Experimental Radio is an effort at using the amazing, yet still limited, caustic music app to create a primitive "q-sound" affect. The easiest way to explain is, in a mixer or app that allows you to bounce one track, with preferably one voice, say a single tom hit, onto 5 tracks. One track is panned hard left, the next quarter, a mid pan, then quarter right and hard right. You put a delay of say between 125 ms on one, then 250 on the other, etc... or at least I've done similar, though the exact numbers and positions I settled on I of course don't remember, and the caustic is something were I was not able to do this exact type of setup, which made the challenge more enticing. I had to use only my ears given the caustic weakness in multi-tracking in the way I mentioned. I hope this gives a good idea of how I am trying to create a 4 dimensional space and also the illusion that one of the voices on "experimental radio" sounds like it is coming from a place other than your speakers? Or at least I hope so? That is what my aim was, as well as to create a pleasant and chill piece of ambience :). Please do let me know if you hear the "illusion?"

Little homunculus is a sweet little piece that sounds very much like a space alien came into our dimension and created a type of music not heard by us mortals. I of course am the mortal alien that created the riff, and the picture of the cat in the corner reminded me of my old and familiar friend Lynxy, a dear friend cat that was with me in this world for 17 years.

Qwiet. Beautiful Days. is a little 8-bit Orchestral sequenced riff that is very pleasant and uplifting. There is a touch of sad in the intro, with an oboe style voice, and then it becomes very bright and clear. A beautiful day.
"When I think of You, I Miss You" is another wordless poem writ in music so the story and the feeling conveyed should be obvious to all, and still open enough to be unique to the listener, I would hope... This simply is a story of, there is someone you know, wnvr you think of them you miss them. Any more than that is simply the truth of you as you listen to this. Hope it is enjoyed, and that it would stir an echo, that though it could be sad, or not without it's sorrows, is good to feel; that is why I end the riff with triumph.
A poet needs to annihilate the bias and lie trapped in words. Wordless poetry, the universals of geometry as expressed in musical sound often allows us to imitate the physical organism and general plane of the existent field. This is part of my intent in pieces such as "When I think of You, I Miss You."
What did I imitate? listen to the notes. They are a little shortened. When we get choked up inside is what I repeat through out the piece. It is in the opening riff and stays through out, even the last off harmony on beat hit is a kind of reflection, but it has echo and delay, and acceptance and defiance, and not the complicatedness of the two bar intro :D.

While putting the graphic together I looked for images of my two Nemo`s and then saw some sheet music with the title "Guns and Paradise," which seemed particularly fitting as a point between both stories...

While thinking of a title for this piece a story came to me instead.
The title for the story is Surveillance Drone RR12.
As for the story, in brief, in the future there is constant Surveillance, to protect our loved ones. Robotics is now integrated with organic, and low rank Surveilance drones have a little bit of grey matter in them.
DroneRR12 gets damaged . A piece of brain from a man died who tried to save his loved ones, and got shot, is placed inside DroneRr12. Now the drone only wants to see his loved ones... nothing else. He starts up and leaves on his own path to see his family. He is found and turned off. The people in the future are left troubled by all the possibilities DroneRR12 represents, both the good and the bad.
This musical piece is DroneRR12`s flight to security.

The scene is first person, and you are the person. You wake up, you`re head on the console of a large spaceship, and you remember nothing. There are fires, there were explosions and something is wrong.

Chasing Rainbow Coloured Snow Bunnies Through Mountains of Snow is a composition, that as it came together for me, stirred up images of chasing rainbow coloured snow bunnies when my daughter was just three years old... I had told her all about the Rainbow coloured snow bunnies that were only around in winter and we would often go out to find great groups and bring them home to watch little bear on dvd or cbc and have hot chocolate... It is a frosty composition filled with fairies and dances in winter air :).

"There Is No Surface - There is No time - Outta Self Composition" is a restful and slow electronic composition sure to transport you to different dimensions in less than two minutes. When listening to it over and over in loop mode you might not come back, I know part of me is there still.

Junkies Waltz or Romancing The Needle is a fuzzy, lo-fi dope headed riff like a junkies crawl outta bed, looking for redemption... Guess I'm not a fan of wasted life :(
A very pleasant new age synth style ambient composition made to copy all the new age synth pieces I listened to while meditating in all the spaces I lived in during those thens.
A track suitable for post apocalyptic video production with a strong gothic feel... or at least I was trying to create a feel for a "New" kinda church organ "sound." It's a short piece and free :).

This is a very slow and sad piece titled Our Last Goodbye... for me it brings up images of two lovers who must say goodbye... i love you, i will miss you forever... they will never be together again, they don`t want to leave, and there is no choice. ♦♦♦

I often hear, modern tuning, with its middle A tuned to 440 hrtz is bad for organic structures, whereas 432 hrtz is good. Some folks can rly go on about, so look it up and see for yourself.
I made a couple of sine waves, and a square tooth, 1 sec in length, very simple. Loaded them up using the pcmsynth patch for caustic and ran them through some modular patches.

This short riff was one third done when I laid in the bassline synth patch in caustic, used the skreeeech preset with a few mods, and could hear Kraftwerk... happy day! :). I decided to call the finished piece Goodbye Kraftwerk... The greatest Krautrock band there was, a veritable Beatles of the whole Krautrock scene to be sure o.0. ♦♦♦

Some of my musical pieces can take me weeks to finish, others I finally toss, this one came together all in one day. I might fix it up a bit more but here is what I got so far.
I created the off beat melody by moving two notes off by a quarter note on the "repeat" and tension builds by having a long thick delay on the main drum... it has an infectious beat and I hope it is enjoyed!

Little Bird On A Window Sill is simple short and sweet, with a nice backing organ working simple chords. The main riff uses the ksssynth module in the caustic app with the soft pluck setting, and I run that through three modular patches and one vocoder.
As for the supporting graphic, I like Mr. Edgar Allan Poe, and he liked all birds, not so much Ravens as just simple little song birds in the morning. A simple guitar based ambient track that paints a story with two sides, and cause of that I titled it You Broke Your Promise To Me, I Kept Mine for You.
She waits for me / I love her so, is a riff that I hope can conjure up images of 21st century love with its sadness, poignancy and defiance... The backing image is of course in a city and there are many reasons to wait... I also hope that this makes you sad, no words, not one is needed, and you dk why you're sad... I won't tell you, but I will let you know, it is ok, they both do truly love each other :).
