Before he can convince her to come with him, Esther and her family are evacuated to a Jewish concentration camp in the Harz Mountains. Now Henrik must choose between his tainted loyalty to an evil regime or his forbidden love for a Jewish woman. Will he continue to work on Hitler’s dreaded Vengeance weapons with the secrets he has brought with him from America, or will he set out on a doomed mission deep into the heart of the Third Reich to save Esther and her family? Whatever his decision, only the fate of the civilized world hangs in the balance.

Henrik is interrogated by a vengeful Klein and must prove his loyalty through an act of violence.
Henrik escapes from the Holland airbase in his repaired Mustang and fights an air duel with the Messerschmitt Turbojet.
With Heydrich in hot pursuit, Henrik heads south where he finds an old farmhouse to stop for the night.
Heydrich accuses Henrik of sabotage, but Kessler Sr. clears him with a lie. Neils coerces Henrik into a midnight raid of Wolf’s Lair to assassinate Hitler and find the location of the Jacobs family.
Sarah becomes sick from the doctor’s experiments and is transferred to Auschwitz. Meanwhile, Henrik sneaks into the Peenemunde labor camp and meets Esther’s father.
The doctor examines the Jacobs girls before they begin work in the Harz tunnel. Henrik travels with Neils to Goering’s airplane factory and sees the Messerschmitt 262 Me Turbojet in action.
Esther and Sarah meet a mysterious doctor in Dora-Mittelbau and Henrik sees the V-1 robot plane at Peenemunde.
While Esther and Sarah are transferred to Dora-Mittelbau, Henrik is taken to the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute where he witnesses Heisenberg's uranium experiment.
Henrik meets Hitler at a party in Berlin and then searches the Chancellery for a secret archive that will reveal the location of Esther.
Henrik convinces Obergruppenfuhrer Heydrich that he has vital information about the American A-bomb.
Henrik returns to Esther’s house in the morning and is attacked by a British agent who has been contracted to kill the rogue American pilot.
Henrik radios the U-boat waiting offshore telling them not to leave without him. In the night, Esther’s family is taken to a concentration camp.
The mysterious pilot, Henrik Kessler, escapes to Amsterdam to smuggle his former fiance, Esther Jacobs, out of Holland.
