Hello! Welcome to the Be Encouraged Podcast! You are listening to episode # 129 and I am your host, Jackie Brindle.

I am so thankful you decided to press play today! If this is your first time listening, I want you to know that you are so loved and welcomed here in our BE ENCOURAGED! Community. I hope you find that these messages, themes, testimonies, and/or pondering points in each episode become a beacon of light in the good and not-so-good parts of your day.

We all face life —- it can feel easy one moment and hard the next.

And as I muddle through the messy parts of life, like the rest of us, I need not only encouragement but to hear faith-based perspectives, truth, and grace that will spark everlasting encouragement. So if faith is a big thing for you or perhaps you are just opening up to it, I have no doubt it will speak to your heart today!

Especially because I have a very special women’s author (called, “Prophetic Encouragement for God’s Daughters”), podcast host of “Unencumbered”, and keynote speaker, as our guest on today’s episode, Heidi McPherson-Krieghauser. Heidi has faced a heart-wrenching tragedy in her life by becoming a widow not just once but twice. She has every right to sit in bitterness and anger with God.

Yet, she chooses to have the courage to rise above it!

Heidi has learned that “When all else fails, God doesn’t”.

Today’s encouragement is for you, for your sister, for your friend, for your mom, for your neighbor, for your coworker, or for anyone else that pops up in your mind. We never are promised tomorrow, but we do get to be encouraged by God through Heidi’s story and inspiration, today.

I don’t think it’s an accident that you pressed play today!

So come on in and grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and wherever you are….. BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 128!

Thanks again for joining me! I hope you enjoyed the last episode on getting worry out of the picture!

How did you do?

This week, I am going to dive into giving God our YES!

We are unpacking how to live, by taking one step, towards God, at a time. We are encouraging you to desire to pursue a life more in step with His plan than our own.

Being obedient to the call and purpose placed on our lives takes courage! It takes bold faith!

And what better person than to encourage us to be wildly obedient in our faith than Trisha Fenimore. Trisha is married with two young children and you can find her more commonly in Instagram world, speaking how God has changed her life. And when I say changed —- I mean transformed. Trisha holds nothing back from her background of being an Atheist, former racist, and alcoholic. She also dives into all of this in her new book called “Pray for Them”. Trisha is a walking example of what God’s grace and power can do through our lives with one small step of obedience time and time again!

If that just didn’t make you want to speed up and get to the encouragement, I don’t know what else will!

So let’s grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are —BE ENCOURAGED!

Also — don’t forget to share this episode in IG world and tag be_encouraged_podcast to all your family and friends with this fresh perspective on wildfire obedience!

Let’s go - and be encouraged!

Welcome, to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 126!

Thank you for making space in your busy day to press play! If you have some downtime today, please consider writing a raving review on Apple Podcast, or share the episode to my IG handle @be_encouraged_podcast in your stories, or text the link to a friend, so that So MANY more, can be encouraged, like you!

Now, have you ever felt the need or desire for connection with others? I believe we are all made to be connected.

Sometimes we don’t even realize how much we truly need it or would benefit from it. Sometimes, it might be easier to not branch out or share out with friends of what’s really going on inside.

After all, it’s hard to know who to share things with.

But can I give you hope today? If you are feeling like you need connection — PRAY about it!

Recently, I completed a bible study with a group of women, whom I never really met until before the meeting. Why? Because I unspokenly said indirectly to God, “It would be nice to be connected. It would be nice to be around other women who ‘get it’.”

And so when I got this invitation —- I jumped at the chance to go on a blind study small group with my new friend Heather who asked me to go with her. And the best part was, she didn’t know I said those things to God or have a clue of how much I was deeply desperate for connection, especially in the area of motherhood.

I was so hungry and thirsty to know I wasn’t alone and to be poured into. Each time, I met with these incredibly strong and beautifully humbled women of God, I gained insight. I got my confidence back in areas I didn’t feel strong in. I examined my heart and was so reminded not only that I wasn’t alone but how loved I am that God would design a particular group for me to be a part of so I could grow not only as a mother, but in my marriage as well.

I didn’t realize the power of not only abiding in God, but how powerful it is when others around you are doing the same (flawed and all) and yet, point you back to Jesus. These women were treasures that inspired me to be more like Him, to give myself grace upon grace, and to remind me that it’s okay to open up and ask for help or prayer in an area I was struggling in.

Today, I encourage you to be vulnerable, pray about a divine connection with other women who will point you back to Jesus. There is relief in that release when you trust other people enough to share it out!

That’s what I am going to deep dive into on this podcast. If you are feeling the tug on your heart for connection, I pray this is the exact encouragement you need to hear to lift you up and onward!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 125, with Julie Seals! Today, she is a speaker, author, and an ordained minister. She has a wonderful husband, Mike, who works with her in their Prison Ministry. Julie also leads “Her Hope Recovery Ministry”. Among all the things she does, it’s the core of who she is that really shines.

And today, let me ask you a question. Have you ever said to yourself, the age old statement, “Never will I ______ (insert what you are thinking now.) Maybe you are asking yourself, “Will this bad circumstance or accumulation of a series of never ending bad breaks ever end?”

Or perhaps it’s a perspective you are holding onto and need a reminder from Mark Batterson who said, don’t put a period where God is placing a comma.

Julie stirs up the encouragement for all of us who can get tied down to thoughts that imprision us to believe the lies that tell us never or never will I see ______ happen.

Julie’s life was not always so full of hope. She had many reasons to give up. Many reasons for the people around her to stop praying for her, and write her life off as another one who missed their opportunities in life.

Julie is a living testimony to why we should, “Never say Never!”

Julie unpacks pieces of her miraculous story, which you can hear more of from her newly released book called, “All My Hope, A Prisoner No More.” link to get your own copy is in the show notes. She also shares ways we can end the cycle of saying never and stirring up encouragement to live by faith and not by sight.

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run and wherever you are, BE ENCOURAGED!

Are you walking through a moment in your life that you feel utterly powerless? Is it hard to trust God? Do you feel surrounded by thoughts or people that attack your character? Perhaps, the situation has you feeling trapped and cornered.

How do we battle feeling stuck, in a rut, or hard to trust God at the moment?

I get it! Life is difficult to hold onto the shield of faith.

Therefore, let me give you a bit of encouragement that will stir your heart and help you take the next step with Godly confidence!

The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6,

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not (do not depend on) on your understanding. (6) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take (make your paths straight)." (NLT)

It's so easy to read this and get hung up on the "Trust the Lord" part and forget how hard it is to not lean on our understanding!

It's a struggle is real!

But if we read above in verses 1-4 in Proverbs, it reminds us that we have fatherly advice to forget the commands and teachings of the Lord, which the Bible reveals to us.

We can be reminded in Psalm 139 how fully known by God we are and anything we try to hide from Him, He already knows.

I don't know what struggles you are facing today, this past month, week, or year, but if you are feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and you have no room to move.... then THIS message WILL encourage you!

You do not battle alone. God is powerful when we feel powerless. BE ENCOURAGED!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are today ---- BE ENCOURAGED!

Hello and Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle.

You are listening to episode 123, with guest speaker Jessie Seneca!

Are you a fighter? Are you walking through uncertainty? Do you need some encouragement to have COURAGE!?

LISTEN TO THIS!!

Jessie is a breath of fresh air, as she speaks hope all over this episode! Jessie is a fighter. A mom of 2 beautiful and kind-hearted daughters who love Jesus and has been blessed by her marriage to John for over 36 years. She now also has grandbabies who light up her life and loves to spend time with them.

But nothing prepared her for the uncertainty of the recent news she got when she realized that the Cushings Syndrome that she had when she was 27 years old with two babies by her side would come back a few months ago.

Jessie speaks to all of us who go through really hard realities and uncertainties as a pivotal time to see it as an opportunity. She reminds us that we can sit in fear, bitterness, frustration, or self-pity or cling to Jesus who is the answer to it all. Jessie doesn’t sugarcoat the hard road she has faced over these past few months and what is up ahead, but she breathes hope to us all who are walking through uncharted waters.

As Jessie is the founder of More of Him Ministries, and the author of several books, well-renowned Christian speaker, she now embraces the other side of ministry, allowing others to care for her. If you are the person who is sitting on the bench right now, and people are taking care of you, that’s okay! Let them! Because there’s JOY in that!

I can’t wait for you to be encouraged to live courageously through times of uncertainty you face today! As Jessie said in this podcast, it’s time to Saddle Up! There’s More in store for you today!

So Saddle up, my friends! Get on your walk or run and wherever you are and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome back to the BE ENCOURAGED Podcast! You are listening to episode 121 part 2 with our lovely guest speaker, Jessica Momose! I couldn’t wait to share with you part 2, so I aired it a little sooner than my every other week schedule! I didn’t want to keep you waiting any longer! Keeping all the encouragement and practical advice, fresh in your mind! In the last episode, Jess unpacked what functional medicine and faith-based functional medicine are and why it’s so important to build your healthy living off of a strong foundation in Christ. Some topics mentioned were prayer, planning (goals), and finding a community to help you onward in your health journey. Now, in today's episode, Jess leads us to consider the importance of having a community, nutrition, hydration, relieving stress, sleep, detoxing, and trusting God with the rest! As well as unpacking the rest of the foundational stones mentioned in her e-book called, “Foundational Stones: A Faith-Based Guide to Healthy Living”. This episode is needed in the world today! Jess says, “We do the best we can with the resources we have and we trust God for the rest”. I am so grateful that if nothing feels like it’s working, we can still pray and take a deep breath to walk in JOY that our God has a greater plan and will pursue us to complete it! Remember, it’s a journey — a marathon, not a sprint! That’s why I am so thankful for Jess’s work around this topic to help us all fill in the gaps and speak to perhaps some things we may already know (changing nutrition, balancing stress levels, etc.) but it compels us to move forward with the end in mind. That the no now means a greater yes!! Thank you, JESS for speaking hope, wisdom, and grace! I can’t wait for you all to eat this up! Hello and welcome back everyone, to the first episode of the NEW YEAR - 2024 for the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 121. This episode will be part 1 of 2 episodes.

You are going to get to know our guest speaker, Jessica Momose over the next two episodes as she takes part 1 and discusses the foundation of faith-based functional medicine versus functional medicine. Jess has a nursing degree and has worked in the mainstream healthcare industry for years. Recently, she became passionate about learning how functional medicine can help fill in the gaps of what was missing in her health journey. Therefore, she turned off the beaten path and discovered functional medicine.

Before we dive into Jess’s story and the information that she will share, I want also to provide a legal statement. Anything said on part 1 and part 2 of episode 121 of the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast is information presented only to inform the audience listening. It is not to treat or intended to replace professional medical advice and is not a treatment plan. What is mentioned is this episode is here to explain, inform, and encourage you in your health journey. We are not responsible for any liabilities that may arise from the use of the information in this podcast. This podcast should not be used in any legal capacity whatsoever. We are simply describing our views and making every effort to try to bring correct information, keeping in mind I am still learning and want to present the common views of functional and faith-based medicine to the best of our ability. Again, please consult a healthcare professional if you should have any questions or concerns about your health.

With all that said, in the first part of our episode, we will be unpacking some of the foundational components to the e-book that Jessica wrote called, “Foundational Stones: A Faith-Based Guide to Healthy Living”.

Also, have you ever wondered what goal setting and prayer have to do with sustaining you in your health journey!? How can that impact us in the long game?

I am inspired and I hope you will be too by Jess’s wealth of health and wellness knowledge and inspiration from her own life to empower us onward!

