With one day to go before the weekend graces us with its beautiful presence once again, it kind of makes sense to kick these notes off discussing a bar fight. A guy was drinking at a place called Deadbeats in Rhode Island when his musical taste caused the equivalent of Angi on brown liquor when three dudes dragged him out of the bar and broke his jaw during a rough up. The song selected that set the enraged drunks off was not specified because the person who wrote the article clearly did not know how to do their job properly. Like, the one thing you needed to know and probably wanted to discover while reading through being absent is a real tease. With the meat of the story missing, you would assume maybe the bar owner could offer up the rage against the jukebox track but he is pretending like nothing ever happened. So, since there is nothing but bones in this story to pick off of, we added our own bits of meat to create a feast. Like, Angi is known for going to a place with a digital jukebox and she will go and load it up with her weekly Bubble Crush Monster Fest app money so she can play all her songs and skip anyone else's so she can hear what she wants. However, this is not about her causing fights but the songs that come on that make the studio crew want to throw hands. For Angi, it's Blues Traveler and though we used "Run Around" as an example, anything with a harmonica is sending her to yank the hoops off. In what should probably be considered as a warning, Mike offered that if Blues Traveler came on, he would be dancing while throwing darts. Angi, as she's told us plenty of times before, hates anyone who plays harmonica because the noise is grating on her ears but also all harmonica players are apparently egomaniacs. Oh man, and then you get the ones like John Popper or Bob Dylan with the whole harmonica cage setup so they can use it and keep playing and Angi is going to meltdown and then beatdown. Though in a way, this is a good trip to keep in your pocket because if you put harmonica on, you're definitely getting a beating but you're also forcing her out of the bar which is good as we all know the words "closing time" and "ma'am, we think you've had enough," don't seem to register with her. As for Marris, if you play any kind of country music, he is out. He'll need a shot and a full beer to attempt to endure it but it bothers him. On the country spectrum, Angi will also head out if you start playing some Taylor (wait until she finds out my girl and Angi's soon to be friend Annette is a Swiftie.) Angi did add though that she believes country is good for bars as that kind of music encourages drinking. That leaves us with Mike, who hates "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba which has the exact opposite effect on Angi and Marris who hear it and want to start partying. Personally, I get it because I have that rule that when someone mentions drinking, it's time to break out the Captain White handle and just get loose.

Hump Day is here and that kind of makes sense why Angi found herself confused by the context of "Summerween," which is indeed celebrating the spooky season during the summer and not fresh dongs baking in the sun as Angi had assumed. However, men being on the brain makes sense because our Daily Discussion Topic this morning found us passing the mic to the ladies after an incident during the Jamaican wedding. That's right, middle of the week and we're finally getting to something wild that happened at the overcooked wedding. As 50 or so people baked outside, the lovely couple stood at the altar with their local Jamaican man officiant. The issue arose when the vows were exchanged and the officiant turned to the groom and said "but you own her now." The collective look and mental daggers each of the women shared could probably turn into some kind of reel because a statement like that in 2024 is prime cancellation material. However, Angi was sure all the men were absolutely thrilled at the idea of a woman being their property and so she turned the floor to the ladies to tell us what they would make their man do if they could. I feel like this would also be the proper place to add that after hearing this, Jay the Straight turned to Angi and said "let's renew our vows in Jamaica so I own you." Yeah, we're turning this into Man Hate Wednesday so let's just get into the CVS receipt of issues Angi brought along with her. First up, Jay the Straight must take a cuddle class since he is not a cuddler (I feel like a cuddle class isn't going to make him want to cuddle more but I'm a man so I think my thought is invalid here.) Now Angi loves to cuddle and be the little spoon but Jay the Straight is very herky, jerky and twitchy. To be fair, he does have restless leg syndrome and we've heard about him kicking her but she wants that to cease along with complaining that his arms are dying when he's forced to hold her. Seeing as this show is only four hours, we made room for just one more complaint/fix which was that he stops leaving his half empty water bottles all around Floptopia. Since we are equal opportunists here, Marris went next to say a ton of his ex's felt he should take dance classes since he has three left feet (and you know what they say about that, three legs ... giggity.) Mike thinks that his wife would want him to ditch the phone sometimes seeing as he practically lives on it. Right, we've collected the studio crew's thoughts so let's head to the Request Line. Out the gate we had Joe, whose video game playing makes his woman nuts and led him to proclaim that women hate it when men are happy (he's not wrong.) Katie wanted men to experience cramps and the suffering that comes with being on your period as the amount of times to be told to "just smile." After complaining about being fat, bloated, moody and crappy and told how if a stranger tells her to "just smile," Angi basically explained how to drive her to kill. Pamela would want to keep her man from procrastinating because that tends to take six months and if she resolves the issue without him, he gets mad. Lunchbox wants to grow for his wife seeing as his father died two months ago and he is having a hard time. Lastly, Dominick would change working too much as he is a traffic controller and does 70 to 90 hours a week. Well, today was supposed to be a lovely day with beautiful weather and the fact that we are one step closer to another weekend. However, Angi decided to upend all of this by getting real disgusting by opening her mouth and unleashing a truly gross Daily Discussion Topic. For reasons I have yet to understand, we decided to look at the most disgusting things people have put in their mouths. Now, I know your mind went right into the gutter but we were skipping the obvious dirty answers and looked more toward edible and inedible objects. For example, remember when parents used to stuff soap in their kids mouths when they sounded like the studio does when we're off air. Mike understood that all too well as he once got the soap as a kid as did one of the survey respondents who was drunk and thought a soap sample outside a store was food. Other offered options included chewing on an Advil liquid gel cap, having a seagull poop into their mouth, accidentally drinking windshield wiper fluid as a kid and having a cockroach fall into their mouth when they were drinking out of the bathroom faucet. It gets worse still though, like the cat who sneezed into its owners mouth when they yawned, a sleepwalker eating half a bowl of potpourri thinking it was cereal and let's never forget the horror that is Chinese century eggs. If you don't know what that is Google it but don't blame me if you do. Disgusted yet? I sure am and it only keeps getting worse as we got the studio examples. Angi was at a party in high school and she drank out of a beer bottle that she thought was hers but turned out to be one filled with chew spit. Before we got to Marris' actual example, there was food mentioned in coconut sparkling water and durian fruit which he could actually attest to as not being so bad. He said that durian actually tastes decent if you can get past the smell. As for his example though, he once had a baby puke in his mouth which is just lovely. As for Mike, when he was a kid, he ate dog poop which clearly means his spirit animal is Divine. Adding in my own, I once licked an orange push pop straight from the freezer and it was fuzzy. Now, if your stomach is still intact, let's move to the Request Line to see if we can make your breakfast/lunch/dinner come racing up. Rob thought he saw a Whopper on the ground of his house when he was a kid but when he popped it in his mouth, it turned out to be a tick that had come off the dog. (I lost it over that one, I'll never be the same again.) Head Roadie Bob saved his choking daughter and got a mouth full of iron supplement for it. Tony drank a Coke with a bee in it and it ended up stinging his tongue. Weirdly enough, Mike also had that happen to him. Angi took a moment then to readdress her fear of bees because she has never been stung by one and just assumes it would make her blow up and die if she was. Ashley had a nose picker kid who shoved a finger full into her mouth. Katie is a medical assistant and while swabbing a kids throat, ended up getting a mouth full of wet cough. Lastly, Head Roadie Tom had his son spray pee into his mouth when he was changing him as a baby. Even though we are well rested and Angi survived her almost chance encounter with a hurricane completely unscathed, for whatever reason we were in a mood this morning. That's right, it's Monday morning and we are looking to get mad so the Daily Discussion Topic tackled a current online challenge created to get you furious. Without using politics as a jump point, start a fight in five words or less. There were plenty of examples to work with in case you are looking to cause strife in your workplace or homestead today. "Pineapple on pizza is awesome!" (I know people who would throw hands over that) "Mayo is trash." "Coffee is nasty." "Wine is better with ice." (Wanna see Angi take off her hoops, tell her that) "Dogs are better than cats." (I see nothing wrong with that one) "Star Wars is boring." (Walt would like a word with you) "Game of Thrones is stupid." "Goodfellas is mid." "Shawshank Redemption is overrated." "Brad Pitt was never hot." (Angi just got out the brass knuckles) "Will Ferrell is not funny." "PC's are better than Macs." (Marris agrees on this) "Nobody cares about hockey." "The Beatles are overrated." "Nirvana wasn't that good." "Breakdancing isn't a sport." The biggest one ever, which especially involves women, is telling them to "calm down." For the record, if you ever tell Angi to "calm down," she will literally explode (I know from personal experience.) As for the crew Michael said "Lebron is better than Jordan." Angi's pick was "ketchup on hotdogs is awesome." Marris decided to use this to make Angi mad with "Jordan's are overhyped" and because she was wearing some today, she almost killed him. In response, Angi told Marris "soccer sucks, especially Arsenal." With the studio crew completely enraged, Angi took to the Request Line to cause more festering anger to boil over. Mary's offering was "Taylor Swift, greatest singer ever!" Angi, noted hater of all things Taylor, offered that she got out of Top 40 before her second resurgence and she would have quit had she not. Tammy picked "ketchup on steak" because she does it and enjoys it which made the studio crew furious. Eric hit it out of the park telling Angi "you're just like your mother." Oddly enough, he would have no issue being compared to his dad but she was big mad about being compared to mom. Sarah said "The Avengers aren't cool" which led to a rabbit hole of Thor, "Lady Spiderwoman" aka Madame Web and The Thing. Brandon suggested "Sox are better than Cubs." Alan brought in "NASCAR isn't a real sport." We capped with Matt saying "You got some ugly babies." We've made it to hump day and for some of us, that just means the week is half over. However, for Angi that means she is one day closer to her possible doom (I know, I say this every week but this time it may actually happen.) See, she is headed for a destination wedding in Jamaica tomorrow (which you can read more about in the rest of the notes) and so our show was very wedding centric this morning. The Daily Discussion Topic for example, tackled a couple who don't want to have a booze filled wedding (why even go?) because they don't drink. For this reason they aren't keen on an open bar and though they don't care if others drink, they don't want to pay for it. Apparently, somewhere along the lines cash bar got lost and Angi immediately put her foot down saying not to invite her if there is no bar. To be fair though, if they had an open bar with her there, well.... Anyway, the point that was trying to be made here is that if you are having a 6 hour party and there is no liquid courage to enhance the funtivities, people are not going to have fun dancing (and will more than likely sneak in flasks.) The point is to cater to the needs of your guests who are there to celebrate you but at the same time, they want to let loose and have fun. Now, that isn't to say that there are some rules that are fine including no kids, which Angi enforced at hers. This was because relatives were coming in from out of state and she wanted them to enjoy Chicago without being bogged down by brats. Of course, enforcement of this could only go so far as people insisted they bring their demon spawns and some of them even came for poor suffering Jay the Straight telling him his mother would have been disgusted by the imposed rule. That wasn't the only drama as there was also that thing with the guy selling cocaine and an uncle that got so drunk he was carried out and then came back for more an hour later. As for myself, I'm a wedding menace and have stories about my pants falling off, falling drunkenly into the DJ booth, peeing in an unused hall of a venue, a car accident and so much other nonsense that there isn't room here for. All of this nonsense had us asking the roadies what went down at either their weddings or ones they attended. Up first on the Request Line was Sarah who saw the best man propose to his girlfriend in the middle of the best man speech and then get thrown out by the pissed off groom. Jim's mother in law showed up which was enough to wreck things plenty but then she swapped out booze on the table for coffee services. Carter had a stranger throw beer labels at him and it made him want to resort to violence but our roadies are stand up citizens so he held back but he was pissed. Amy's ex husband was at a wedding with her and while she was in the bathroom, he requested their wedding song to the DJ. When she came out, he dragged her to the dance floor for an awkward dance. Mark made a best man speech saying he heard it should be as long as the groom is making love to his wife for the first time and then ended it a second later. Welcome to the brightest show this side of Times Square (not brains obviously, I'm talking about lighting.) That's right, we are coming right out the gate with a take so hot, you'd think it was going to live forever (a little teaser for the other part of these notes.) So Michael earned his first taste of Angi insanity when he suggested that the world needs a new Mr. Rogers and of course, this upset our unhinged hostess greatly. After all, there is a place in the world for these great souls like Mr. Rogers and Bob Ross (shout out to his up and coming replacement, Yazan Spice.) Anyway, Angi sighed because she grew up in a world of trust no one and more so, do not trust them if they seem too wholesome for this world. Buckle up kids, we're entering slander territory for her and libel for me for writing out her deranged word vomiting. You see, she feels as though there is something innately sinister about that deceased good guy next door Mr. Rogers. After all, who in their right mind as a parent would let their kids go hang out next door with a single man who has a bunch of puppets in his house (don't worry, trolley gets it too.) That one kid who was always there feeding the fish, what was Mr. Rogers fed him afterwards! Marris, one of the two people in the studio who knew that this was a TV show and not real life (as I'm assuming Angi assumed,) said that nothing happened. Well, Angi was not buying that and she continued down the path of slanderation. We weighed how he had a long career and nothing was said but Angi said it was more about not besmirching his name (which makes know sense because everyone loves to cancel others.) Angi directed her point then to saying intern HP knows if someone is bad and even though Marris explained that nothing has ever been said about Fred Rogers, Angi pulled out her next unhinged point. It is not okay to send kids next door to play with a single man's fish, puppets and train which I'm assuming were all supposed to be euphemisms. As she pointed out, he was trying to pull a choo choo train on you. This then transitioned to coming for the mailman and Mr. Rogers "allegedly" (I'm not going down for this one Angi) having a van with a Playstation and candy in it. She made a point saying that whenever someone is too good to be true, there's always a scandal attached to it like how Mr. Beast is currently going down or remember how Mother Teresa would beat those girls. The moment that sweater went on and those kids came over, his pants grew three sizes that day. As Marris explained how all scandal ridden children come to light like those Barney brats and the Nickelodeon kids who got their toes sucked by that disgusting pig showrunner. No one has come out against Mr. Rogers but Angi explained they are all secretly in a group with the Michael Jackson kids and they're all trying to just protect his legacy. We ended this non-stop train of getting us plenty of mad people and phone calls from estates by having Angi go after Bozo as well even though she had to be reminded that his name was not "that scary ass clown." In fact, she doesn't trust any adults in a costume that entertains kids (and this is after she got felt up by Southpaw on Friday and plotted a threesome with Benny the Bull and Tommy Hawk.)

