhouse - perceptive, sagacious and courageous. She regularly holds my feet to the fire...and I couldn't be more grateful to her if I tried. In this conversation, we talked about: Gaining the confidence to believe in yourself Putting yourself first again Getting past the social expectations of being female Journeying into the 'me first' stage of your life Recognising the signs when they stare you in the face Valuing and celebrating the Crone What the Crone can offer younger women Can mentoring be a valuable 360 degrees experience? Wisdom for women coming into their Cronedom

As both a leadership coach and intuitive guide, one of the questions I hear most from clients is "what is my life purpose?". However, it is one thing to know it, it is another thing to LIVE it. However, that is exactly what Transformational Teacher Aloise Surfleet-Middleton teaches people to do. Following a spiritual awakening in her late 20s, she built on a successful career to really listen to inner knowing, discover her true gifts and build a business that helps people build a live in alignment with their soul. One of Aloise's gifts is to take spiritual principles and make them extremely grounded, accessible and practical. In this episode, she gives us the low down on not only how to discover what your life purpose is, but to truly start to live it in the world. In this conversation, we particularly talk about: The reality of what a spiritual awakening is like Why everything in your life is preparing you for your purpose, even if you don't realise it! Why you need to focus on the what and forget the how How your mess is your message Why who you surround yourself with is crucial The three elements that make up your dharma How to take aligned action to activate your life purpose The role of karma and how to deal with negative blocks and restrictions You can find out more about Aloise and what she does at: Website - https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqblcwd1BybXVxRjlUUlVYVjJneExNdTJkemhpd3xBQ3Jtc0tsTTJkOXloVTZ4ZU5rd3hEb3JOTnpyeWZ2S3VKbHdWZ0hySGQtcXc4MVFHNEl4MlJKcDdZMTFOal9zdmwxM0l6eTFsaDlSNTN5U2owVk9vNnk2WW1FYlhfT0x3dUUxNzVOb2c3a1BhYTVqT1B0WWpuUQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Faloise.life (https://aloise.life) Akashic Record Readings - https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqblpRYU52cTY3QUpzOUZ3dXNkellGZEpBMzAxUXxBQ3Jtc0ttX3RZS2ZrRjZsdkd3eV94VTA2Q3diQ0hIdjllODdCMGJuNTl1UlBpZzRRcGd0STJIRzlOM3ktTzFETWQwRlNYYVF0cUU0M3pZbUwxTE5lSnExMG1mRkpEWXNLREdETi1GSld0bnBlSWxUcl9zeTcyWQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Faloise.life%2Fakashic-records%2F (https://aloise.life/akashic-records/) Youtube - https://youtube.com/c/TheDharmaLife (https://youtube.com/c/TheDharmaLife) Instagram - https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqa3hSUFZaLXZBVDFJRUswdHZTOHh6TGF6elI2UXxBQ3Jtc0tuV2U4MU1wRG9DcmNmbmlKUTBZaE5nWHBzNkJlUXFfUnVBSk1mVWNLM1g3X2tTbmNYWEtRa2VQNmIyM0pRcC1MdV9xTDVnTEpwc2N6TlZRVzFId1MzN1F2VlhPR3ZvZURrd0NFMVp0cno5QkZzb2dzbw&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Faloise.life%2F (https://www.instagram.com/aloise.life/)

