Not only do we play the hits of yesterday, we also drop those rare & raw uncut classics that were not on the radio, but for the underground heads who bumped them in the jeeps or in the basements! 4th of July weekend was extra energy from the time I walked in and set up, until the last beat played out. It was apparent the happier hours were in effect, and the good vibe tribe definitely were out in force! The atmosphere was extraordinarily sexy, as always, but in light of the holiday weekend, it was only appropriate to elevate the vibes!
This Exposure was a blast, with dj NIMBUS stretching out and extending range of motion in the mix for 4 of the 5 hours! Yung Chris was not able to make it out, so Malcolm Bravo dropped the center hour peak time set, as NIMBUS set the tone prior and amplified the closeout afterwards! Fridays nights are made for great food, great drinks, and great music! Azumi offers all three, and never disappoints! Generally, I am the pilot of Friday nights, but this Saturday was by special request, and The Ambiance Architect was on duty and crafted another seamless mix of universally palatable grooves from the realm of deep & soulful house, and gave everyone within earshot a magical memorable weekend night to remember their outing by!

Brunches in Houston are pretty basic, EXCEPT at Azumi! From an elevated cuisine, cocktail and ambiance perspective, we are unmatched! We have slowly been rolling out the launch of the new brunch offering, and the vibes are a patio perfect pairing for Sunday mornings ( 11:30 - 3:30 ). This set is the first 2 1/2 hours of the set, as my computer got hot and the recording started glitching. It was a perfect spring evening, sunny skies but the comforting chill temps rare to hot Houston nights! dj NIMBUS decided it was going to be the "spa" sonic experience this evening and crafted a very laid back, jazzy house palate sprinkled with some soul and depth that took the patrons on a voyage through blissful beats and heavenly harmonies. Marquez laid the ground work for the opening two sets ( only mine featured here ) prior to a clinic of beats being administered by Shimza.
