fear not, beloved, for the battle is not yours, but God's. In Him, we find solace, strength, and the unfathomable power to overcome every challenge that dares to stand in our way. With hearts ablaze with gratitude, Jehoshaphat and his people return to the holy city of Jerusalem, where jubilation overtakes every street. The neighboring kingdoms tremble at the testimony of God's might, for they have witnessed His faithfulness and seen His hand move mightily on behalf of His chosen ones. Peace and tranquility reign throughout the land, as the divine favor rests upon Jehoshaphat's reign.

Genesis 1:1-5; 26-28 NLT
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
3 Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
4 And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light "day" and the darkness "night."
And evening passed, and morning came, marking the first day.

Take heart, my friend. Whatever burdens you carry, bring them before our loving God in prayer. Jesus Christ is our sanctuary, always ready to offer help to those who place their trust in Him. Remember to continually lift your voice in praise and gratitude to Him. Rest assured that there is joy and gladness awaiting us in His presence.
When it comes to encouraging others, let us remind them that God remains in control. His sovereignty reigns even in the midst of our pain and troubles. Through every experience, His love works within us, transforming, perfecting, and completing us.
In times of trials, we can find solace in the wisdom of James 1:2-4. Dear brothers and sisters, when challenges arise, consider them as opportunities for great joy. Embrace them, for they test our faith and allow our endurance to grow. As we allow endurance to mature within us, we will become whole and lacking in nothing.
Just as a blacksmith forges instruments with a hammer and intense heat, God uses trials to shape and strengthen our faith. In 1 Peter 1:6-7, we are reminded that even though we may experience grief through various trials, our faith, more precious than gold, is being refined and proven genuine. Ultimately, this will lead to praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Let us encourage one another with these words, knowing that God is with us through every trial, using them to mold us into vessels of faith, character, and resilience.
At Bethany Worship Center, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere, embracing the beautiful diversity of our Presence-led congregation. We are a community of believers who actively seek encounters with God, and our gatherings are intentionally designed to provide numerous opportunities for these divine encounters.
In recent times, we have been blessed with fresh revelations that bring clarity to the obscure. These revelations, received in the year 2020, have illuminated the person of Jesus Christ in ways we may have never seen or experienced before. They come to us as heavenly visitors, unveiling the Messiah and His purpose in our lives. Meanwhile, we faithfully engage in the areas to which He has called us, diligently serving and working.
As we embark on this journey, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of kings who bring treasure boxes filled with gifts. These gifts supply the provision needed to fulfill our 20/20 vision, ensuring that we walk in abundance and fulfillment. Prepare to embrace the fresh revelations that flow abundantly within our community.
Join us at Bethany Worship Center, where worship, community, and spiritual growth converge. Experience the transformative power of God in an environment dedicated to encountering His presence and uncovering deeper truths. Together, let us pursue the wonders that await us on this remarkable journey of faith.
Grace: The Power to Reign
Introduction:
A) For the last 8 years or so I’ve asked the Lord to show me what a N. T. mindset is and what it looks like. Better than that how do I live in it? I did not ask for information but for transformation.
· So this teaching (actually it’s a series of 4 messages) comes out of that seeking
I believe is the hang up of the church, is that they try to live a victorious N.T. life with an O.T mindset.
· See themselves as sinners and not saints.
· They may call themselves sons or daughter of God but their approach to God is that of a servant.
· The sonship teaching and Mary. I know God loves me and He’s my father.
· Given words sinners/saints and servants / sons
B) I’d like to bring a message on grace. Hopefully to expand your understanding of what Grace is and God’s intention of how you’re to live in it.
I’ve been in ministry and have pastor about 34 years.
I’ve watched believers struggle with issues of sin; anger, gambling, some type of sexual immorality, alcohol or drug use or abuse, the list goes on.
They battle with depression.
Premise: In Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension, He not only took on our sin and died but he gave us power over sin.
Yet how many believers do you know that struggle with some area of sin? Maybe you’re here today and you’re struggling with a sin issue.
If that you, regardless of the smiley face you may wear at church, you’re frustrated, your Christian experience is a series of high and lows, and struggle.
No matter what, you feel there is this lingering presence or shadow that just seems to loom of you, just waiting to gobble you up.
D) Depending on how long you’ve been a Christian. In your desire to a victorious Christian, you’ve tried.
· Prayer and fasting
· Deliverance, or the casting out of demons
· Inner healing
· Being diligent – Christian disciplines, read my Bible, prayer, attend church.
· Yet although you may have had some relief, that struggle, and tendency to stumble is still there.
What is Grace?
· Some confuse mercy with grace.
· God forgive me, God forgive me; they certainly know mercy. God is faithful and merciful,
· But they’re not been acquainted with Grace.
· Grace is: God’s love, God’s nature, God’s passion for us, God giving all of Himself to us.
F) Today we’re going to talk about living victorious, on receiving an abundance of Grace. Abundance of Grace, the power to reign. Romans 5 / Pray!
Pp The book of Romans is the fundamentals of our faith
1 Chapter 1 – We’re all without excuse, everyone has sinned
2 Chapter 2 – We’re all accountable (it not your spouses, neighbor or dog’s fault)
3 Chapter 3 & 4 We’re all guilty, and we cannot work our way out of it.
4 Romans 4:24-25 We’re introduced to Christ Jesus by Grace.

Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith
Hebrew’s 12: 1-2 TPT
As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!
We attract what we believe
Mark 9: 22-24 TPT
22 The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.”
23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
24 The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!

If only my grief could be weighed and placed with my calamity on the scales.…
People need to be given the opportunity and space to mourn what they lost. When we try to rally someone too soon we might distract then from the great work of God. be there for your friend or family member, give them time to grieve.
In moments of great loss is an opportunity to encounter God in a way that you’ll never have the chance to in times of ease.

I John 5:1-5
5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Faith in the Incarnate Son of God
5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
6 This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the[a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Concluding Affirmations
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
16 If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being

Journey to Resurrection
Easter Sunday church service
Celina TX
Bethany Worship Center
John 11:21-26
John 11:21-26 TPTMartha said to Jesus, “My Lord, if only you had come sooner, my brother wouldn’t have died. But I know that if you were to ask God for anything, he would do it for you.” Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise and live.” She replied, “Yes, I know he will rise with everyone else on resurrection day.” “Martha,” Jesus said, “You don’t have to wait until then. I am the Resurrection, and I am Life Eternal. Anyone who clings to me in faith, even though he dies, will live forever. And the one who lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
41So they rolled away the heavy stone. Jesus gazed into heaven and said, “Father, thank you that you have heard my prayer, 42for you listen to every word I speak. Now, so that these who stand here with me will believe that you have sent me to the earth as your messenger, I will use the power you have given me.” 43Then with a loud voice Jesus shouted with authority: “Lazarus! Come out of the tomb!”
44Then in front of everyone, Lazarus, who had died four days earlier, slowly hobbled out—he still had grave clothes tightly wrapped around his hands and feet and covering his face! Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him and let him loose.”
JOHN 12Mary Anoints Jesus
1Six days before the Passover began, Jesus went back to Bethany, the town where he raised Lazarus from the dead. 2They had prepared a supper for Jesus. Martha served, and Lazarus and Mary were among those at the table. 3Mary picked up an alabaster jar filled with nearly a liter of extremely rare and costly perfume—the purest extract of nard, and she anointed Jesus’ feet. Then she wiped them dry with her long hair. And the fragrance of the costly oil filled the house. 4But Judas the locksmith, Simon’s son, the betrayer, spoke up and said, 5“What a waste! We could have sold this perfume for a fortune and given the money to the poor!”
6(In fact, Judas had no heart for the poor. He only said this because he was a thief and in charge of the money case. He would steal money whenever he wanted from the funds given to support Jesus’ ministry.)
7Jesus said to Judas, “Leave her alone! She has saved it for the time of my burial. 8You’ll always have the poor with you; but you won’t always have me.”
9When the word got out that Jesus was not far from Jerusalem, a large crowd came out to see him, and they also wanted to see Lazarus, the man Jesus had raised from the dead. 10This prompted the chief priests to seal their plans to do away with both Jesus and Lazarus,

