When it was released, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly was universally praised for its unflinching look at the real-life struggles of a man suffering from "locked-in" syndrome, trapped in his own body. 2005's Fantastic Four was such a hit that its creators wasted no time getting a second movie into theaters, leading to 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, originally released on June 15.