Very inspiring! I can relate and connect to what she shares with us.

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and wherever you are BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 120! Hang with me today! I have some podcast updates as this will be the last episode of 2023! And you are going to want to stick around for this finale episode with a very special guest speaker who sparks that light of encouragement or she might set your heart on fire!

However, before I jump into what’s in store for you today, I want to welcome you into the BE ENCOURAGED community! To all of my listeners —- THANK YOU! Thank you so much for joining me in this journey of learning and building up our faith in life, together!

If you are new here — I am so glad you pressed play! This community is special! I have been podcasting over the past three years and I am always blown away by how each episode reaches the hearts of the listeners. Here are the last three reviews written on Apple Podcast: (listen to the episode).

I am so tickled pink and I am sending you all a big virtual hug to each and every one of you who jumps in every other week to be encouraged! So good!

The rhythm of posting one every two weeks has been an absolute joy and a labor of love, this year! Every episode has inspired me, challenged me, and transformed me through these powerful words of faith-filled encouragement!

During this break, from now until mid- January I take the time to unwind and spend some time with family. I am looking forward to a slower rhythm but I cannot wait to release what God has put on my heart in future episodes next year! It’s going to be a blast! More to come in my insta stories about that!

For now — buckle up and relish in this meaningful conversation today with guest speaker, Heather Youpa! Heather is married to Josh and has two beautiful children. Heather recently was speaking at church at a ladies’ event. All I can say is — so I don’t give much of her story away, is get ready for some truth that will knock your socks off! She has a testimony that gives me goosebumps as she struggled to find her pathway through New Age and God showed up in her path to seek His way — The Way.

Heather is a natural speaker and is a fabulous storyteller of how God showed her truth amidst her dabbling in the New Age paths. Her story begins with a rebel heart but God shows her a path that He was the Rebel’s heart that she needed all along. New Age to New in Christ. It is a powerful story of her own experiences and she also breaks down what the New Age is all about so we can see the truth, as well.

Perhaps this is a message for all of us who put things in the way of following our faith. So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are, BE ENCOURAGED! See you al in 2024!!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. This is episode 119 and it's a solo episode with just me --- the host, Jackie Brindle.

With all the distractions of ads, reels, sales, seasonal movies, and more it's hard not to turn our eyes from why we celebrate Christmas in the first place!

I can remember my childhood memories of Christmas and how each year has made an impact on my life and shaped my view of how I see Christmas today.

I hope to remind us all to get back to the heart of why we celebrate Christmas, in the first place. I want to keep our eyes anchored on what's most important to God rather than what the world generally defines as the "Christmas Spirit."

I unpack some thoughts based on scriptures such as Ezekiel 33 and 34, Isaiah 9, Psalm 23, and Matthew 2.

I encourage us all to be the watchman, to tell others about the good news of Jesus and how God has extended them grace in their own personal lives.

I encourage us all to be the light, to be the candle that lights others through this season that might be filled with heartache, disappointment, loss, or brokeness.

I also encourage us all to see Christmas as an opportunity to look to our shepherd, our Father in Heaven, our Savior Jesus Christ who shepherds and saves His flock. Listen in to His voice, pray, and seek God for He has and is, all that we need.

Reminding others of our Christmas joys and past brings people together. More importantly, reminding people of the true HOPE, LOVE, JOY, and PEACE we have in Christ is the eternal gift that we have to offer to all that we encounter.

So go --- and encourage someone with the true Christmas Spirit, because of the gift that was given to us and for us that one Holy Night, our Savior was born.

BE ENCOURAGED! everyone!

Is shame driving you or are you living your life, set free from it?

Hello — and welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast!

You are listening to episode # 116 with guest speaker Whitney Roehl. Whitney is the author of a book called “Reckless Grace”. A book that unravels what the pit of shame has done in her real life and how she has overcome her past, the experiences she's faced, and the trauma from how she was raised.

Now, as she raises her family with her husband Jake, she is bound to help others and set them free from walking in shame and align with all the adventure and purpose God has for you through her coaching business. (For those interested in the book or coaching business I will leave that info in the show notes).

On today’s episode, Whitney challenges us all to take a moment to pause and reflect on these questions.

  1. Is shame driving your thoughts and actions?
  2. How does God view you?
  3. How do you view yourself?
  4. How can I serve others? (not only look for ways to be served.)

In addition, she encourages us to PRAY! Send the invitation out and call on the Holy Spirit to increase our desire for more of Jesus in our lives. (in our marriage, in our relationships with our children, with our coworkers, at work, in our quiet time to hear from God.)

Also check out Galatians 2:20, Acts 2, John 15, and Psalms 46:10 come to mind if you want to dive deeper after listening to our sweet conversation that will surely help encourage you onward!

Today, my hope is that you listen in and know that you have been set free from shame, Jesus knows your name, break down the strongholds of your past, and let the new adventure begin!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and wherever you are BE ENCOURAGED!

Are you a dreamer? Do you ever have such vivid dreams and want to know if there’s meaning behind them or if it was just the junk food you ate before you went to bed?

Lately, I have been getting a few dreams that I simply cannot shake. These dreams feel so real that God is trying to tell me something.

Did you know that a third of the Bible was about someone’s dreams? The Pharoh’s dream that Joseph interprets in the Old Testament, Jacob’s dream, and Joseph’s dream when God spoke to him to marry Mary. There are so many times when God still grabs our attention through dreams and wants to encourage us.

Dreamer or not — you are going to want to listen in to the encouragement today on the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. Hi, I am Jackie Brindle, your host and this is episode 115 with guest speaker, Mandy Owen.

That’s why I am so excited for all of you to meet Mandy Owen. Dr. Jamie Morgan connected us through her Trailblazer Mentorship program. I asked her what she had to say about my dream, and immediately pointed me to Mandy. She told me this woman has a very special gift that is biblically sound. Mandy has God-given prophetic gifts and she desires to help others to encounter what God might be saying to them. Her goal is to keep her eyes on serving the Lord and encouraging others to see what God is expressing to them while they sleep. How cool is that!?

I love that it says in Acts 2:17

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

I don’t know if it’s the end times — but it does seem to me that God is going to call on his people through His spirit, and you might be encouraged to keep on dreaming!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 111 with guest speaker, Rachael Powell.

Rachael is a breath of fresh air, friends!! On this episode, she will encourage you to embrace seasons that pivot us into change! Rachael challenges us to view pivots in our journey, as a picture of a new adventure. A choice to embrace the change as a growing period that will be a part of God’s plan for your life!

She also speaks passionately of her own impactful testimony, when she visited Israel, in college. Now, she serves as Passages Chief Communications Officer and continues to share her passion for this life-changing event with other young adults who are branching out to find who Jesus is for themselves, break down barriers, and deepen their faith walk on their own new adventures!

THIS conversation will encourage you to SHAKE THINGS UP and be excited to face the pivots in your journey with JOY!

From our conversation, I gained so much insight that reminds me not to worry so much or to dwell on my plans but to surrender them to God so I can do what’s on His will and in His good plan! Because —- His plan is ALWAYS better than how we could ever picture it or plan out.

I am still learning this lesson: Choose an open hand and heart to surrender to God’s will and plan, when life pivots in another direction. That is why THIS episode will surely lift you up and onward while you embark into a season filled with changes, pivots, and transition into your new adventure!

Welcome back to the BE ENCOURAGED Podcast! You are listening to episode 110 and I am your host, Jackie Brindle.

This is a very special episode because Angela Walter is our guest speaker!

If you love being seen, heard, and loved then that’s precisely what she weaves into her hope-filled message as we dive into her powerful story!

As a communicator, a dentist, serving the Kids Ministry at Mosaic Church, and leading women in multi-faceted ways: like being the host of Crowned Conversations through PennDel Women Ministries, Angela will check all the boxes that will encourage you today! She is passionate about hearing other people’s stories and sharing her own because she is a firm believer that our testimonies lead to more people breaking free of the counterfeits of the world and the lies we believed for so long. Angela infuses her enthusiasm and love for Christ to the table and I can’t wait for you all to listen!

But first, here are some questions that are to challenge you, as you listen or to come back to after this conversation:

  1. How can you polish the crowns of others? (You’ll get it after you listen in)
  2. What part of this message was your takeaway that restored your own crown?
  3. Where else can you have more crowned conversations and listen to more of them?

Today, I encourage you all to lean in with your whole heart — jump in the pool of encouragement and let it wash over you like something new and exciting is about to happen today! God wants good for your lives and I hope this message reminds you of that! Your story is special and ultimately God knows. He knows your heart, your longing to be known, and heard.

Hello and come on into episode 109 on the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! Again, this is your host — Jackie Brindle! On today’s episode, you will hear from Micah Marshall, which this will be his second time on the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am very excited to welcome him back!

Micah has a passion to connect others across generations to the truth of the gospel. He does it in an authentic – down to earth — style that radiates joy and excitement from every conversation you have with him. He is the executive director and founder of Refuge Youth Nework in the Pitsburg area and is a wonderful speaker that will ignite something in you!

His wife, Bethany Marshall, was also on the show so should check out our past episode as well for more encouragement.

I knew the topic of this episode would be intriguing to many because we don’t usually talk about what we make idols in our lives to others. For those of you who have been following along with each episode, you know I recently took some courses for my doctorate in strategic leadership. One of the most humbling lessons I learned was how much I was actually placing as idols in my life through the scriptures of Kings. The message to reflect, repent, and ask God to search my heart to tear down things I have put in place of God was a big bold prayer.

And to help us unpack it further with more wisdom and knowledge on the topic of idolatry is Micah Marshall!!!

One of my favorite quotes you will hear from him in this is, “The silence of God does not mean the absence of God.” It is a reminder that God is always with us and that even if he feels far off, we have victory in Christ —- wherever we are. So hold onto that and keep on pressing onward!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are — BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 107. Thank you for joining me! There was a long break since the last episode, so I appreciate your patience, as you graciously awaited the return of a NEW episode! A reminder—- each new episode will air every other Monday — so mark your calendars and set the date to listen in to a message that will be sure to encourage you in your daily life and your faith. Today, this is a special episode because I sat down with Angela U. Carter, who is a mother, grandmother, pastor, and community advocate against domestic violence and abuse, and who also is a domestic abuse survivor herself. In addition, she is the author of a book titled: “Letters to Ma Mama: All the Things I Never Said”. —- available now on Amazon or on the link below. As you listen today, take notes! Angela infuses our conversation with her own life experiences and she reveals insight on how to be aware of the red flags one should notice in a new relationship and what red flags to recognize if you are in an abnormal relationship vs. a normal relationship. She speaks truth with love today — knowing that this might be a difficult subject for some, as they might be a survivor themselves, experiencing domestic violence, and you can always circle back to this even if you are not ready to listen to this one yet. Personally, now that I know more, I am compelled to lead with compassion to help domestic violence and abuse centers and more overtly to value the lives of others. We never know what someone is walking through or has walked through so I hope this lets you know today that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! You are loved unconditionally by God and I pray you to know and experience the fullness of God's love through Jesus when you face trials of any kind. Welcome back to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! This is episode # 102!

I am going to be piggy backing off of last week, as we are in a series called, “It’s time to Level Up!”

I believe that there are seasons as we grow that God asks us to take some brave steps out in faith. And shake things up in our lives.

As much as we want those things to reach the end result, we also know that it is a journey. That anything good, does not happen overnight. There’s a back story. A ground level that everyone starts at. We need to build a strong foundation in order to level up into the next season or calling God has on our life.

