Hello, welcome to A Colored Perspective. This podcast is going to be about history that isn't really spoken of. In this podcast I would like to focus more on BIPoC, (Black, Indigenous, and people of color). I want people to learn and understand their history, in and out of school; Sadly If you haven't noticed yet our history books are mainly filled with white men. That being said I hope every listener grows and learns from this experience.
This episode is about a movement made for Mexican American empowerment that lasted from the 1960's to the 1970's, called the Chicano Movement.
