Welcome to the MandaLore Podcast! Join Siber Wren and D. Vizsla each week as they board the Razor Crest to follow all that's happening on Disney+ Star Wars shows!

We'll break down what happened, where we think it's going next, and respond to feedback on every episode!
This is it! The finale of Maul Shadow Lord!
Not letting us take a moment since Vader appeared out of the fog, the fight immediately begins and the episode never lets up for a second after that. This is all out Vader. This is how powerful he was at his peak. This is Anakin in unbridled menace. And it was AWESOME!
Our group of the Lawsons, Devon, Master Daki and Two Boots, along with Vario, can barely stay ahead of Vader and the Inquisitors trying to get to the ship that Dryden Vos brought to rescue them. It's a race for survival, and not everyone makes it.
As we've seen before, the tragic loss of someone dear to them, causes a Jedi to lose their control, and that's when the darkness takes over. And Maul perfectly orchestrates Devon's fall to his side.
It's action packed. It's edge of your seat. It's terrifying. It's dramatic. This is the finale of Maul Shadow Lord!

It's the penultimate episode of Maul Shadow Lord! The one before the finale and man oh man was it a doozie!! That cliffhanger was breathtaking!
We're excited about this one as it perfectly shows fantastic chase sequences, fight scenes, and tension filled action! The inquisitors are hot on their tails as Maul, Master Daki, Devon, Rylee and Lawson are trying to flee the planet and the Empire, but they can't get away and must face them in one of the best lightsaber fighting we have ever seen. Maul takes tragic losses as he watches his allies go down one by one, and barely gets away.
This is the Empire Strikes Back of the series, as the bad guys take the victory for the time being.
Buckle up, here we go!

What do you call the penulitimate episode to the penultimate episode? The prepenultimate episode? That's what this one is, definitely the big setup for what's coming in the next two finale episodes!
We have everyone on the run. Maul trying to get away from the Inquisitors and back to his people. The Lawsons, Devon and Daki trying to get away from the Empire. It's a tense chase sequence all the way through!
But we also see Maul really suffering from his fears of abandonment and betrayal. The same weaknesses he's suffered his whole life. It's plagued him. It's ate away at his sanity. It's crippled him when he needs to be strong.
We are seeing just how much of a tragic story Maul has lived through. And it helps us understand him all the more. But this is not a redemption story. It's just giving so much depth to a villain that most usually don't get, and that's why this show is so great!

It's as if this is Maul's own personal version of The Empire Strikes Back! He loses almost everything in this episode as the Empire closes in and his team is dropping like flies, and his temporary allies abandon him. What's a former Sith Lord to do? Not only that, but his droid parts are faultering, and he feels the pain, limiting his fighting abilities, and the Inquisitors take advantage.
This is not how he planned things.

Stakes are rising fast!
Marrow shows up uninvited at the Lawson apartment, and he's not interested in appetizers! Lookout! Yikes!
The light saber duels in this one are simply stunning. Lots of action and lots of great character moments, as we see the group paired off, with Lawson running with Master Daki, while Devon tries to protect Rylee.
This is what Star Wars is all about, in one of the best episodes so far!

The Empire has landed. And it's not good for the citizens of Janix. Nor is it even good for the police. Interrogations begind. Answers are demanded. And if you don't give them what they want, or is satisfactory, well, you are taken away...or as they like to say, been relocated.
Maul's window for escape is narrowing, but he wants to get close to Devon first before he loses this opportunity to turn her to the darkside.
Time is running out. Will he get to her? Or will the Empire intervine?

Happy Star Wars Day!! May the 4th be with you all!
Well this is a first. We actually, by the schedule, are releasing an episode ON Star Wars Day! Woo Hoo! Let's celebrate!
And what an episode it was to get to talk about. As we say in the show, the tension of this one can be cut with a light saber..wow!
Maul faces down Lawson and offers him a deal. Maul faces Master Eeko and offers him a deal. Do we see a pattern here? Truly, when you think about it, his offers are pretty good, and one might be on the smart side of things to take the offer.
We also get one amazing light saber duel! They've really stepped it up for this one with their fight scenes, and it's a sight to behold.

Maul is working his manipulation on Devon by first inviting her to a tea party, and when she violently refuses, he says he can work with her anger too, and challenges her to a fight. Through frustration of not being able to do a thing against him, Devon gets angry and begins slipping down the slippery slope into darkness....just as he has forseen. And where have we heard that before?