In case we get distracted or the wind gets knocked out of you today, here is your encouragement that will help you rise back up and LEVEL UP! Fix your crown as a child of God and give you a new perspective when faced with trials in today. And if we are not careful we maybe stuck on ground level for longer than we’d hope for.

There is so much more for you to do, to bring glory to God! Don't give up. Breathe. Hold on Tight to the Word and Prayer. And Share the struggle and what you've endured with someone else and tell someone else why God's so famous!

I think it’s how we steward our time in the levels we are in, that bring out the richness in the next level God takes us to!

I unpack Psalm 102 along with some more practical takeaways and faith filled experiences to keep you moving up and onward in your day, as you level up!

And if you are joining me this week and diving into Psalm 102, take a picture of the verses, or a verse that stood out to you and tag me on Instagram. What’s your takeaway! I challenge you to pray about what God is calling you to do this week in order to help you rise up and grow in the season you are in!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and wherever you are — BE ENCOURAGED!

Jackie

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode # 101! For the next three episodes, it’s going to be a series on the Psalms. Diving into Psalm 101-103. And the reason I am diving into some bite sized bits of encouragement with these verses is because I believe God wants to tell you to level up! God might have you on a path or one day will have you level up in life. Whether that means leveling up in your ministry, your career, your miles if you’re a runner or soon to be runner, leveling up in leadership, or in your calling! God has taken me down a few paths where I didn’t realize it in the moment, but God was preparing me to level up. And I believe God is calling you to do great things and to level up! So this one is for you!  I will unpack four points based off of Psalms 101.  I found it fascinating that in the Psalms, David had a calling on his life to lead. In fact, he had a calling to lead a city of people which was a great responsibility. There were people in the nation that opposed him, sought after him, tried to tear him down, and he knew it, too. But I love how he handles this monumental pressure, as God calls him to rise up and level up! He realized some important things to do, to help him as God called him to live out his purpose and God's great plan for his life.  I think we could all use some of those take aways, as we level up and grow wiser, stronger, braver, and become who God has called us to be in our family, within our friendships, at our work, and in our communities. Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. This is the place where I hope you find a slice of encouragement that will challenge you, move you, fascinate you, and of course encourage you onward with HOPE and Faith in your day!

You are listening to the 100th episode of the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. And what an honor it is, to sit back and reflect on all the episodes that have been put out into the world.

Each conversation was powerful because it was a seed of encouragement sewn in a way that met people’s hearts and minds in a way that only God could have known they needed that seed – for that moment in time.

I know it’s been a blessing to be able to do what I know I know I know God has called me to do, so when I thought about this 100th episode and talked it out with friends —- Gratitude came to mind.

Gratitude is powerful. It can shift our thinking despite our circumstances and what we are facing in the here and now. So I am full of gratitude in this moment, as I look at the glass that is not half empty but yet…. What has been filled up.

You have filled up my glass so much —--- thank you for coming in today and being a part of the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast — even if this is your first time or you’ve been here for episode 1 called “Worth the Wait” to my first guest speaker on the show.

This is a journey. No expiration date. No number capping off what this podcast is about to do or where it’s going.

But right here in the midst of this journey —- I want to pause at the overlook point, and be in awe. Awe of what’s been said and how it’s been an encouragement to me and so many others.

Like I said, Gratitude is on my mind so that is why this special guest speaker, Stephanie Jones is perfect for this topic! Stephanie is a speaker and author of “The Gratitude Challenge” and “Thank You Notes to God”, among other books she has written. You can listen to Stephanie, also known as the “Giving Gal” on TedTalk.

Stephanie lives and breathes gratitude in a way that it’s contagious. In fact, after this conversation I went to my husband and so many others and wrote thank you cards and intentionally said thank you to others that I probably wouldn’t have, had I not stirred up the momentum to give a gift of gratitude.

This is a timely and powerful one you guys —- so grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, but wherever you are…. BE ENCOURAGED!

Also stay tuned to the end of the announcement of our giveaway!

SO fun —---- LET'S GO!

Heyyyy there, listener!! Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast Community!  I am so delighted to have you join me today on episode # 99 with Delphine Kirkland!  Delphine brings the ENCOURAGEMENT, to anyone and everyone who has felt ... defeated,  forgotten,  lonely,  feels like they've strayed away from God, waiting for that healing --- that miracle in their life,  or for the breakthrough to come!  Delphine has battled a journey like no other. She has felt some of those things and I know I've felt most of them at different pivot points in my life as well. It's hard when you feel defeated and discouraged and your faith tank is low --- or maybe non existent right now.  The truth of the matter, that can happen. The rug can be pulled out from underneath us before we even realize it and we can be "sleep" walking through life with very little hope left in us. That is why this 99th episode is SO important. I needed to remind us all that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! That Jesus fought for the 99 and for the ONE --- the one who has wandered off --- the one who needs to know that GOD knows what you are going through and will not fail you now!  Delphine reminds us to stand firm in His word, be a prayer warrior for one another, and do not store up your testimonies but to share them! That is how we battle with faith. That is how God moves beyond borders. That is how we become victorious and know it --- because of the Good Word and the Good Word we share with one another! Thank you, Sister Delphine Kirkland for being a light unto all our paths on episode 99!!!  On top of being an encourager, Delphine is a three timed published author!  Her three books, are inspired by life and her journey with God and walking by faith, even when it was hard.

"Just Jesus and Me" "Hiding God's Word in my Heart" "Family Time with God" (devotional)

I promise you that this episode will bring you HOPE and a TON of encouragement!  So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are ----- BE ENCOURAGED!  Let's Go!  - Jackie

Welcome back to the Be Encouraged! PODCAST! I am so excited to have you here with me! Hi! I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode # 98!

Thanks again, for making space for some encouragement, today. If this is something that is a light to you, please write a review or be an awesome friend and share this episode with someone who needs encouragement!

That’s what it’s all about! :)

—--

Alright, let’s shift gears! It’s October — and I think you all need a treat to listen to, today! So that’s why I brought on our guest speaker, Joshlin Long!

Joshlin is an encourager, she also has an amazing husband and recently released The Seed Ministries Website. There, you will find her blog and a journal to use for your quiet time devotionals.

I brought her on the Be Encouraged! Podcast, because I wanted to unpack the struggle between wanting more for your life in terms of what culture says and also wanting more of Him in our lives.

Who here struggles with that!?

I know I do!

Joshlin, sheds light on the fact that we want more — and seeking that relationship with God is where the fun starts, because, and there’s the good life when we seek more of Him!

Yes, there’s more for you in this moment, in your today, in your marriage, in your singleness, in your career, in your parenting, in your purpose! All because of Jesus.

Like in Ephesians 3:23 says, (paraphrasing) there is more than enough for us — believers and non believers when we put our hope and trust in Christ.

I love that she mentioned that when we face heartbreak or a dead end,

“It’s not the end because there’s more of Him to come through on your behalf, He’s going to do it because He is faithful!”

That is the truth and hope that will light a fire in you —-so you can be a light in your community, in your home, in your car ride to work, while you’re at home with kids, or in your workplace!

If you want to find out more about Joshlin and her encouraging words, you can click the link below called The Seed Ministries, where you can read her devotional blog. It’s sure to make your day —- link below in show notes!

Ok so let’s grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are and BE ENCOURAGED!

Have you ever felt the intense squeeze of life when you experience stress, fear, a bad moment, or a not so good day? Maybe you've had a not so good week and that squeeze of life feels like you are walking in a fog and you need that ray of light to shine through?

I can't promise you that this episode will be it for you ---- but I hope it points your compass to the direction of the light that is greater than any encouraging word I have for you.

In fact, you all are in for a special treat ---- a little ray of sunshine in the midst of your day! My twelve year old daughter brings her light of encouragement to the table with us! Before bed the other night, I asked her what her thoughts were on --- How Great is Our God?

And the things she was unpacking were SO amazing, that I had to have her come on and share with us her perspective!

Believe me, I did not even know the things she was about to say, it had my mouth dropped and encouraged! I pray and hope this is a blessing to you all!

And as you think about how great our God is this week, try these things when you feel the dark clouds moving in.

  1. Remind yourself of His Word --- THE truth, the way, the light, from a verse or testimony from the Bible. The Bible is God's way of comforting us and helping us through the valleys and circumstances we face. To know that He promises to pursue us with His goodness and faithful love for all our days. (Psalm 23)

  2. Praise Him. He is Worthy of ALL Praise. How has God been great to you in your life? Where have you seen His mighty hand move in your life? Play and listen to the Praise and Worship Song by Chris Tomlin: "How Great is Our God", if you'd like, to remind you as well!

  3. Ask yourself, "How can I be a blessing to someone by shining a light on their path and to remind them, of how GREAT, God was, is and will be forever!

Let's grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are ----- BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle! You are listening to episode # 96!

You are all in for a treat, because I have Shelby Maupin, as our guest speaker for today!

There are so many mile markers in life that we experience! Sometimes we look to our “invisible timeline” and wonder....

"Are we ahead of schedule, right on time, or does it feels like we may never reach that mile marker that we desire to achieve?"

How do we focus on the here and now? How do we take meaning and purpose in the mundane of the day and in the opportunities or hidden seasons we are in?

What do we do when God feels silent, or we feel defeated?

This can happen for a lot of different reasons because we can experience a lot of different seasons! Not one person is going to experience the same thing the same way.

We all have desires in our hearts, and that looks so different for everyone.

Shelby talks about her season of singleness and relationships that can be applied to anyone listening who longs to build a relationship with someone.

We talk about our desire to live a healthy lifestyle that honors God, and finally we unpack the desire to reach your dreams and ambitions that God has placed on our hearts.

Yet, what do we do when we can’t figure out this here and now season, we are walking in?

Will the comparison trap win out? Will the desire become bigger than our walk with God and to know him more? Will the desires of our hearts ever come to pass?

You are going to be filled up with so much HOPE and practical take aways that will encourage you to not give in to the comparison that holds you back. Shelby speaks about processing through what we are feeling by verbalizing it and building up a community to help you through those seasons of struggle!

Love that so much! Shelby is young, but don’t let that fool you! She is full of truth and gives solid advice for anyone who thinks that they are “never” going to reach that mile marker moment! Let this be a light on your path, today!

I encourage you to live a life that follows the opportunities of the season you are given, so you can carry out the assignment God has for you! Truth is, God can achieve the desires of our hearts through Christ and on His timing, not on our own timeline.

