Silent owl takes to flight
Smaller feet run underground
Dreamers reach for something new

Clouds bring a shadowed ground
But in human hearts, darkness is found
In fear we lose our inner sight
Love takes cover underground
Modern city orange lights
Bring darkness to the gloom
But the stars are a light for you

Morning stars bring thoughts to mind
But dreams are woven in the night
Leave fear behind at street-light’s door
And wonder with the stars tonight

Wisdom’s path – alight with stars for you

No words can I find
To capture your face
No phrase or rhyme
Can paint your beauty
For a reader’s eyes
To embrace
How can I say ‘Love’
this light, divine ...
And even closely touch
How closely
I touch you in my heart
You may be near or far

This flame burns like a star

Beamed down to earth, so beautiful
Now she walks in time, unforgettable
When your heart is touched; earth angel
Her eyes clear and bight, aura so blue
Her inner mind sees the heart of you

carry fire without burns
and so we ramble down the road
time brings us on home

dazed and confused

the starman hanging around to stay
and we can be heroes and watch that man
surrender with two hearts into the quicksand

his broken home breaking him inside
trafficked girl screams every night
she may never return home
food-bank ‘shopping’; a modern plight
the poor to the wealthy; an irksome blight
stepping around the woman in the snow
where did our humanity go
hands of light warm the street soup stand
courageous flight to a broken land
beliefs and histories can distort the view
but there's a light within me and you
if we see the soul-full; light, within
a new dawn for your heart begins
let our hands of light find compassion's glove

A dappled path through a tunnel of trees
Sweet honey due, upon the breeze
The beauty of all mother nature sees

Wise old badger
Cunning fox
Sunlit eye