Ahhhh.....Asajj Ventress.
Do we even have to say anything? She's back. That's all that matters.
One of the coolest characters is back with not quite a vengeance, as her story takes a different path than what you may have last seen her in Clone Wars...maybe you saw the Bad Batch and wondered why she was so different...maybe you read the book Dark Disciple and know her story, and maybe only then do you know that she underwent one of the biggest transformations in Star Wars...either way, Asajj is on a new path, where she finds herself reluctantly helping people, and in this case, a lost young Jedi looking for help to get to where he's going.
Asajj is back, and this is her new story. And it's just the beginning....

Back when he was a kid trying to survive on the streets of Duro with his best friend Niro, circumstances force them down separate paths, one the road to darker deeds, and one the path of a lighter calling, serving the law.
It's a classic, yet tragic showdown of two old friends, and the sad outcome for Cad Bane.

Well, we've come to the end of yet another Star Wars show. Andor wraps up the story leading up to Rogue One and A New Hope, and it does it in style unseen in Star Wars storytelling. Depth of characters, depth of plot, and depth of intrigue. This is how it's supposed to be.
The acting is unparalleled. Every character meant something. Every moment was felt.

It all culminates to these moments. Everything we witnessed in season 1, and everything so far in season 2, all leads to what happens in these three episodes!
Syril breaks under the tension of what's going on around him and all that he didn't know, and he blames Dedra for it all. Meanwhile she's struggling to make her own decision, follow Syril and his plight to help the townspeople of Ghorman, or stick to her orders and help the Empire devastate the planet.
Andor takes a daring mission to save Mon Mothma after she gives a speech making her public enemy #1 as she labels Emperor Palpatine a monster to the galaxy. Together they race to flee Coruscant and it's a tense filled chase sequence!
The rebellion is setting up on Yavin 4, tying everything in to Rogue One and A New Hope, and it's full of nostalgia.

Halfway through Andor already!
It's one year later, and we catch up to Casian and Bix hiding out on Coruscant in a safe house, and their relationship has rekindled.
Syril and Dedra are working together on a new mission at Ghorman, with Syril going undercover to send back intel about the rebel uprising there.
Meanwhile, Mon Mothma is in dire situations trying to get votes to go against the Empire, and also having to party with Krennic himself over some historical artifacts.
Tensions are rising everywhere.

Skeleton Crew Fans!

The race is on. Who can get to Kalnacca first on Khofar....Mae and Qimir intent on killing him, or the Jedi trying to save him?
Apparently walking through heavily dense forests can make you think on things, as we see Mae come to a new decision that she doesn't need to do the master's bidding anymore with her sister being alive. This of course angers the master as he finishes the job for her, striking down Kalnacca who appears to not have even put up a fight! And with that, he is revealed to the Jedi, but with a flick of his hand, throws Osha aside and slams the Jedi with a Force wave! His power is something they are not prepared for.

The end is here.
The Bad Batch has come to a close. An emotional conclusion to a three season journey.
It is always hard to say goodbye to a show that really gets to you. One that has characters you fall in love with. And the Bad Batch was just that. A found family of brothers, a sister, and all sorts of adventure. But there's sunlight in the sky, instead of a broody, overcast day, as the team survives their final battle...and completes their last mission. Save Omega. Save their brothers. And stop Hemlock.
It all worked out ok in the end. And so maybe we don't bid farewell, maybe it's see ya later instead...as we watch Omega fly away to join the rebellion as a pilot. While Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair get to enjoy their retirement on Pabu...always at the ready...for when Omega may just need their help...one...more...time....

The penultimate episode of the final season for the Bad Batch.
It's always tough to get through this one as you know it's almost the end.
We get all the setup we need for the finale as the team makes it to Tantiss to find Omega, but they're split up with Echo stuck on the inside having to disguise himself as a Storm Trooper, and Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair crash to the surface with Rampart in tow!
The finale is next, and the series will wrap it all up. What happens to the team? Who survives? Who gets rescued? And where do they go after all this is over? These are the questions we hope to get answers to when it all comes to a close...

