With the election and all the chaos going on around us, it is easy to feel anxious and out of control. But no matter what happens, God is in control.
A simple church is not a small group. Small groups are about care and content. A Simple Church is two or more people coming together to practice the ways of Jesus and make disciples for Jesus.
Jesus saw hurting people and wanted them to know the good news of grace. How do we join in on this and have an impact with our life. Jesus gives us a method called disciple making that can change our world and will change our lives.
Small groups focus on care and content. Simple churches care about care and content, but they focus on action and multiplication.
The Old Testament commanded people to tithe. The New Testament inspires people to be radically generous. Tithing is the training wheels for radical generosity.
We're all living out a "money story." What if that story was a better one? What if by living out a better money story we could grow as humans, flourish, and have an impact on the world?
The Bible has been a source of wealth management principles for thousands of years. If we apply these principles to our lives, we will prosper. Let's learn from God how to invest for success.
Having more money isn't a bad thing. In fact, God sees money as a powerful resource. We can have more of that powerful resource if we save more and spend less.
The creator of the universe, the one who created all wealth, wants to help you become wealthier. God wants to be your money manager. Will you be His?
We think we deserve to go to heaven. We actually deserve to go to hell. Because of Jesus we get what we don't deserve and are saved from what we do deserve.
Is there evil in our world? Is Satan real? And if Jesus was victorious on the cross, why is their still suffering? The cross was victorious over evil, and now we live in between the two worlds of the natural and supernatural.
Why does God allow this evil?
In week four of our series The Gospel, we explore the major tension in of good versus evil in our world today. Jesus was victorious on the cross and He won this war for us so we don't have to.
Freedom can actually capture us, yet Jesus came to pay the price. There was a high cost for us to be set free from our sin. Why did Jesus die on the cross? Why do we need Jesus's ransom for our salvation? When we remember the price, we live the new life.
