Lifeline is the student ministry of Ada Bible Church. Our goal in Lifeline is to help students ground their identity in Jesus. One way we aim to do this is by helping our students understand the Bible and how it can apply to their life.
At Lifeline we are setting aside time to work along side some local ministries, to help them meet the needs of the people they serve. So it's natural on nights like this to ask the question "why are we serving?" or "what is the point of tonight?"
Jesus was the best teacher! He not only told his followers the ways that they were missing out on the life God had for them, he showed them the way to real life. This week we are exploring what he coached his followers on about worry and stress-- what Jesus has to say is for all of us!
We all enter seasons that cause us to say, “I didn’t think it would go this way…” the question is what should we do? When we look at the Christmas story, we are given a perfect example of how to handle seasons of stress.
Stress is something many of us are familiar with, so we're glad for the opportunity to talk about it over the new few weeks. As we start our new series, we will begin by looking at a story that gives us three examples to follow when dealing with our own stress.
This week we look at how we can live with Jesus here and now and keep our faith from becoming "boring".

What’s most important? If you were to rank what rule or commandment is most important to God, what would you choose? What makes you feel alive? Is it accomplishing something? Is it having friends? Is it being happy? As we begin a new year of Lifeline, Luke talks about the one thing that truly makes us aliv
It's the final teaching of our 2020-2021 season! As we head towards summer, Luke will be taking a look at how we can grow closer to God over the coming months.
When we look at some of the characters in the Bible, we realize that they are a lot like us. Jacob was an imperfect person who let his desires dictate his decisions. When we look at his story, we will not only learn a lot about ourselves, but we will also learn a lot about God.
Have you ever felt like giving up? Maybe on school, on friendships, or even on God? Is that feeling of wanting to give up normal? And what does God do when his followers express that they want to give up? When we look at the story of Elijah, we will find out!
When we go through seasons of doubt, how can we grow closer to God? In this teaching we will be learning about the Disciple Thomas, and how he navigated doubt as a follower of Jesus.
Characters from the Bible are just like us! Sometimes they do what is right, sometimes they don’t. As we begin this series on different characters in the Bible, Rachel Stevens reminds us of who the main character of the Bible (and of our lives) really is.
What does a great friend do? While there are plenty of ways to answer this question, Jesus gives us the best example of how to be a great friends to others.

During this conversation, we will talk about the cheat code that significantly increases our chance at healthier relationships and invites us to do what we can to bring our best selves to our friends and family.
As we conclude our series on dating, we will look at some of the instruction we have been given when it comes to dating, temptation, and sexuality. When we evaluate God’s Word, we will see that our life purpose is far greater than what we imagine.
In week 2 of our series on dating, Luke walks us through a story about someone who made many mistakes that led to his demise. When we look at where Samson went wrong, we given the opportunity to learn from his mistakes and make a commitment towards healthier relationships.
Let’s be honest: it’s easy to build our worth or our identity on things that end up being destructive. As we begin this series about dating, we will start with the foundational question that leads to healthy or not-so-healthy dating habits: What makes me who I am?
As we conclude our collection of conversations about prayer, we look at the last part of the Lord’s prayer about forgiveness and temptation. As we conclude the Lord’s Prayer and this series, we are faced with one question that we have to answer every day: Am I willing to let God change me?
As we continue our collection of conversations about prayer, we look at some of the things Jesus told us to ask God for in prayer. In looking at these items, we will learn that God cares about the little things of today and the big things of tomorrow!
As we continue our collection of conversations about prayer, we look at the fact that God cannot be placed in the boxes that we often like to put things in. Sometimes this frustrates us because there is a certain mystery to who God is and what He is about, but this is the very reason we have to worship Him and rejoice in the fact that we serve a God who is so much more than we can imagine!
As we continue our collection of conversations about prayer, we have learn about the difference between chasing approval from man or God and enjoying and delighting in the presence of God.
As we kick off a new collection of teachings entitled, “How Do I Pray?” , we take a closer look at what prayer is and discovery what a privilege and a miracle it is.

Kirk Bierens, former Lifeline staff member and current associate pastor at Berkley Hills Church talks about the things in our life that hinder us from following Jesus and the sin that can keep us from walking freely with God. In this inspiring conversation, Kirk invites us to live into the future where our faith grows more than ever.
Lemarr Jackson, Youth Pastor of Madison Square Church in Grand Rapids, walks through the powerful story of Jonah from the Old Testament of the Bible.
