@priteevarsani is one of the most genuine and humble souls you will ever know. She quite literally took time off during a recording shoot last year, to record this episode with us.
She is a British born Gujarati Folk Singer. Her journey is rather fascinating. Pritee’s musical journey began in India where she studied Indian folk music with the renowned Lalita Ghodadra. She has since matured into a creative and unique folk singer herself. Her debut album was released by T-series, and has since created numerous albums and music videos, which have proven extremely popular, not just in the UK but also in Gujarat. In 2016 Pritee was the lead vocalist in the first Gujarati song created in Britain, Rangeeli Raat which has been greatly received worldwide, Zat Zaiye a folk song with an extreme divergent from the standard Gujarati music feel, Ranjaniyu Reloaded, and just recently has released Dholida Dhol re vagad with the stereotype breaking Producer Parle Partel.

We chat to Simran Mathura,she is youthful,fun and kind young lady. She started her career in the make-up industry in 2015 when she was 17. Since then, she has worked hard to try and inspire everyone who looks at the Beauty Industry as a playful, creative, and accepting space. Her passion for special effects started in 2016 during her first year of her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. After graduating in 2018, Simran continued to pursue a qualification in beauty and skin care. In the course of her career, she has worked in retail, on television and film sets, photoshoots, and in theatre. Simran strives to create an inclusive space whereby anyone can feel comfortable and secure enough to express themselves freely, as well as change and stereotypes imposed on make-up artists and the Aesthetics and Beauty industry as a whole. Professor Anusuya Chinsamy-Turan is a paleobiologist based in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cape Town. Her research focuses on deciphering biological signals recorded in the bone microstructure of extinct vertebrates, as well as that of living forms.
