What Nehemiah can teach Donald Trump about building a wall

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Donald Trump has often, and rightly so, been compared to the biblical character of King Cyrus. He might even more accurately be compared to Nehemiah. Nehemiah famously built a wall around the city of Jerusalem because the city was defenseless against marauders. Nehemiah learned several things about building a physical barrier to protect people. Number one, he learned that his city and his nation had bitter, angry enemies who would fiercely oppose anyone who sought to protect it. And he learned the only way to complete such a project is through sheer persistence and the power of prayer. In a similar way, President Trump has implacable adversaries who because of their disdain for America are doing everything in their power to stop him. Now we don’t know what the president’s prayer life is like, but he needs us to stand in the gap with him and for him through our prayers and support.
