In Acts 4, Peter and John are arrested for healing a lame man and for preaching about the resurrection of Christ. Just as Peter and John were forbidden from saying the name of Jesus, Christians face opposition today. Pastor Ron encourages us to "... honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,..." (1 Peter 3:15 ESV).

In Acts 3, Peter heals a lame man in the name of Jesus. Upon this act, Peter preaches to the crowd at the temple gate, explaining that the healing power came from Jesus, not from him.