Be intentional — Be consistent in the Word — and Seek Community to help you in your struggles, as you face the here and now!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and most of all — BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast I am your host, Jackie Brindle. You are listening to episode # 95! We all play different roles in life. And no matter what role we play, God has a way of being in the middle of it all! He’s in the role I play as a parent, sibling, wife, teacher, neighbor, and so on. We all wear different hats. We all need help on the days we are stretched thin and weary. That’s the truth of it all. But knowing that God is in the middle of whatever role we find ourselves in, is the hope that moves us onward. Amber, the Bible Teacher, and founder of Equipping Arrows does just that. She’s married, is raising 4 adorable kids, and homeschooling them. Amber also is a writer, speaker, and fun fact — has a backyard farm! She wears a lot of hats but melts her love for Christ into all that she does. But how is she able to do that? Spending time in the Bible helps her to do that so she can pour into others, in her everyday life. Amber is passionate about teaching others about studying the Bible. SO FUN!  We chatted out ways, with Amber, that will help us all, to engage with the text, understand the text, pursue the relationship with Christ that we have, and to write down some practical tips that will encourage us all to not give up. —--To encourage us all to keep on “seasoning” ourselves so we don’t get “flavorless.” (if that makes sense) Amber lights a fire in all of us to desire to study the word, without 'spoon feeding' us, but to encourage us to figure out the truth for ourselves!  Friend, sometimes reading the Word can feel daunting, overwhelming, and hard to grasp. Today, I hope you leave this conversation feeling empowered, knowledgeable of resources to help you, and encouraged to keep on building upon the faith you have! (even if it feels like a spec of faith) I can’t wait for you to press play today! But before we do —- please go ahead and subscribe — take a minute —- literally a minute— and write a raving review! It would mean the world to me to hear how it’s touched your life or made your day, too! And if you do —- Apple Podcast will place this at the top so more people can be encouraged like you! So grab your cup of coffee—- get on your walk or run —- and be encouraged! Jackie

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to Episode # 94! I am so excited for you to get to know Andi Andrew, my guest speaker on the show today. Ever since I heard her speak at a women’s conference a year ago, I knew I needed to have her on the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. She had a way with being so down to earth, humble, and SO relatable to every women in the room. And that’s hard to do! As women —- we compare ourselves, judge, and gossip. And she wasn’t afraid to poke holes in that and call us out. She knew we needed to break down some walls in order to really speak to our hearts. And I love that she wasn’t afraid to take it there. Literally, this conversation felt like I was talking with a friend I've known for years because I have read/listened to her book, “Fake or Follower” as well as listened to her Podcast called Coffee with Andi, and as a guest on some other podcasts I’ve listened to. Andi is an author of several books in which we will unpack a few of those today with her. She is also a mom to four wonderful kids and has been married to her sweet husband for a number of years. She was a leader of her church and now with her new move to the South, she is taking a back seat and writing more again! But in this episode, you will be challenged to think on all sorts of things as we walk through relationships and as we follow Jesus. (If faith isn’t your thing —- hang in there —- you will love what she has to say!) Having this conversation had me really asking myself —- am I a fake or a follower? Am I over complicating relationships? Am I being a leech or a life giver? Where does my mind and thoughts remain in? Am I hooked into Jesus or the horrible conversation that I had yesterday?  Lord, show me ---- what I should remain in? What am I wounded by that I am remaining in?  Am I humbling seeking out what’s the common denominator in my own life and how can I humbly ask God to help me walk through changes, see the lies, and  I repent of the things that are not producing fruit. How can I remain in God's love and grace --- daily!?  Ok — I know it’s a lot but let’s jump in the deep end, today! If you are ready to take some serious cannonballs into the deep end today in your faith walk and be encouraged in your mindset and in your relationships today ... then —- this conversation might end up there for you. So literally let's jump in, grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run but wherever you are BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode # 93!

Here, on the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast, I love to have conversations that are uplifting. But sometimes what’s uplifting is knowing that you aren’t alone through life. And like my kids —-- life can get messy and it feels like your’e always cleaning up messes in every room. The plans of the day can change quickly, especially if you have little ones in tow.

Much like life, our stories can be filled with messes and plans that don’t work out and can completely change us.

Especially, when life throws you a curveball.

Here’s the thing, if you’ve been listening for a while, you all know that I am a fan of Joyce Meyer’s Talk it Out Podcast, since I had the co hosts on the show a while back on episode 84. If you havent’ listened to that one, I highly encourage you to go back and do that! Those girls are fantastic!

As I got to know Jai, I thought it would be great to bring her on board for a deep dive into one of the biggest curve balls she’d ever have to face, divorce. Although, we may not all relate to divorce, for you it might be something different.

For me, I related to the emotion of not being able to let go of what was and picking up the pieces of the here and now.

Change. It hurts. It is not easy.

But here’s the questions I found myself asking Jai and myself. And now I am going to ask you —-

What can change teach us? What can we learn from change? These are questions we unwrap a bit together.

Will you join me and jump into this… not so sugar coated, conversation of pressing onward through hard changes, with me?

Great! Let’s grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are… BE ENCOURAGED!

Have you ever had that gut wrenching diagnosis? Scary news?

Trisha Schreiber is the guest speaker on the show today, and she got a life crushing diagnosis in 2019. She was diagnosed with Plasma Cell Leukemia. It is a rare form of cancer that when you Google it, it does not have a positive outcome for most people who have it.

Trisha was young, healthy, and not even 30 years old when she was diagnosed. Only God, could have comforted her through this and her family. She truly is a miracle and stands on God's promises and verses in the Bible that brought her hope in the waiting rooms and truth to fight fear with.

Trisha so bravely shares her story for the first time with us all, after it being exactly --- 2 years since receiving her stem cell transplant. Her doctors call her CURED! She has a lot to celebrate with her wonderful husband and two beautiful little girls!

I am so grateful she can bring hope and encouragement to anyone walking through a diagnosis or some frightening news that shakes up your world.

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host, Jackie Brindle!

You are listening to episode # 91!

In this episode we talk about how sometimes we make plans and have a certain vision for our lives and then what do we do when it gets disrupted.

Have you ever been there?

When I think about life, I wrestle with, “How is God going to guide me on the path I am meant to go on, even if I think I am missing the mark!?”

Then I think about how He can guide and teach me with truth as I still make plans, He still is putting together the greater plan.

My guest speaker today, really breathes truth and light onto all our paths today, so that we can lead with the truth and the encouragement from her testimony.

Dee MacCloskey is a mom of 2 girls, she also has a background in counseling, and planted a church in Dallas, TX called the Freedom House. Truly, God is using her and her husband, to build up the church and a community! Real people, living out flawed lives, living a crazy faith walk for a perfect God!

I loved my conversation with Dee! I have a feeling you will too!

She keeps it real, as she tells her story of having what she thought was a happily ever after until things weren’t so good. She triumphs over facing fears, battling through plans that took alternate routes, and heavily trusting in God for visions and provisions for the next crazy leap of faith.

You’ll love listening to her story as you sip you coffee, go on your walk or run, or wherever you are listening today! Maybe you’ll also be encouraged to take some crazy faith leaps today too!

So let’s go and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast!

You are listening to episode # 90, which is the last episode of a three part series called, Believe, Receive, and Achieve.

In this episode, I thread together the other two episodes, reminding you that in order to Achieve...first BELIEVE in who God says He is, Receive the gifts God has for you (even if you are unsure about them), so YOU CAN ACHIEVE great things God has in store for you!

Achieving things may sometimes be small and sometimes the achievements you have, will be monumental. But everything you do, I encourage you to do it for God's glory and not your own.

I say this because when I tried to do things "my way", instead of walking in deep surrender, I became more frustrated and bitter. The thing that shifted me to change my frustrations into having purpose and from being bitter to being better, was by handing it all over to Jesus --- to help me achieve "God's way."

What does that look like, you might ask? --- Prayer ---- Journaling it out --- and being self aware, or staying alert to recognize what's the motive of my heart when I am working towards a goal or working towards achieving something. It helps me reflect and prune back the things in my life that are futile, and will bear no fruit.

His way is the truth and the light. He is the vine, I want to be connected to when I am achieving big challenges and when I am working hard to achieve the small wins throughout the day. I learned and I am STILL learning that God wants to be a part of our dreams, ambitions, heart prayers/desires, and goals. God wants "in", but have to be willing to let Him in. ---- are you willing ---- to let Him in?

When I have done that, it shifts my perspective from what I am not achieving to being a blessing. Refocusing my eyes on Jesus takes the weight off my shoulders that it all has to be on me. God goes through the hard work and opportunities we walk through.

It's like running a long distance race. Sometimes you need that push ,so you don't fall behind, or you need to prepare for the big race up ahead, so that you can rise above the rough terrain. Every situation we go through, we can learn and be better for it. Everyday we can be bold to achieve life by REALLY living, not just by existing.

So as you are dreaming up BIG dreams, or trying to get your young toddler potty trained this week ----- I am believing God will help you through it, I encourage you to receive the gifts/blessing God has placed in your life, so you can use all of it to achieve what's up ahead of you!

Because the truth is ----- we are here not merely to exist but to live! How do you want to keep on achieving ---- keep on living on this earth?

Let's saddle up and BE ENCOURAGED, today friend!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode # 89.

I am talking through a series called, "Believe, Receive, and Achieve".

I encourage you to check out episode 88 ---- on Believe.

I unfold some pieces to my story of times when I sat in the waiting and have felt discouraged because life took a turn unexpected! The unknown is scary but it helped me to build my faith in who God is in my life and how I can stand firm on that when I look back in my life.

If I can believe that God is who He says He is, and that He has placed gifts and talents in me, then I can receive with confidence, the gifts God has for me in this thing I call life!

I am a dreamer and I have been filled with ambitions since I was a little girl. When life took those detours, not only did I have to believe that God was still for me, but that there were blessings STILL for me to receive.

God is so good to cultivate a story ----- not a cookie cutter one --- but a testimony so unique that He is so faithful to lay out blessings and promises over our lives if we are courageous enough to receive them!

So grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, and wherever you are BE ENCOURAGED!

Can I just tell you first —- if you are in that season —- what a blessing it is! I think it's in those seasons of life that I’ve had, that truly humbled my heart, challenged me, and changed me for the better. Over the course of the next three episodes I am going to hunker down on these three words. Believe, Receive, and Achieve.

Today our main focus will be on, Believe.

Come join me as I unpack this word and apply it to who God is to me, how I can trust and believe that God is for me, and how I know that if I have desires in my heart and prayers down deep that God will be faithful to me! How many times do you think about how you feel, or look in an outfit or, when you wake up, or as you are scrolling on social media?

I heard from Jess Connelly on the Proverbs 31 Ministries Podcast, that "97% of women think about their body image."

That means most of us listening to this upcoming conversation, could relate SO MUCH, because it's something that's on almost everyone's mind as we journey through life.

Heather Kelly, the guest speaker on the show today tells us of her own journey, as she came up against health scares, obesity, and sugar addiction being a real thing.

Heather went from trying to survive through her days and now she is thriving through them! And it doesn't mean she doesn't have days or rough moments but her courage to keep getting back up is undeniable and contagious!

She didn't get there by a fad diet, not by a quick fix, not by giving up over a bad day, not by shaming herself into workout plans, but by courageously making small healthy changes each day! She's SO inspiring, SO humble, and SO kind!!!

Heather is a mom of 2 wonderful kiddos, wife to a supporting husband, teacher, and now after losing a whopping 94 pounds, a health coach! She wants everyone to have the lifestyle transformation from the inside out like she has had. I can’t wait for you all to listen to her authentic, sweet, gracious, and courageous story!

But before we do.....

I want to challenge you this week to pause and think about how you view yourself today, then challenge that with asking yourself,

What does God say about you? Do you view yourself the same? Do you need to open up the Bible and find out for you or click on it in the Bible App as a topic?

Second Challenge: I want you to write down 3 or more things this week that you can tell yourself that are positive.

Example: Mine would be —- I am worthy. I am capable. I can do hard things when I stay focused. These breath sayings can be turned into prayers or be the words that remind you of truth!

Last and Third Challenge: Write down ONE consistent achievable lifestyle change you can make on your own pursuit to a healthier version of you! It can be the food choices you make, exercise activity you chose, or an environmental change to set yourself up for success (like meal planning, decluttering an area of your house that stresses you out, or simply making your bed)!

