Dave Cole, CEO of Elemental Royalty Corporation (TSXV: ELE) (Nasdaq: ELE) joins me to outline the value proposition of the proforma combination of Elemental Altus Royalties with EMX Royalty Corporation, to form an emerging intermediate royalty company. In addition to circling the globe to highlight various partner projects and operators inside their portfolio of royalties, we also discuss the value of having Tether Investments S.A. de C.V as their key stakeholder.

We start reminding investors of the big-picture rationale for this merger; creating a larger royalty company of scale, graduating up to the intermediate category. The new combined Company will have more analyst coverage and liquidity, a better cost of capital, the financial strength from the backing of the key strategic shareholder Tether Investments; and the potential to rerate in the future to a better price to net asset value multiple more in alignment with larger royalty peers.

Dave then takes us through a global tour of their diversified portfolio of royalties across precious metals, critical minerals, and battery metals. He touched upon their key cornerstone royalty partner projects like Caserones, Timok, Karlawinda, and Laverton, as well as a number of other solid producing royalties on Leeville, Gediktepe, Balya, and the suite of West African royalties (Korali-Sud, Wahgnion, and Bonikro). Dave also flagged a few key large development projects with compelling royalty upside as those projects move towards development, like the Cactus and Peak projects in Arizona, Diablillos in Argentina, Viscaria & Vittangi in Sweden, and Laverton in Australia.

In addition to growing royalties year over year, there are also a number of one-off incoming payments on pre-production royalties that are still generating revenues via lease-option payments, stage-gate payments to advance properties, advanced minimum royalty payments, and that come in by way of cash and often times shares in partner companies.

Dave points to the organic development growth still on tap in their portfolio of royalties, the future upside of their continued royalty generation strategy, the potential for larger future royalty acquisitions and royalty financings to create new royalties, and that further down the road they’ll keep their eyes out for accretive M&A opportunities.

Wrapping up Dave highlights the importance of having Tether Investments as their key strategic shareholder, and they financially backstop the kinds of accretive acquisitions that they can now go after. He also explains a bit more background on the use case for Tether stablecoins, how their company generates revenues holding treasuries, and why they are storing so much of their profits in gold, farmland, and royalty company equities.

If you have any follow up questions for Dave or the team ate Elemental Royalty Corp, then please email them to me at Shad@kereport.com.

Trey Wasser, CEO, and Maura Kolb, President, of Dryden Gold Corp (TSX.V: DRY) (OTCQB: DRYGF), join us for an exclusive Webinar recapping the key takeaways from the 2025 exploration program in this comprehensive visual update with management. We touch upon all the various work programs that were completed this year at the 3 regional areas: Gold Rock Camp, Sherridon, and Hyndman across their Dryden Gold District, in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.

We kick things off with Trey outlining the strength of the management team and board of directors, as well as the very strong list of high profile shareholders like Eric Sprott, Rob McEwen, Bob Quartermain, a number of key funds and institutions, and their 2 key strategic shareholders in Centerra Gold and Alamos Gold.

Next Maura dove into an expanded review of some the key targets drilled this season’s 15,000 meter program along both the Big Master and Elora Gold trends at the Gold Rock Camp, incorporating the data sets from the D1, D2, and new understanding of the D3 structural faulting trends. Maura highlights the drill results from around the Elora-Jubilee Target, Pearl Target, and Laurentian Mine Target, and the recent results at the drilling done testing the gap areas between those targets. We also discuss the significance of the broader bulk tonnage mineralization that is then being upgraded by the multiple high-grade intercepts along the hanging wall and foot wall trends.

We then shifted up to the initial drilling done this year at the Mud Lake target area, and how these same 3 geological deformation faults and folds are present here as well, further northeast along the Gold Rock Camp trend. There are 4 drill holes here awaiting assays to come back from the lab in the near-term. Maura highlights that there is a periodicity to this larger system along the 20kms of strike length, which demonstrate similar geological properties to the Elora Gold Shear Zone, and they’ll be following up to exploration work and targeting on more areas of interest in the year to come.

