In this episode, I talk about the acceptance and permission I was looking for in different phases of my life, and what lead to big leaps of faith for me. When I stopped looking for permission to prioritize my needs, I was happier and living my authentic life. Everything aligns much better. I embrace who I am and live in it. I am hot and healthy and I want to share how other women can feel this way, too. No more hiding. Life is too short to be invisible. Let the light shine on you! But, why was I hiding? Whet did I shut down my very healthy and clean, yet sexy OF account? In the case of my OnlyFans account, I caught a lot of grief from some friends and my daughters. They were the same kinds of bikini pictures I would post on Instagram and not get paid. Absolutely no explicit content. They are the same kind of photos you see in Sports Illustrated Swim or Cosmopolitan, for example. Women are embracing their hotness more and more as they get older, fitter, and healthier than ever before. I loved having my account because I was posting pictures that I wouldn't normally post on other platforms and getting paid, just like the models in Sports Illustrated and Cosmo or Maxim. So, what do you think about this 63-year-old bringing back her OF account?

In this episode , I sit down with Pizza Girl Founder and CEO, and Activist, Caroline D'Amore. On October 19, just days after the horrific massacre in Israel, Caroline D’Amore was feeling fired up. She’d just gotten off the phone with two different Jewish friends who called her crying and saying they’d lost friends because of their pro-Israel posts on social media. In a spur of the moment video she posted, she said: “I am a Malibu Italian with zero agenda. I have friends on both sides of this Middle East conflict and friends who are currently there giving me details. The one thing I can say is that I’m not highly educated on the long history. I’m doing my best to learn. But the undeniable facts are this: I am not seeing Israeli soldiers marching young girls through the streets, pulling them by their hair after they’ve just been raped. I’m not seeing Israeli soldiers spitting on the bodies of young women that they just killed. I am not seeing Jewish people ripping off the posters of baby hostages. I am not seeing groups of Jewish people marching in the streets, saying death to an entire community. So as somebody on the outside, I can tell you that is freaking terrifying and I am so scared… I can also tell you I was scared to send my daughter to school, and that wasn’t because of Jewish people.”Caroline went on to stick up for the Jewish community, saying, “If you’re one of these people ripping off posters and spewing hate, you need to take a really good look at yourself and ask yourself, why would you ever do that? Free the Palestinians does not mean torture Jewish people.”To her over 100,000 followers, Caroline wrote alongside her video, “I want both the Palestinian people and Israelis to find peace and safety immediately and I truly hope that happens but those spewing these hateful things at innocent people need serious mental help and I don’t know how you got to this point.”The support from the Jewish community came swiftly, with the post earning more than 102,000 likes and thousands of positive comments from Jews. Since Caroline posted that video, she’s received countless loving messages, posted more pro-Jewish videos and been invited to speak to family members of hostages and attend Jewish events, like galas and Shabbat dinners.“I never thought my post would matter,” she said. “Then seeing how much it mattered makes me feel like I have a responsibility to continue to speak out for all these people.”Caroline is an entrepreneur and a single mom to her 8-year-old daughter. She lives in Malibu, where she grew up helping her father run his pizza store. Seeing her father’s hard-working spirit, Caroline was inspired to start her own business, Pizza Girl, which sells organic, sugar-free, pizza sauce with the highest quality and healthiest ingredients. Caroline has done well for herself, getting into over 2,000 stores across the country and coming out with the Pizza Girl Pizza Grill, a portable countertop pizza grill.

Meeting Andy Sarkany today was a true honor. Andy dedicates his time to educating young people across the country about the Holocaust. As a young survivor, he is a valuable source of firsthand information, especially considering that many older survivors have unfortunately passed away. It is crucial that we seize the opportunity to learn from individuals like Andy who can still share their powerful stories with us.Endre (Andy) Sarkany was born in Budapest, Hungary on October 31, 1936. The building he lived in was located inside the Budapest ghetto which is where he remained during the Holocaust. The building housed a nursery/kindergarten on the ground floor. The school was affiliated with the Jewish Agency of Hungary and was led by Mr. Eugene Polnay. The building also housed on the top floor a dance, acrobat, and ballet studio. These facts were significant in Endre’s survival and that of at least 150 orphaned children. Endre’s father was taken to Mauthausen concentration camp in the spring of 1944, fortunately, he survived. After WWII, Hungary became a communist nation. Although Endre graduated high school in 1955, he was not accepted to university because he was deemed an undesirable element of society. This label was given to anyone who owned a business before the communists took over the country.Endre was fortunate to escape Hungary after the October 1956 uprising and was able to immigrate to the United States.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Tusculum College in Tennessee and his Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  Endre worked for both the McDonald Douglas Corporation and the IBM Corporation.Over the past 10 years, Endre has been speaking to students about his personal experiences during the Holocaust, living under the brutality of the Soviet regime in Hungary, and finding a home in the United States.Andy is married, has a daughter and son, and five grandchildren.

