Students in the Program for Research on Youth Development and Engagement (PRYDE) at Cornell University talk with faculty, practitioners, and other students about research to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents.
Ep. 4 features a conversation between undergraduate PRYDE Scholars Isabella Lombardo and Jessica Lindenstraus and Dr. Wendy Wolfe, a Research Associate in Cornell’s Division of Nutritional Sciences. This episode was recorded pre-pandemic and focuses on the collaborative development of two interconnected nutrition programs, the Choose Health: Food, Fun, and Fitness (CHFFF) curriculum for children, and Choose Health Action Teens (CHAT), in which adolescents are trained to teach CHFFF. Wolfe discusses the Youth Healthy Eating and Active Living Project Work Team and other partnerships, including one with NYC 4-H that is now in its 5th year.