So let’s buckle up — grab your cup of coffee — get on your walk or run or wherever you are and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 86! Thank you for pressing play today! This podcast is all about encouraging you in various ways and you are all in for a treat today! Have you ever thought about being a leader or perhaps you already are a leader in some capacity! I heard this quote years ago, “Be the kind of leader, that you would want to follow”. That might be easier said than done which is why I felt led for you to hear from one of the people I have learned so much from! I can see that this person is a true leader as a husband, in his church, and within today’s culture. I want you to pause and think about who you are leading today? Who calls on you to lift them up in their day, ask for advice, listening ear, help them, make them smile? Maybe you’ve shown leadership in your day to day, impacting another person’s life because you’ve treasured the life that you impacted and in your own way —- you have made a difference! As a leader, or by showing leadership qualities, you may not be able to see the fruits of your labor, whether it’s in the classroom —-- at home —- on social media —- or in your community, which is why I want you to know that your leadership matters! YOU MATTER! Today, Micah Marshall is going to unfold what’s important to him as he leads our youth and all generations today! Micah is the executive director and founder of the incredible organization called, Refugee Youth Network. Micah touches on points that are grounding, challenging, and inspiring. He urges us all to be so compelled by God’s love and to live that out not by judging others or dividing others but by building bridges through asking questions and building authentic relationships. He stirs up the heart of it all —- that there’s only one you in this whole world and that you matter so much to God that He placed you here on this earth for a God given purpose. I have no doubt that Micah will rally us all —- even if don’t feel like you are “born to lead,” into posturing our lives and challenging us all to become the leaders God has meant for us all to be! Also don’t hesitate to take some notes, because there so many great treasures to take note of in this encouraging conversation! SO saddle up — grab your cup of coffee, get on your, walk, or run and wherever you are —-- BE ENCOURAGED! Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! You are listening to episode 85! I wanted to say thank you for taking time out of your day to listen! This space in your day is meant to lift you up and onward!

I believe that there’s always something powerful that happens, when I listen to an encouraging word; that is something relatable and I can learn something new!

Today, I have three very special guests with me to help do all of those things I mentioned!

We will dive into the topic of putting on the full armor of God and asking ourselves the hard questions like,

Do I create my own peace or am I readily stepping into the situation/day with being ready to take the first step with the gospel of peace? How can I prepare my heart and mind for the day? How can I confidently face the battles in my day to day life?

Whether you spilled hot coffee everywhere in your car or wondering how to handle going through a divorce, or finding out that the one you are married to lied to you, or your kids are sick ---- these all are real life hard things to face! Yet ---- there is HOPE when we face every single arrow that comes our way!

These ladies have valuable points to bring up in a very authentic, real, and raw conversation about putting on the armor of God in their own lives. I am SO honored to have on the show!

Erin Cluley —- she has a beautiful family with two young children, she is also a working mom as she is the Creative Director at Joyce Meyers Ministry, and a co-host to the Joyce Meyers Ministry’s "Talk it Out Podcast." She is sweet as pie, kind, thoughtful---- and will be sure to make you smile. (also a returning guest :) )

Another person who is not a stranger to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast is...

Ginger Stache.

Ginger also has a beautiful family and grandkids that she simply adores. She is the Chief Creative Director at Joyce Meyer’s Ministry for almost 20 years and has been on television most of her career in some capacity. She is also a co host to the "Talk It Out Podcast" and recently the author of the book called "Chasing Wonder". A perfect summer read, if you are looking to chase adventure in your life and to confidently face the obstacles of life with a new fresh perspective. –=-Ginger’s your girl!

And I am so excited to welcome Jai on the show!

She’s a beautiful person, inside and out. She has a wonderful daughter who is the heartbeat to her life. Jai is a well known recording artist and continues to pursue her passions with music and to lead others. She is also another host on the "Talk it Out Podcast." She shines in so many ways and her story of resilience is a powerful one.

Can’t wait for you all to learn, laugh, and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast!

I am your host, Jackie Brindle and you are listening to a repeat episode.

I finished episode 84, last week ---- which was part three of my BE BOLD Series “Be Bold to Speak Life and Truth!”

To follow this up, I felt so led to replay Toni McFadden’s first conversation here on the podcast from a year ago. In fact it was episode 42 which is exactly the half way mark from my last episode!

I love a good play on numbers, don’t you! And it piggy backs the last episode as she is BOLD and courageous to speak life and truth!

But first, I have to tell you all, Toni and I met a little over a year ago connected and it’s like one of those types of people you instantly connect with.

From the moment I had my first conversation with her, she has been making me laugh, especially with stories about our crazy kids! Toni encourages me to be bold and courageous and ignites my heart to go deeper — to want to know Jesus more!

It wasn’t until I listened to Toni’s full story on THIS episode, where her truth opened my eyes to what God can do!

Toni’s character — and her sweet compassion and grace for those who had abortions, like her, and for those who fear the unknowns who are facing unwanted/unplanned pregnancies is so sincere, friends!

Her testimony and knowledge is a powerful one. It is a story to consider listening to and read about in her book called, “REDEEMED, My journey after abortion.” by Toni McFadden (link below)

No matter where you stand on this topic, today, I prayerfully ask that you open your heart and mind as you listen —- lean in —- and let the story sit with you for a bit.

If it touched your heart, please share! And if you want to hear more conversations with Toni that I had, then I encourage you to check out episode 76, as we chat about parenthood.

Nevertheless, wherever you are today, – grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are and BE ENCOURAGED!

Let’s go!

Hey everyone and welcome back to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! You are listening to episode # 84!

I want to start of with some words of appreciation for all of you who are showing up week after week and listening to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I was so excited to read the recent reviews! Thank you for those who have written a kind word of encouragement on Apple Podcast! I gave a shout out to the last two reviews in this episode, # 84, so be sure to listen in to those, as well!

Lean in and listen to today’s episode, part three of the BE BOLD series! Yay! In this series we talked about bein Bold in Prayer, Be bold to Ask the Hard Questions and in this episode, it is all about encouraging you to BE BOLD to Speak Truth to Give Life!

Why is this so important you ask? Because who here doubts themselves a little or maybe you tell yourself – I can’t do that! I can’t tell them that! I can’t say that! Or perhaps your tank is low.

I get it! I feel the same way, sometimes. But the truth in God’s word is so encouraging and can fill up our tank when we are feeling low, forgotten, misunderstood, discouraged, alone, or even confused.

And the more truth you know the more you have in you overflowing to give a bold word of truth that will help another person out in their day to day too!

I hope this challenges you to go deeper in your faith but also develop boldness in your life to speak that truth that can quench what someone is thirsting for in their life. It could be a joyful smile, be bold to serve someone today, or to speak something that has given you encouragement to help someone else set that seed of encouragement in their life too!

Let’s start that ripple effect as we step out into boldness in our faith to speak truth and life!

So let’s dive into the last episode of the BE BOLD series! Grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run and BE ENCOURAGED!

Hey everyone! You are listening to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast, episode # 82!  I am going to take you on a journey to encourage you to BE BOLD and to give you some courage in your life when it takes an unexpected turn, when you face fear, hurt, or a change that is hard to navigate!  I don't always think of being bold starting with prayer but when my child asked me a bold question, I asked myself some other hard questions. Which then, made me ask God some big bold questions that lead to big bold prayers. Those Bold Prayers then lead to some Bold Actions and Bold Words.  In this three part series I will touch on all of those things and how it's impacted my life along with practical take aways to encourage you to be BOLD too!  Together, we will encourage each other onward!  Also, don't forget to share this with others! Hey everybody! Welcome back to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. You are listening to episode # 80! What a journey this has been so far! I have learned a lot and had so many meaningful conversations with inspiring people!

The purpose of each and every episode is to encourage you onward in your daily life. Faith is a vibrant thread that gets woven into each episode because, to me, that’s the thread that keeps it all together, in every season, in each moment, and in every chapter of life.

I wonder what different threads — values, goals, people, and colors of different seasons of your life have been woven together into your very own quilt that represents your life?

I dare you before this episode, or to pause in the episode, or even after the episode to think about that quilt? What are the mile marker moments that shaped you, formed you, and created you to be celebrating where you are today? Standing in awe of the goodness and wonder of what was threaded through the quilt of your life?

It's good to look back and be reminded of what good was threaded through your life so it can be the encouragement as you walk onward in your day!

Let’s grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, but wherever you are listen in and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode # 79!

Have you ever felt like there’s something pressing on your heart? And asking yourself these questions of how am I going to do what I am dreaming up or to do what we know we are compelled to do?

Bethany Marshall has a passion to serve others, especially being compelled to love! She is a part of the PennDel Women’s Ministry Dream Team and writer. Bethany is passionate about her own ministry to love and to gather His “daughters” of all ages to be impacted by the love of Jesus, through the Daughter’s Conference.

She is so enthusiastic, authentic, and real. I love her sweet gentle spirit and the courage it took for her to step out of her own comfort zones, so she could take on a HUGE calling, seven years ago.

This conversation reminds me that sometimes when we take those steps out of our comfort zone, it stretches us, and it’s not perfect. But it also can refine us! Because the truth is, God wants to fill us up with good things in all the areas of our life, for His greater purpose!

I have no doubt that this message and conversation will make you feel like you are locking arms with your sister, as we talk about how we can boldly step out into the unknown.

Let’s Go —- and I encourage you to share this episode with your sister — or ask yourself, "Who am I a 'big sister' to or can be a 'big sister to, today?" This might be the encouragement that they need in their day, too!

So buckle up, grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run and BE ENCOURAGED!

Overthinking it? Me too! I sat down this week and wanted to engage in my Bible devotions but I kept overthinking everything on my plate. It became a huge distraction in what should have been quality time with Jesus and my coffee! Have you ever been there? I think Jesus and the disciples were there when they fed 5,000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. I dig deep into the book of Mark because that's where I see Jesus’s friends mustering up all the faith they had to not overthink a situation and let God work a miracle! I believe God wants us to get out of our own way —- give it to Him— and watch Him multiply what we have to offer up in faith! Because with faith, ANYTHING is possible! Let's jump into the episode with your cup of coffee, on your walk or run, ,or wherever you are and BE ENCOURAGED!  --- Jackie

Hey friend! Pull up a seat — come on in ---- and Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode 76!

You are in for such a treat today, because I have Toni McFadden back on the show to be our guest speaker.

Toni is a mom of 4, author of the newly released book, “Redeemed: My Journey After Abortion”, internationally known pro-life speaker, and I am honored to call her friend!

When Toni and I get a chance to talk life out, its absolutely life giving. She has a way of building up my confidence, as a parent, and helps build my faith! You are going to get both of those overflowing into your buckets, on today’s episode!

We speak on different threads that weave together as being a parent. It is a struggle some days! Toni often speaks about the Pro-life movement but her passion goes beyond teaching, equipping, and empowering expecting parents. She has a deep desire to help others in their relationships outside of the womb, too!

That’s why I can’t wait for you all to listen to us dive deep into topics that can relate to anyone parenting in some capacity!

Some take aways from this episode are:

  • Parenting is NOT perfect! (and no parent is perfect)
  • Have the uncomfortable conversations, even if they give you the eye roll, they will remember your words!
  • Encourage yourself to be involved with a faith infused community to lift you up and to help build your faith when it feels like the ground beneath you has given out!
  • Boundaries are a safety net for everyone and are important!
  • Remember, God loves our kids more than we do!
  • Live by faith, even when life’s messy or the temperature of our culture says differently!

The hope in this conversation is that you are called to be a parent! Yes -- You! It is not an accident that you are called to be a parent or being in this capacity to parent your children, grandchild, niece, or adopted child.

