In the mid 2006, Brandi founded the tea company because she was a lover of tea and named it Just Add Honey. Couple Stuff: Meet the Parkers with Dr. Reginald and Robin Parker. Dr. Parker is the Founder of Optimal Technology Corporation. He is a graduate of MIT and Georgia Tech and worked his way out of poverty. Robin Parker is also quit accomplished in her career so being a founder spouse has come with some ups and down.
Despite the difficult journey of starting a business with a family, they wake up everyday and keep following their path. Reginald is also a recipient of the Google for Startup Black Founders Fund and was the pitch winner of the 2018 GFS Black Founders Exchange.

I needed to take a pause and reflect on my own founder journey. I started my technology company in 2017 and have evolved and matured several steps closer to building the technology company that I've dreamed of i.e. MyTAASK. Just as being an entrepreneur isn't for everyone, neither is being a partner of a Founder. People can get so mesmerized by the fame of Founders who reach the "Unicorn" status. What is not seen or often talked about is the spouse/partner that sacrifices a lot in order for success to be possible.
Supporting a Founder who’s investing hundreds of hours a month most likely personal saving towards a new business venture, can feel like a full-time job.