Deuteronomy 8
19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
20 As the nations which the Lord destroyed before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God.
Psalm 78Give ear, O my people, to my teaching;
incline your ears to the words of my mouth!
2 I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings from of old,
3 things that we have heard and known,
that our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.
5 He established a testimony in Jacob
and appointed a law in Israel,
which he commanded our fathers
to teach to their children,
6 that the next generation might know them,
the children yet unborn,
and arise and tell them to their children,
7 so that they should set their hope in God
and not forget the works of God,
but keep his commandments;
8 and that they should not be like their fathers,
a stubborn and rebellious generation,
a generation whose heart was not steadfast,
whose spirit was not faithful to God.
9 The Ephraimites, armed with[b] the bow,
turned back on the day of battle.
10 They did not keep God's covenant,
but refused to walk according to his law.
11 They forgot his works
and the wonders that he had shown them.
12 In the sight of their fathers he performed wonders
in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.
13 He divided the sea and let them pass through it,
and made the waters stand like a heap.
14 In the daytime he led them with a cloud,
and all the night with a fiery light.
15 He split rocks in the wilderness
and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.
16 He made streams come out of the rock
and caused waters to flow down like rivers.

Basic Tenets of the Faith
Developing a Biblical View of the Spiritual World
It is time for the church to prepare itself. To rise in maturity and to put to shame the counterfeit dominion of darkness masquerading as a kingdom of light.
Familiar spiritual in 2 Kings 6;18-23 the Prophet Elisha and his servant are in the city of Dothan and the King of Aram send chariots, horses, and a substantial army to seize him.
o Servant sees the army and comes running to Elisha fearful.
o And Elisha said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are greater than those who are with them v16
1 Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes so that he may see. And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes….” 2 King 6:17
o The Lord opens his eyes……. Tap the brakes
o What if we prayed and the Lord opened our eyes.
o What if the walls and ceil disappeared and we could see this entire invisible world surrounding us.
o What would we see right now.
Pp The supernatural world is another world.
o It’s not an imaginary dimension.
o 1 It’s not the invisible part of this natural world.
Prayer/ Foundational
2 By faith we understand that the world has been created by the word of God so that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible. Hebrews 11:3 NAS
3 Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen. TPT
PpThe spiritual world existed before the natural world and is greater.
o No one knows how big our universe is, in fact this handiwork of God, is mind- boggling. (Light year 5.88 trillion miles) Milky Way 105,700 light years)
o Romans 1 says that by this physical universe, we should be able to discern God’s power and divine nature.
o Truth bomb: We can’t. If the vast of this universe which by design is to humble us and puts us in a place of awe and worship. Reveals our classic disconnect
o Why would we then take something from this and call it God and worship the created over the Creator.
1 It best to envision the natural world as superimposed upon the spiritual world, keeping in mind that the spiritual world preexists and supersedes the natural world.
The spiritual world (angels and such) was a created dimension, But God transcend above because it came from Him.
There are many things in the spiritual world – not elements of physical substance, but things of spiritual substance, invisible to us but, indeed real.
o 1 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Eph.1:3
o Just as God created this world, mountains, trees, water and sky, the spiritual unseen has things of spiritual substance, a world of treasures and delights.
Pp The spiritual realm is where God dwells.
o 1God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth Jn 4:24
Pp The spiritual realm is where angels exist.
o We think of the Christmas angel that was on the tree. White with wings, a robe, blonde hair and beautiful …… Oh looks like me! I’m taking that world and making it in an image of me. (say Disconnect) Not the cupid/baby in the diaper
o 1 Gen. 3:24 cherubim, with a flaming sword. Generally non-descrip other than it states has wings.
o 2 Isa. 6:1-6 v2 Seraphim were standing above Him, each having six wings: with two each covered hi

Psalm 34King James Version34 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
**Jesus Heals in Response to Faith