Through Toni’s story and encouraging words, rings hope and truth for us all! She reminds us that no one, is too far out of God’s reach and that He can redeem it all for His glory! Give yourself some grace today and keep on putting one step of faith in front of the other!

So stay tuned, you won’t want to miss out on this authentically faith infused conversation!

I hope it gets you going today on your walk or run – on your commute – or wherever you are to BE ENCOURAGED!

Let’s go!

Hey there friend! Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. I am your host Jackie Brindle and I am so glad you pressed play today! If you haven’t done so already — click subscribe … what are you waiting for! And if you feel inspired, excited, and encouraged after listening to the episode, don’t forget to share it with your friends on IG world or write a raving review on Apple Podcast! It would fill up my bucket today and more people, just like you! Anyone here, pursuing your purpose?  Yup, – me too! Sometimes it doesn’t look as linear as we imagined it would be. Sometimes we experience a variety of situations and circumstances along our pursuit in life. That’s why today's conversation is going to be so impactful. Jasman Rolle is the guest speaker on this episode. He is a Christian creative coach with a heart to see others excel in their areas of giftedness. He has a heart to serve others with a purpose and on purpose. Jasman is a graduate of Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, with a degree in Music Marketing.  Jasman is an international-award-winning producer and songwriter, and has worked in a number of capacities within the Music industry. Rolle is the founder of Purposed 365 and Higher Level Agency and currently serves as the Director of Communications for One One 7 Entertainment and also serves as part of the artist management team at Noble Management.  One of the most important hats, Jasman wears, is being a family man! His beautiful and inspiring wife Nicoya have been married for 19 years and they have 2 beautiful daughters. Jasman sheds a light on different areas along his journey where God has planted seeds in his life, that at first didn’t make much sense. As he intentionally pursued God and took some big leaps of faith — he soon realized that wherever God have him serving, it had a purpose.  The question I think we all ask ourselves in each season we are in is, How can we intentionally serve the NOW with purpose? How do we live intentionally every day to pursue what God has purposed us to do? Even if it doesn't make sense at the time.  I hope this message encourages you today and gives you the confidence you needed to hear to lead you onward in the pursuit of your purpose!  So let’s saddle up my friends, let’s get on your walk or run, finish folding the laundry, or grab your cup of coffee— but wherever you are – BE ENCOURAGED! Hey Friends! Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast.

I am so extra pumped about this episode! This conversation was exactly what I needed, more than you all know! I have a feeling that if you pressed play today; it’s going to do the same thing for you, too!

So let’s dive in and meet Misty Phillip, our guest speaker for episode #74! Misty sparks a bright light of encouragement, wisdom, and biblical truth into the media world, today! She is the Founder of Spark Media, author, podcast host, mom, wife, business woman, and holding the torch to light a way for believers who are trailblazing their way into their calling and purpose, so that they can develop and improve upon their own gifts and talents!

If you are building a career or perhaps you have ambitions of one day growing into what you are dreaming up for the future, then this will give you pockets full of wisdom!

I say pockets full of wisdom because, I have this drawer in my office off all the notes, sticky notes, and church bulletin boards I have written on, where I’ve captured pockets full of wisdom on and saved to reflect on! It’s my stash of inspiration and encouragement, when I need a beacon of light or hope.

Because there are days that we all face “time”. Sometimes it’s the perfect time, other times we aren’t ready, sometimes we think we are more ready for what’s to come, than what we really are, or we may be in a season where we feel we may never get out of the wilderness years, to see any part of the dream manifest.

Here’s the hope — it’s not about our timing. If we truly want what God wants for us, then we know to trust Him. This is also something I mentioned in last week's episode, # 73!

Misty reminds us of that and encourages us all to follow the peace!

So let’s grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, but wherever you are — BE ENCOURAGED! Let’s go!

Jackie

What do we do when life happens?

On this episode I encourage you to focus on staying the course, when life seems to get in the way.....take a wrong turn....run into a dead end... or need to know which path to take next.

Life isn't perfect. When I plan my day, my next few months, the 5 year plan out, there's a good chance I look back at the end of those mile markers and most of it went out of order.

I don't know why I act so surprised when life changes on me. But change happens ----- life happens!

That's why we all need this encouragement today! I hope it you take on a new perspective when life happens again. I hope you focus on staying the course and see that God can be trusted enough to be your umbrella on the good and not so good days!

Grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are ------- BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! I am your host Jackie Brindle and you are listening to episode # 72!

Thank you for joining me and if you are new to the podcast, I want to encourage you to head over and follow me on instagram @jackiebinspiring so you can get connected to all the encouraging content I put out there, in IG world!

Also, you can make my day by kindly subscribing and writing a review on Apple Podcast, so that more people can be encouraged...

Just like you!

In this episode, I talk about ways I have stumbled into pockets of life where I am in need to be poured into and then there are times, I know God is calling on my heart to step out and serve!

The funny thing about serving others in the community is this: when your heart is positioned to serve, God is going to be glorified! He is getting to work on weaving together meaningful relationships, experiences, support, and blessings into those moments. I will never forget the first time I walked into a church MOPS group. I was nervous, excited, scared, and didn't want to go the first time. I almost bailed! In fact, there are many times as I said "yes" to doing things to be involved in the community or within a group, that I felt like I wasn't needed. I would fight myself and reason my way out of it! And YET ---- somehow by the grace of God it all worked out!

It takes courage, stepping out of your comfort zone to serve someone with your gifts/talents and to build a community! It also takes some intentionality to carve that time out! I'll talk more about that in the episode, too!

Listen, I can't stop this feeling that God is positioning you to take that leap of faith and serve Him in your own way! You know what that is, I can't tell you but what I can tell you, that you are going to make a world of difference and it will make a world of difference through you too!!

So let's grab your coffee, get on your walk or run, but wherever you are today ------ BE ENCOURAGED!

Burn out. What causes it? A lot of things... am I right!? Sometimes it's saying yes to EVERYTHING! Sometimes it's not giving yourself enough grace, and taking yourself WAY too seriously. Sometimes it's because life is in motion and you can't get off the ride, no matter how fast you are going.

I think if you are experiencing burnout or are feeling completely and utterly overwhelmed, then this word of encouragement is for YOU!! YES, YOU, my friend!

Recently, I took sometime off from the BE ENCOURAGED Podcast. I didn't want to but I knew that it was something that I had to do or I was going to be coming a part at the seams. I couldn't give more of me. I really needed to focus on what was in front of me at the moment.

Although I LOVE this podcast, I knew I needed to JUST PAUSE! In the pause, I learned a few things, like:

  1. Pausing does not mean you stop growing.

  2. Pause because we all need a break! Even if it's 1 hour of peace and quiet! We all need that time to veg out, laugh, cry it out, and most importantly quiet ourselves to hear God's voice!

  3. Pushing the pause button, allows you to gain a refreshed and new perspective. Maybe you take yourself too seriously, like I did! Remember that you are supposed to have FUN doing the things that you get to do!

  4. "You can't pour from an empty cup." (that quote reminds me of that reel on Instagram) But it's true! Who's pouring encouragement and affirming words into you? What do you need to do to fill up your cup? Read the word? Walk and talk with a friend?

  5. Ask yourself what you are fixing your eyes on, that's got you SO burned out? Trying to do it all by yourself? Are you asking for help? Are you focused on your strength or God's abundant strength?

Bible Verses to reference:

Phillipians 3:13

Phillipians 4:11

I hope these words were a stepping stone of encouragement for you today! Don't forget to subscribe so you can listen to a ton more of inspiring and encouraging content!

Onward,

Jackie

Do you ever wonder, what is going on behind the scenes of your favorite play or movie set?

Recently, I watched the play called, "Queen Esther".  The play was full of vibrant colors, beautiful music, live animals, and elaborate set changes! I can't imagine all of the hard work and details that need to happen, on time, during each scene. It truly is amazing! The message throughout was to remind us all that we are made for "such a time as this." And to "Be still and Know that He is God."

It was beyond encouraging and so timely!

On today's episode I talk about taking that, "behind the scenes" perspective when we are feeling frustrated, confused, and wondering a whole lot about what is going on!? Let me be that good friend, to help you to see beyond the dirty dishes, the dead ends, the deadlines, the mundane, or even the frustration you might be feeling in the scene you are in! Because we all need a friend like that, to be the light! To remind us that we are made for such a time as this!!

Let's get ready --- get set --- and BE ENCOURAGED!

Where's the 'Easy Button', when you need it most? Can you relate?!

From doing the dishes, running kids around to their sports, taking on a new job, communicating in relationships, or when handling the most uncomfortable situations; I wish there was an easy button to handle it all! Don't you?! Unfortunately, we can't take the easy way out, even if we really want to! In episode # 63, I encourage you to fearlessly plow through the hurdles in life, even if there is not an 'easy button'.

For example, when you know you should forgive another, listen when it hurts, let go, face your fears, or when you need to surrender a situation (that you don't know how to handle yourself), that's why this episode is so special!

My hope is that when you listen to this episode, it will remind you that it's never too late to turn back and come home, to God's arms when we can't see past the hurdles or don't know how to take them on with grace and courage!

I may not have the round red easy button for you, but I sure hope this eases your mind to take on the day with confidence!

Oh, and one more thing, before you listen, if you feel led to rate this podcast and/or give it a raving review, it would bless my heart so much! Because that means more people can be encouraged, just like you!

Encouraging you onward,

Jackie

Ever feel like there are a thousand different things that distract you from doing one thing well? GUILTY! That's something I struggle with and as I wrestled with this I came across some positive information that helped me take a step back and prioritize my mind. Do you need to do that too?  I dive into how our mind is like valuable real estate and it's important to think about what we are allowing, to take up space/rent in our minds.  In this episode, I give you full permission to do one task at a time, so you can create more opportunities to promote good thinking, make good decisions, and act well towards others. Imagine if you were to think of prioritizing your mind like closing out all the tabs that would potentially slow you down and burn you out.  I encourage you all today to take on a perspective that you have a God Given mind! Your mind can be reshaped, reoriented, and has been redeemed by God!  So buckle up, get on your run or walk, and BE ENCOURAGED!  Jackie  https://linktr.ee/jackiebrindle

Welcome back to the Be Encouraged Podcast! You are listening to episode number 59! This past week I had the most incredibly compelling conversation with guest speaker, Monet Carpenter. Monet is a business owner, a faith infused author, a nurse, and a mom to two adorable little ones! Talk about wearing many hats! I feel like most of us do the same, which is why I can relate to Monet’s story so much! Monet highlights the challenges when pivoting in life, especially when it’s involuntary. Which leads me to ask you all, Are you going through a life change that you have no control over, maybe --- you are about to pivot and have to make a tough decision for you or your family? Maybe you are having to sacrifice time, the dream job on hold, or your plans you envisioned to the side of the table. Or perhaps from your circumstances you are feeling completely alone and not sure what direction to take now. If you are, then hold on and listen on because there are so many golden nuggets of encouragement in this conversation! I know for me, it motivates me to keep a perspective to live life with intention and purpose!  That not all things are going to go as planned, but we can find peace knowing that with support of community, faith, and family…. All things are possible! We also have a very special discount code, if you are feeling extra encouraged to check out Monet’s amazing business called the “purposed box” -- link in bio! Need some bite sized encouragement to help you through your day? Listen, we all face challenges throughout our day. I can name five obstacles I had, even before I got to work! And on those days, a word of encouragement can mean SO much!

That reminds me that we all have a need for someone to notice us, help support us, or come along side us, through obstacles, challenges, and struggles. Encouragement can give us the confidence we need to have the strength when we feel weak!