Well, that was certainly a wild weekend and after everything that went down, I hope you're a bit sober because there is a lot to unpack today. FYI, I'm not sober but that's beyond the point, let's get into this steaming pile. So Angi was at the show event at Cork & Kerry on Friday when Southpaw came in and tried to knock Tommy Hawk out of her DM's and then she went to a Top 5 of All Time Metallica show (when pressed what was knocked out of her top 5, she didn't know because she barely knows what planet she's on most days.) This was followed by a trip to Serb Fest which got her thinking about culture and created a Daily Discussion Topic for us. Angi sought to hear about funny or weird things from people's cultures so we started with hers. Promaja, which is a superstition about leaving two windows open at the same time and them causing a health risk while also allowing for the devil to come in. However, if you tuck your shirt into your pants, it keeps the devil from being able to get to your kidneys. Right, so her people are nuts, let's get to something more grounded in reality from Marris. He explained to us why smoke alarms are always chirping in black peoples houses. Aside from the fact that they never get changed, it has to do with different ones going off at separate times and not knowing which is the one that is going bad so they all just get ignored. In fact, he has vivid memories of being at his grandma's house and playing in the basement while that familiar chirp was going. I also have vivid memories but they mostly come from playing video games online. Anig and Michael both explained that this is a no go in their respective houses because it makes their dogs go nuts. Speaking of Michael, his contribution as a Brit is how much they love to use the "c" word. I personally think I must have been British in a past life because that is my favorite word and I use it to pepper pretty much all of my sentences off air. As for his white American side, he offered the love of Ed Hardy and unseasoned white chicken. I'd offer up mine but I don't know anything interesting about being Lithuanian, Polish and Greek so let's just go right to the Request Line. Kristen is Armenian as they have the evil eye. This is used to ward off bad stuff but if you happen to not be wearing yours, her 98 year old grandmother will pinch your butt which also works as protection it seems. Erin was married to a Serb for 16 years and learned that sitting on concrete causes hemorrhoids and eating popsicles in the winter will give you a sore throat. Chris is Scottish and told us how the unicorn is the national animal of Scotland. He assumed they picked it because they drank too much. Jeff called into discuss how Polack's are cheap and always trying to save money. Eric is Sicillian and he has to get out of bed right foot first or else! If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Well, today has been an absolutely insane time and I don't even know where to start to construct and discuss this Chainsaw Friday craziness so let's look at tonight's Cork & Kerry tour stop and Angi giving birth to a new show member. First things first, Cork & Kerry tonight, there will be two pairs of Metallica tickets and a chainsaw. That's right, someone in legal decided it would be okay to let these two dingdongs wander drunkenly around the bar with a chainsaw. Here's the thing though, this was meant to be a prop chainsaw to celebrate Chainsaw Friday but that was not enough for Angi. No, she put her foot down as the host of this trainwreck show and wanted to give away the chainsaw. It was meant to be given away at the next tour stop but because she runs the asylum, she is going to buy another one and give the one they are bringing with them tonight away. So if you see someone wandering around The Loop with a chainsaw tonight, congratulate our winner and pray they aren't a serial killer. Speaking of people we hope aren't killers, also at Cork & Kerry tonight will be the newest member of the Angi Taylor Show. See, when the ratings are incredible like ours are, the big bosses allow for the morning zoo to expand a little by opening purse strings that are normally tighter than Marris' ass. Gone are the days of a pizza party for ratings, we are getting a third chair in the studio. His name is Michael Mason, he just moved to Chicago this week from Denver and he is a Cubs fan, which means Angi is alone on epic loser White Sox island. While the roadies will get a chance to meet Michael (and his wife) at Cork & Kerry tonight, he officially begins the show on Monday. The "8 foot tall, tatted up social media sweetheart," deserves an absolutely amazing Chicago Welcome (which is a little different than a San Diego Thank You.) Since he is new to town and we on this show are notorious pranksters (see: a-hole's,) we're going to have a little fun next week with a round of wrong answers only places in Chicago Michael needs to go visit. That's right, barely stepping foot in the studio and Angi is already looking for ways to make this guy regret being here. Either way, if you're going out tonight go say hi to our new boy or if you're going to be busy doing one of the 800 things there are to do this weekend in the city, tune in on Monday morning to meet him properly.

Well, Thursday has arrived once more and with a big event coming up tomorrow, you would think all is right in the world. However, you're listening to this show so you should know that is never going to be the case so let's break out the next round of Shenanigansgate as Angi attacked Marris this morning over his attempt to screw her. Now, I could see why your mind would land in the gutter hearing that (and more so if you listened to the Daily Discussion Topic because that felt like doing a 3 day bender of rails and booze) but you need to get your head right. The alleged screw job is coming via the iHeart Fantasy Football League which Marris is the commissioner of and Angi has made to the Super Bowl of for the last two years. The thing is, both of those years, Angi lost to a co-worker named Andrew both times but a change of career made it seem that she would be a lock this year. Andrew up and quit iHeart and so he technically is no longer an employee which means he shouldn't be playing this year. However, commissioner Marris has decided that Andrew needs to play this year since he is the reigning champ and needs to defend his throne. That's right, the guy who doesn't work at the company is playing in the company league and Angi is furious. While screaming that all this is against the rules, Marris told Angi that he is the one who creates the rules and therefore, she has no say so. Marris runs his league like a dictatorship so it's get in line or get out. Angi, enraged at the ruling about the rules, threatened not to play but then changed her mind and will play. Obviously, the issue here is Angi does not want Andrew to beat her again for a third year in a row (and seeing as she loses Employee of the Quarter all the time, she should be used to taking L's.) Angi then offered another scenario, what if Jay the Straight wanted in even though he doesn't work at iHeart. Marris explained that if they were short players, he would be allowed a spot but spoiler alert: they're not. Angi tried to argue that he could be the champ at his new job (which could be literally anywhere as iHeart pays the staff pennies.) She also didn't understand the need for a legacy when he no longer works there so why bother upholding his achievements? Marris explained that if he were to quit (let's face it, HR firing him is more likely,) he too would want to be able to defend if he was champion. Even more frustrating for Angi was the acknowledgement that if Andrew won again, he would be back the following year to fight once more. She argued that not working at iHeart meant you no longer get the perks (pizza parties, low pay) like the station BBQ. Marris added though that he's seen more randos at those events than people who quit and came back. With that in mind, the decision is made and Andrew stays but Angi is planning on overthrowing Marris at some point.

Middle of the week is the perfect way to segway into middle aged (well, maybe a bit older, the way things are sagging on Angi you'd think she's like 110.) This morning, we explored aging up by breaking out the good old Sarah McLachlan to backdrop Angi's newest feud. That's right, it's Angi vs. the USPS but not for reasons you would assume (and by that I mean it's more delusional than you could probably imagine.) Her ire was spawned from a (incorrect) belief that her mail people are trolling her because after checking the mail for the first time in 5 days, 13 of the 17 pieces of mail were from AARP. On the cover of this month's issue (I'm assuming they come monthly, old people like Angi die pretty fast so they need to pump those things out in short order,) was Kevin Costner (who was probably complaining how he lost his house financing a garbage project.) While crying that she didn't want to learn about how to fight "sitting disease," she then turned her ire from the post office to imaginary people who signed her old ass up for it. Of course, in a rare moment of lucidity in her early onset brain, it dawned on her that she may have actually signed up for it because of discounts. Though she hooted and hollered how she didn't want AARP and wasn't ready for it (see: she is,) she then found an article about puzzles and ways to help sugar cravings. Of course, we were back in the red once she stumbled upon the lightest mobility scooter (for those of you wondering, yes she was thumbing through the magazine on air, hence these weird jumping points.) Marris added that perhaps we should look into a mobility scooter because the last time she got on something with wheels, she almost fell into the Chicago River. We moved on then to an article on Marilu Henner and Jewel, who has great cans according to Angi. As Marris tried to explain to her that some of this stuff could be helpful, Angi turned more pages and yelled about tightrope artists and mariachi bands (I don't know if that was in the magazine or if she was having a senior moment.) After then going on about how she doesn't want to read articles from AARP (while reading articles from AARP,) she returned once again to blaming the postal workers for this nonsense. Marris, again attempting to be the world's best orderly when it comes to dealing with early onset patients, said she does have her supper at 4 or 5 P.M. because she's usually in bed by like 7. Somehow, this led us back to sitting disease (I know all of this reads like a jumbled mess but this is how it was on air so don't yell at me!) and how it diminishes brain function (like we have more room for that with her.) Then we were back to Kevin Costner again before settling on Angi probably needing a life alert bracelet and The Clapper as she tends to fall a lot since she's older than the first submarine (1620.)