40 On the other side of the lake the crowds welcomed Jesus, because they had been waiting for him. 41 Then a man named Jairus, a leader of the local synagogue, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come home with him. 42 His only daughter,[a] who was about twelve years old, was dying.
As Jesus went with him, he was surrounded by the crowds. 43 A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding,[b] and she could find no cure. 44 Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped.
45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.
Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.” 47 When the woman realized that she could not stay hidden, she began to tremble and fell to her knees in front of him. The whole crowd heard her explain why she had touched him and that she had been immediately healed. 48 “Daughter,” he said to her, “your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
49 While he was still speaking to her, a messenger arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. He told him, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.”
50 But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
51 When they arrived at the house, Jesus wouldn’t let anyone go in with him except Peter, John, James, and the little girl’s father and mother. 52 The house was filled with people weeping and wailing, but he said, “Stop the weeping! She isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.”
53 But the crowd laughed at him because they all knew she had died. 54 Then Jesus took her by the hand and said in a loud voice, “My child, get up!” 55 And at that moment her life[c] returned, and she immediately stood up! Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. 56 Her parents were overwhelmed, but Jesus insisted that they not tell anyone what had happened.

1 Samuel 30The Message David’s Strength Was in His God
30 1-3 Three days later, David and his men arrived back in Ziklag. Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They tore Ziklag to pieces and then burned it down. They captured all the women, young and old. They didn’t kill anyone, but drove them like a herd of cattle. By the time David and his men entered the village, it had been burned to the ground, and their wives, sons, and daughters all taken prisoner.
4-6 David and his men burst out in loud wails—wept and wept until they were exhausted with weeping. David’s two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail widow of Nabal of Carmel, had been taken prisoner along with the rest. And suddenly David was in even worse trouble. There was talk among the men, bitter over the loss of their families, of stoning him.
6-7 David strengthened himself with trust in his God. He ordered Abiathar the priest, son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the Ephod so I can consult God.” Abiathar brought it to David.
8 Then David prayed to God, “Shall I go after these raiders? Can I catch them?”
The answer came, “Go after them! Yes, you’ll catch them! Yes, you’ll make the rescue!”
9-10 David went, he and the six hundred men with him. They arrived at the Brook Besor, where some of them dropped out. David and four hundred men kept up the pursuit, but two hundred of them were too fatigued to cross the Brook Besor, and stayed there.
11-12 Some who went on came across an Egyptian in a field and took him to David. They gave him bread and he ate. And he drank some water. They gave him a piece of fig cake and a couple of raisin muffins. Life began to revive in him. He hadn’t eaten or drunk a thing for three days and nights!
13-14 David said to him, “Who do you belong to? Where are you from?”
“I’m an Egyptian slave of an Amalekite,” he said. “My master walked off and left me when I got sick—that was three days ago. We had raided the Negev of the Kerethites, of Judah, and of Caleb. Ziklag we burned.”
15 David asked him, “Can you take us to the raiders?”
“Promise me by God,” he said, “that you won’t kill me or turn me over to my old master, and I’ll take you straight to the raiders.”
16 He led David to them. They were scattered all over the place, eating and drinking, gorging themselves on all the loot they had plundered from Philistia and Judah.
17-20 David pounced. He fought them from before sunrise until evening of the next day. None got away except for four hundred of the younger men who escaped by riding off on camels. David rescued everything the Amalekites had taken. And he rescued his two wives! Nothing and no one was missing—young or old, son or daughter, plunder or whatever. David recovered the whole lot. He herded the sheep and cattle before them, and they all shouted, “David’s plunder!”
21 Then David came to the two hundred who had been too tired to continue with him and had dropped out at the Brook Besor. They came out to welcome David and his band. As he came near he called out, “Success!”
22 But all the mean-spirited men who had marched with David, the rabble element, objected: “They didn’t help in the rescue, they don’t get any of the plunder we recovered. Each man can have his wife and children, but that’s it. Take them and go!”
23-25 “Families don’t do this sort of thing! Oh no, my brothers!” said David as he broke up the argument. “You can’t act this way with what God gave us! God kept us safe. He handed over the raiders who attacked us. Who would ever listen to this kind of talk? The share of the one who stays with the gear is the share of the one who fights—equal shares. Share and share alike!” From that da

