In our Bible study, we saw that Daniel had been seeking God and God’s messenger came to Daniel and kept saying Daniel God loves you very much. You could read it yourself in Daniel 10:11 & 19.
The messenger came when Daniel sought God. In these last days, instead of a messenger, God has chosen to speak to us by his Son Jesus, the word of God. If only you would read God’s word every time, you would know how much God loves you.

what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?
If not he would ask the enemy for conditions of peace.
This can be liking to God sitting down to count if 10,000 of his children can defeat the 20,000 of the devils children. Christians are not efficiently using the power in Jesus’ name to defeat the enemy at this moment and so the devil has negotiated conditions of Peace…
Mass shooting- is a condition of peace Abortion, suicide, corruption, and all the evils going on are conditions of peace, just because the God’s armies on earth cannot yet match the armies of satan.
If you are a born again child of God, I want you to rise up today. Lay aside every sin that easily besets you. Be strengthen so that when next God is checking his armies, we will be more than able to defeat the enemy and Jesus’s kingdom will begin!!!

We have the United Kingdom and their rulers, we have the Kings, Queens, the Royal family, The Presidents in America, great Kings in African countries, Australia etc.
But Daniel 7:27
Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.’
Who are the Holy People of the Most High? Those who are born again and live like Jesus Christ on this earth.
You and I that are God’s Holy people will become the Royal family, the heavenly celebrities when Jesus’ kingdom begins and Jesus will be Our King. The question is how are you preparing yourself to be a part of this Kingdom?
If you want to be in the US President’s cabinet, you need to understand and live by the US constitution, If you want to be a part of God’s kingdom, you need to intimately know Jesus the word God. John 17:3

Being born again means to be born of water and the Spirit. We are born of water when God gives birth to the water of life or new life in us. We are born of the Spirit when God gives birth to this Holy Spirit in us.
John 7:38-39 says “He that believeth on me… out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Here, Jesus spake of the HolySpirit, which we that believe on him should receive.
John 4:14 says that “but whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst;
but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
The Holy Spirit therefore activates this living water to flow out of us like a fountain.
What is this fountain? According to Psalms 1:3 this is the fruit of the Spirit and the evidence of the presence of the Holy Spirit. We begin to burst out with love, joy, goodness, faith and other fruit stated in Galatians 5.

Nicodemus asked Jesus: how can a man be born again? In John 3:5, Jesus answered, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
What does it mean to be born of water?
We all have been born physically by our parents many years ago.
The Bible refers to the life we had at birth as the old man or old life.
When God chooses to make us His children, He crucifies our old life or old man.
“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” Romans 6:6 KJV
Then Jesus gives us the water of life, the new man or new life. Then it will be said that we have been born of water. We resurrect we the new life in us.
Revelation 22:17 (TLB) says anyone who is thirsty, let him come and drink the water of life free of charge.

2 PETER 2:7-8 God rescued Lot, a righteous man distressed by the depraved conduct of the people around him. (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)
Christians are living in depraved world. You might use social media for your business or just to connect with people but end up vexing your righteous soul with the filthy pictures and acts on social media.
Eph 5:26 says Jesus makes us Holy and cleanses us by the washing with water through the word. So we need to cleanse our souls everyday with God’s word.
When you read God’s word and pray, you refill the source of the water faucet that cleanses your soul from the filthy pictures around you. Since we are constantly cleansing our souls, let us constantly read God’s word.

ach man has a glory, but you need to come to God to actualize your glory at the right time because that glory can kill you when it is realized at the wrong time. When you see people famous today through a means that is not Godly, they were supposed to be famous anyway if they remained with God but maybe not at that time.
If you take your glory to the devil, you exchange your soul for what was yours in the first place. The devil cannot give you any glory, that glory and fame was yours anyway. Yes, the devil can speed up the timing of your glory at the price of your soul.
The devil told Jesus, you see this beautiful world, all these would be yours if only you bowed down to me. That was a lie because Jesus is the owner of the whole world but God had not yet given it to him yet. In John 13:3 God eventually gave it to Him.
Because we cannot see with our naked eyes all the blessings, talents, inspiration and fame that God has given to us, and because God’s timing is not as fast as we would like, we trade our glory for our souls. As a child of God, do not give your glory to the devil, give it to God and he will bring your glory and all that is yours to reality at the right time.

Last Bible study, we continued our study of John the Baptist
Matthew 11:18-19 “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.”” One lesson here is that Different personalities will preach the word of God but don’t condemn anyone. Accept the word of Gods in their message and leave it there.
The preacher might be a messenger to someone with their similar lifestyle who can relate with that personality.
Wisdom is proved right by her deeds. As long as the message is in line with the word of God and the messenger is bearing fruit of the spirit do not condemn the messenger. #Bytheirfruit #you #shall #know #them.

In the Bible Study, we learnt how John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit and how he was the person to prepare the way for the Messiah. Luke 1:1-80
We were led into John 6:56: Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in them.
How can we eat Jesus’ Flesh and drink His blood.
John 1:14 says:
The word became flesh and dwelled among us…
The word became a human being having flesh and blood. So, when we read the word and do all that is in it we are eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking his blood. We are eating parts of the human being called Jesus. And when that word gets into us it becomes flesh and blood in us.
Dwelling in God’s presence is the best way to recognize God’s voice. God speaks to us:
- when we fellowship with Him Luke 10:41-42
- through His word 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- through dreams Job 33:14-18

People are looking for proof that we are true Christians and children of God. One proof is not enough as we saw from Elijah's relationship with the Widow of Zarephath. We have to be consistent in proving our allegiance to Jesus.
The best form of proof is victory over sin. It is better than having the gift of healing, anointing to work miracles or the power to raise people from the dead. We should have constant victory over sin and everyday temptation and this is the best proof that we are for Jesus.
Here we saw how Elijah maintained God's presence every day and God became his ever-present help in time of need Psalm 46:1. We also saw that the only thing God wants from us is our will. God wants us to be willing to love Him, willing to obey Him and surrender our will totally to Him.
Elijah was confident in God's word. He proved himself to be a true man of God and God was always in his thoughts. Psalm 10: 4 - In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
Knowing God is the only needful thing for Christian service. Luke 10:38-42, John 12:1-3, Mark 3:13-15, Hosea 6:6