Well, that was a nice little breather from having to come up with witty things to say every morning but while Marris walked more than he has in years and Angi spent two days throwing up from heat stroke, I was drunk and watching the Lollapalooza sets from the comfort of home. With that done for the year and Metallica looming, it only makes sense to look at cool things from childhood as a Daily Discussion Topic. Well actually, that was me trying to make this more appealing because we're really going to explore things the roadies weren't allowed to do as kids that others got to do. Spawned from a point about how the royal bloodline brats are not allowed to do certain things, it's actually kind of crazy how many restrictions are put in place. For example, no shellfish (because they might be poisoned "or something" according to Angi.) No travel together (obviously.) No wearing black during the day. They are not allowed to keep gifts that they are given. They are not allowed to play Monopoly as it tends to result in fist fights (or in this case, like duels to the death.) Even though the royal kids clearly have it bad, that wasn't to say there were things that Angi and Marris weren't allowed to do. For example, Angi was never allowed to have sleepovers because her mothers husband at the time was a drunk (like step father, like daughter.) Luckily, she was allowed to stay at other peoples house which I'm sure always went down like that episode of Roseanne where Becky got a hangover after drinking "tornadoes." As for Marris, he was not allowed to have sugary cereals which meant the Marris household was all Kix and Cheerios. However, when he would go to a friend's house, he was chowing down on Apple Jacks (which if you've tasted lately, are disgusting.) I can't think of things I wasn't allowed to do, my parents allowed us to be a bit out of control and latchkey so let's go to the Request Line and the roadies, shall we. Shane wasn't allowed to watch TV at all even though his parents got to enjoy it in the comfort of their bedrooms. Joanna was not allowed to go to concerts (like Bruce Springsteen) so she just stopped telling her mom where she was going. The assumption was she would go to a concert and get loaded. Tammy was not allowed to go to all night roller rink lock ins even though her brother was. Mike was not allowed to have a TV in his room which isn't as bad as Shane at least. Angi too was not allowed to have a TV in her room and everything she watched was monitored. Roger was not allowed to keep his KIϟϟ collectors cards because they looked like "devils." Sharri was not allowed to do after school activities, go to dances, do sports or cheerleading and she never figured out why her single dad would not allow it. As for Angi, she didn't get to do stuff as well but that's because she was poor. A good Thursday morning (which will lead into a stormy Thursday afternoon) but what does it matter because Lollapalooza is here finally. While some of us will be streaming the four day fest (I am some of us,) others like our very own Ninja Turtle/Wolverine hybrid will be found wandering the ground. The same could be said for Angi, who will spend most of her time trying to remember where she exactly buried all her drugs. While it should be a completely inebriated good time, over on the other side of the world, patrons are not so lucky. In our very Olympic centric show this me, we found out that Paris is apparently not the place to be when it comes to enjoying athletes performing at their peak. This is not a knock on the people who are giving it their all but the event itself because it turns out booze is not served at any of the Olympic venues. That's right, if you want to be a soccer hooligan, you're going to need to do it sober since all the wine and beer has been locked up (to be fair, they probably just assumed Angi was coming for the show and wanted to be precautious.) Needless to say, fans are pissed that they can't enjoy a cold one on 100 degree days and with good reason. If I'm going to watch people compete, I want to be completely bombed (which is good advice on how to get through five of these shows a week as well.) Marris reminded us that when Qatar had the World Cup, fans were also not allowed to drink in the stadiums but there was at least tailgating outside to get fans in the proper mood. Worse than no drinks in the stadium where pommel horse bro and large dong swimmer are is that there are no venues within the area that people can get turnt up at as well. They do offer soda but if that soda isn't filled with booze, why even bother drinking it? Of course, there is a stipulation (shocker) that the VIP lounges allow people to have booze. So not only are you paying an arm, leg and spleen to go to these events, you also have to pay extra or be special to get your hands on some hooch. Needless to say (even though I just rambled on about it,) people are furious. A guy who came all the way from Albuquerque found out the hard way after walking up and down the streets looking for refreshment only to find it did not exist. Angi said she would demand a refund and Marris said he would go anywhere else. The smartest solution though is pretty simple honestly, just go wine country while in France and watch the events on TV. That's what we're doing here and we have been drunk for days now.

Well, we're smack dab in the middle of the week and the heat hell certainly has not ceased. The same can also be said for Angi's bad attitude but that is something that never seems to cease when it comes to this show. Since Angi has guests coming in today for Lollapalooza, she needed to get a fight out of her system and she had the perfect excuse to jump into one. Now, I should offer up that she did open this with "Am I the A-hole" and that she hates when a dumb disagreement turns into a nuclear fight that goes off the rails. Just because I'm stating this here doesn't mean I believe what she is saying but I have to give proper dictation of what occurred on the show this morning. Anyway, while watching the Olympics with eternally suffering Jay the Straight yesterday, he casually mentioned offhand how Lebron James is the GOAT. Angi, known Michael Jordan stan, was quick to disagree. However, this kicked off the perfect condition for an Angi Taylor Ring of Fire. Further fueling this gasoline covered rage was Jay the Straight explaining how great Lebron is for starting a bunch of school. Angi the Untrusting added that the whole thing is a money grab like the Kanye schools or every church ever. With the fuse lit and burning away, the fight was on and Angi went off. With the wanna fight, let's fight mentality strong, she immediately jumped on the gas lighting train because she was feeling froggy. Perhaps all those comments I made about her being an Ozempig yesterday didn't help but she went crazy (nothing new there.) This led to a discussion about a woman talking about being on her period and figuring it was a good day to start a fight with her husband because she was feeling it (I get that, starting fights when in a bad mood makes sense.) Obviously, now that cooler heads have prevailed, Angi is admitting that she was wrong and she was sorry but that had to be done on the show because we all know Jay the Straight doesn't listen to this mess. I think this was also partially inspired by Angi seeing old people kicking each other on the beach in the water with the sentiment "how many sorrys in a lifetime?" (In this relationship, I think the two of them are aiming for some type of Guiness World Record.) With a little more consideration, Angi added she may say sorry in person and she probably should because when she was in bed, she sent a "bunch" of texts including "going to wake up mad." "We'll be fine" was Jay's response and well, from this segment, clearly the answer is they're not.

Oh man, it is a hot and swittie (Angi's words, not mine) Tuesday and while most of us will be sweating our asses off, the same can not be said for Angi. That's right, I'm going to need all of you to do your funeral wailing garb, get out those black armbands we were saving for when a house falls on the witch and pour one out because we lost a real (fat) one today. That's right, Angi's world famous ass is no more and we are left to mourn what used to be. Now for a little backstory, Angi is going through (has gone, is still, a little bit of both) menopause and she had a long bout of depression (working on this show does that to people, trust me.) In turn, she gained 20 pounds and she was having an issue losing it because she has had no metabolism (or self control) during menopause. To remedy this stubborn 20, Angi has done what everyone else who has money does, she became an Ozempig. She went on it in May and now at the end of July, she has lost that 20 pounds but as a side effect, she's also lost her ass. That's right, she has Ozempic ass and it has swallowed up her badunkin doughnut and turned it into a munchkin. There is still a little meat there but the bubble but is gone and now it looks like a deflated bag of those over the hill balloons. Though she knew it could have happened, the big and juicy McDouble looks like a Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger (food analogies felt fitting for this.) Luckily, she didn't get Ozempic face because that's basically all she has left since her back now matches her front (flat, sagging, dead.) The nice thing was her experience gave us a confirmation that Ozempic works as they say where you eat 3 bites and you find yourself full. However, in turn, your body basically devours your ass because it is hungry. There is also the added bonus that Marris is basically getting to eat all of Angi's food which means he's saving money but then again, most of her meals are wine so that's a trade off. She did add though that if you love food, Ozempic is not for you as it ruins eating. Of course though, being this show, we tried to discover ways to remedy this problem. Marris actively offered to donate some of his thick and juicy ass to the long back bitch because that was the only body party she had left to be proud of. We also figured that we could pray to Saint Anthony to find her lost ass by burying a statue of him ... in the yard (where did you think that was going?) Maybe some squats, cornbread and beans and rice could return it but I think we should just move on (like we will when she dies and the show starts on a Monday with Marris and a new host.) For those who want to mourn the deflated balloon though, we will be holding a prayer vigil in Grant Park under The Bean at some point ... maybe ... probably not, you know what, we're going to be busy washing our hair so nevermind.

Welcome to a new week where we are going to get rained on, steamed out and then end it spending four days singing, dancing and living the life at Lolla. Before we can get to that though, there are plenty of pressing matters to get to. For example, it seems that scientists have discovered how to keep women alive longer (as if we need that.) It seems that the more they bang in a week, the better chance they have of living longer. That's right, if a woman is having sex more than once a week, she is doing good by her heart health and will tend to live longer. It should be noted that this applies to women 20 - 60 so you know Angi, tick tock. For those who are having sex less than once a week, those poor women have a 70% increased chance of death. Maybe this explains why every time Angi cuts the power to the house to increase a chance of a fling, Jay the Straight always seems to have a headache. Piling onto the death risk increase is depression so if you're sad and no one is slinging booty in your direction, your chances of becoming dirt sausage is increased. Angi looked at it in even simpler terms by explaining that if you're not having sex you probably will be depressed so no wonder these women are keeling over. While Marris saw an accuracy in the "have more sex or die!" campaign, Angi couldn't help but be convinced that this study was done by men. Funny enough though, it turns out men who have sex more than once a week have an increased chance of death so I guess that throws her theory right out the window. All of this is of course ironic in that the reproduction of a species is based on this and it is telling women to get it more but than telling men to give it less. Angi did have a secondary solution which was for women to just jump on the "sisters are doing it with themselves" train and just go girl on girl. Marris was confused about how that exactly worked but relented when he thought he discovered a loophole. Men could simply watch from the sidelines (like it's some kind of sporting event) but Angi was not convinced. She explained that dudes would say sideline view but then wanna jump in. I guess the selling of tickets for the matinee showing of "Scissor Me Timbers" is off the table. Marris then came up with a secondary idea, how about two girls, one guy as everyone gets something beneficial here. This dude math was not doing it for Angi and she suggested that Marris spank it while contemplating this confusing study and leave the girls to their own devices (which works in both my intended way of explaining and a fun play on words.)

It's Chainsaw Friyay once more (thank God, I'm so tired) and that means we have an entire week worth of information that needs to be stuffed inside our brains and processed. After all, how can you possibly forget about ... uh ... what did we discuss on the show this week, does anyone remember? Huh, I guess the point about our brains being at full capacity stands tall here and so a topic about forgetting random useless junk makes most sense for the opening. This morning, Angi gave us a list of useless things that people still have memorized but would probably love to forget. For starters, old phone numbers of childhood friends which is a problem for a ton of people (I think mine are finally starting to fade which is good because I barely associate with those people anymore.) Angi, who on a good day can barely remember things she was told the day before, can still remember her grandparents phone number. Also on the list were the birthdays of old friends which have finally started to dip on Marris but Angi still has the memory of the birthday of this one girl Stacy (who shared a birthday with her....) Old locker combos, those are gone and were usually gone for Marris too who had the same locker all 4 years of high school and would still forget it all the time. Old classroom seating charts, who could possibly recall those? Angi remembers that her 3rd grade teacher had a crush on Tom Selleck because she had a picture of him on her desk. Someone's first wifi password, no way. The alphabet backwards, which is used for a drunk test, most of us can do that sober. All of the presidents in order, no way. Angi thought she could remember all the states in order and she got half way through before she bombed out of that. How to spell Mississippi which to be fair, everyone should remember. The rules of baseball, who actually learned those? If you ever worked in a grocery store you probably remember that the produce code 4011 is bananas. How to play "Hot Cross Buns" on a recorder, how about "Chopsticks" on piano? We all know the theme song from the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" though for some reason, mine just has the dude slapping everyone. The "Macarena," Marris learned how to do that in gym class. Let's not forget our old video game codes (Up Up Down Down B A B A Start!) Last and definitely not least, all those stupid advertising jingles like the one for Empire which Angi completely botched. All that stuff, forget it and make room for new stuff like that time I was nice on the radio yesterday for the first time in four years.

