Tip #1: Try to Talk them in Spanish
I now this could be challenging, but it would have a great impact if you do it so they know that you know what you are talking about!
Tip #2: Try to talk the same way they do to you!
What I mean by this, is using the same volume, the same dialect, if they talk in a formal way, you do, if they coming saying qué bola Acere, you come saying the same!
Tip #3: if you need to talk to a local in the street. Try to be direct and not give them any details about it. If you give them ditails, they can feel involved in the conversation.
