If you've been wondering what the meaning behind “ATM" crew is, it stands for African Trap Music. The new kids on the block have changed the usual hip hop sound and movement to make it more appealing to their new age fans. This collection is made up of rapper Emtee, Saudi, Sjava, Ruff, Krazie, Ranks and G. The crew worked on a documentary last year which gave fans the chance to see how these artists create their sound, from the studio sessions, to the writing process and especially that signature production.

Museeq IQ first burst onto the music scene back in 2008 with his debut vocal contribution on the High Society release of DJ Sndara, which was released under Mayonie Productions. IQ wrote and recorded chart toping single “La la la” for DJ Sndara’s album. Eight years since the release of “La La La” and IQ still receives huge love for the track. The track also won him serious respect in the local industry not only as an artist of substance but as a songwriter to watch out for.
His new single, Mantshingilane, few years later Yanga is still making waves in the hip-hop industry. After the song debuted on radio charts, it was clear that Yanga is here to stay. His first single, Awuth’Yam – was released in October 2014 and featured AKA and Kid X – was also another club banger.His talent proves just how mature his sound is.

Now heralded as arguably hip-hop's foremost female DJ, she's made a point of not only fortifying her position, but also delving into a host of other roles. Her latest transition has seen her move into music production. The first foray in this space came earlier in the year with the release of her debut single, Connect, featuring Nasty C, Rouge and Kwesta. She leaving in the next few days for Coachella.
B3nchMarQ is a South African hip hop duo from Pretoria West, West View. The group consists of Tkay [T.K Mathiba] and P.Jay [P.J.S Mataboge]. In 2011, B3nchMarQ gained popularity on the social networks when they re- leased their hit single, “Utlwa”. Tkay and P.Jay were then recognized as both artists and producers. Both went to the same Music Production and Sound Engineering College.