So, if you listen to my call in, you're going to have seen a new side of me today. That's right, I was challenged by Angi to provide a call that lacked snark, was full of positivity and made them feel warm and fuzzy. That was a call though so you don't have to worry about these notes following that track because these thoughts belong to me and are not allowed to be influenced by the likes of Angi. See that clever little tie in, yeah, I'm about to sell you on the idea of being an influencer. While Angi opened the point pondering how one would feel if their doctor quit his job to start shilling sunglasses on the Gram as an influencer, she soon tossed a sobering stat to go with it. It seems that 54% of people would quit their full time job to become an influencer and that is just wild. 18-60 year olds feel they can really shill proper and probably assume that they would become the next Mr. Beast or Kylie Jenner if only given the chance (see: delusion.) While Angi absolutely hates the word "influencer," 30% of people who were polled already believe they are. What they are doing in shilling for corporations who are taking all their money and getting nothing in return aside from believing people are loving their thoughts, comments and hanging on to their every word (they're not.) On top of that, 64% of people would shill on their social media if they got some kind of treat from a brand. Angi understands the want and desire to do it but quitting your job for it is insane though Marris does see the potential for money out there. The reality these people don't see though is that for those who are making millions off their gig, the literal millions who are making a couple hundred bucks are doing the same thing. Hell, I know several Twitch streamers, from modest sized to fairly large and they do not pull in the dough people think you would. For fun though, if Marris was to quit, he would end up taking up a mantle that showcased video games. He would play them on Twitch, discuss them and do everything he could to continue facilitating a free stream of cash and games. Honestly, he could probably be decent at it and honestly, iHeart probably pays about as much as he'd make on Twitch. As for Angi, in the biggest non shocker of the decade, she would want to become a wino. She would love to go to different vineyards and try different wines (see: alcoholic, drunk, rehab.) Though her skill isn't sommelier level because that requires a functioning brain and like chemistry, it's also wild what they are expected to know. The grapes, fruits, regions, year, time of day, weather, soil and other things that you have to basically be able to science out are not in her DNA. What she wants to do is drink wine (for free) and say if it is amazing or trash. If you were to pair that with being a travel influencer and could stay at different resorts, beaches and suites, it would be a really worthwhile job (see: unobtainable delusion.)

It's that time of the year again (I know that can branch off into so many different variations so I'll let your mind wander for a moment before I get to the actual thing.) That's right, it's Employee of the Quarter time and yet again, Angi "Susan Lucci" Taylor was left holding the coats as she was ignored for the 108th consecutive time. It was not all bad, as Marris was recognized as was HP who apparently has decided that she will allow iHeart to hire her so she can make less money than people who beg for change on the streets. On top of that, known studio hoarder Maria pulled a golden gumball which means much like Marris, she now has a trip anywhere in the world. Defeated but not yet broken, fate fixed that for Angi when she was leaving the building yesterday and took a glass turnstile bar to her worn out catchers mitt. That's right, not only was she essentially ignored during yesterday's celebration of employees but she also ended up breaking her former baby maker. Broken coochie, while not officially recognized as a thing, is now being added to the Angi Taylor endless problems list. Seeing as she can't seem to win anything the station offers up (nor can she make those HR things stick,) Angi is hoping that she might get a chance at some free money. However, as stated, the thing is old, worn down and broken so maybe a couple of pennies and some snacks from the iHeart kitchen is all she will end up getting. The thing is, even if she's had her sagging machine shattered, Angi still loves this job. I mean, there might be the fact that she's been doing it for 30 years and she doesn't know how to do anything else but surely there is more. Actually no, that was all she said, that she is useless outside of gabbing to a bunch of lovely people every morning. For this reason, she loves her job and I finally can mention this is the lead in for the Daily Discussion Topic. This one was pretty simple, you love your job, what do you do? Marris also works in radio (duh) and loves his job as he gets the opportunity to meet tons of people, go to great events and have tons of fun talking to the roadies. In fact, Angi loves it so much that she feels lost and out of place when she is not on air for a week. A combination of FOMO and early onset will do that to you. As for myself, while getting up as early as I do can be hit or miss some days, I too love the ability to entertain, sharpen my writing and of course, make fun of Angi and Marris. Enough of us though, let's hear what the roadies do from the Request Line. Heather and her sister have a dog walking business. Head Roadie Keith has been a mechanic for 37 years. Jesse makes money from playing video games. If there was ever a job Marris would be jealous of, this should be it. Duncan is a pool cleaner and adores it. Johnny Walk is a quality control tester for a local cannabis brand. Anna works for a safety company. All in all, all of them love their jobs. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Welcome one and all to our humble little dinges (don't tell Angi that it's little or she'll throw you overboard.) That's right roadies, we are getting naught...ical this morning in the Daily Discussion Topic. See, after yesterday's show, Angi and Marris boarded the good ship LollyThot and set sail on the river for an afternoon of drinking, entertaining and luckily Angi not falling over drunk like she normally does anytime she gets near water. Seriously, you know the rules, do not get her wet (wait, am I thinking of something else?) Anyway, while riding the seas of success, Marris did not get a boner (read more below) and the weather was perfect for the trip. Unfortunately though, this may be the only time this summer that Angi is going to be on a boat as she still has yet to find a daddy (in this instance an actual older gentleman who looks like Jack Nicholson that just wants to ogle a 50 year old sagging woman in a bikini) that will take her out on the water while the weather is still scorching. Before getting into the meat of the question, which was inspired by her noticing the overabundance of Seinfeld named boats, Angi had to ponder why people on boats wave to others on boats when they pass each other. I'm assuming it is something akin to when people clap on planes or in movie theaters ... because they're stupid. Anyway, after passing the Summer of George and Festivus for the Rest of Us, Angi wanted to know what the roadies would name their boats. Marris' would be called I Can't Swim because, spoiler alert, he probably should not be out on the open water since he can't swim. As for Angi's, she would call hers Trashboat Taylor, which is fitting though I suggested Frankentits Monster as an alternative. For myself, my boat would be called Look at Me, I'm the Captain Morgan which would then have a giant bottle of Captain Morgan White painted under it. Well, we have our ships so let's go to the roadies on the Request Line. Sydney would name hers the Big Dill. Jake would call his the Sea Cup because he's a big boob guy. Angi suggested he could even call it the Double Seas. Matt would call his Sea's the Day. Milan would name his the Master Baiter. Amoto would name his Sea You Next Tuesday. Mike would name his the Big Stugot. Mike over on Facebook added that his would be I Gotta Lil' Dingy which we all know is a boat Angi would never get on (since she's a size queen.) We closed this with shock from Angi that no one called their boat the Hawk Tuah (we did get it in a text later in the show.) If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

The start of a new week means we are steadily chipping away at July (boy, time really does fly) and that means that back to school is officially starting to get closer. For Angi (and I'm sure all of us,) back to school time was always a cause for anxiety as a kid. In today's times though, that anxiety is usually transferred to the parents as school supplies are expensive. For this reason, 3 out of 4 parents are usually seeking work arounds to save money like dumpster diving or stealing supplies from work (both smart imo as in both scenarios, good stuff tends to go to waste.) In fact, Angi's step mom was a loan officer and would steal industrial staplers, yellow legal pads and pens for Angi which is again, a good thing. All together, they end up spending $280 per child so when you have three or four, you're spending the amount Angi does weekly on wine. So since we're looking to save, the Daily Discussion Topic turned into a look at money saving hacks the roadies have. The topic was pulled from Reddit that also gave some fantastic examples like every time you buy something, you need to get rid of something else. While Marris was keen on the concept, Angi said she couldn't do it because if she bought a new jacket, she's still going to want to keep the old one. Use a budget app for impulse purchases. This would drive Angi crazy as she gets anxious spending and looking at a pie chart that showed her how much she spent on DoorDash might make her hit the floor. Use the library for everything from books to movies to tool rental. If you are out with friends, pay with cash so you can take out a certain amount and budget properly. When you go shopping, plan your meals around that so if something is on sale, you can substitute and get that instead of something more expensive. For example, Marris plans around meat (hell yeah brother) and will pivot as needed to save cash (that he then spends on Ninja Turtle crap.) Pack a lunch, as someone saved $35,000 over 12 years. For most people, they can easily save $3,000 a year bringing their lunch from home. Prison Tattoo offered up buying refurb and open box electronics, to which Angi added she has several open box TV's (in her mansion) and they usually come with warranties. Another is to leave stuff in your cart and check back in on it later to see if you still want it. For example, Angi's Amazon cart is filled with trash and Marris has several filled carts on different sites but they don't pull the trigger (because she's usually drunk and he's poor.) Over on the Request Line, Michael said to rotate streaming services. Watch all you want on one, cancel and go to the next. Jason said stop playing the Lotto even though he hasn't. At least Angi curbed her daily scratchie addiction. Head Roadie Troy said to clip coupons and always grab ramen noodles because you can make a ton of things with them. Gary used the "fear of God" to recycle school supplies. Jerry grows his own weed with seeds from the dispensary. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

What a lovely day for a Chainsaw Friday it is and how better to celebrate it by (checks notes) complaining. That's right, we are about to dive head first into the glorious weekend and so that means Angi has to make a big stink about something before we do. Disguised as seeking advice, Angi put out to the roadies how she should "politely" tell her upstairs neighbor that they are too loud. Mind you, this is the woman who once reenacted a Beyoncé concert on her floor but now that she's older than most of the sand in the world, noise is becoming problematic. Obviously, going on the radio and telling the world (including the people above her who sometimes listen) that they are the problem is clearly the best way to solve this issue. To give you an idea of how the place Angi lives is laid out, it is basically a duplex with three condos inside of it and Angi resides on the ground floor. There is the chariot racer above her and then another above them. The issue for her is Baba Bigfoot is a heel walker all day so that's a loud pound and then when they play with the dog, it's even louder as you have paws and bigfoot chasing each other through the house. This is most problematic on the second floor of her place but even when she goes to the first floor where the bedrooms are, the noise is still there. While pondering what to say, Angi considered buying a bunch of rugs and offering the extra to the neighbor. Sort of throw around that the rug truck crashed in front of the house and now she has all this carpet and nothing to do with it so maybe pad your floors to put down the noise some. The biggest issue is Angi loves her neighbors but not the noise. Grandma even considered taking a broom to the ceiling as she hiked up her old woman skirt and chewed on those strawberry candies you only find in old womens homes. She also can't simply walk upstairs and tell the neighbors to stop walking. Perhaps the solution is to give them soft slippers though if they accidentally slide and tear their ACL, that's going to be an issue on top of walking around. Her last idea had been to leave an anonymous note but since the units are limited, they would know that she was the b on the floor below me. So, now that everyone in the city knows that King Kong lives above her and she would rather he walk like Fred Flistone, who is going to be the one to deliver the podcast audio to him?

Good morning to Thursday, a glorious day that is one day away from the weekend where most of us will be planted face down in our man caves and she sheds drunk off our asses. At least that's what I gathered because when we introduced the Daily Discussion Topic of what the roadies would put in their fantasy man cave led us to discover that most of the roadies already have one (and missed the mark of what we were attempting to accomplish.) The reason that this came up was it turns out that different gens like different things in their man caves according to Man Cave Geek. For example, Boomers want a fully stocked bar in their man cave (wait, who wouldn't want that regardless of age?) Gen Z wants exercise equipment which was a resounding no from the studio, no one wants to feel pressure to work while in a man cave. Millenials want quality gaming stuff like systems and controllers. Gen X wants a ton of TV's in their man cave as they can then tune into all their different sports related nonsense at the same time. As for Marris, he would want it to be soccer, football, baseball themed with gaming and an L shaped couch. He also needs a sound system so loud it shakes the walls and vibrates your soul (while taking your hearing seeing as his sight is already going.) As for Angi, she is putting the wine on tap with several different varieties to go with the theme of the day. There would also be a pinball machine, The Addams Family one that she has wanted for so very long. On top of that, she would have a dart board, pop-a-shot and air hockey as well. Basically, Angi's she shed is a Dave & Busters with wine instead of food. As for myself, give me a few fridges of Captain Morgan White, a nice TV with a PS5 and some cool mood lighting and I'm good to go. Honestly, I'm a simple man (and a drunk) so it doesn't take much to please me. With our choices locked in, let's see what the roadies would do if we handed them $10,000 and told them to make a cave (spoiler: they would certainly miss the point of the topic.) Mark said he would get a popcorn machine for his cave. Sean has an established cave already in the garage and it is crazy (see the theme yet.) Sammy has a Chicago Blackhawks headquarters cave with 55 jerseys in it. Brian has a man cave with a trophy case from when he won a boxing match. He also would have litter boxes because he has a cat and something about a scratching post that looks like his couch. Chad would get movie style chairs, a TV, food catered in, stripper poles with strippers from Strippers R' Us and something about a $650,000 thing from ABT. Jeff also has a man cave with a framed picture of Angi and former producer Abe in it. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Right, we've hit hump day once again and that is lovely because the heat is dying down, the storms have passed and we are one step closer to the weekend. We are also one step closer (to the edge and I'm about to...) to Marris' Africa trip in September. Obviously, the man wants to make sure that his body is checked and all his shots are in order so he has been doctor shopping. Enter Dr. Taylor, who recommended the doctor that both her and Jay the Straight use and as it turns out, is now also Marris' doctor. In this family affair, everything is amazing but of course, there is a small issue. It turns out, Angi's super doctor is super hot and Marris was not prepared for such a revelation. Angi, irritated with Marris, suggested that he talk to Dr. Hottie about his ADHD because she had mentioned to him in her email about the doctor that she is great (as a doctor) and hot (as a woman.) We moved past Marris' inability to read (we'll come back to it) to look at ethics for a second. While Marris was worried more about insurance, Angi questioned how he would feel if she saw him naked as most men with a hot doctor feel vulnerable when the doctor is incredibly good looking. Marris is not one of these people and as long as she is a good doctor, it should all be fine and he may even attempt to spit game at some point. Just imagine trying to get a date with a wood spoon in your mouth or having your ears checked out. Circling back though, as we tend to do a lot on this show, we explored Marris' alleged ADHD. Angi used the non read email as a jumping point but Marris said he has made it to 37 without Adderall, he should be fine. Continuing with the bounce back to points, Marris only tends to read sentences and keywords and not whole emails, which is how he missed the part about the doctor being hot and in turn, causing Angi's overall ire. We then learned that he also does not read instructions but looks at pictures though he will read if need be when the pictures do not make sense. Angi suggested that doing things without reading instructions leads to trouble and surprise surprise, Marris has been down that road. He once put together something with a hand crank and in just looking at pictures, missed two whole steps and had to take it apart and reassemble something. You know, all things considered, maybe Marris really should talk to Angi's doctor about his ADHD because seriously.