Faith - Trusting God
4 1-3 So how do we fit what we know of Abraham, our first father in the faith, into this new way of looking at things? If Abraham, by what he did for God, got God to approve him, he could certainly have taken credit for it. But the story we’re given is a God-story, not an Abraham-story. What we read in Scripture is, “Abraham entered into what God was doing for him, and that was the turning point. He trusted God to set him right instead of trying to be right on his own.”
4-5 If you’re a hard worker and do a good job, you deserve your pay; we don’t call your wages a gift. But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it—you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked—well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift.
6-9 David confirms this way of looking at it, saying that the one who trusts God to do the putting-everything-right without insisting on having a say in it is one fortunate man:
Fortunate those whose crimes are carted off,
whose sins are wiped clean from the slate.
Fortunate the person against
whom the Lord does not keep score.
Do you think for a minute that this blessing is only pronounced over those of us who keep our religious ways and are circumcised? Or do you think it possible that the blessing could be given to those who never even heard of our ways, who were never brought up in the disciplines of God? We all agree, don’t we, that it was by embracing what God did for him that Abraham was declared fit before God?
10-11 Now think: Was that declaration made before or after he was marked by the covenant rite of circumcision? That’s right, before he was marked. That means that he underwent circumcision as evidence and confirmation of what God had done long before to bring him into this acceptable standing with himself, an act of God he had embraced with his whole life.
12 And it means further that Abraham is father of all people who embrace what God does for them while they are still on the “outs” with God, as yet unidentified as God’s, in an “uncircumcised” condition. It is precisely these people in this condition who are called “set right by God and with God”! Abraham is also, of course, father of those who have undergone the religious rite of circumcision not just because of the ritual but because they were willing to live in the risky faith-embrace of God’s action for them, the way Abraham lived long before he was marked by circumcision.
13-15 That famous promise God gave Abraham—that he and his children would possess the earth—was not given because of something Abraham did or would do. It was based on God’s decision to put everything together for him, which Abraham then entered when he believed. If those who get what God gives them only get it by doing everything they are told to do and filling out all the right forms properly signed, that eliminates personal trust completely and turns the promise into an ironclad contract! That’s not a holy promise; that’s a business deal. A contract drawn up by a hard-nosed lawyer and with plenty of fine print only makes sure that you will never be able to collect. But if there is no contract in the first place, simply a promise—and God’s promise at that—you can’t break it.
16 This is why the fulfillment of God’s promise depends entirely on trusting God and his way, and then simply embracing him and what he does. God’s promise arrives as pure gift. That’s the only way everyone can be sure to get in on it, those who keep the reli

https://bethanyworshipcenter.com/sermons-2/ The Coming of the Lord
2 Now, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him, we plead with you, beloved friends, 2 not to be easily confused or disturbed in your minds by any kind of spirit, rumor, or letter allegedly from us, claiming that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. Before that day comes the rebellion must occur and the “outlaw”—the destructive son—will be revealed in his true light. 4 He is the opposing counterpart who exalts himself over everything that is called “God” or is worshiped and who sits enthroned in God’s temple and makes himself out to be a god. 5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I went over all these things?
6 Now you are aware of the ruling power so that he may be fully revealed when his time comes. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already active, but the one who prevails will do so until he is separated from out of the midst. 8 Then the “outlaw” will be openly revealed, and the Lord will overthrow him by the breath of his mouth and bring him to an end by the dazzling manifestation of his presence
9 The presence of the “outlaw” is apparent by the activity of Satan, who uses all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs, spurious wonders, 10 and every form of evil deception in order to deceive those who are perishing because they rejected the love of the truth that would lead them to being saved. 11 Because of this, God sends them a powerful delusion that leads them to believe what is false. 12 So then all who found their pleasure in unrighteousness and did not believe the truth will be judged.

