67th Show
Welcome back my regular listeners and if you’re new to the show, thanks for giving me a chance to entertain you, you are most welcome. In this show you will not find AI, Ads or clever gimmicks and Jingles and I’m more of a John Peel than a Smashy or Nicey Tony Blackburn type. What this means folks is you’ll get intro’s, a little information, and a record not talked all over. You will also get music not played thousands of times before elsewhere and some of it as new to me as to you, so we all share the joy. I am passionate about the music, but I am always willing to take requests for new ideas. Just keep the Band/Artist in the time bracket of 1960 – 1976 at the latest to keep in the spirit of the show. Well, I hope you enjoy this episode and if you do, please share my show to keep the music alive.

Hey folks, welcome to another edition of the Time Tunnel, Love Bubble of joy called The Good Man’s Radio Show. I have not been idle and have ploughed myself into creating new playlists and recording the show with the idea of getting at least one a Month out in the Internet ether for you all. I’m still getting used to the new equipment and being no sound engineer, this takes a lot of time lol sorry for any audio discrepancies. Still, it is an absolute pleasure to be recording again and I always have too much choice when setting a playlist (a terrible problem lol). I hope I get the balance right but I’m always open to suggestion and requests so feel free to have your say. Well, nothing else to say except, enjoy the show.

I’m still figuring the new stuff out and getting the balance is tricky, however, as it had been so long since I uploaded a new Podcast show, I decided to release this new one warts and all. 54th Show News:
Well, we meet again folks, here for another slice of joy I call The Good man’s Radio Show. Hope I find you all well and eager for a dose of the aural pleasure to come. Was thinking about the idea of having a feature band on the shows, is this an idea that would appeal? And if it appeals, who would we have? Just wanted to see if it was worth adding anything to the show. I was thinking a while back of doing ‘Guess the Intro’ as well, as I have used a different intro theme for every show I have done, and I thought it would be a bit of fun. Unfortunately, though, with today’s technology and Apps it’s all to easy to cheat so I guess it wouldn’t be worth it.
Once again, the show is the usual assortment of eclectic styles to keep it fresh. I do try not to focus on too much Rock/Ska/Soul/Pop etc the downside could be that a lot of what I play doesn’t attract everybody but hey you can’t please everybody all the time, and I hope it may make you want to check out variations of the theme in the spirit of discovery. Well, I hope you enjoy the show as much as I have doing it for you. Bee back for the next one real soon.

“A new show already?” you say, indeed it is, and one that will hopefully get you through the Christmas lock-down blues. I shall try to get another show ready for the New Year as well but as it’s the 50th show I wondered whether any of you wanted requests? I did a show like this a few years back and it was really good fun getting all the tracks together and listening to unknown music in some cases. Always good to push me out of my musical comfort zone and to check out your music.
There are a few tracks included for the loss of Spencer Davis and Johnny Nash in this episode as I was too late to include them in the last show. And of course, you have the usual assortment of musical wonderments to delight, amuse or just baffle lol. All that’s left to say then is, enjoy the show, hope you have some sort of festive cheer and we will meet again for the next trip….
Well, here we are again folks with another trip for you all. Had a few nice comments of late so thanks for that. I would do the show anyway but always nice to know it’s being listened to and appreciated. A bit of a sombre opening on the intro but don’t let that fool you, there’s still plenty to smile about with the eclectic tunage. Coming close to the 50th show now as well so if folks want to put forward any suggestions or requests, I am more than happy to accommodate. Just post any messages either on my Facebook Podcast page or send me a message via email folks and I’ll see what I can do. Anyway, enjoy the show while I work on the next one.
Welcome folks, here we are again for another trip through the musical time tunnel with The Good Man’s Radio Show Podcast. Plenty of eclectic tunes for your pleasure and most styles catered for (I hope lol). Once again, if you have any requests or suggestions please feel free to let me know and I shall endeavour to accommodate you. Oh, and if anyone knows what the mystery tune is please let me know as I cannot find any information using Shazam which is normally very reliable. Anyway, enjoy the show folks and I will be back with another real soon.
Well, here we are with another show during the ‘Rona’, all intended to make you smile with some cheery musical numbers for your pleasure.
An awful lot of effort goes into recording an episode as I’m sure you know, and I adore researching, pouring over notes, piling through tunes and internet pages to knock one together. The problem is I need to get the show ‘out there’ and grow the fan base to help make it a better show. As it’s run on a non-profit basis all expenditure falls on myself. Again, this is fine as my passion for doing it makes it worth the price. However, it would be very useful if I could get my fingers in a few pies to help with materials, tunes, bookings for events etc. So, if at all possible, could you please spread the word, share the show, and blow my horn for me lol. Thanks very much in advance and enjoy the show.

Hi folks and welcome to the 43rd Good Man’s Radio Show and website relaunch….Yes, you heard right, the website revamp, relaunch & new show all at once. Thanks to the wonderful efforts of my admin Mr T Sherrard I have a shiny new refreshed website for you to peruse and access the show. It's now redesigned in HTML instead of Flash so is accessible on mobile devices for more accessibility. Also, the player can be stopped and started without restarting the whole show, which was an issue in the previous player. Please come visit me at www.thegoodmansradioshow.co.uk and let us know what you think.
In other news, the new mic and sound card appear to be doing a better job on the recording front. I think there’s a better clarity to it, hope you think so too.