Well, we survived another night of Twisters promotion (seriously, their marketing budget must be insane if they can drop tornados all over Chicago.) While others will be cleaning up tree branches and other debris, we here on The Angi Taylor Show have moved on to today's big event, Amazon Prime Day! That's right, the day when everything that is overly inflated is brought to a reasonable price and junk you don't need is made even cheaper so you indulge in rampant consumerism. The thing is, it works because last year, Prime members saved $2.5 billion dollars which means they spent a ton of money. There are some interesting things this year like 50% off movies and $2 deals on streaming channels for a few months along with Amazon Fire products, Ninja products and GoPro stuff (I left off the Nordictrack mention because like, what year is this?) Before Angi offered up some wild things she bought for this Daily Discussion Topic, she mentioned that her shopping this year will entail buying a bunch of rugs. However, the actual topic revolved around the weird and wild, interesting or useful things the roadies had discovered on Amazon. Angi herself has a few like these liners for the refrigerator and stove which if something spills, all you have to do is take the liner out and clean them off so you're not slaving over cleaning up spilled wine in the fridge after a nightly bender. Another was motorized salt and pepper grinders that give you just the proper amount you want and need for your food. She also has a bunch of eucalyptus and lavender bunches that you put on the shower head that gives you a soothing burst along with your shower water. Marris is also a finder of random things like a wine maze where you lock a bottle of wine behind a puzzle and then give it to your drunk friend and watch her come undone as she tries to work the puzzle and get to her treat. Needless to say Angi was furious when she got it and even Jay the Straight couldn't solve it but after staring at it long enough, the wine called to Angi and she solved it in one move. There was talk of tortilla blankets (I have those btw) and a turtle shell pillow (in which we learned Marris can't say pillow properly.) With this established, let's move to the Request Line and here other crazy impulsive buys that Angi may need to add to her cart. Hannibal found socks with magnets and when you bring them close together with a partner, they hold hands. Apparently, they are so cute. Matt bought a Squatty Potty and Angi is a fan but not of how ugly it is. She feels people will see it and think of you pooping (while they're in your bathroom with a toilet mind you....) Bob said pickle freeze pops are a jam and great for a sodium boost after a workout or a run. Gordon got some Lost Boys action figures. Paul has an Echo Studio which he uses to listen to Rock 95.5 because the sound is so crisp. Angi doesn't own an Echo and Marris fought it for a time but eventually gave in. Personally, I love mine and listening be damned, I think it's amazing. Well, that was certainly a weekend of things that happened. We could have probably spent the entire show dissecting all the insane things that happened but then how would you learn about the most embarrassing thing Marris once did on a date? For this morning's Daily Discussion Topic, Angi brought up how on "The Five" aka the Rock 95.5 podcast that brings together the 5 main personalities of Rock 95.5 to discuss music and deep dive songs. Last week's topic revolved around 2006 and Maria alerted Angi to a story about Marris that we somehow had never heard. Marris was 19 and macking on some rando when it seemed all was right to unleash his own gecko for a night of fun and so the pair returned to his apartment. Having good friends who wanted to see their bro succeed in conquest, everyone cleared out and left the two lovebirds to their own devices. However, Marris started talking about music and the talk turned to rock. CasaNOva decided to play a "sexy" song and turned on ... "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder. Oblivious to the fact that the song was about the guy cheating on his girlfriend, Marris only made things worse when he started singing the song to the girl. It should be noted we tried to force him to sing the song on air but he wouldn't because it may seem that he wised up to never do it again. While young Marris thought he was being romantic, he was actually just drunk and stupid and the whole scene did not go over well with her. As the chorus escaped his mouth and he started to realize the song was about cheating, he could see her sober up in real time and she simply got up and ran out of the apartment. Meanwhile, his friends across the hall were hooting and hollering over the whole ordeal and to be honest, it is kind of hilarious. Needless to say, his singing killed a sure thing and though he saw her a few more times, his friends never let him live the incident down. As for myself, I once was talking to a guy for a few months and finally invited him over. As you should know, I enjoy my alcohol and well, I ended up giving this guy alcohol poisoning the first night we hung out. We remained connected but yeah, that killed any chance of anything after that. So, we've talked about how we embarrassed ourselves on a date, let's turn to the Request Line and get some roadie submissions. Kelly was at a nice restaurant when she almost choked to death after getting a fish bone stuck in her throat. Tow Truck Ken went to put ketchup on his fries but since the cap was loose, it went flying everywhere after he shook it including on his eye and the entire booth. Matt threw up all over his date after having a bad appetizer. Jacob made a mixtape for one girl and gave it to another (but at least he married her.) Bonnie was on a high fiber diet and she accidentally farted while on the date. Lydia was trying to leave the club to hook up with a guy and ended up knocking over a waitress and had her entire drink tray spill all over them. Oh yeah bitches, it is Chainsaw Friyay and the weather is just perfect for sawing your burgers, steaks and dogs apart this weekend. However, I should probably put out this dire warning to enjoy all that cooked meat while you can because we are on the brink of an apocalypse. Be it eventual radiated zombies or all of us just being confined to our houses while wars start all around us, we definitely need to be prepared. Enter Costco, which Angi came to realize yesterday, sells apocalypse dinner kits. These $63 5 gallon black buckets of non perishable food have a shelf life of 25 years and 132 servings in them. The mylar pouches contain 8 different meal options including breakfast, drink and desserts. Marris was honestly having none of this though he did admit he did want to be able to eat and not just get eaten, which is bound to happen when the zombies, cannibals or religious zealots come bursting through the door. He also questioned how it would taste but we actually had a response for that. According to someone who bought in on this nonsense, they said it was tasty. So all you need is some non radiated room temp water (good luck with that in the apocalypse) and dinner is served. Marris added though that when he ate an MRE that his friend had, it was kind of awful. Angi had one from her uncle and she said it honestly wasn't that bad so I guess we're split on this one. Also, it's the apocalypse so you're kind of going to eat whatever you can get your hand on. That said, we had to ask what the two of them would want in their survival buckets. Marris sought out seasoning packets, hot sauce and of course, fried rice (no one said this wasn't going to teeter into delusion.) As for Angi's, she would want wine and gummies in hers because she needs to relax. Marris was concerned about the fermenting of the wine but as any good drunk knows, some get better with age. Plus, maybe she could use some of her stash to get the zombies drunk or high.

The week is almost done and that means we are one step closer to being drunk instead of feeling like you are, which is what should be happening if you've tuned in anytime this week after 9 A.M. In perhaps a closing note to a saga that is slowly becoming the defining point of this show, we had more "tea" this morning. If you haven't been following or are unfamiliar with the term tea, let me get you up to speed. "Tea" and the act of spilling it is just the updated term for gossip and giving all the hot gossip to your friends, loved ones and co-workers. Though at the rate the "scalding hot tea" (aka incredibly juicy gossip) has been flowing on this show for the last two days, you would think a major tea player in the market would want to sponsor us. This all started with Marris having a secret that Maria Palmer pretended not to know and Angi trying to crack it. Fast forward to yesterday and random discoveries and by the time the afternoon came, Angi herself stumbled upon "boiling scalding hot tea" (aka wetter than a peach gossip.) That brings us to this morning where Angi had finally put her patented brand of bonkers crazy behind her because she had a leg up. This interoffice tea is a boiling cup of delight but Angi, unlike Marris, refuses to spill the beans. Now all this sounds like a good "girl gets wronged, girl gets revenge" story but one little bit sends it flying off the rails and into the Angi's Big Mad abyss. Marris doesn't care that Angi is burdened with an incredibly ridiculous secret. That's right, the man of many secret keepings flipped the table on Angi and she doesn't know what to do. She is weighed down and filled to the brim with tea and even though she is tossing out breadcrumbs the size of boulders, he wasn't taking her bait. While she stewed and boiled over having a secret she can't tell ("Alexa, play 'Live to Tell' by Madonna,") Marris offered his stance on things. 1) He's not going to guess it because the myriad of interoffice secrets are too vast to nail accidentally and 2) Angi is never going to tell so he doesn't care. Angi reiterated (see: rubbed in) that it's not her story to share but the whole point of this back and forth was to cause jealousy which never calmed. While Marris lives an unburdened life, Angi festers and will eventually spill it (she says she won't but we know her.) As she said to close this out, she hates having it inside her and wants it out (and I'm going to stop myself here because I have several different avenues I can take and none of them will not not get me in trouble.)

Well, it's raining, it's pouring and the traffic is abhorring (hey, shut up, it rhymes and works.) The other thing that dealt with abhorrence this morning was the Daily Discussion Topic which felt like a spin off of a topic before it that involved bands no one hates. In this version though, we looked at the roadies favorite bands but they had to give us a known song (foreshadowing) of theirs that they hate. For example, Angi kicked us off discussing the Foo Fighters and then attempted to hum and sing "Big Me" very poorly. While this example was born of the song being played during the show, Angi actually had two proper examples. The first was from her beloved Mötley Crüe in "Home Sweet Home." She gets others to enjoy it but it is definitely on her skip list if she has to hear it (and that definitely explains why she goes to the iHeart kitchen for a Jack Daniels break if we play it.) The other was from her beloved Prince (RIP) and that is "Kiss" which shocked Marris (I kind of agree, total banger of a song.) As for Marris, Linkin Park is his favorite band of all time but that one summer, at band camp, someone stuck "New Divide" on rotation and it made him enraged. In fact, he was so mad that he threatened to punch the sun if he ever had to hear it. As for myself, I'm just going to grab The Cure and say "Lovesong" though I don't go so much of a visceral reaction to it but it is just so overplayed that I can't help but skip it. With our bases covered, let's see what the roadies said on the Request Line. Cathy kicked us off with Journey and "Wheel in the Sky," which is hilarious and ironic seeing as Angi won Request Wars with it yesterday and mind you, Angi hates it as well. Head Roadie Bob picked "Last Caress" by Metallica. Next was Sebastian with "Until It Sleeps" by Metallica and Angi agreed that she hates it too and it's a "get a beer" song. Sophia picked "Impossible Years" by Panic at the Disco. Henry loves Red Hot Chili Peppers and hates "Breaking the Girl." This disdain was inspired by an ex, of course. There are entire bands Angi hates due to ex's like U2. Rob called in from Mars apparently and picked Mötley Crüe's "Rattlesnake Shake." Melanie does not adore the song "Daffodil Lament" by The Cranberries and big shocker, Angi hates The Cranberries in general. For a second day in a row I find myself chronicling the Angi Taylor ailments like I'm some kind of journalist steeped deep in a war. However, unlike that guy on the front lines, I'm in the comfort of my own home thinking of clever ways to make fun of Angi's failing health so it's a good trade off. That said, it's no secret that most of us are either old or getting to the point of being old enough that our various health maladies consume our conversation (even young/old man Marris is in that boat.) As for granny Taylor, she made a scheduled visit to the doctor yesterday after her eye doctor told her she had "blood pressure eyes." After giving her a squeeze, it turned out Angi's blood pressure was absolutely fine but the real concern is her cholesterol. Now, it should be noted that she has "familia" cholesterol so even if she made the right choices like being a vegetarian for 15 years and a vegan for a time, she's still a mess and has been since she was 13. The same can be said for Marris so he absolutely understood where Angi is coming from. To get a better feel for just how bad she is, Angi's normal cholesterol is 316 and the proper should be under 200. As for her LDL (aka the bad kind,) hers is 237 and it should be under 100. In other words, we should start prepping the coffin choices because Angi's arteries are basically made of wax. To offset this though, Angi has now been placed on a statin which she'll have to take forever but hopefully it will keep her from stroking out or having a heart attack on air. This is also not a bad thing because she has wanted to be on one for a long time seeing as this is genetic and her grandfather had 3 strokes that led to him getting dementia so the fear is valid (unlike 89% of her other nonsense.) As for the secondary treatment Angi was served, that honor belongs to Cologuard, the at-home colonoscopy kit. Obviously, there was a confusion on how she actually goes about taking the test (we would learn from a roadie in a secondary segment,) but we do know it involves Angi giving her UPS man a box of poop (which is probably better than the half drunk bottle of wine she gave him for Christmas last year.) While Marris lamented the poor UPS man that has to handle Angi's orange sherbert scoops, Angi talked about how she had sworn that her pooping in a box days were over (more on that in the secondary segment offshoot.) Either way, our horse looks like she still has a bit more life left in her but you know, tick tock.