In today's episode, I talk about the importance of seeing something worth the praise, and saying it in that moment. That word of encouragement or affirmation might just be what that person needed! You never know what someone else is feeling, going through, or thinking about. But, words of encouragement said out loud, or on a notecard, or in a text message.... could be the very thing that pulls them up and onward!

You don't want to miss this episode, as I challenge you, to find 5 ways to praise a person in your life today! Be creative and specific! By being intentional to speak life into someone can be the seed that helps them to grow!

So grab your coffee and listen in to the first part of this series called, "See it -- Say it!"

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED podcast you are listening to episode number 55, called The Bigger Picture!

Thank you SO MUCH for pushing play!!

Each week I am filled with gratitude to bring you a message of hope and encouragement!

The message I have for you today might feel like you are having a conversation with a friend you’ve known for years. At least that’s what it felt like for me.

Jessica Bryan is the guest speaker on the show and she is a mom with a ministry that is on fire! I heard her speak at our church a few weeks back and just knew I needed to have her on the show! She encourages us all to keep an eternal perspective as we want to know all the details to the big picture of life.

I don’t know about you, but I like control. I like being able to know and figure out every detail of life and my family’s but in the uncertainty --- which is what most of life is, right? I need to focus on something that is constant, never changing, and always good.

Anyone else need encouragement today, to help you through a season that is uncertain?

Jessica brings the wisdom, her own experiences of how she found peace in a time that she felt complete sorrow. She shares hope that there is meaning in the meaningless. I love that she said, “Jesus is the only one who can take the messy and make it monumental”

I have no doubt that this episode will help you to see that the temporary... messy parts... the uncertainty... holds no weight when you compare it what God's bigger picture! The truth is --- His plan is bigger and is working it ALL out for something magnificently MONUMENTAL!

So Let’s Go and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! podcast! I am your host Jackie Brindle. You all are going to LOVE episode # 54---- I know this will be one that you will keep coming back to!

Why?! Because I chatted with Jessica Filip! She gets me SO fired up in this episode, as she weaves in threads of her own life and how she’s had to break down her own doubt in many areas of her life! For example, like becoming a parent and when she started her own podcast! (Say It All Podcast)

Jess equips us with words of truth, experiences, and challenges us all to get out of the pit of doubt and rise up with confidence that you are right where you are meant to be and worth walking in your purpose!

Doubt steals joy and your view of your purpose! Whether when I try anything new in parenting, or when I am going to start training for something, or doubt even creeps in when you know you are prepared for something and then you are about to do the big race, make the big career leap, start the business, make the big move, or even become a parent!

There are so many times I have told myself I don’t measure up enough, I am not ready, how can I do this and YET ----- the only thing standing in my way of walking in my purpose is a little five letter word. Doubt.

That’s why I asked Jessica on the show because she helps women in her health and fitness profession remove doubt from their minds and help them to see themselves a little clearer! She brings truth and the fire to crumble any doubts you maybe feeling right now!

I can’t wait for you all to meet her, so let’s press play and BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast You are listening to episode # 52 and before we get started today, I want to ask you a question. Do you want to be encouraged? Then you are in the right place! I also encourage you to take time to write a review and subscribe after listening to this episode. That way, more people can be inspired by stories that speak hope, life, fun, and faith into their lives! AND it will allow more people to easily find the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! How awesome would that be!? On this episode I talk out those disappointments we face in life! We can all walk through days where we are at the top of the mountain, or struggling to climb up the mountain, or days when we experience a valley so low. And sometimes that valley we walk through can feel like God himself has disappointed us. Then where do we turn to when that happens?  Those are some hard questions that I have asked myself, when I experienced disappoint.  In this episode, I had the lovely opportunity to talk with, Melanie Karssenberg! If you know her, you know she’s the epitome of a sweet southern girl who is a light to her family, friends, community, and church. I got to know Melanie through Instagram through her faith infused conversations on Instagram live called Monday’s with Mel. You need to check that out --- see link below! She unpacks life with other women who have been through the valley so low and she's experienced that pain first hand, as well, through miscarriages and infertility.  Melanie is passionate about helping other people but especially women, overcome disappointment with God and to be encouraged to see His goodness, in everyday! She is currently working on a book and I can't wait to see where that leads her in the next year!  So buckle- it- up- today- people!! --- grab your coffee, or push play on your run or walk, or wherever you are ---BE ENCOURAGED! LETS GO! Jackie

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! You are listening to episode # 51 called New Tools for Your Toolbox!

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and thought, "Wow, we covered every topic under the sun!" And that time, goes by like a blink of an eye! Usually by the end, of a conversation like that, I feel like I am on cloud 9 because I can recognize two things that happened:

1. I am not alone.

2. I have some new tools in your toolbox that I get to try out, in life!

Today you are in for a real treat because that is what this conversation with my guest speaker, Chrysty Lockhart is all about! Chrysty and I met over Instagram! I really enjoyed her posts and listening to her “Start Scared” podcast. When I reached out--- She was clearly an insta friend. For those of you who haven’t crossed paths with her, she is a mom, wife, teacher, podcaster, coach, and friend.

She shares valuable words of wisdom from setting boundaries in your life, communicating tips, encouraging us to rediscover who we are --even if that means starting scared!! We talk mostly about being a mom but whether that is a role that plays a part in your life or not, we can all relate to not wanting to feel completely alone. We chat about building up our own community and cutting the red tape on the stigma of counseling and how it is a great tool for your toolbox!

Life isn’t easy but there is plenty of room to give yourself some grace!

So be ready for a fun girl chat conversation which will fill up your tool box! Are you ready -- get set -- and be encouraged!

A number does not define you! My encouragement in the 50th episode, is to let you know all know how valuable you are and that you matter! It does not depend on the number of likes, number of followers you have, or the productivity of your day! I have to be honest, I've let the number be my idol, without even without me realizing it. I can get stuck on what the "number" means to the world.

But when I choose to interrupt those lies and negative thinking, I always land on the truth that sets me free. I am a child of God, so precious to Him. The outcome of what God did for us on the cross trumps all lies, fear, anxiety, and doubt of who God says I am! God knew we'd spiral into downward thinking that we aren't enough which is why He gave the greatest sacrifice --- GRACE -- which says we are more than enough! does in my life and in yours, is more valuable to anyone than any "thing", like a number.

I am passing through, this thing called life. As are you. I want to leave behind a legacy so that when my race is finished, people were encouraged by what God has done in and through my life, for His glory! It's never been about me! The podcast, what I create, my actions, my productivity, my workout, my parenting, my relationships, is all FOR CHRIST! If I focus on it's all about "me" that insecurity is sure to creep in, again and again.

Here's a few ways that can keep you looking up and onward:

  1. Call out all your insecurities and give it to God first, because He cares for you! SO much so, that He wants you to lack nothing! (reference James)

  2. Call on a friend. Talk out your insecurities! Pray about them together!

  3. Listen in to a podcast or read something positive, thought provoking, and encouraging!

Thank you so much for listening! I am so grateful that you listen in because I know your day has a lot going on in it from day to day! And yet you chose to push play!! Thank you!

I hope this continues to leave you ENCOURAGED!

Hey everyone!  Welcome to episode # 49! Today's topic is, wellness. I think this is a huge buzz word, in our culture, lately! There are so many things that come to mind, when wanting to achieve a healthier lifestyle. I have a lot of questions about it so that's why I talked out this topic with the one and only, Melissa Stewart!!  Melissa Stewart is the guest speaker on the show today. She is a soulful wellness coach that has a mission to develop and instill practices in creating a healthy and sustainable life! Melissa is on a journey and she takes us along with her as she shares her heart for others to achieve wellness along their own path. She is rooted in faith and infuses that into her practice of leading others in their own wellness journey!  She is also a mom of 3, wife, and she loves to chat just like me! She has her very own podcast called, "Wellness from Within!" You are going to want to add this to your podcast playlist -- no doubt! It is sure to spark a fire in you from the inside out!  Melissa and I dive into unpacking all the different aspects there are to keeping yourself rooted in faith first, being self aware, and why surrendering your struggles over to God can really help take the "weight" off!  You are going to need to take notes on this one! If you are driving, going for a run, or simply multitasking --- I'd recommend not to drop it all, but I encourage you to circle back to this as many times as you need to! Let's go, friend! Encouraging you onward, Jackie Resources from episode # 49  Learn more about Melissa Stewart by clicking below!

Welcome to BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! This is episode number 47!  Encouragement needed to support one another through the milestones, but also in the NOT so bright days of our lives! Today's conversations is on a very hard topic: Losing a loved one. Even just speaking that sentence out loud does not bring a very encouraging tone. It’s a tough one to talk about. When you love hard, you grieve hard! Also, there’s a lot to process and unpack, when a wave like that, hits. That’s why I want you all to listen in to my guest speaker Amber Dewire. She bravely shares her story and offers up hope, peace, wisdom, and comfort. Amber is also a writer of the blog called, Ministry of Cullen. https://ministryofcullen.wordpress.com/ I have read her writings and I am always amazed at how she points it all back to her faith and trust in God at the end. In this episode, Amber touches on how she untangled and still untangles the sadness, trauma, and guilt that she experienced and experiences. Let’s face it, sometimes life can feel like the waves of grief are never ending, but with her story --- I pray it will bring you wisdom, hope, comfort, and peace! I want to thank Amber as she was courageously vulnerable here! That takes courage! The Ministry of Cullen is an example of how much God loves us and wants to make us whole again, even when we experience terrible heartbreak and brokenness. I pray this brings you peace and comfort as we are all reminded that Life is a fragile gift and to be thankful for each day we get to be in it with the people we love! So Pull up a seat, get cozy and ....BE ENCOURAGED! Jackie  Resources to refer to, suggested by Amber Dewire.

Heyyyy everyone!

You are listening to episode # 46, on the BE ENCOURAGED! podcast. You are in for a treat, today!!

I have been doing this podcast for a little over a year and I could not be more excited of where it's taking me, all because I said yes! Which leads me into one of the topics that my friend, Sandra Guerin talks about on today's episode! Sandra is a dear friend of mine! We've known each other for about 15 years now, and it's one of those friendships that have encouraged and inspired me to be a better person!

That's one of the reasons why I called Sandra to come on and be a guest speaker, on the podcast, today! Sandra has been through some tough storms in life and yet ....she continues to see the life with an elevated eternal perspective! This type of living, keeps her choosing joy instead of bitterness.

I am in awe of her story because she ignites hope, faith, and excitement for us all, to press onward to the spaces filled with, yet!

So grab your coffee, grab a friend if you want to listen to it with, and wherever you are buckle up and be ready to BE ENCOURAGED!!

Jackie

This week I am throwing it back to one of my favorite episodes of the BE ENCOURAGED! podcast!

Sherry Furhmann was my third guest speaker on the show back in July 2020! I share this again because Sherry is one of the most genuine, kind hearted person you’ll ever meet! She is the CEO and face of Pure Wild Tea company, a mom of 5, and an elementary teacher. Sherry is one of those people that you would be captivated to talk with and make you feel a part of your family right when you meet her!

Sherry and I dive into topics of what’s on her bucket list to leaving a legacy. As I went back and listened to her story, it really touched me. I lost my father in law back in December, 2020. And it shook our family’s world. But the thing that keeps us going and that is important to our family is that we carry on his the legacy that he left behind.

Sherry’s words stir up encouragement to do the things that fascinate you, challenge you, and to do things that move you onward and upward! The hope is knowing that with faith as your guide, you can make the most out of any situation you face!

