Dean Stanfield (@deanastanfield) and I talked all things Texas at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on Austin's very own 6th Street. He is a great comedian in Austin, and performs all over The Lone Star State. Dean is Texas as fuck. We talked everything from bull riding to shooting guns and he educated my yankee ass on what Texas is all about. If you're in the Austin area, checkout Dean's show Smokin' Barrels at Barrel's and Amps every Thursday night. Dean runs the show with the hilarious Spencer Cavins (@spencercavins) as well as a few other shows under Crooked Teeth Comedy. Checkout Dean's instagram for info about the show its more than worth it, and while you're at it give him a follow! This past summer Nic Crespo (@_nichead) and I hung out at his nest in the lower east side to talk about his digital comedy club: Couches Comedy Club (@couches_comedyclub). We spoke a few hours before Stormy Daniels graced his online stage, and got into how Nic came to create this digital place that gave a home to so many comics during the pandemic. Couches Comedy Club allowed tons of comics to convene online and fuck around when it seemed like the world was ending. Joe List, Judah Friedlander, Sean Patton and many others became regulars at Couches and many comics are grateful for what Nic created. Give it a listen and follow me on instagram @patbarrystandup!

Ryan Dee and I hung out at his carpentry studio in Sunset Park to talk about his most recent public stunt: "The Dookie". Ryan made a giant 4 foot by 4 foot sculpture of a smiling pile of shit, had it painted to look bronze and dropped it beneath the Wall St Bull statue in Manhattan's financial district. The stunt was featured in "The New York Post" and blew up on instagram. Listen to the end of the episode to hear a prologue recorded a full year before the heist was accomplished in which Ryan talks about the beginnings of an idea that would end up consuming him.

This episode has a special guest, and by special I mean imaginary. Guests? At a time like this? I'd far rather distance....socially. If you want to grow your brain and spirituality this episode is probably the final frontier for you.