Oh hey there, hi, good morning. That's right, we are back and if any of you expected to hear some kind of wacky, delusional, insane stories after a whole week away ... then clearly you are a devoted roadie and knew you were going to get just that. So, Angi took a trip to New York for her best friend's birthday which in turn became a weird celebrity get-together as well. Where else would you ever hear about Dwayne Wade and Busy Phillips hanging out in the same place after all? However, that drunken bash was not the star of the New York trip because that honor belonged to a malfunctioning fire alarm and Taylor Taking a Tumble (if you get this reference, good on you.) The first part of this "tragic" tale starts with the return from the party where everyone was too drunk and ready to sleep. However, the fire alarm in the hotel had different ideas and proceeded to go off awakening everyone and sending them fleeing in case the fire was real (and not just in Angi's head as you probably wrongfully assumed.) This would proceed to happen 7 more times after that, each timed between falling back asleep and annoying enough that the fire department even showed up. The biggest issue though came when Angi went to take a shower in a combination bathtub/shower. See, getting out of this was a little slippery and grandma took a tumble into some porcelain. Though she braced the fall, her knee took the brunt of it and it "caused a bone to pop up." Not content with just that delusion, Angi consulted with Dr. Google and AngiMD to discover that she has Osgood Schlatter Disease. Weirdly enough, Marris actually has this and Angi felt seen for him trying to hone in on her imaginary issues (of course.) Marris' was not caused by falling in the shower but because he grew too fast for his knees and they couldn't keep up. Also, this disease usually happens in adolescents and not 79 year old women. Combining that, plus her new bone in her leg and toss in some mosquito bites that she is allergic to and you have a summer where Angi is afraid to show off the gams. However, since we can't leave you with the thought of a 84 year old woman not showing some ankle all summer, it seems that a solution was created. Angi will be getting a knee brace because that will bring her all the attention she so desperately desires but refuses to say aloud that she is seeking. In other words, it seems we did not miss a beat the week that we were gone.

Right, Chainsaw Friday and all the like but I'm more interested in the little vacation break we are getting this upcoming week and so since we won't be here to make you a bit stupider, let this gemstone that Angi mined do the trick until then. Pulling a break from reality (which is what I call it anytime this show hits the airwaves,) Angi explained that the hot new internet question is if a genie visited you and offered you 5,000 of anything with the catch being it had to start with the letter Y, what would you pick? Marris said yaks but not because he wanted them but because it seemed to be the only sensible thing. Weirdly enough people agreed as it was number 3 on the list. Angi picked yacht's, Prison Tattoo wanted to buy one of Marris' yaks and HP wanted yurts (which is also pretty viable.) Here though are the actual top 10 from the list.

Another day, another ailment, as if I wasn't going to open these notes without talking about how they've rebooted Mr. Magoo and to be progressive, made him into a woman and cast Angi in the role. You see, our beloved hostess with the mostest is apparently actually lacking something and that is working eyes. That's right y'all, the bitch is basically blind. As you should know, the only thing holding together this Frankenstein mess is Gorilla Glue and a prayer because she apparently has no time to fill her doctor's appointments (there are too many good documentaries to watch on the couch.) Anyway, the reason they let this ocularly challenged woman onto the streets was she had gotten her nails done yesterday and was walking home. Normally, I'd make a joke about her stumbling because she was drunk but her needing a seeing eye dog and a cane is so much funnier. See, as she was coming down the street, she spotted a man carrying a cute little black puppy in his arms. Easily excited, Angi ran over and went to pet the dog when to her horror she realized that it wasn't a dog at all. For half a second, I almost went the route of that urban legend about the hairless rat but no, the man was not holding a dog. What he actually had wrapped around him was a canvas cross body bag. That's right, this dingdong attempted to pet a man's bag. Obviously, the dude was taken aback as he assumed this deranged older woman was going to rob him. This embarrassment was followed up with a slap in the face when Angi finally got home and was ready for supper (get it, cause she's old.) She ordered soup from a place 2 miles away and while watching the DoorDash app, noticed the driver was looping and going in circles. It took an hour and a half for the driver to arrive across the street and sit outside of a CVS. When he finally turned around and drove to Floptopia, he told her he couldn't find her house and then blamed the construction. The most egregious part though was when he told her "don't forget to tip" as he walked away. Marris suggested she should have just walked to get it but she couldn't because she needed to be home (see: she's lazy.) She was also forced to give him one star instead of zero and also tip ahead so she couldn't give him nothing for bad service. You will be happy to know she did complain to DoorDash and explained her soup being late was totally going to ruin the tour (if you don't get that joke, watch more entertainment news.)

Middle of the week and the heat is finally letting up as we barrel toward the end of June and into the summer sun fun madness (aka burning blazing hot as hell end of times.) This has absolutely nothing to do with the Daily Discussion Topic but it felt like a proper way to open the notes this morning. It was an exploration of things that we can do better than others because a list was put up with people offering what they believe they can do better than 80% of others. Marris, for example, thinks he is better at video games (I wonder if he beat Elden Ring, hmm?) Apparently the time and effort he puts forth as a 37 year old gives him great hand/eye coordination and or he has years of experience. His go to atm is EA Sports FC 24 which for those unfamiliar, is a soccer game. I'm going to mix it up and squeeze in Angi and my answers before I get to the list though because sometimes it flows better to have all our answers as opposed to one answer, a list, another answer and then my input. Angi's amazing at parallel parking and can park a semi between two frogs (because that's clearly a thing ... idiot.) As for me, I'm clearly great at reading and roasting a bitch (see: my segment every morning) but I'm also good at writing. Give me a prompt and I can fire up a few pages on it usually with relative ease. As for others, there was picking the slowest line in a store, chess, looking someone directly in the face while they talk and catching none of it. One person has an amazing internal clock and Angi said she too has the ability to guess a time within 15 minutes (same.) Handwriting was there too and Angi explained that she got a handwriting student of the month award in 6th grade and Marris got the chicken scratch writing award. Back to the list, minding their own business, finding misplaced commas (the temptation I had to put a bunch of wrong ones into this I had was there) and untangling things. Angi is also good at that as well if you give her an Adderall prior. The final three from the list was throwing a frisbee, complaining and judging the volume of a liquid pour (what a useless skill.) Now that we've gotten through that jumbled mess, let's see what the Request Line had to offer. Jessica is amazing at returning stuff, even outside of the return policy. Apparently, you have to go Karen and get a manager and just be nice while making up a ridiculous story. Angi added that kindness is key and acting rude to a manager is going to get you nowhere. Head Roadie Bob is the king of helping people do stuff, taking them to the airport or helping if a car breaks down. Head Roadie Keith knows he is a better mechanic. Michael knows what time of day it is without effort. Mike is great at remembering TV shows and can bring up quotes in proper situations. Tilly is amazing at rolling doobies which means she'll be working on this show soon. Emily can pick out the dog breeds in a mix, she just has a sense for it. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Well, the heat is finally going to break but it was not going out like a bitch though. Instead we're getting near a 100 with humidity and a hell of storm before it finally allows us to cool off. It would probably have been more fitting to attach this to the summer jobs discussion but I liked this better as a main focal point this morning. We discuss dating a lot on this show as Angi is hell bent on getting Marris a mate. However, 80% of dating people, including Marris, are burned out on apps. A Dutch (you can hear Angi roll her eyes) named Vera came up with a solution. She made a questionnaire for potential mates consisting of 15 questions that fit her high standards. 5,000 decided to try to win her heart and she would eventually whittle it down to three. Below are a sampling of the questions:

  • What is your astrological sign?
  • How many exes do you have?
  • How many of your crazy ex's do you talk to?
  • Do you want kids?
  • Use three adjectives to describe yourself and is one of them douche?
  • How is your relationship with your parents?
  • Do you have a booty call on tap?
  • Is it acceptable to hit on her friends?
  • If you were to live together, would she get the walk in closet?

As I said, she ended up picking 3 and surprise surprise, none of them were a good match for her. She's just too picky and no guy will ever be perfect for her. She also said she would not try this experiment again. While they are a good gauge of things, they don't offer enough information or deter from otherwise good matches. Angi even said she might miss Mr. Right by being so restrictive and Marris added that being 37, he wants to see if it works or not fast. Like general questions can weed out convicted felons but if you're looking to eliminate over eye color, baseball team fandom and other nonsense, you're asking for trouble. Angi capped this with saying 20 year old Angi would never have imagined marrying a bald guy and if she had weeded Jay the Straight out over that, she'd probably still be alone. Marris thinks that Vera just wants to be single and there is a way to explore what you want and need better.

