A growing faith can do the impossible. It can keep you calm and safe in a boisterous storm. It can make you think and do the unthinkable. But there’s a problem.
Faith is like a muscle. It has the capacity to grow exponentially and do wonders. But it doesn’t grow on its own. Like muscles, you need to do certain things to expand and grow your faith.
In the Growing Faith series, you will learn 5 practical ways to grow your faith. Tune in over the next 5 weeks and explore the possibility of expanding and growing the capacity of your faith to keep you afloat and victorious in times such as this.

Because of Christ's resurrection, it can change someone's life. Let's look at how three groups of people/individuals' lives were changed when they met Jesus after His resurrection.
At the same time, the question is -- is that still true for us today? Is it possible to encounter God today? The answer is yes.
You will hear three folks in our church who have encountered God in their own personal lives.

Accept one another just as Christ Jesus accepted you to the glory and honor of God the Father. (Rom. 15:7)
Jesus accepted us not because of us, but in spite of us. And that changed everything about us. It brought love, joy and purpose to life. Jesus calls us to do likewise. Accept everyone and anyone the way you and I were accepted by Him – not because of, but in spite of. This, has the potential to change lives beyond our imagination.
This 5-week sermon series comprises of speakers that come from different walks of lives, who will share from the scripture and personal stories of how accepting others (the work of inclusion) could look like.

Decisions determine destiny. The decisions we made significantly contributed to where we are today - personally, professionally, financially, or spiritually. While some of us are thankful to God, others regret the decisions they made. How can we learn to make better decisions so that we live with God's best for our personal lives?

In good times and bad, this is who we are and this is what we do - we give, serve and love. We thrive, not just survive. We leave people better. That's you. That's me. That's who we are as Jesus followers.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
Imagine if all of us begin aspiring to inspire one another with our stories of leveraging ourselves for the benefit of others. Can you imagine the impact and influence we can make? I believe you can. Because some of you are recipients of that. This is the life that Jesus is inviting everyone.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
You and I have the potential to follow Jesus with our selfish motives and benefits. And sometimes Jesus doesn't stop us from getting our selfish ways when we push hard enough.
We may end up getting what we want but what we want may not be what's best for us. What if, what God wants for us becomes what we really want for ourselves as well.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
Salvation is free. It will cost you nothing to receive forgiveness of your sins and eternal life with Jesus. However, following Jesus wholeheartedly will eventually cost you something. Do you still want to follow Him? Before you decide, listen to Jesus explain the cost through this message.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
What's the difference between someone who follows Jesus and one who doesn't? Is there a way to distinguish them? What do you think? Jesus said that there's a hallmark of His followers. So what is it? You might be surprised to find out that it's not something you thought it was. It's transformational. It's revolutionary.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
You owe it to yourself to know what’s in for you in following Jesus. It’s not just receiving an eternal life in heaven, forgiveness of all sins or becoming a better person. It’s something that significantly impacts and influences the way we face our circumstances and make decisions in life on a daily basis. It’s so practical and applicable to everyone and anyone.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
What matters is not so much about where we are today, but where we will be tomorrow. This is true about following Jesus as well. If you desire to be in a better place in following Jesus tomorrow, you need to move on by taking your next step. So what’s your next step?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
Everyone. Anyone. Regardless of who you are, what you believe, how you behave, what you’ve done or wherever you’ve been, you can follow Jesus from where you are and just as you are.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
All of us drift in one way or another at different seasons of our lives for different reasons. The good news is that no matter how far or how bad you drift away from God, His love and mercy never run out on you.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
To always seek to put our faith in God is certainly not an easy thing to do. As we take time to look at the life of someone who's called the Father of faith, we realize he also struggles to put his faith in God all the time. Let's consider how his faith journey could encourage us to put our faith in God.
Speaker: Faith Buan
Jesus asked his disciples, "Where is your faith?" What if this was not a question about possession of faith, but placement of faith. It will not only change the way you understand faith but the way you apply faith.

Christianity has become unnecessarily resistible to the world today. But why? Some have thought that perhaps it’s because Christians have added in new things into the ways of Christianity. This is in fact not true. Rather, it is because we have gone back to an old system way of living. In this series, we will look into the intended system that Jesus Christ came to establish. And may we seek to return to the kind of christianity that’s meant to be irresistible.
This sermon series was preached in late July to August 2018.

