Welcome to the show! Vessel of Life is an open format podcast that features a variety of topics. Famous writer, Augustus Hare, once said “Thought is the wind, knowledge the sail, and humankind the vessel.” Living in this complex existence often feels like sailing across the ocean, especially when we get in our heads. It’s full of rough tides, and beautiful sunsets. Vessel of Life is a journey across the sea of existence. Let’s set sail.

Welcome back to the show! I wanted to make this episode more chill and open format by discussing a variety of topics. A lot more open format episodes will be happening in the future, as well as the inspirational/life advice type of episodes as before. In this one I wanted to discuss my opinions on Kanye West, how I am as a marching band teacher, and what it's been like getting back into running.

Welcome back to the show! As always, I greatly appreciate you for setting sail with me across the ocean of our minds. In this episode, I wanted to talk about enjoying your younger years. Anywhere between the age of 18 to about 28. These years are known to be some of the best years of our lives where we learn the most lessons and make the most memories that can help us through the dark moments in our lives. Thinking back on good times and experiences can really help when you're feeling down. Looking to make the best of your youth? Are you a college student who feels like you're trapped by your studies. Feel like you're halfway through your twenties and all you've done is work endlessly? No worries.

Let's set sail.

Welcome back to the show! As always, I greatly appreciate you for setting sail with me across the ocean of our minds. This episode is a little special and features an excerpt from our first guest, my girlfriend Angelica. She discusses her take on relationships and understanding healthy communication in terms of emotional needs, as well as how it applies to our relationship. Feeling like a hopeless romantic? Maybe you're in a toxic relationship and need some guidance. Are you truly hopeful of a different outcome, or are you just addicted to the process of the toxicity? The tide in our mind can be high and aggressive when it comes to talking about love and romance. This one might hurt a little bit.

Welcome back to the show. As always, I greatly appreciate you for setting sail with me across the ocean of our minds. Tonight, I wanted to embark on a journey together into the deepest portions of our mind. What heaviness are you carrying? How dark is the tunnel of your life? Take a moment to breathe, and evaluate your life. Look within yourself and have an internal conversation about the things that plague your life and hold you back.
“We live in an external world. Everything, you have to see it, touch it. If you can for the rest of your life, live inside yourself – to find greatness, you have to go inside." - David Goggins
The pain is immense, as it is for all of us when it comes to our internal struggles.
You're not alone. You're here with me.
Let's set sail.

Welcome back to the show. As always, I greatly appreciate you for setting sail with my across the ocean of our minds. For tonight's episode, I wanted to get down to the center of almost every individual's insecurities: their career choice.
More often than sometimes, individuals across the world settle with whatever career is dropped in front of them. Instead of following their dreams and passions, they go for what they think will be the guaranteed path to a successful future. Whether it's a 9 to 5 job (53% of Americans hate their job, according to Forbes), or going to college (30 percent of college students switch majors or drop within the first three years, according to the US Department of Education), it's best to constantly self-reflect to insure that we are following the correct path for ourselves.
Questioning your daily decisions in terms of your career? Feel like maybe college isn't for you? Do you feel like you're wasting an incredible talent just because you're following a career choice that someone has decided for you?

Let's set sail.

Thanks for joining me on another episode of Vessel of Life! In fact, the first OFFICIAL episode of the podcast. I'm working with a fancier microphone set up, so please bear with me! If this is your first time listening in, welcome to the show! In this episode I talk about my experiences during the lock down, how I saw the world change around me, and general commentary about how I coped with it. A lot of negative things have been happening as a result of the pandemic, but I've also noticed more and more people taking a leap of faith into creating content that they've been putting off for a while (myself included). I wanted to not only discuss my personal experiences, but also provide some insight on how someone can deal with these stressful times. Feeling like you're trapped in a box that the corona virus seems to have stuffed you into? No worries! Let's talk about it.