Join me today with the plastic surgeon responsible for my beautiful tummy tuck, Manhattan's Dr. Joshua Zuckerman. In today's episode, I'll be taking you through my transformative journey with a tummy tuck, joined by the skilled plastic surgeon who performed my abdominoplasty on November 3, 2022. It was a significant day for me, a blend of excitement and apprehension. My belly had always protruded slightly, a result of muscular structure rather than excess weight. Regardless of shedding pounds, it remained prominent. I accepted it for most of my life, perceiving it as an inherent part of my physique. I was fit and lean, and it wasn't a deterrent, to say the least! However, the reality was that it did bother me, especially in certain clothing, leading me to strategically conceal it. Surprisingly, I even won two world bikini shows with that bit of protrusion. I attempted to embrace this flaw rather than succumb to complete self-consciousness, yet deep down, it did affect me.Approaching 60 nearly three years ago, I noticed a change in my abdominal area. Despite not gaining weight, my discomfort in clothing escalated to the point where getting dressed became an ordeal. I started feeling disheartened about the body I had diligently maintained. In September 2022, after selling my fitness studio and effectively retiring, I finally had the opportunity to address something I'd long desired—eliminating the loose skin that had accumulated as I aged. That bigger belly roll turned out to be excess skin! After consulting around 10 surgeons and considering various suggestions, I chose Dr. Joshua Zuckerman, a seasoned Manhattan-based plastic surgeon known for numerous successful tummy tuck surgeries, a compassionate approach, an attentive team, and a fully equipped surgical center in his office. The rest, as they say, is history! My confidence in my body has never been higher. I hope my story can provide reassurance to anyone contemplating this surgery yet apprehensive about it. I, too, fretted about the resulting scar, but it's gradually fading, and the surgeon created a new, adorable belly button, leaving me with a sculpted appearance.Nonetheless, it's crucial to emphasize that a tummy tuck is not a weight loss solution. Before considering this procedure, ensure you're within 10-15 pounds of your ideal weight. Enjoy the show!

In this personal episode, I open up about intimate moments from my life, those hidden struggles I endured and wished to keep to myself. These were pivotal experiences that marked significant growth in my journey from being a single mom in my 40s to where I stand today. The path wasn't smooth; it demanded resilience to be acknowledged and heard. I had to stand firm in my truth, even when tears and fear of taking a leap of faith clouded my vision. Despite the challenges, I refused to let those around me diminish my spirit.Recognizing my worth, I began to find my voice and inner strength, pushing back against the urge to remain silent for the sake of harmony. Instead, I dedicated myself to self-improvement, nurturing my self-esteem and confidence. This transformation evolved through trust in my instincts, stepping away from people and situations that no longer aligned with my growth, and intentionally gravitating towards those who embraced and uplifted me.It was a time to shed the cloak of concealment, a moment to embrace fearlessness and embody my most authentic self.

In this episode, Jodi engages in a conversation with Natalie Holloway, the Co-Founder of Bala, who delves into the origins of their brand. The concept for Bala was born during a rather casual yoga session with her then-boyfriend, now-husband, Max. This lightbulb moment was captured on a napkin, which served as the initial blueprint. Subsequently, they transformed this vision into a tangible prototype, secured funding to bring it to market, garnered sales to validate their concept, and even made a compelling pitch on Shark Tank, all centered around their flagship product, the Bala Bangle – a versatile set of hand and ankle weights.Their pitch was convincing enough to secure investment from two of the Sharks. However, just two weeks after this exciting development, the world was thrown into a frenzy due to the global lockdown imposed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This unexpected turn of events led to a surge in demand for workout equipment as people sought ways to maintain their fitness routines at home. Bala, with its stylish and luxurious approach to fitness accessories, experienced a meteoric rise in popularity.Join us in this episode to listen to the remarkable journey of taking a simple idea, essentially an evolution of traditional ankle weights, and elevating them into beautiful, luxurious accessories that not only enhance workouts but are also a pleasure to wear and handle.Natalie is the cofounder of Bala, a Los Angeles-based movement company. Natalie – a certified yoga instructor – and her fellow cofounder / eventual husband shipped the first 75,000 units of their now infamous Bala Bangles from their garage before appearing on Shark Tank, where they secured an investment from Mark Cuban and Maria Sharapova. Bala has since been featured in the likes of Forbes, The New York Times, Esquire and was dubbed one of The 17 Items That Defined 2020 by Vogue. Prior to Bala, Natalie worked at’ best-in-class’ ‘advertising agencies on marquee brands including Starbucks, Google and Jeep. Natalie attended Fashion Institute of Technology before graduating from The University of Texas at Austin. Natalie is a mother to Watson & Uma and dog-mom to Penny and Naomi.