Pivoting out to the regional targets, we discussed the 3rd area of focus from this year’s program at Hyndman, following up on the detailed mapping from 2024, and the channel sampling program along existing outcrop exposures. Maura outlines where the first drill holes will be drilled at Hyndman in the 2026 season.

Next we reviewed the first 3 drill holes put in at the Sherridon regional area, which is hosted within a large geophysical anomaly with a strike length of five kilometers. Testing to date has focused on a small portion of that trend leaving the Sherridon target open in all directions. Additional drill targets for next year will be designed based on this seasons drill results and geological interpretations from expanded mineral assays, geochemistry and re-logging of historic core.

Wrapping up Trey discussed the financial health of the company and that when the strong cash position of the company is combined with the recent exercise of in-the-money warrants, that the company is fully funded for exploration initiatives heading into 2026.

If you have any questions for Trey or Maura regarding Dryden Gold, then please email them into us at Fleck@kereport.com or Shad@kereport.com.

Ali Haji, CEO of American Tungsten Corp. (CSE:TUNG) (OTCQB:DEMRF) (FSE:RK9), joins me to introduce this exploration and development company focused on bringing onshore tungsten mining and production capabilities to the United States through its derisked past-producing IMA Mine in Idaho.

We start off discussing the dynamics around this strategic defense metal, where the majority of tungsten supply is controlled by China, and is a necessary component in a wide array of defense applications, including but not limited to the production of ammunition, armored equipment, artillery, and space exploration. Today, tungsten is a classified critical metal by the U.S Department of Defense due to its strategic military importance, lack of domestic production capabilities, and growing tensions with China; in November 2024, China announced a global ban on all of its tungsten exports

Next we shifted over to the tungsten, molybdenum, and silver resources in place and the infrastructure advantages of the IMA Mine as an advanced, past producing brownfields site, located on patented mining claims in Idaho. There has been a substantial amount of capital has spent over many years to advance and build the project by various mining companies, including the Bradley Mining Company, Inspiration Development Co. (subsidiary of Anglo American PLC), and American Metal Climax. There is solid infrastructure including roads, tier-1 low-cost power supply, water rights, and a mining-oriented labor force nearby, which can help fast-track this project back into production, with a low capex anticipated to be ~$20 Million.

There is planned 6,000 foot drilling program for this summer, to expand the tungsten, molybdenum, and silver mineral resources, and this will be utilized for an updated Resource Estimate, and the upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) due out later this year. The company will also be conducting a trial mining and bulk sample exercise where mineralized material will be shipped to 2 different smelters for processing, and will also bring in non-dilutive capital to the company. Ali highlights that all these factors demonstrate the potential for a readily permittable short-term, small scale tungsten production operation of around 500 tonnes-per-day to start with as soon as 12 months out.

Wrapping up, we focused on Ali’s professional background, and the experience of members of the management team and board, as well as the financial health of the company. The company has a financing in place to fund the immediate financial needs for this year’s exploration and derisking work, and is pursuing the debt package for the capex needed to rehabilitate the mine and move it back into production. Additionally, there is the opportunity to secure key strategic partnerships and non-dilutive financing with the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and those discussions have begun and applications are being filed.

If you have any questions for Ali regarding American Tungsten, then please email those in to me at Shad@kereport.com.

Pat Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Ucore Rare Metals (TSX.V: UCU) (OTCQX: UURAF), joins me for a comprehensive introduction to the Company’s Rapid SX rare earth separation technology, their demonstration plant in Kingston, Ontario, and their engineering and development plans for their Strategic Metals Complex in Alexandria, Louisiana.

