Since then, he has been working in the interface of European and Chinese Automotive companies and their machine suppliers. The Automotive industry is one of the strongest industries in China, employing lots of foreign talent in different roles. Michael Reddington, CFI is an expert at moving people from resistance to commitment. As a Certified Forensic Interviewer, he achieved the highest professional designation available in the field of interview and interrogation and spent over a decade training investigator around the world on the successful application of non-confrontational interview.

Michael arrived at two key realizations while expanding his observation and persuasive skill sets. First, the very best leaders and the very best interrogators capitalize on the same two core skills - vision and influence. Second, the cognitive processes that lead customers to commit to saying "I'll buy it", employees to commit to saying "I'll do it" and suspects to commit to truthfully saying "I did it" are all nearly identical. These realizations caused Michael to recognize he could teach executives how to reduce missed opportunities and increase commitments to action

After the clock rang with 20 years climbing the corporate ladder in large multinational organisations, Chiara Covone knew she was ready to invest the next 20 years in a bigger professional purpose: help corporate professionals and entrepreneurs master their mind to achieve anything they want in their life. She is particularly proud having been instrumental for the development of what is today a multi-million-dollar business for Philip Morris International - IQOS. After PMI, she worked for Mondelez, in Strategic Marketing and Innovation roles. She is now a successful executive and business coach, and lives in Sweden with her family.

On this episode Leo interviews Peter van der Lende and Chris Smit. They work together to help executives to become culturally competent. Too often is the impact of cultural differences underestimated, leading to international expansion failures.

Chris Smit makes companies and organizations more aware of cultural diversity. In business, the impact of cultural differences is still underestimated. The world seems to be getting smaller, and yet we all bear the mark of the culture in which we grew up. This often leads to misunderstandings that are detrimental to your business.

Chris puts you on track to efficiently deal with the cultural differences. Since 1993 he has advised thousands of people from more than 100 different nationalities. His work has taken him to more than 45 countries.

Peter van der Lende helps companies expand internationally through Market and Business Development. Expanding across borders brings unique challenges. Peter has over 20 years of experience in different commercial roles and has worked and lived in nine countries.

Through his company Expand360, Peter offers a variety of engagement models that fit your needs to secure a true partnership with a mutual commitment for success. The model always aims, however, at starting with business development right away while exploring the market and building relationships as opposed to the other way around

On this episode Leo interviews Michael Reddington, CFI. He is an expert at moving people from resistance to commitment.

These realizations caused Michael to recognize he could teach executives how to reduce missed opportunities and increase commitments to action. As a result, he developed the Disciplined Listening Method, transitioned to serving as an executive resource and founded InQuasive, Inc.

Michael has been invited by companies, government agencies and executive groups to facilitate his programs across the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has led over 1,500 programs and educated over 15,000 participants from over 50 countries. To begin with, what is strategy and why is it important? Failing to plan is like planning to fail. Strategic planning is the process of assessing a corporation’s environment and internal strengths, establishing its mission and objectives, and implementing a plan of action for securing these goals. Before getting on how to formulate the plan, corporations tend to have a certain attitude. The typical orientations are three:

  • Ethnocentric
  • Polycentric
  • Geocentric

Premium Plus designs, manufactures and sells a range of quality dental products.
With a very long history of selling dental products and some frustration on what was available on the market, we began manufacturing and marketing Premium Plus products about 20 years ago. Our quick success kept us going and after starting with simple disposable products we moved onto rotary and prophylaxis products, and finally small equipment. As a manufacturer who sells wholesale and retail from our offices in the UK, the US, Japan and Hong Kong we very quickly understood that value is what attracted our customers but our quality is what keeps them coming back.