In this episode, I sit down with Heidi D'Amelio, best known as mom to Dixie and Charlie, two of the most popular names in social media today. We discuss it all from being a Mom and living their quiet lives in suburban Connecticut to just how Charli made one dance video on the fly as they rushed out of the house for dance lessons. Heidi describes how on their hour ride Charli was watching the views increase. By the time her class was over, it had gone viral, and little did they know how much their lives were about to change. Heidi talks about balancing motherhood, business, and fame, and why the mental health of her entire family is the number one priority, including her own. This is a wonderful episode on having it all and juggling it all and Heidi does a damn good job of it. She was incredibly open and sounded like a Mom who worries about her daughters the way we all do. About Heidi:Heidi D’Amelio, may be best known as mom to Dixie and Charli, two of the most popular names in social media today, but there is a lot more to juggling being a wife and mom than meets the eye. Heidi started her professional career as a model and fitness trainer but when she met her husband Marc in NYC, she knew her dream of always wanting to be a mom was the path she wanted to take. The couple married, moved to Connecticut, and started their family where, teaching her children about values, reputation and giving back to others became a central conversation for all 4 members even before the family skyrocketed to fame. Utilizing her love for dance and a decade of practice, Heidi’s youngest daughter Charli started posting dances on the popular app Tik Tok and literally overnight became the most followed name on the platform. The family soon joined in and currently have a combined following of over 300 million. Heidi’s dedication to being a present but not overbearing mom has grown her own following of over 10 million and growing. On top of being a full-time mom and overseeing her family’s demanding schedules, Heidi continues to pursue her passions which include health and wellness, fitness, and philanthropy. Balancing personal and work life and ensuring the internet is a safe place not only for her daughters but for other teens is always her main priority. Heidi recently competed on season 31 of Dancing with the Stars alongside pro, Artem Chigvintsev. You can also catch Heidi on the family’s docuseries The D’Amelio Show (on which she serves as an executive producer) the third season is coming to Hulu in the fall. Heidi has also made it a point to use her and her families’ platforms for good raising awareness and donations for Covid-19, childhood cancer causes and natural disasters such as the hurricanes in her hometown of Louisiana.Heidi resides with her family and their four dogs in Los Angeles, CA.

In this episode, Caroline Baudino shares her story of walking past a mirror one day, and actually stopping to take a look at the mess she was physically and mentally and not recognizing the woman in her reflection. She didn't see any light. She didn't see the life and brightness that was always her. She was letting life drag her every which way and feeling overwhelmed with small children, a husband and not making any money. Who was she looking at?? This woman needed to make some serious changes and get back to the woman she used to be x100!

And that she did. And just like that, she realized the power of getting dressed every single morning, moving her body, getting a dose sunshine and focusing on gratitude and abundance instead of focusing on scarcity. It was then that she began to slowly share her journey and connected with so many women who were feeling the exact same way.

When the pandemic hit, she encouraged women to do the same things she was doing even when we had no place to go. It was about a positive mindset and attitude. And across all her social platforms she shares her positive outlook and helps women, especially those going through midlife issues such as menopause that life's not so bad when you...

'Get Up. Get Dressed. Let's Do This!

Caroline Baudino is a mom of two boys, a wife and a lifestyle influencer with impeccable and edgy clothing, makeup and jewelry and a can-do attitude of choosing happy.  She is known for her “real talks” on her social media platforms where she shows us glimpses of her life, sharing an unfiltered view of being a mom, wife and just “Being Caroline,” as well as motivating others to be the best version of themselves.  This is where Caroline tells us that we need to Get Up. Get Dressed. Let’s Do This!