Sherry expressed so many golden nuggets of advice in this episode, but this is one that really resonated with me. She said, "We are being taught things all along our journey. Therefore, working hard and being challenged is important. If you don't have that you're not creating, you know, .... a mission in life! ....You're not creating that that legacy because you won't have those stories to tell. And that’s what creates our legacies, it's the stories behind the ups and downs."

I hope that when you listen in it sparks the long term thinking of who you are becoming and who you want to be for yourself and others!

So listen in and BE ENCOURAGED!

Hey friend!

Thanks for clicking play! This is episode # 45, "You are Worth It!"

Life can get us down from time to time and it can also stir up a question in our mind like "Am I worth it?" It's hard not to stack yourself up on a rating scale and wonder if what you are doing is worth it in any pocket of life you are thinking about!

Maybe you just lost your job, your child isn't listening, you are in a stretch of singleness, nothing you are doing seems to be "right", or perhaps you are infamous at being a hardest critic on yourself, then I hope this episode leads you to giving yourself a whole bunch of GRACE and ENCOURAGEMENT!

Because YOU ARE WORTH IT! I know that because the truth is God says you are!

Let's buckle up! Grab your coffee, get started on your walk or run, and wherever you are, BE ENCOURAGED!

Welcome to the Be Encouraged! Podcast. I am your host Jackie Brindle. You are tuning into episode # 42! In this episode I have one of BE ENCOURAGED podcast firsts. This is the first recording I have ever done - in person!! You are all in for a real treat because I have Toni McFadden who is the founder of the program called, Relationships Matter. In our conversation she says, “Relationships are the only thing that matters in life”. I can see why her passion is to build bridges in life, that forge relationships, that truly matter. Toni has a very unique and powerful story that weaves together very different threads in her life, into something so beautiful!  It literally gives me chills thinking about it! Toni’s story of forgiveness, redemption, and looking onward to healing post abortive brings a message of hope that will take us deep!   Toni is a voice for the voiceless. She speaks passionately about the miracle of life and what that means to her. I read this quote from Preemptive Love Volume 5, “The point of hard conversations is to show up, to hear someone else’s experience and beliefs, and to try to empathize and understand where they are coming from.”  Today, is one of those hard conversations that I think is okay to have. I love that Toni feels so passionately about this movement. It really made me ask myself some hard and convicting questions about my own beliefs. It made me really consider the miracle and value of all life. Perhaps it will encourage you on a deeper level too, as Toni holds nothing back about her faith and her walk with Jesus! It's an incredible story of how He changed her heart and life by the His amazing grace! Let’s dive in --- and let’s go deep --- and BE ENCOURAGED! Jackie

Thank you for tuning into episode number 41 called Part 2, Mom Confidence! I am back ---bringing the inspiration and practical tips with my incredible guest ---  Kylie Hempy! She has 2 children under the age of 3; juggling motherhood with little sleep, grace, and excellence! Kylie is also the host of The HomeTeam podcast which is one of my favorites to listen into! I am a total fan girl! In our conversation about building mom confidence, Kylie really challenged me to think about this question,  “What does good look like?” (in your day, in your week, in your month...etc.) Take a minute or two to think about that and really sift through that layering question. This layering question can have copious answers that you may want to go back and write it out when you get some time with your hands free! I know I enjoyed this conversation as it ignited my need to reflect, rest, and reset. Any mom out there, need that too? I hope and pray that this conversation would stir up a new perspective, as a mom. Nothing is impossible with God and learning from one mom to another!  Have a great week everyone!  Jackie

Welcome to the Be Encouraged! Podcast! I am your host Jackie Brindle.

Change. Think about that word for a minute. What comes to mind?

Sometimes it’s not so bad and other times, it hurts. Sometimes there’s no preparation for what lies ahead in our journey. And Sometimes we come to a haltering stop. It almost can feel like the world around you is in motion and while you are trying to still figure out how to find your starting line again.

It’s in these moments that test my faith, is where I cling to hope, and dig deep to find the courage to keep on keeping on.

That’s why I am revisiting this conversation, episode 20 from when it was previously recorded in fall of 2020.

I had the privilege of speaking with the renown author of Walk Run Soar, Dorina Gilmore- Young, she also is an author of a variety of books that are SO worthy of checking out, as well!

Dorina shared her story of heartbreak and hope on this episode! She also shares her love for running! Since we last talked, she has been publishing her very own podcast which is related to her devotional Walk Run Soar!! If this story inspires you today, you will surely be inspired by all the athletes and motivational speakers, she speaks with on her show too!

I realize, from getting to know Dorina, that the one thing that keeps her finding her starting line each day is her unshakeable faith. It helped her to conquer her fears, to courageously put one foot in front of the other. If you are needing to muster up some courage for a season that you weren’t prepared for, this is the message for you. Listeners, take your mark… Get Set.. GO…. And BE ENCOURAGED!!

It’s full on spring time and when I think of spring --- I want to open up my windows on a sunny day and let the breeze flow through my house. But what happens when I do that --- I start to see all the places I have so nicely hid all the junk in my house and need to spring clean!

Last year there was certainly more time to organize and spring clean pockets of the house that I know need some TLC. So that’s why I called on one of the best in the biz, to encourage us all to use solid strategies to empower us, when faced with the task of organizing a small space and a big space!

I love having meaningful conversations with people that encourage me to make healthy life changes and changes of the heart!

Today you are in for a real treat as I sit down with my guest speaker, Jill Yesko.

Jill is, the CEO of Discover Organizing based out in Pittsburg, PA. You may have seen her on your local TV show for interviews or have seen her on Episode 2 of "Hoarders", where she was a guest professional organizer!

She weaves her seasoned experience as a Certified Professional Organizer and leadership, not only into this podcast, but in every area of her life. Also, an author of two incredible books, coming soon to a bookstore near you! (or Amazon!)

In this conversation, I believe Jill wants to empower us all to be courageous, tenacious, and self-disciplined enough to truly simplify and improve our productivity, our time, and in any space we work or live in.

Grab your coffee and definitely a pen and paper if you can. If you are not hands free --- perhaps on a run/walk, spring cleaning, or in the mobile office --- you are going to want to save this one!

Ever feel like life is one big waiting room after another?

Ever feel completely stuck in the waiting room and perhaps it feels -- dare I say .... hopeless? pointless? lonely? never ending? Or always asking the question, "Am I there yet?"

Yup. I get that! That's why I asked my friend, Holly Foley, to be my fabulous, guest speaker, on this episode #35!

Holly is a super mom to FOUR incredible kids, creative, artistic, a knack for marketing and design, and she is SO FUN to be around! Holly exhales this incredible heart, to want to serve and help, not only her family, but everyone around her!

Holly untangles some of her own waiting room experiences with us to bring us a lot of encouragement and "hindsight 20/20" wisdom!

Although the waiting can be hard, Holly reminds us all that it's never pointless because most of the time, we can look back and see a glimpse of what God was doing in our lives. Even if we didn't understand it completely then, God is faithful to use that time to work on our hearts, so that He can complete the work He's called us to do.

So buckle up, grab your coffee, get that pile of laundry, or lace up your shoes, because wherever you are listening, you’ll BE ENCOURAGED!

"Fearlessly Live Life" -- it's my 2021 phrase for the year!

After a long road of ups and downs I made it --- YOU made it into 2021!

And with that in mind, I thought about what I learned over the past year and shared it on this episode with all of you.

Life is too short to live life in fear but we can choose to trust God even if we have fear and STILL be strong and courageous each and every day!

My hope is that this episode encourages you to choose to press the TRUST button rather than the PANIC button! Then you can step into living life fearless!

Press Play and BE ENCOURAGED!

It's 2021! My first episode in the new year, and it feels so GOOD to be back! I've had some time off from the social media world, to do a 21 day fast of social media. It's taught me a lot and gave me a new meaning of what's important in life. Especially, as I journey through some of my own personal struggles.

On episode #28, I talk about what has helped me through this season of rebuilding; in my faith, hope, confidence, and strength in Him. I hope that when you listen, you know that the heart of this message is to bring you comfort, courage, and of course, encouragement in your day!

Here we go, episode #26 - “Bloom Where You are Planted” - This quote was mentioned by the guest speaker, Olivia Ryan in this episode. We recorded this earlier in the week, before Thanksgiving and I could not have picked a better time to have this conversation.

Because I realize that when I take in, more moments to reflect on what matters most, it becomes a part of what helps us to bloom where we are planted!

Also, I am really really really -- thankful for the conversations I have on the podcast!

Yes, I do like to talk, but I am so blessed by the guest speakers on the podcast whether it’s faith-driven or not --- I am amazed at how each person has a story like no one else -- a message like no one else! Incredible!

I find that it often unravels pieces of inspiration that I can respect and take along with me to fuel my life up with, too!

That’s why I am fired up and excited for you, to meet my new friend, Olivia! Her heart is on fire to tell us all what fuels her up and helps her to help other women, to not shrink back but to lean into the light ---- or onto a yoga mat!

And she may have you wanting to try something new, too! So fun!

So cozy up with your coffee, listen in with a friend, or grab your yoga mat and turn it up… because you will no doubt be encouraged!

Hey you guys! I have a confession to make! I am guilty!

Guilty of forgetting things a lot!

I need to set so many reminders but dropped the ball a lot, lately! Does anyone else feel that way some days?!

I challenge myself and you to set practical reminders to help drive you onward! I also dig a bit deeper in encouraging you to remind yourself how far you've come, in life. I talk about when I look back at my own life and see how God has been faithful, I have more confidence and trust in knowing that today, God can do all things!

Let's face it reminders are great! But it's even better when they come from a friend who has your best interest at heart and wants to help you be the best you, you can be! I hope that you feel that way as you listen in on today's episode!

Check it out and be encouraged!

Change. Sometimes it’s not so bad and other times, it hurts. Sometimes there’s no preparation for the changes in life that can bring you to a haltering stop. It’s in these moments I find myself asking, “why?” “How do I start?” “Where do I begin?” In this episode, I talk with Dorina Gilmore- Young, an author who wrote the devotional book called Walk Run Soar. There are those days, weeks, years (including 2020), that seem like it's a never-ending bunch of wrong turns, hills, climbing, going unnoticed, nothing seems to go the way you expected, or you are simply in a waiting season which feels like a lifetime?!

Today I sit down with Mandy Johnson, a single- mom of 3 beautiful girls, has been in ministry for several years, a public speaker, blogger, and Connections director at her church.  She knows how to light up a room and to make people feel welcomed.

I ask her the hard questions, like, "How do we battle those seasons, weeks, days, minutes that are terrible, no good, very bad days?!" Mandy speaks to being a single mom that never seemed to be in the cards for her, so she thought. When life took a hard turn, it took Mandy down a path of highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Mandy speaks to all of us by authentically and vulnerably sharing her struggles, hopes, and humor along in this episode!

Buckle up for the long drive because we are about to talk your ear off along with our hope which is to uplift and encourage you the next time you face those terrible, no good, very bad days ---with a little more confidence than before!

Are you in the waiting season of life? Wondering why hasn't something happened yet that's been put on your heart? Or maybe you are waiting for God to move in this pandemic?!

Throughout my Bible devotions this week, I dug deep into two verses that reminded me to trust God in the waiting. I also shared how God used those times of my faith was tested in the waiting, and how God wanted to use that time for a bigger blessing that came my way.

I hope that the message of the podcast encourages you, builds your faith, and is a breath of fresh air in the midst of whatever you may be walking through today.

Be encouraged, friends!
