I’m “Grandma Joelee”, and I tell Bible stories for kids and apologetics for kids, each connected to the Gospel for kids in a way they can understand. Parents have told me their children enjoy them, and they use them in the car, when the children go to bed, and sometimes even as part of their homeschooling. Originally made for my small grandson, but now listened to by kids in all 50 states and downloaded in over 150 countries around the world.

This audio tells what a prophet is. It also tells what a false prophet is. It gives examples from the Bible and the criteria of a prophet from the Old and New Testaments. Tells that Jesus is the greatest prophet and fulfills many prophecies at His first Coming, so we can know that He will fulfill the prophecies that say He is coming again. In this short audio I tell some things from the Bible about what heaven is like. I tell of the joyful things about being there and how it is our real home. I tell what dying is and talk about the body and spirit. But I do those in a rather matter-of-fact way, not wanting to frighten small children. I also tell of our resurrection and the New Heavens and New Earth, too. I stress the happiness of being with the Lord and our friends and family who are already in heaven. I tell that this is a hope and encouragement -even when we're sad-, but we also important work to do now like sharing the Gospel and helping people. The Second Coming is also talked about, but I avoid any controversial subjects such as the timing of the Rapture and the Millennium. That is left up to the parents. This tells about the 7 original Feasts of the Lord as given to Moses plus the 2 man-made feasts in the Bible, Hanukkah -New Testament, Feast of Lights- and Purim -in the book of Esther-. This has many of the details of the 7 original Feasts that were told about before in --B03 - God's Holidays-, but this new audio includes more details about the Second Comings from the Fall Feasts, givng a pre-millenial point of view -after Christ returns, He reigns for 1000 years before the Eternal State-. --God's Holidays- told of the Second Coming in a general way and only had the original 7 Feasts of the Lord.- In this audio, Christ's First Coming is presented in detail in the Spring Feasts, and the Second Coming is presented in detail from the Fall Feasts and from the 2 other Feasts, too. This tells the interesting story of a city, Jerusalem, the city where the Lord says He put His name. -It tells the story of Jerusalem from Genesis to Revelation. -Aimed at children about 6-12, but adults may well enjoy it as well. Of course, the Gospel is included. --This is one of only two of my audios that are pre-millennial. I've carefully labeled these. Otherwise I've tried to avoid any controversial topics, such as end-times, modes of baptism, spiritual gifts, etc. I leave that up to the parents, as I want to get the Bible stories and the Gospel to as many children as possible.
It may be hard for some children to understand what it means to be saved and how we can be saved. This Gospel audio answers questions that children may have about salvation. This tells of the life of Aaron using only details that are given in the Bible. Includes his family background from the time when he was 3 years old his brother Moses was born up through his part in the Exodus and the time in the Wilderness -- including the golden calf incident. This audio solves what I call a Bible puzzle. It tells the story of when the Pharisees were trying to trick Jesus, Jesus asked them, -Who is the Christ-- When they answered, -The Son of David,- Jesus then asked them -How is it then, that King David in one of his Psalms when speaking by the Holy Spirit calls the Christ -Lord'-- The Pharisees didn't give an answer. This audio gives this background, and then the children and I solve the puzzle. It teaches the children to think about the Bible and shows that Jesus is both fully God and fully man. This was originally done as a letter to a little boy who had asked this question. After writing him the letter I thought that probably some other children might have the same question, so I enlarged it into this 8 minute audio. Metaphors are sometimes hard for children to grasp. In this audio I give several other examples that a child could more easily understand and then talk about them. -For instance, -Have you every been called -Honey'--- Then I explain about the Lamb of God and also how Jesus is also called the Lion of the tribe of Judah. This starts with his parents and his birth, then going through his being in the bulrushes, living with Pharoah's daughter, working with his father-in-law's sheep, freeing the children of Israel from Egypt, some of the many adventures in the wilderness, and ending with his death on the mountain top. Of course, the Gospel is included. It's aimed at children 4-10 years old, though adults may also enjoy it.
This is the story of the life of Timothy, the young evangelist and missionary, telling only what is found in the Bible itself. It tells the little we know of his childhood then of his travels with the apostle Paul. The Gospel is included. For children 4-10 years old, but adults may also enjoy it.
This is a purely positive yet very subtile pro-life-pro-male-female-morality audio. I don't even mention the possibility of the opposing -wrong-- views, as it's for very young children. In it I simply tell the children a lot of positive truths in an interesting way. I show that a person -male or female- is always a person and is the same person whether not yet born, growing up, or in the resurrection. The idea is that if they are filled with the truth of God, then when they later hear something wrong, this will help them recognize that it isn't real or what God likes or says. I ran this by 3 other mothers, and they all liked it and said there was nothing that would be objectionable for young children. Aimed a children 4-10 years of age, though adults my enjoy it as well. Of course, the Gospel is tied into it. This shorter audio tells about the mighty men of David and connects to the mightiest Man of all, the Lord Jesus Christ. -Rebekah, a Beautiful Bride for Isaac- tells the story of Rebekah from her viewpoint while not changing or adding to Biblical details. The whole story of Abraham's servant going up to get a bride for Isaac is given -again, from Rebekah's viewpoint-. It then tells how Rebekah became the ancestress of all the Jews through her grandson Jacob. The Gospel is tied in to it through her being an ancestress of King David through Judah and, therefore, the ancestress Mary, making Rebekah the ancestress of the Lord Jesus Christ- Though aimed at children 4 - 10 years of age, both adults and children will enjoy it.