After having kids Caroline felt lost, lonely and overwhelmed. She realized feeling and looking like a mess made her act like a mess. That’s when she started her Instagram, Shop With Caroline. She posted her fashion forward outfits and how she styles everything from a soccer mom look to formal wear, but it was her message of looking and feeling good that resonated most with women. She is brutally honest when she shares her experiences, showing that everything isn’t perfect, and provides tips and inspiration on how she overcame life’s challenges, including motherhood, relationships, aging parents and menopause. Caroline's message will tug at your heartstrings as well as light a fire in your soul. Now Get Up. Get Dressed. Let’s Do This!??

This week Jodi talks with actress Elena Goode who stars in the highly anticipated HBO Max original series “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” from acclaimed executive producer / writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (“Riverdale” and “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), now streaming on HBO Max.

“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” begins twenty years ago, when a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago...as well as their own.

Born and raised in Harlem, NYC, bilingual speaker Goode’s first big break came at just 9 years old when she was discovered by a talent agent who ultimately booked her for a pizza commercial. Growing up with parents who were both philanthropic lawyers respectively, she was taught to save her money and that education was the most important thing she could give herself. She tested into the prestigious LaGuardia Arts High School and credits this experience as changing her life as it was a very socially aware and culturally diverse school. She attended FIT for college but missed acting and auditioning so decided to get back into it which is when she booked the soap opera “As The World Turns” – something that greatly impressed her Puerto Rican mother. She went on to film 192 episodes in 2 ½ years and was part of the first gay storyline on Soap television, playing a friend’s “beard” on the show (who naturally in Soap fashion turns out to also be her relative). She moved to Los Angeles and in 2015 booked the role of Nicole Young, Dr. Dre’s (Corey Hawkins) wife in the Academy Award-nominated film STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON. She additionally starred as ‘Ma’ in the HBO Latino original film ELLIOT LOVES about Latino culture and a young boy coming out.

In her free time, Goode is passionate about advocating for Ocean and Sea Life protection.

Being a yoga and meditation practitioner for over 20 years, Adam says, “there’s a transcendence that comes from being truly heard, seen, and validated by another human being. Being seen for who we really are, as a whole person, without judgment. There aren’t many opportunities for this magical connection in daily life, even though we’re surrounded by people who are also yearning for these things every day. So, I helped build a platform for making these connections possible whenever we need them.

Before HearMe, Adam’s first wellness venture began in 2016, when he founded Cuddlist with co-founder and consent expert Madelon Guinazzo. Cuddlist is an international cuddling service with over 3,000 trained cuddliest practitioners who have completed over 50,000 sessions. This episode is about reflecting on the lessons I've learned from my fearless 86 year old Mom. She always knew how to make an entrance, yet as my younger self, it made me cringe. Now as a 61 year old woman, I finally freaking get it!

Don't ever ask for permission because you only have this one damn life to be yourself, so have fun a screw the haters.

I was torn about doing this episode because my Mom passed away less than 48 hours ago. I'm mentally and physically exhausted because it has been a very long road for my Mom. In 2016, she suffered a devastating stoke leaving her paralyzed on her right side and 80% speech impaired. I always knew she was a fighter and a fearless son of a gun, but after her stroke, she took it to another level. At 80 years old and in a wheelchair, she re-invented herself and embraced her new life.

The day after Thanksgiving, we thought we were going to lose her. Two days later, she was in the care of hospice. She fought so damn hard against the pain until she didn't anymore and decided it was time to let go. For the first time in her life, she let go, but it was when she was ready. She fought hard for 32 days.

Are you a perfectionist? Do you struggle to do everything perfect? In this episode with my guest Margaret Robinson Rutherford, PHhD., we discuss her book, Perfectly Hidden Depression(PHD), a book that describes how the perfectionist easily hides their depression... most importantly.....to themselves. We also discuss the relationship between perfectionism and depression. Here are some characteristics of Perfectly Hidden Depression. If you experience it, you likely...

-Are highly perfectionistic and have constant, critical and shamming inner voice -Demonstrate a heightened or excessive sense of responsibility -Detach from painful emotions by staying in your head and actively shutting them off -May have an accompanying mental health issue, such as an eating disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder or addiction -Worry and need to control yourself and your environment

We discuss how so many do not recognize the signs of their own depression such as lack of energy and sadness. Other people notice but they do not and it's because they hide it for fear of how others would judge them. After all, everyone should think all is perfect in their world. Admitting depression would be admitting a flaw. And if you're a perfectionist, flaws are to be hidden.