Holy intense, edge of your seat build up this week, as we wait with baited breath to see if the Batch can make it to that shuttle that's headed for Tantiss! It's a nailbiter, Mission Impossible style, and doesn't let you breathe for those final moments.
Meanwhile, Omega is planning her second escape "Toy Soldiers" style as she rallies the kids to get ready after she finds tunnels behind her cell wall!
We're down to two episodes left after this week....and then it will all be over. Where does the Batch go from here? Do they survive this mission? We'll have to wait and see...

The galaxy is a lot darker tonight....
In Identity Crisis, The Bad Batch goes into some gloomy territory with the stories of this double episode, as we see just what Hemlock is up to in his experiments. Kids are being kept as specimens, used for their blood and treated like lab rats.
Emerie Karr gets promoted to Chief Science Officer, and finds out what Nala Se was working on...or who rather once she gains access to the vault. She isn't comfortable with the situation, but feels powerless to do anything.
Moving into Point of No Return, we are met with the most tense episode yet, as Pabu is invaded when the operative finds out where Omega is hiding! He brings a full assault on the peaceful island and will stop at nothing to capture her.
Things do no end well, as we see the team fail in keeping Omega safe, and once again she becomes a prisoner of Hemlock. How will the team find her now?

She's BAAACK!!
It's all about Asajj Ventress this week, as one of the greatest characters in Star Wars makes her return, and gets tangled up with our team as she delivers some intel on why the Empire would be after Omega.
Through some training, we see a new relationship develop between Asajj and Omega, and trust is formed after witnessing Asajj use the force to calm down a massive sea creature!
The team also learns that they can't really handle a single force user, no matter how good their fighting skills are, and it's a humbling experience for them!
Asajj Ventress is back. And it's the best thing we've seen in a long while. Will she be back for more? OR was this a lead off into a possible new series for her, or maybe even the next Tales of the Jedi? Fingers are crossed this isn't the last we see of Asajj!

Man it's been a long while waiting for them to return, and we get a triple helping to start off with!
Omega is at the hidden base on Tantiss, being forced to follow a strict routine of sample gathering and other duties, while Crosshair is continually being experimented on. With Nala Se's help, she looks for a way to escape, but won't leave without Crosshair.
Meanwhile, Hunter and Wrecker are still trying to find intel on where they could be, and have come up empty time and again. Approximately five months have passed, and Hunter is getting anxious to get to Omega and he rushes to find answers.

The calm before the storm.....is usually how it goes....but not in this pre-finale episode!
Baylan and Shin catch up to Ezra and Sabine, and it's guns and sabers blazing!
Although Baylan decides it's time to let Shin go her own way, and is about to leave when Ahsoka comes tumbling in from the sky for the inevitable rematch, but once again, he proves he's more powerful, and only HuYang arriving just in time allows Ahsoka to make her getaway.
Ezra shows us he's still got Force game and refuses to use a lightsaber, going all Monk style on the troopers. But he and Sabine quickly get outnumbered until Ahsoka runs into the rescue!
Meanwhile, Thrawn sees this as an opportunity to get ahead, with the time gained from this skirmish, and starts gathering his troops to prepare to leave Peridea!
What will happen in the finale? Can our Rebels catch them in time? Or will they be stranded there with no way home?

Din takes Grogu to Mandalore to find out if it's poisoned and unihabitable. But he finds out it's totally fine, and they start exploring, only to run into danger they weren't prepared for, a hidden trap! Din sends Grogu off to get Bo-Katan, and once she arrives to rescue him, it's sheer awesomeness watching her go to town on the surviving creatures!
Bo then decides to escort Din to the living waters, resolute in her mind that it's all just folklore, that is until she witnesses the Mythosaur for herself laying in waiting under the surface!!! The dank farrik Mythosaur is alive and real!!

Picking up sometime after we last saw them in Book of Boba Fett, Din is desperate to prove himself to the Armorer and her clan, and sets out to see if Mandalore is poisoned still. But first he stops by to see an old friend in Greef Karga, and tries to repair IG-11. From there on his way to Mandalore, he pays a visit to Bo-Katan to see if she'll go with him, but she has nothing but depressing fallout to welcome him.
His redemption won't come easy, but we know Mando can pull it off, with Grogu in tow.

And so are we with our first discussion based on the premiere!
Upon collecting payment for his bounties, the Mandalorian goes seeking more jobs from the guild, only to find out there isn't much available...except, for one under the table score if he's willing.
Our first episode follows him across three planets, searching for the target, while fending off creatures, other hunters, and even making temporary friends.
