Like countless other single women, I am on a journey to be found by THE ONE. As an author, I’ve been surprised to meet so many who’ve experienced a similar story to mine and who can relate as I’ve candidly shared my failed attempts to find the one. As a single woman, I understand how it feels when the possibility of marriage is looking more and more unlikely. And as a Christian, I admit that I haven’t always done relationships right. Many times, I did not honor God or His Word. But that has changed. Today, like so many of you, I no longer want to compromise and only want God’s best for my love life. So join me step out in faith and earnestly seek God and the truths in His Word for this area of our lives! Today’s topic is how do you know if he's the one?
Throughout my life, at different times, I've asked different people, both men and women who have found their person and then marriage, "how did they know that the person was “the one” for them?"
And more often that not, the response without fail was “Oh you just know!” You’ll know, that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know.

How often have you questioned where are all the good quality men? I once subscribed to the notion that there weren't any good ones left, especially when I reached my 30s and I was still unwed. It seemed like more and more the good ones were already taken. As a Christian it became even more challenging when the lack of quality single Christian men were slim pickings in the church and they were always outnumbered by a plethora of women whose biological clocks were ticking away.
So where are they? Where do we go to meet them? Our answers must be found in the pages of God's Word. And it tells us how to put ourselves out there.

The world would have us believe that we know ourselves best therefore we can make the most important decisions on our own, especially where the opposite sex is concerned. I, for one, never questioned if any guys were Godsent, I just went with it. After I became a Christian, more and more I began to wonder if people, including men, were sent into my life by God. When asked about the reason for my singleness - I used to say that I was waiting on God. But after some time when the one still hadn’t arrived; I began to wonder if God was waiting on me. And then after many more years went by without the fulfillment of the promise of marriage. I began to wonder if God and I were waiting on the one I would one day call my husband.