Senti Longkumer from Impact Ministry (based in Nagaland) is addressing on one of the questions that God would ask humankind. And as God asks this question, He's not asking for the sake of information, but He is inviting you to a life that truly matters. Watch and find out what He could be asking you today.
Guest Speaker: Senti Longkumer
How do you define God's goodness? And is it possible to reconcile the truth that God is good in the midst of reading so much bad news we live in today? We have Elvin Foong from The Treasure Box Singapore to speak to us on understanding the goodness of God and trusting in it through the life of King David.
Guest Speaker: Elvin Foong
In Genesis 3:8-9, Adam and Eve hid from God when they felt ashamed after eating the forbidden fruit. But God called to the man, “Where are you?” Even today, God is asking “Where are you?”

Dr Scott Callaham from Baptist Theological Seminary preached over Zoom from Psalm 27 - on how we as modern people could seek to faithfully face the future with the ancient Word of God.
Message is preached in both mandarin and english.
“For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Galatians 5:14 ESV
This is a two-part sermon series - "Love Your Neighbour".
In this two-part series, we will explore why it's so important to love our neighbours, why it's difficult to love them and what it takes to love them.

“Come and you will see.”
This was Jesus’ invitation to his first disciples and that invitation is still open today. Will you invite your family members and friends to come and see Jesus for themselves?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
They say, an elephant never forgets!
There is a tendency for us to forget or cease to care who God is, what He has done for us, who we are in Christ, what we've learned from God thru life events, and so on... Such spiritual “amnesia” can rob us of our joy and purpose in life.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
We started the series “Emerging Better and Stronger” to understand God’s role in the difficulties in our lives. Now, we have a choice - how do we respond to any crisis? Do we get angry, give up? Or do we get better, grow stronger? Remain faithful, be thankful?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
As we enter Phase 2 of the re-opening of our economy, we are cautious that the virus still exists and hence not able to congregate physically as a church. The pandemic has brought rough waves to everyone. Lives have been overturned. In some places, unjust and malice have led to unrest and violence, adding to the chaos.
In the midst, many ask, where is God in this crisis? Why does God allow such crisis to happen? With His power, surely He could have prevented it?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
“Tough times never last, but tough people do.” This quote by Robert H Schuller, has been timeless and often used to encourage and motivate.
In the previous sermon, we learnt that God in His greatest action of love, came and suffered alongside His people. Let’s find out why, then, we should persevere in tough times.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
We have all been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is an unprecedented global crisis. We didn’t choose the crisis; it chose us. But we now have a choice what we can do in response to the crisis. Let’s not allow the crisis to “go to waste”. We can emerge better and stronger from the situation that we’re in.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
Did you know that your family currently has the potential to influence and shape future families? In fact, it has always been that way.
Question is, how have you been doing it? More importantly, do you know that there’s one life-transforming way of influencing and shaping future families for generations?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
Reconciliation in the family is one of the hardest things to do. Why is that so? And why should we still pursue reconciliation in spite of its challenges?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
One "rule" of relationships in the family can improve the harmony among family members, and that can transform the whole family.
In the second sermon of the “Family” series, we study on family attitudes and principles centered on our God.
Family. This word is filled with so much emotions, memories and experiences for all of us. Some love it, others may hate it.
Family. We all have one. Some of us are thankful for the one we came from, while others want to move out and have their own.
Family. Be it the one we currently have or the one we look forward to have, we want our family to be better. But what does better look like?
This sermon will touch on conflicts.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
In the last of the series ‘Don’t’, we find out how overcoming doubts may allow us to be faithful in God’s promises.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
In Matthew 6:27, Jesus taught, “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
This week, we continue the sermon series “Don’t” by confronting our penchant to worry.
Perhaps you are a ‘natural worrier’ who worries a lot, or you occasionally let things infiltrate your thoughts, but we’ve probably all struggled with worries in our lives.
And in this climate of uncertainty and crisis, how then do we find peace and have faith in Christ?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
We’re surrounded by many things that naturally cause us to fear, worry and doubt.
But Jesus tells us: Don’t fear. Don’t worry. Don’t doubt. How is that even possible?
But what if it IS possible? It can change the way you and I live.
In this sermon, we look at what Jesus said to his disciples on why they should not fear.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
What difference does Easter make for us today? The answer is, a significant difference. It makes a significant difference today as it did on the first Easter day.