Monday morning is here and as we dive into the last week of June, it seems that the roadies got into the good stuff this weekend because the texts were off the chain. If you want to hear about pegging, discovered sex tapes and some kind of girl on girl action, check the podcast but in the meantime, I'm going to talk about the Daily Discussion Topic. Apparently, adult summer camps are all the rage suddenly (probably because we're overworked, underpaid and need to get away back to simpler times) so we attempted to configure what our camp would need to make it a hit. As is, there is a camp for 20-40 year old women in the Poconos that cost $300 for a three day retreat. Angi sees something like this as a way to get away from family and work but when she saw what they were doing, she balked. Instead of drinking, doing drugs and doing more drinking, these women are ... picking plums, horseback riding, playing tug of war, doing yoga, making smores and taking cooking classes. Angi doesn't want any of that nonsense and she is seeking something more akin to three months of spring break and partying, not whatever the hell this is. She expects three months of Cancun and instead they want her to pick plums, yeah no. For that reason the question posed turned into what the roadies would want at their men's and women's only summer camps? Marris said he would need all the American Gladiator obstacles, including The Eliminator. Watching people beat each other up with pylons and tearing their ACL's is just what would make camp actually camp. As for Angi, she needs wine everywhere. No tap water, just wine. Add in a nail technician, a masseuse, a spa and basically Angi is creating a spa on the lake as her summer camp. Of course, she's not getting in the lake though because there would be a pool with hot guys who are on lotion detail. Honestly, though it sounds like she needs rehab more than anything else, this is her fantasy and we just live in it. Over on the Request Line, Dana wants an actual normal summer camp only there is just booze absolutely everywhere. Amber wants a really inebriated camp with things like growing your own pot plant, how to roll a joint and of course, making your own wine. Angi would be open to learning how to make edibles but is steering clear of the cannabutter as it once almost killed her. Getting turnt on brownies was a one time thing that she does not want to revisit. Head Roadie Crüe Fan said he just needs weed and mushrooms at his camp so he can party with the aliens and bigfoot. Steven called about wanting battery operated toys. Joel said skinny dipping and tons of booze. Ken said instituting shot time instead of arts and crafts would be ideal. James wanted a prime rib station and an international lap dance station. Throw in a cognac bar and posters of Angi everywhere and he would be set. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Oh Yes, Chainsaw Friyay is here once more and that means you survived a week in the heat dome. This isn't really an accomplishment but more of a notice that you've been suffering in this disgusting wave of overcooked misery for far too long. Speaking of suffering, Angi's wallet was yesterday which caused her to issue a PSA this morning. If you get a brand new dog or cat, please check into getting pet insurance. If you listened early this week, Angi explained how her dog had diarrhea in her air vents at home. Well, because when it rains, it pours (in this instance, this is not the kind of rain you want,) now her other dog has joined in on the chocolate rain pain train. With two sick dogs and floors being covered enough to eventually tank the resale value, Angi took both pooches to the vet. After running some blood tests on the old lady ... they then got to work on Angi's dogs (zing!) The frenchie has a cloudy white eye which means there is fluid in it and she has a hemorrhage in the eye as well so she is currently fitted with the cone of shame (not to be confused with the walk of shame which Angi takes home from Liquor Barn every afternoon.) After that, she needed to get meds, special GI tract food, pills and drops. When she went to check out, she heard that phrase no one wants to hear in a doctors office (no, not "oh, you were with Angi Taylor, take a seat") "wow, that was some appointment." This was stated because Angi's bill turned out to be $565 out of pocket for as she put it "some drops and food." Marris, hater of dogs and anything cute, suggested Angi just leave the front door open and the dogs would wander off. Of course, he added that the dogs are basically blind so that wouldn't help all that much. Angi further added to her misery tale about how even when the dogs do go outside, it can't be picked up because splatter. The point of all this was to showcase the sticker shock Angi had when it came to vet bills. She wishes she had thought to go the insurance route as the dogs are almost as old as she is now so it won't be something a company would probably get behind. Marris though, might be onto something with owning Syphilis as she sits in her cage and does her own thing. She'll live 10 to 15 years and have a pretty good life. She's also pretty self-sufficient and will have a reptile handler friend tending to her while Marris is in Africa for two weeks. Angi offered to do it but after telling a story on how she once got in trouble for feeding a giraffe Doritos and then offered to feed Syphilis french fries, Marris clearly knew not to let that drunk woman into his condo.

It's another day in the heat dome and we are just attempting to chug along and not drop dead from a combination of overheating, underperforming and melting into a puddle like that witch (not Angi, the other witch.) Anyway, it's hot out and it seems like maybe an office offering up some nice industrial air conditioning might be the perfect way to lure people back into the office. That is perfectly centered on the point this morning about the incentives companies are finding themselves throwing out to make people decide the comfort of working at the office is so much better than the amazing comfort that is working at home. They are pulling out all the stops and offering crazy perks like high end coffee, yoga classes, gym memberships and even DJ parties (you, can we get Disclosure to come play at the iHeart building?) Well, the new hotness when it comes to tricking err convincing people the office is where they want to be is giving an employee a desk. See, "hot desking" was a hot new trend before the world went to hell. Much like a hotel, you would check in and grab a desk which meant that every day brought forth a new surprise. Modern communal adapting made sense in the world before covid but now, people are used to being stationary at their houses. However, there are times where they need to move around for whatever reason and so offices got the bright idea to rewind the clock and give back a desk. Stellar thoughts here leaders, just incredible. Now, we asked our resident desk hopper Marris, who has 47 jobs and once we shut this trainwreck of a showdown, he goes to a communal desk. He personally hates it because everyone at the station knows which desk is technically "his." He has a stand, stuff in the drawers and it's usually covered in food. Still, people like to take it because they are monsters and can't help it. So now he's fighting for his own spot back, this absolutely makes sense in his headcanon. While he would love his own desk, it seems for the moment pizza party Friday is the best iHeart has to offer. Angi chimed in that maybe offering babysitting could be beneficial but added that the time you see the most employees circling the studios like buzzards is when someone drops a spread of food and they consume it like it was their last meal. So if you're wondering about our list of demands, Angi said desks, money and then food. Mostly money though but let's face it, she consumes most of the budget....

Now, our mornings normally begin with Angi complaining about some wacky ailment that ruined her day before but not today. Instead, we were treated to PoopGrate and that is not a typo. See, Angi awoke at 1 A.M. this morning to the sound of her frenchie being sick. To those unfamiliar with the dynamic layout of Floptopia, Angi's bedroom is on the first floor and the dogs tend to sleep on the second floor. While attempting to sleep between the random leg kicks and karate chops from Jay the Straight, Angi awoke to the sound of scurrying feet. Getting out of bed to figure out that the pigeons had finally learned how to break in and get their revenge, Angi instead discovered something just so much worse. It was doggy diarrhea and not just anywhere but in the air vent upstairs. I'm assuming some kind of swear laden yelling was done by Angi who barely gets to sleep as is but this is not the first time this literal mess has occurred. See, whenever the dog gets sick (which is not often,) there is usually an accident in the house. However, it seems that the accidents are always directed toward the air vent upstairs without fail. Of course, Angi tried to understand why this is happening and did a whole Nancy Kerrigan "whyyyyyyy" woe is me routine about it. The problem though is when this happens in say, the winter, you've got a house that stinks like poop (as opposed to smelling like a vineyard like it normally does.) On top of that, it takes forever to clean up the vent after this occurs so between that and the heat, Angi is apparently just having a day. Angi also took the moment to shame/blame the dog for getting her sick over the weekend but Angi left her mess in the litter box and the front lawn of the neighbor who still has Christmas decorations up. Marris, known lover of animals (sarcasm if you're not aware,) told Angi to just sell the dog. Angi considered maybe opening the door and just letting her run away but even though the Alzheimer's might help that, the dog is also blind so it would probably just end up running into a wall.

It happens every year and we seem to forget it but when it arrives like a wrecking ball through our bodies, summer makes sure that its presence is felt. The heat dome hell that will be cooking Chicago this week is all part of the fun rituals of summer like BBQing, your neighbors lighting off all the fireworks they have until October and of course, road tripping. A poll of people revealed that 93% of people enjoy them and 70% of people want to do them. The last one I did was from Chicago to Florida and then back when I lived there for six months and while fun due to the company, it was a tiring time. Marris added that any trip under 5 hours and Angi said any under 3 work for either of them. Though they could both work with running it solo or with others, Marris said it's better and more tolerable with others. His longest solo trip though was 7 hours and he was not a fan. As for who likes to get behind this nonsense, Gen Z likes it for the bonding, Millennials like it for the adventure, Boomers enjoy the scenic views and Gen X just doesn't really care at all (that's right!) As for where to trip to, the Midwest likes to go to Florida, California and Georgia. The South flock to Michigan and Florida. The East coast is apparently fond of Massachusetts. As for what the point of the road trip was, going to the beach, staying at family/friends houses and visiting national parks topped the list. It was suggested that the longest trip should be 10 hours max that Angi and Marris both said no way to. It's really just too much sitting upright and if you need to nap while switching drivers, it's awful. However, the best part of the road trip is our Daily Discussion Topic this morning. Grab the aux cord and tell us what is on your road trip playlist. Marris picked Tool because he wants energy laden music and you can coast along to the songs while you journey to like outer space. Angi, on the other hand, likes to chill and usually listen to albums front to back (as opposed to how she...nevermind.) Her choices were Fleetwood Mac, Eagles and Boston. This reminds her of driving with her parents (insert any number of jokes here.) For myself, I'm the resident dance/house/EDM guy in my group so I'm playing Eric Prydz's "Opus" the entire way through on a night drive. With our choices locked, let's turn to the roadies. Brian chose Sublime's "40 Oz. to Freedom" album. Chris added Tom Petty's "Running Down a Dream." Mark said any Bruce Springsteen which immediately caused Angi to jump out of the speeding car. Matt wants to be rockin 'with Dokken. Another Matt added station favorite Metallica and then if he his traffic, Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff" comes out. Frank capped us with The Offspring but if whittled down to a choice, then "Gone Away." Chainsaw Friyay is upon us and even though it was a short four day week for most of us, the glorious weekend could not come fast enough. I mean, it will be warm out and though maybe not warm enough to go to say, a water park, there's still potential to enjoy some sun. This, of course, brings us straight into the Daily Discussion Topic which was incredibly heated (get it?) Should women be allowed to go topless at a waterpark? A poll on Reddit considered titty time and how it should exist in regards to water parks and beaches. After all, men are allowed to go shirtless and women usually wear bikinis that essentially leave nothing to the imagination so why not? The hot debate obviously is that it is inappropriate for kids but who decided that was the case? Of 3000 people who were polled for the post, 75% said that it was okay. Marris agrees with the poll, as do Angi and myself and he pointed out that it is us who hypersexualize everything and therefore create the concept of it being wrong. It's fine in Europe, it's okay in Mexico and Angi indulges in that by going topless on the beaches in both of those places. More so, it's weird if you don't do it there so on the flip of the spectrum, the judgement there is for the need to cover up. While neither Angi or Marris understand the taboo, it does really come down to perception and requirement, which could and should be optional. As I stated prior, most of what is being worn barely covers up everything as is so why not just free the nipple? With this all established, we took to the Request Line to get some roadie thoughts though there was a serious lack of women which made our scientific part of the spectrum feel flawed. Dan said women should be able to do what they want because men can wear shirts or not, why shouldn't they. It's only immoral because we deem it as such but who are we to decide what is and isn't right in the context of a body. (1 Yes) Allison said as long as the establishment is over 18. She has 4 kids and she wants to protect them and not expose them to breasts. Her personal stance is she'd feel gross and feels exposure to children needs to be controlled as breasts are already sexualized as part of our culture. (1 Yes, 1 No) Big Mike said if you're going to ban going topless, might as well ban porn. Angi rightfully added that they're not showing porn at the water park. (2 Yes, 1 No) Brian said no but the issue lies in the immaturity of the U.S. It comes down to being the fault of those with no self control or ability to control their impulses. Europe overall just feels more mature in these regards and so it works there and not here. (2 Yes, 2 No) Head Roadie Bob made a great point that after 6 months, no one would care just like when weed was legalized. Maybe if we did 1 boob at a time to test the waters. (3 Yes, 2 No) Giovanni agreed that if you are brave enough to whip them out, you should be brave enough to face the stares because you will get them. Not everyone will have perfect breasts and you also have to consider mothers, grandmothers. Exposure has a numbing effect which harkens back to Bob's point but more so, some guys on the beach have bigger tits than girls so the point feels moot. (4 Yes, 2 No) If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Even though it was a shortened week due to the holiday, we've been here, present and fully available. I mean, I was drunk last night for my birthday and these notes will be somewhat logical so we could only expect the best from the studio crew, right? Today's Daily Discussion Topic was spearheaded by a woman who has a sleep issue (which sounds like us as in, we don't get enough.) Kelly Knipes, a 42 year old woman suffers from parasomnia, which causes her to do things like shop in her sleep, give scammers her financial details and take extra meds (are we sure this isn't Angi?) In fact, this disorder has caused her to spend $3,800 buying a full sized basketball court, cans of paint, playground equipment and hundreds of Haribo candies. While everyone else finds it funny, this is clearly an issue. Well, in Angi's case, this is an exploit as she is going to now start blaming things she spends money on that Jay the Straight gets mad about on this disorder. Still, this was something Angi didn't know about and so it inspired her to ponder a question. What is something the roadies learned embarrassingly late in life? Some examples pulled including things like someone thinking that roadside memorials were actually graves. A 27 year old thought "hump day" was the day people had sex and not the middle of the week. Another didn't realize a quart was a quarter of a gallon. A 53 year old didn't realize Rhode Island was not just an island. Another found out pumpkin spice doesn't taste like pumpkins. Another learned how to say Yosemite and always saying it "yo sem ite." In 10th grade, someone yelled out "I love necrophilia" after learning about necromancy. For the person who didn't know carrot cake was called that cause it had carrots in it, it definitely was not because it had carrot doodles on top. "POW MIA" is Prison of War Missing in Action and definitely not "powmia." Lastly, someone assumed fly fishing was done out of a plane or helicopter. To be fair, this does sound a bit amazing though. Right then, moving on to our own ding dongs. Marris wanted a birthday suit when he was a kid because he thought it was an actual birthday outfit and not swinging dong. Though he is willing to wear his birthday suit for us in studio on his birthday, it falls on a weekend this year (boo!) Marris also once almost killed an allergic friend because he did not know bell peppers were used to make paprika. Mind you, Angi just learned that in that moment so there you go. Speaking of Angi ... I just, this one was special. She didn't realize the last four digits of a Social Security number was your birth order and that it varied by state. This is why she and Jay the Straight have the same last four birth digits (crazy) and then she went and just said them out loud on air.... She also did not realize that hippos were extremely violent until like two weeks ago. Great, now that we're a bit smarter (not really,) let's go to the Request Line and the roadie add-ins. Thomas' always goes to the wrong side of a gas station whenever in a new vehicle and took forever to realize the arrow on the dash pointed to the correct pump side. Kevin didn't realize that every gas station has a green handle for diesel aside from BP which almost led to a costly mistake. Raquel was on a date and trying to be fancy and so she ordered a "virgin" Arnold Palmer. Elizabeth took forever to know that driving with the interior light on is not illegal. Larry has called in to win tickets to things without realizing there was a topic to discuss or a game to play to actually get them aka selective hearing. David knew someone who died from going "cold turkey" and assumed it meant they died from eating cold turkey. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Onward from one trauma to the next when Tiktok (I should have figured) has brought back an old sinister theory about the movie Finding Nemo. This perception shifter wrecked Angi's childhood (she was like 60 when that movie came out so let's play make believe.) Apparently, the barracuda that was blamed for the loss of Nemo's mother and all his siblings was not the cause of the mass extinction event. It turns out that Mrs. Vorhees was the kille...wait, wrong movie. Nemo's mother was the culprit because in actual life, female clownfish tend to eat their eggs and barracudas do not. So the death that swept the ocean that day was triggered by mother clown fish (who then went on to get eaten or something, this part was unclear.) The point is that Nemo only lived due to sheer luck or maybe because she was too full. Had she lived though, there is a good chance she would have probably eaten Nemo as well. While Angi's therapist put her calls to voicemail, she continued on how Coral was just an absolute bitch. See, marine biologists showcased that female clown fish eat their young while the males tend to them. Though the males will eat damaged eggs/kids and during the first few attempts, the parents will end up eating all the eggs for fun. This underwater horror story also has an even darker tone in that Nemo may have not actually existed. See, another swing showcased that Nemo may have been eaten and simply never existed and the whole movie is a hallucinated fever dream. After all, Nemo translates to "nobody." That's right, you were actually watching Finding Nobody! Basically, Tiktok is out to ruin your childhood by showcasing the true horrors of nature and these reveals were blowing Marris' mind. Then again, all the Disney movies were kind of sinister. Bambi, The Lion King, Dumbo, dead parents about with built in childhood traumas. It's almost like Disney writers were all high on acid or shroomed out and decided to really screw us up (and then benefit later by making PTSD-addled adults love their parks.) Obviously, Pixar won't confirm this wild theory but Marris is now in the mood to rewatch the movie and do a deep dive to see if it tracks or not. This led into a childhood trauma movie look through like how The Land Before Time made Marris cry and how Charlotte's Web did Angi in. Mother of the Year Taylor then forgot (see: drunk) that Charlotte's Web was so bad and showed it to her four year old daughter and it was the first time she cried from a movie. After announcing she's the worst parent ever (spot on) Angi also mentioned how the flying monkey's and The Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz terrified her so you can see how well adjusted we are on this show.