-Gideon, Great by God's Power- is the story of Gideon, a judge of Israel. It begins with his hiding from the Midianites while threshing his wheat then covers his destruction of the altar of Baal, then his gathering an army which God reduces to only 300 men. Through the Lord's help this tiny army defeats the enormous Midianite army by using clever tactics. This ends with Gideon's refusal to be made king of Israel. Of course, the Gospel is fitted in. It's exciting and fast moving and is aimed at children 4 - 10 years old, though adults may well enjoy it, also.
This audio tells what the Bible tells us about the life of Mary, starting with her engagement to Joseph and ending with Acts 1-14 where she is with the disciples and other women praying in an upper room after Jesus ascended to heaven. In this audio we pretend that we go up onto a hill above the camp of the children of Israel in the wilderness. There we observe some activity and then wonder about the camp and how it's set up. What are they picking up off the ground so early in the morning- Is there a certain order to the camp- How do they know when to move camp- Is there any order to when they move- As we pretend, a very agreeable Jewish man sees us and comes up and talks to us and answers our questions. I make it very clear that we are only pretending, and I only use Biblical facts in the man's answers. This is a fun way to learn about the camp in the wilderness. It's aimed at children 5-12 years old, but adults may well enjoy it as well -and ever possible learn from it--. Of course, the Gospel is included.
In this I describe the amazing heavenly creatures, the cherubim and seraphim, using only what we are told in the Bible. I also tell what the Bible says they do, though I'm sure they do much more- I think your children -and you-- will find it very interesting. As always, the Gospel is given. This is aimed at children 5 - 12 years old, but adults would enjoy it, too. At the end of the PDF is a short chart I made showing the details and Bible references for both heavenly creatures.
This is a respectful pretend visit to the Lord's Tabernacle out in the wilderness as -you and I- pretend that we are able to go back about 3500 years in time. This is a fun way to teach children about the Tabernacle of the Lord. First we examine the fence, then we stand in the doorway of the Tabernacle courtyard. Of course, we don't go inside of it, but we reverently look into the courtyard, and 2 Levites and a priest come by and kindly explain things to us -- how it was built and what it is inside of it. This audio is full of our conversations with each other. But at both the beginning and the end I make it clear that we are only pretending. Of course, the Gospel is included. The exciting story of Deborah where she goes with Barak to fight Sisera. It tells how the small Hebrew army won -with the Lord's help-- against the enormous enemy army and of Sisera's ignominious defeat by Jael. The gospel is included. For children 4-10 years old, though adults may also enjoy it.
This tells all the Bible has on this mysterious man, Melchizedek. Then it goes on to show how Christ is a priest -after the order of Melchizedeck- and some of what that means, making comparisons between the two and showing that, though similar, that Christ is much the superior. At the end of the PDF is a short chart that shows these comparisons. It's short, only 20 minutes. Of course, the Gospel is given. Children -6-12 years old- and adults will enjoy this.
This tells the exciting story of how a Bedouin shepherd boy found the Dead Sea Scrolls while looking for a lost goat. Then I tell how very important this find is, how it shows that God's Word hasn't changed in over 2000 years -- we can trust the Bible. The Isaiah Scroll is used to present the Gospel. This covers what is known about her from when she was a little girl watching her baby brother in a basket in the river through her song after the crossing of the Red Sea, her jealousy of her younger brother in the wilderness and its consequences, until her death at a ripe old age. This is a video in which I talk while making a timeline of the Bible, step by step. I've taught this timeline to my own children, to a children's Sunday School, and to two different women's Sunday School classes. I myself have found it extremely helpful in remembering the chronology of the Bible and in being able to -place- people and events into the Bible history. It is 31 minutes long and should be of interest -and understandable- to children about 7 years old and older and also to adults. It presents a 6,000 history of earth, but if you disagree with this, this video could still be used from Abraham on. This is a topic which I avoid on my audios, so parents who hold other views will feel comfortable playing them for their children. Something new for me--- I've done a very short video -51 seconds-- on how to very easily make a Resurrection Day Cake. Our family has been doing this for years, and I thought you might want to start this Easter tradition with your family as well, to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus.----We use it as the centerpiece for our Easter dinner, and it is a reminder all during the meal that -He is not here-- He is risen--- Hallelujah------------Here's how to make a Resurrection Day Cake-----1- Buy or make a cake.--2- Dig out a -cave- in the side.--3- Put a cookie or peppermint pattie as a -stone- next to the -empty tomb-.--4- Decorate or not as you wish -get the kids involved--.--5- Cut the cake from the back in order to keep the -empty tomb- as long as possible.----You can just leave the cake as is. But I like to put fresh flowers from my back yard on top, a sort of picture of new life from the earth. After I told my young church mothers about this, one family put knocked down little green army men for the guards- Another folded a stick of gum and put in the -cave- for the folded grave clothes- -I'll bet the kids were in on this- But I never went this far------Please comment if you make a Resurrection Day Cake.----Enjoy--

Here are 22 familiar Sunday School songs that go through the Bible storyline chronologically. Then we show the treasures that we receive when we trust in the Good News, including God, salvation, hope, truth, joy, a big family, love, and others. Presents positive apologetics without bringing up any doubts for little children that Christ really died, was really buried, the tomb was really empty, and He really rose physically and really appeared to people afterwards.
