2 Blokes Chatting life as an informal podcast that focused mainly on VFL, VFLW & local footy in and around the Geelong region. During 2019, we produced over 30 episodes, primarily eavesdropping on the 2 Blokes as they chatted.
With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the VFL, VFLW & local footy was cancelled (yes, some VFL games have been scheduled but none involving our Geelong Cats) and so the 2 Blokes Chatting podcast went into recess.
And then the call came - our local radio station engaged the 2 Blokes to host a live program from 9:00am till 11:00am every Saturday morning, starting on 28 March 2020. And so, 2 Blokes Chatting became The 2 Blokes Chatting Radio Show!
Licensing restrictions forbid us from including the very excellent music that we play on the Radio Show in podcast episodes and so, we have taken it upon ourselves to extract the guest interviews from each program and upload them as podcast episodes - one episode per radio program.

Well, we are just about there ... all local and state league footy has been done and dusted and Nat Fyfe has had to purchase an extra trophy cabinet after becoming the 15th person to win more than one Brownlow Medal.
In this episode, the 2 Blokes chat about all of the State League Finals - Including the VFLW - and predict the winners of the Cats VFL & VFLW Best And Fairest winners. We also celebrate a young fellow who kicked the winning goal In the GFL grand final with two seconds to play.
This week has seen grand finalists decided at state league and GFL level and grand finals played in the BFL & GDFL. Rob and Neil pontificate about the upcoming grand finals and talk about the two AFL preliminary finals plus their thoughts on the Brownlow.

We hit the road for our first ever recording session in front of a LIVE audience ... and, of course, we visit the recently renovated Mount Moriac Hotel for the event.
Both sets of Cats met their match in their respective Elimination Final on Saturday. Neil and Rob chat about the season that was and tips for the Liston, the Lambert Pearce and the premierships.
