In this episode, I talk to Denise Zola who is an experienced dog trainer and behavior specialist who runs her own business, Everything Dog, in New Hampshire. In 2020 she began to leverage digital technology, including Zoom calls and Facebook groups, to increase her reach.
By joining Brandon Lucero's messaging course and working with Laura Neisner, Denise was able to successfully launch a webinar in October 2018, which had four registrations. Her latest webinar, held in October 2020, saw 2006 registrations and a 6% conversion rate, with 25 people purchasing the product.

"I’m learning to accept my shortcomings”
Before becoming an artist, Debbie Viola ran a nine-attorney law firm in New York City for 23 years. She quit on September 11, 2001 after witnessing the terrorist attack from her office window.
Debbie began painting as a hobby, after creating a beautiful wall finish in her house. she fell in love with decorative painting and art. she had no business plan when she quit; all she knew was she didn't want to work for anyone but herself ever again. So was determined to somehow help support her family through her newfound passion of decorative painting. And she has!! Winner of many regional awards for her art, Debbie has been recognized as a Woman of Distinction.
She has taught thousands of locals how to paint over the years. At the age of 61, Debbie wanted to get down off of ladders, and scale her art business. She earned about the membership model and committed to a launch date at Tribe Live in Toronto after plucking up the courage to speak before the audience to share her story. “I didn't do anything the right way; all I did was what "felt" right for me” – “Going Live on my Facebook page while I talked about art and painted. I was convinced no one would sign up, so I was in shock”.

"Have a goal, make sure it’s clear and then go after it”
ALoN, founder and CEO of 90x, arrived in America without any business leads connections. He had no university network or promising internships. ALoN didn’t even have a solid business idea. But he did have ambition. He had drive. He had the dream to make something of his life.
So, while going to school full-time, ALoN decided to get a job working construction for $5.25 per hour. Yet he knew that just getting a degree wasn’t enough, so instead of waking up each day complaining of his situation, ALoN decided he needed to set a goal to keep him focused on his dreams.

Lisa Breitenfeldt is the President and CEO of Cache Advance. Her geocaching name is Lookout Lisa. Lisa has been geocaching since 2002, with over 200 hides and now over 11K finds. She is past president (2 years) of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Washington State Geocaching Association (WSGA).
Lisa created and designed Dr. B's Cache Repair Kits in 2005 as a fun project to fill up her spare time (when she's not out caching!) and to help promote responsible caching. This launched Cache Advance and she's never looked back.
In 2015 the Cache Crates, a monthly subscription box for geocaching, was launched. Applying what she's learned at Tribe and Connect, Lisa did a relaunch and closed the cart of the Cache Crates in October 2019. This brought in 83 new members, bringing us to over 300 members.

Danya grew up playing sports (mainly basketball) and being active is important to
her, if you took that away from her, she wouldn't know what I would do.
She's a High Performance Athletic Therapist & Strength and Conditioning Specialist
(CSCS) turned online coach, taking what she does in person to the online space to
help more people.
She spent the last 4 years in high performance traveling around the world treating and
training Olympic, Paralympic and development athletes (some teams include Swimming Canada, Triathlon Canada, Diving, Rugby and a few others).
This is cool though, she helped the first ever female make ERT (aka SWAT in the US but it’s what its called in Canada), amongst other first responders, fire police and military to
make teams and perform at their best!
She also got the opportunity to speak on stage at Tribe Live in front of over 1000 people, leading “health is wealth” and how simple movements make a big impact on their success as entrepreneurs.
Fun fact about Danya, she got a giant dog named Tabata, loves cheap milk chocolate, lifting, and you’ll always see her with a cup of red rose tea with milk.

With over 14 years of online business, branding and web design experience, a degree in marketing, and an extensive entrepreneurial history, she offer branding and design programs for early-stage entrepreneurs, and coaching for other designers who are ready to scale their business. You’ll find her working most weekdays, but weekends are reserved for family time.
