Welcome to The Co-Create Cafe. In this episode, I talk with Kayla Haber-Goldstein about her journey to find the answers to her questions about Judaism. Kayla grew up in a religious family in Israel and after the birth of her second child and a period of deep depression, she decided she needed to understand Judaism if she was going to keep practicing it. Kayla has written a book with her no-filter questions, and answers she has found by studying a diverse selection of Torah wisdom. We speak about people’s fears around religious communities, what could be holding us back from seeking to understand Judaism, and how to navigate relationships when two people are on different levels of observance.
