In this episode, we are hosting two lovely grandparents, one from America and the other from India. They have never met, never known of each other and yet their stories run parallel! Things have certainly changed over the years and they have witnessed the process that has brought about life as we know it! Listen as we dive into their beautiful life stories.
In this episode, we have Bianca, president of KCL's meditation society, exploring what self care means for her. She'll talk about her meditation journey and share what impact it has had in her life and how we can get started on our own journeys too.
In this episode, we are going to explore our interpretations of self-love and resilience and how we strive towards this in our day to day lives. In this episode of the positive peers podcast we are going to explore the relationship between food and mood both from a nutritional, and scientific perspective and also in the context of culture and personal memories. For this discussion, we will be joined by students from ‘King’s College London’s Nutrition and Dietetics’ and ‘Foodie’ societies.
We understand this can be a difficult topic for some to listen to because of difficult relations with food. We will be discussing aspects of a balanced diet, how we can implement this into our life, and how food interacts with our different cultures and memories. If you feel this may be difficult to listen to you can listen to one of our other podcasts and if you need support you can get in touch with Beat, UK at 0808 801 0811.
In this episode, the positive peers will talk about their experiences as first year students at university. Each peer comes from a different background with different experiences, expectations, and viewpoints on university. We hope that this candid talk brings a few laughs but also helps answer your questions on what it is like to start this new and sometimes challenging phase of life.