Good Friday Message
We believe it’s just a matter of time Coronavirus will no longer affect our our lives, our relationships, our world and our destiny on earth. But just imagine with me, what if that’s not true. What if this virus continues on with no time limit. What if this virus is more serious than we thought. That’s just imagining. But what if there’s really such a virus....?
Speaker: Ayan Murry
When the Covid-19 pandemic is over, what story about our faith do we want to tell? When our circumstances worsen, our faith sometimes weakens. Is that the story we will tell? Or, do we want to tell a story that will inspire people to trust and follow Jesus even more? Find out how we can create a story that’s inspiring and worth telling.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
Due to Covid 19, we began our first livestream service on 29 March 2020. Here is a word of encouragement from our Lead Pastor, in light of what's going on in this challenging season.
Speaker: Ayan Murry
As a church community, we see that God gave us the vision to grow as a healthy church that is for people outside and inside our community. Beginning 2020, we kicked off this sermon series which is largely based on Peter Scazzero's book "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality".
(The introduction sermon and Part 2 of the series are not available.)
When a smoke detector goes off, it signals that there’s a fire somewhere in the house. So you don’t just check the smoke detector, but you check for fire.
What this smoke detector is to the house, your emotions are to the soul. Your emotions are signals that there may be a “fire” inside your soul. If that is the case, then simply dealing with your emotions alone is like checking the smoke detector and ignoring the fire. That can be disastrous.
So, what is this “fire” that your emotions may be signalling to you and what can you do about it?

What do you do when there is nothing you can do?
A season where you are stuck. A season of helplessness. A season of failure or defeat. A season where you can’t see what God is doing, or quite honestly, doubt if God is doing anything at all. You probably have been there. If not, you could get there. This season is also known as the “dark night of the soul.”
And nobody likes it.
What if such a season in life is an opportunity to shed light into the dark recesses of our soul and lead us into a deeper transformation.
You don’t want to miss it, do you?

We are a busy people living in a bustling world. Even when we’re not actually busy, we find means to fill our time with anything but rest. Somehow, we feel that something is wrong if we are not being “productive”. And Christians desire even more to be productive, for we want our lives to be lived fruitfully for God.
Yet a "productive" person may not necessarily be fruitful in Christ. You can’t grow a relationship with God if you don’t pause to be with Him. And you can’t examine your life or look beneath the surface of your life, if you don’t give time to do so.
Let’s look into a kind of rhythm of life that allows us to be fruitful from the inside out.

No one can escape from experiencing loss and grief in our lifetime. It is a reality we do not like. To some Christians, experiencing grief, anger and sadness is viewed as something is wrong with their faith. Hence, it becomes a pain that is treated inappropriately, ignored or buried deep within ourselves. Such wounds fester and eventually crush our spirit.
On the other hand, if you seek to deal with your losses and grief in the light of Christ, transformation happens. How does that look like?

There’s a saying that paints a picture of many of our lives. It goes like this: “Jesus may be in your heart, but grandpa is in your bones.”
In other words, you may choose to become a Jesus follower, but in reality you continue to live your life, consciously or unconsciously, by the “commandments” and “rules” you inherited from and internalised in your family of origin.
Perhaps that’s why some of us are unable to experience the newness of life although being in Christ. What should we do? What can you do?

As we have entered the new year, considering the things that God wants us to do, we might feel the tasks ahead to be daunting. Let's look at how Nehemiah approached his daunting task of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, and consider how we could apply it for ourselves.

In this series, we look into what it means to be a church, and consider how we can move forward in light of what God has intended for us as a church community.
Please note that what is shared from Part 3 - Part 6 of this series are specifically for our church, in light of sharing 3 year vision with our community. But we believe it could also encourage anyone who may come across to hear the message.
