In this week’s episode of The Terrific Teacherpreneur, I celebrate my 200th episode of the podcast! I asked the following question: What have you done lately in your business that has had a big, positive impact on your earnings? Ten sellers (new and veteran) shared their wisdom with me.

In this episode, I read out their advice and chat about:

  • The common habits and strategies successful sellers are prioritizing right now
  • The types of products that sell well
  • Adapting to a changing TPT and AI landscape
  • Why being human and building relationships with your audience may be more important than ever

A few recurring themes came up again and again across different niches and store sizes.

It appears that success comes from creating strategically, marketing consistently, serving a specific audience, and building products that teachers come back for again and again.

If you've been wondering what's actually working on TPT as of 2026, this episode is packed with practical ideas and plenty of encouragement!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of my wonderful listeners. I wouldn't be doing this without each and every single one of you!

Also, thank you to the sellers who responded!

On this week’s episode of The Terrific Teacherpreneur, I talk about one of the biggest challenges TPT sellers face: figuring out where to spend your time for the best growth.

Are you spending too much time creating products… and not enough time marketing them?

Or maybe you’ve fallen into the endless optimization rabbit hole and haven’t made anything new in months.

We’re diving into the three major areas of running a successful TPT store:

  • product creation
  • product optimization
  • marketing

…and why not having a balance can hold your store back.

I share why flexibility matters more than following rigid schedules and rules.

Whether you’re a newer seller trying to grow or an experienced seller feeling stuck, this episode will help you think more strategically about how you use your limited work time.

No, wait. that goes against everything that I just taught you in this episode! How about this instead...

Are you struggling to make sales on Teachers Pay Teachers? Do you feel like you’re putting in a lot of time and effort but not seeing the results?

Perhaps you’re a new seller and you’re struggling with how to make sales.

Or perhaps you’ve been selling for years but you’re seeing a plateau in your sales.

I know how that feels. I made $2.70 my first month on TPT. For the next few years, my growth was slow and TPT was just a side hustle (and not a very profitable one at that, my friend)!

Well, I decided that enough was enough. I started to learn how to make my products actually sell and now I'm able to sell on TPT full time.

I began coaching so that I could help others achieve their potential. Let's grow your business together. Start today.

Welcome to the first episode of The Terrific Teacherpreneur Podcast!

My name is Alex and I am a teacher author on Teachers Pay Teachers. I have been selling my teaching resources on TPT since 2015. As much as I love being a TPT seller, I'll admit that it's been hard work!

In this brief introductory episode, you can get to know me and my backstory.  I talk about:

  • How I got started on Teachers Pay Teachers
  • What you can expect from this podcast

Make sure to stay connected so that you don't miss out on any tips or advice for growing your business. Subscribe to this podcast, because the next episodes are going to be brief (there's not enough hours in the day, am I right?) but jam-packed full of helpful information!