Luke 15:11-24 TPTThen Jesus said, “Once there was a father with two sons. The younger son came to his father and said, ‘Father, don’t you think it’s time to give me the share of your estate that belongs to me?’ So the father went ahead and distributed among the two sons their inheritance. Shortly afterward, the younger son packed up all his belongings and traveled off to see the world. He journeyed to a far-off land where he soon wasted all he was given in a binge of extravagant and reckless living. “With everything spent and nothing left, he grew hungry, for there was a severe famine in that land. So he begged a farmer in that country to hire him. The farmer hired him and sent him out to feed the pigs. The son was so famished, he was willing to even eat the slop given to the pigs, because no one would feed him a thing. “Humiliated, the son finally realized what he was doing and he thought, ‘There are many workers at my father’s house who have all the food they want with plenty to spare. They lack nothing. Why am I here dying of hunger, feeding these pigs and eating their slop? I want to go back home to my father’s house, and I’ll say to him, “Father, I was wrong. I have sinned against you. I’ll never be worthy to be called your son. Please, Father, just treat me like one of your employees.” ’ “So the young son set off for home. From a long distance away, his father saw him coming, dressed as a beggar, and great compassion swelled up in his heart for his son who was returning home. So the father raced out to meet him. He swept him up in his arms, hugged him dearly, and kissed him over and over with tender love. “Then the son said, ‘Father, I was wrong. I have sinned against you. I could never deserve to be called your son. Just let me be—’ “The father interrupted and said, ‘Son, you’re home now!’ “Turning to his servants, the father said, ‘Quick, bring me the best robe, my very own robe, and I will place it on his shoulders. Bring the ring, the seal of sonship, and I will put it on his finger. And bring out the best shoes you can find for my son. Let’s prepare a great feast and celebrate. For this beloved son of mine was once dead, but now he’s alive again. Once he was lost, but now he is found!’ And everyone celebrated with overflowing joy.

1 Corinthians 2
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. [1]
2
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
3
I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.
4
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,
5
so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
6
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7
No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.
8
None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" [2] --
10
but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. [3]
14
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15
The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" [4] But we have the mind of Christ.
Pastor Carl gives a fiery patriotic message on the troubling times our country faces.
Let this test not deplete you Luke 4: 1-14 Jesus was lead by the Holy Spirit into the test. Test prepare us for the next test. Jesus left full of the Spirit when he returned.

1 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 That evening the disciples gathered together. And because they were afraid of reprisals from the Jewish leaders, they had locked the doors to the place where they met. But suddenly Jesus appeared among them and said,“Peace to you!”Then he showed them the wounds of his hands and his side—they were overjoyed to see the Lord with their own eyes!
21 Jesus repeated his greeting, “Peace to you!” And he told them, “Just as the Father has sent me, I’m now sending you.” 22 Then, taking a deep breath, he blew on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit

An Angelic Encounter
That night, in a field near Bethlehem, there were shepherds watching over their flocks. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared in radiant splendor before them, lighting up the field with the blazing glory of God, and the shepherds were terrified! But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! For today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah. 12 You will recognize him by this miracle sign: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a feeding trough!”
Then all at once, a vast number of glorious angels appeared, the very armies of heaven! And they all praised God, singing:
“Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven!
For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.”

And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.
Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind.
You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable.
Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?

the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!
You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way.
Your authority is my strength and my peace.[g]
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.
5 You become my delicious feast
even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit;[h]
you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.

For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life.
Then afterward, when my life is through,

Matthew 5:43-45
Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
4 Then suddenly, after I wrote down these messages, I saw a heavenly portal open before me and the same trumpet-voice I heard speaking with me at the beginning broke the silence and said, “Ascend into this realm! I want to reveal to you what must happen after this.”
2 Instantly I was taken into the spirit realm, and behold—I saw a heavenly throne set in place and someone seated upon it. 3 His appearance was sparkling like crystal and glowing like a carnelian gemstone. Surrounding the throne was a circle of green light, like an emerald rainbow. 4 Encircling the great throne were twenty-four thrones with elders in glistening white garments seated upon them, each wearing a golden crown of victory. 5 And pulsing from the throne were blinding flashes of lightning, crashes of thunder, and voices. And burning before the throne are seven blazing torches, which represent the seven Spirits of God . 6 And in front of the throne there was pavement like a crystal sea of glass.
Worship around the Throne
Around the throne and on each side stood four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind.[r] 7 The first living creature resembled a lion, the second an ox, the third had a human face, and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings, full of eyes all around and under their wings. They worshiped without ceasing, day and night, singing,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty!
The Was, the Is and the Coming!”
9 And whenever the living creatures gave glory, honor, and thanks to the One who is enthroned and who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fell facedown before the one seated on the throne and they worshiped the one who lives forever and ever. And they surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing:
11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory, honor, and power,
for you created all things,
and by your plan they were created and exist.”