We start off with a more general discussion on the importance of the 17 rare earth elements in many aspects of technology, energy, and defense, noting in particular the importance of the heavy rare earth elements in permanent magnets, electric vehicles, windmills, and defense (like the F-35 fighters and nuclear submarines). This then leads into global marketplace that has been and still is dominated by China for the processing and separation of rare earth, as well as the alloys for manufacturing.

Ucore Rare Metals was seeking out different alternatives and efficiencies to the standard Chinese solvent extraction methodology, and eventually partnered with the Innovation Metals Corp to develop a solvent extraction method that was much faster, with a far smaller physical footprint, using a closed loop computerized column process. Not only was it more friendly to ESG initiatives, but the speed and efficiencies have become attractive to potential off-take partners, and to the US, Canadian, and European governments. Pat expands on different government funds available to help with developing North American domestic supplies of rare earth elements, and that they are in negotiations with a number of permanent magnet, automotive, and energy companies for potential partnerships and non-dilutive financing options. The believe their Strategic Metals Complex in Louisiana, will be the first template for several more plants to be constructed, not just in the US , but also in Canada and Europe.

If you have any questions for Pat regarding Ucore Rare Metals, then please email them in to me at Shad@kereport.com and we’ll get those addressed by the company or cover them in future interviews.

Gwen Preston, Vice President Of Investor Relations for West Red Lake Gold Mines (TSX.V:WRLG – OTCQB:WRLGF), joins us to discuss her new role with the company, and the key steps from exploration and development towards a mine restart plan targeting mid-2025 at the Company’s 100% owned Madsen Mine located in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwestern Ontario, Canada.

Many listeners will recall Gwen’s last decade in the mining sector, as Publisher of Resource Maven, and so we start off getting a behind-the-scenes look at why she has decided to now focus on sharing with the marketplace the vision of where West Red Lake Gold is headed in the years to come. In addition to having quality assets in the Red Lake area, it really came down to her confidence in the solid management team and operations team, after having spent time visiting the project and talking to a range of personnel in various roles. After probing into why the prior operators failed, and getting consistent feedback as to why the new team will be able to fix and optimize many of those prior bottlenecks and inconsistencies, she has conviction in the pathway in front of West Red Lake Gold to get the Madsen Mine back into production in about a year.

We discuss the importance of doing so much exploration to really reinterpret a better geological model of the deposit, that feeds into a better feedback loop with the engineering team designing the mine plan. We also review the company cashing up through recent capital raises to be able to execute on a number of initiatives for exploration, derisking, and development work that will feed into an updated Pre-Feasibility Study at the tail end of 2024 or early 2025. This study will lay out the remaining steps necessary to get the operations back into production the middle of next year.

If you have any follow up questions for Gwen or the team over at West Red Lake Gold please email us at either Shad@kereport.com or Fleck@kereport.com.

  • In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of West Red Lake Gold Mines at the time of this recording.

Many overlook the fact that — within the Oniva Group-run companies founded by the late Louis Wolfin and today overseen by his son David Wolfin — there is not just the best known of those, (being Avino Silver and Gold Mines, Ltd.)

Among the others is Coral Gold – and here I visit with Luc Lesage, another member of David’s team in Vancouver who is one of the largest shareholders himself of Coral.  Though sporting a better-looking chart than most gold junior explorers, Coral STILL sells for slightly less than the cash it has in the bank. And as we discuss here, with a Barrick Gold royalty on Coral’s former Robertson property that could one day cause Coral’s value to rise exponentially.

Here’s another interview Chris is sharing with one of his featured companies:  The story of Mexico’s energy reform after 80 years of quasi-state control is one of the most actionable investment stories I’ve ever seen.  Yet it STILL remains one of the most under-covered, even in the financial press.

As IFR’s Hanson and I recap today, his company’s first-mover advantage as Mexico’s energy assets become more privatized has now led to the first drilling/development at Tonalli Energia’s (the corporation owned 50% each by IFR and Mexican petrochemicals giant Grupo IDESA) Tecolutla project.