https://www.instagram.com/man_of_tanith/ (Sam Gravestock aka 'Man of Tanith') online isn't a big teacher, author or guide. He is just a regular husband, father and Care Manager who happens to have a very deep connection, passion for and reverence of nature. Although started in childhood, Sam's connection with nature really deepened after a nervous breakdown. He found that nature played a huge role in his healing and has been his way of dealing with stress and staying resilient ever since. What I love about Sam is that he is a passionate advocate about the healing power of nature, yet there is nothing pretentious about him. He has a profound and deep connection with the Earth, and yet he is completely humble. For those of us who are just 'regular folks' there is a lot to learn from this very wise man. In this conversation, we talk about: Why a connection with nature makes Sam a better husband and father The role of nature in mental health recovery and well being The link between practical bushcraft, intuition and spirituality How nature has a healing effect on us on multiple levels Why "only the wilderness is pure truth" How to work with nature to reset and destress Why real bushcraft is more about a relationship with nature than conquering and surviving nature How to use your intuition to connect with the natural world The role of a rite of passage in personal growth How to deepen your relationship with nature Where to learn more about bushcraft and nature connection Sam's Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/man_of_tanith/

Intuition is a superpower that is common to everyone, not just the chosen few. Even the most analytical person will sometimes follow their gut feel while, for others, intuition is the gateway to a much bigger spiritual world. https://www.sarawiseman.com/ (Sara Wiseman) is an https://www.sarawiseman.com/books-730028.html (Author) and https://www.sarawiseman.com/training.html (Intuitive Teacher) in the latter space.  A near-death experience almost 20 years ago opened her up to the world of Spirit, guides and clairvoyance.  However, living what she calls a “very mundane life” means that she has an incredibly grounded and accessible approach to intuition. In this week’s episode we get into the nitty-gritty of how to work with and develop your intuition, what is going on in the world from an energetic perspective and how synchronicity can really mess with your head! Sara has a deceptively gentle and quiet presence which belies just how wise and insightful she is.  She is quick to laugh and I am always impressed with how she makes spirituality so accessible.  This was a really joyful conversation to be part of. In this conversation, we talked about: Why intuition and spirituality are relevant to “normal” people Why intuitive guidance can come from unexpected sources How to work with synchronicity What energy of the current situation of the world is all about How to take care of your energy and state of being in a rapidly changing world Why your life purpose may not be what you think it is What intuition really is and how to develop it A very simple technique to really tap into your intuition How to learn to trust your intuition

What rituals do you have in your life? Rituals are used by many cultures to define a sense of purpose, create transformation and to mark important times of transition. Yet, in western cultures, this is something we largely lack and we are definitely missing something for it. Increasingly though, many of us are feeling a deep calling back to the power of ritual and ceremony. In this week's episode, I have a deep and touching conversation with nature guide and ritual facilitator https://naturewisdom.life/rebecca-card/ (Rebecca Card) about the impact of the lack of ritual on our daily lives, our emotional well being and psyche. Rebecca is immensely soulful and thoughtful person who invites inquiry and reflection rather than giving advice. I felt profoundly moved at certain points in the conversation and Rebecca's quiet yet powerful presence really facilitates transformation. In this conversation, we talk about: The current political situation and how this stems for a lack of deep inquiry and soul searching in society Nature as a guru and teacher The call and opportunities of the time of the pandemic The transformational power of self-generated ceremony...and why we are drawn to it How to bring the power of ritual into your day-to-day life What a Vision Quest is, and why you might want to do one How we have forgotten how to be in relationship with nature You can find out more about Rebecca and her work at https://naturewisdom.life (https://naturewisdom.life).

In the first ever episode of the Sacred Wild Podcast, I explore how to live with the cycles of nature by interviewing author and psychologist https://www.philipcarr-gomm.com/ (Philip Carr-Gomm). As a Druid and the former Chosen Chief of the https://druidry.org/ (Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids), Philip knows more than a few things about the Solstice, earth-based spirituality and the cycle of the seasons. In fact, he has spent over 50 years exploring Nature as a spiritual path and guiding others to do the same. In this episode we discuss our deep human need for nature, the relevance of ancient wisdom in the age of technology and how more and more people are exploring Druidry and other earth-based traditions. We finish off by talking about how anyone can get closer to nature, the significance of the Winter Solstice and how to make the most of this powerful time of year. You can find out more about Philip and his work at https://www.philipcarr-gomm.com (https://www.philipcarr-gomm.com).