Oh Tuesday, you seemed so far away five days ago when we had to take an impromptu early holiday weekend extended break due to covid (more on that in a bit.) However, since Tuesday this week is our Monday, it only makes sense that we discussed people being more negative the older they get this morning. Marris completely understands it as people tend to get angry over adulting which makes sense as I'm so mad about being an adult. As for when you should expect the rage to take over, it apparently starts at 42 (which means Marris is ahead of the curve.) According to those polled though, 26% said they remained positive as they aged and 5% found themselves getting more negative. Using advanced mathematics or something, they landed on the age of 42 being the trigger for the decline into being mad bro. Marris' viewpoint was that at 42 and everything after, you have to be more responsible and plan for the future, which is awful. Factor in the price of gas, concert tickets and groceries being so expensive and you have your cocktail recipe for big mad. You hit 40 and even though it is a milestone, you need to sit down and start considering retirement down the line and how to survive that. In other words, life sucks and you realize it at 42.

So normally on hump day, we begin our spiraling descent into the midweek madness you have seen time and again from this show. However, this morning was a bit different, almost ominous as Angi came into her designated studio spot to find two envelopes. Normally, we'd assume it was just her hush money payments or her cut from the pigeon kidnappings that were made to make sure her neighbors pigeons win the upcoming races. However, the black envelopes did not contain anything fun like cash or anthrax but instead had 2 menacing cards in them. The first envelope said "Adios Brochacho" which is weird because that is a total "Angi Taylor Statement." (Much like Angi Taylor Money, we attach her name to things to showcase importance and her owning them.) As for the inside, it was a card with a casket on it that said "Let Me Rest in Peace." That was it, no name, no indication who it was from, just that. The second envelope said "Til the End" on it and the card inside said "Life, although it only may be an accumulation of anguish, it is dear to me just like you." Obviously, the first thought was that iHeart has given up on pizza party firings and this was now how they intend to get rid of us. Marris chimed in that he'd rather receive a severance than a casket though caskets are expensive and he could probably sell it off for some cash. As everyone should know, Angi is always in full time panic mode and she pointed out that if her husband or boss even texts her "call me," she goes into meltdown mode. In her head, she goes off the tracks and assumes that she is going to be fired, that Floptopia has collapsed on itself or that her husband has finally had enough and he's checking out. Needless to say, things like this freak her out so to have this happen this morning was not ideal. She's not sure who left the cards and if the situation is bait that they set up so she would discuss it on air but she is not amused. The problem of course is that the studio is shared with a ton of people but since her spot is centered away from others, this was a direct message from her and not an accidental left behind Uncrustable that she ate that one time. As of writing this, we did not know what it meant and she is clearly not okay with not knowing what it is all about. Angi decided that an investigation is going to occur and I'm assuming that we are about to become the Scooby Doo gang (Marris: Fred, Angi: Daphne, Prison Tattoo: Shaggy, HP: Velma, Myself: Scooby Doo.) So look forward to the coming days to see if we can figure this out or if Angi ends up worrying so much that she has a stroke.

Though the recurring theme today was cheating, it was also cheating that brought us (and by us I mean Angi and our own collective amusement,) into the wonderful (see: nerd, loser, dork) world of LARPing. After talking to roadie Paul, who dressed up like a male fairy (fairy is a non binary word,) to appease the woman he was cheating on his ex wife with. As you probably should have guessed/expected/known, Angi was completely enthralled with LARPing after that and she went about attempting to learn all she could about it. Now, this is a pulled together piece of ideas because I could discuss Angi watching LARPing porn with Marris but again, that was to be expected. Upon understanding what LARPing is and avoiding an aneurysm, Angi decided that she may want to LARP. Her first idea was Jake from State Farm but she switched it up to the more proper Ann Boleyn. Now, she was unsure if she had sword skills but she did ride her horse like a whore (with her thighs, none of that side saddle nonsense,) and so shoe/fits, etc. As I said above, Angi went on Pornhub during commercial and song breaks and also played us a snippet of an orgy on air (minus the fun sex) but I am proud to say the roadies did offer her costume ideas on the Request Line. She was told to do Game of Thrones, Fembot, Vikings character Lagertha the ShieldMaiden, The Devil and April O'Neil. That last was dismissed only because she would ruin the fantasy for Marris. We capped our LARP adventure (in this section, it continued to seep into the show,) which Angi learning that LARPing meetups may not have a lot of hot guys but if she drinks enough mead, she could get them up a notch. Unfortunately, she spent most of her life doing that so I don't think it will work.

Oh man, we are so back. The sun is shining, the cicadas are not deafening us yet and we did a daily discussion topic about stealing, we did not miss a beat being on vacation. This, of course, was brought on by something Angi did in London but we opened by asking if the roadies had ever stolen from a hotel or restaurant. For example, a 60 year old rich woman known by Angi stole a silver butter tray once. Apparently, the rich are the most prone to stealing because they're used to taking everything from the poor as is but also because they have to have a way to find fun when they have everything. The thing is, people love junk and will fight other things like Rock 95.5 keychains and shirts because it's there for the taking. The same could be said of those big juicy pens, which is essentially how this technically started and then we had the Angi tack on. Of people polled, more than half said it is fine to take a branded pen from a hotel. It should be considered complementary marketing since it's branded and you clearly wanted it enough to steal it and show it off. Weirdly enough, on the flip side, only 8% of people think it is okay to steal a pen from a restaurant, say the one left with the bill. If you were curious for more of a breakdown, Midwestern Gen X women steal from restaurants and Gen Z men take from hotels. Tying this back around to our resident show klepto (remember when she stole money from Dairy Queen to buy wine coolers at 16?,) Angi was at breakfast in her hotel in London when something caught her eye. She saw these mini jars of British jam and marmalade and she wanted so badly to shove them in her purse. As she did unload the entire haul in there, Jay the Straight freaked out and called her a thief. Before he could jump out of his chair and ask for the cops to take her away, she was shamed into not stealing the jars. As for Marris, when he was at bad AirBNB's, Marris would take something like a pillow or the liquor that was left out. Angi was stunned on several fronts, first that Marris would "rob someone's home," then that people left liquor out for guests to drink. I'm assuming all her next trips will be AirBNB's now. Marris explained that he would pretend that they drank the liquor while there and just take it all home with them. Now it's been ages since I stayed at a hotel so I can't comment on that but I think all of us had a klepto phase when we were younger, stealing was always such a rush. Before implicating ourselves in anything further, let's just get to the Request Line roadies. Sara stole a robe and slippers from a hotel before it was customary to be charged for taking them. It was in Hawaii as well so you know it was fancy. Sam was so excited to talk about stealing pillows that she swore and had to be given the boot. Austin will bring home the bath towels from hotels. Stephanie steals sauces from Chipotle. Katie steals k cups from hotels and Angi was in 100% in assuming they just belonged to you. Leanne stole towels from The Stanley Hotel, made famous in the movie The Shining. Rad Dad takes condiments from restaurants and shampoos and lotions from hotels and gives those to the homeless. Oddly, Angi again said that those are clearly meant for the guests to take. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

Boy, today was a real whirlwind of a show with both Angi and Marris taking turns showcasing their unique skills. While I'll get to Angi's in a moment as it involved the Daily Discussion Topic and she went into full "mama bear" mode, Marris on the other hand showcased his manliness (see: rugged stupidity?) during a discussion about a viral topic ironically also involving a bear. After pondering if Marris could build a fire (he can't,) Angi introduced us to a currently viral question that seems to have a very easy answer. If you're a woman and you're stuck in the woods, would you rather it be with a man or a bear? Before we start dissecting the answer to this simple question, we looked at Marris' survival skill set. Apparently, he thinks he can survive for two weeks in the woods and even though he can not make fire, he would drink the non purified water he finds and just wing it. He has seen plenty of outdoor shows so he's pretty certain he can live off the land (I need someone to greenlight a show with him being dropped in a forest yesterday.) Anyway, rounding back to the question of would a woman rather be in the woods with a man or a bear, the resounding answer was the bear. When 8 women were polled on the street (I'm assuming this is how the question began and then went viral,) 7 said they would pick the bear. Obviously, this choice is very telling about the nature of men and how women view them. Even Marris thought the topic was kind of funny and jokey initially but when considering it, understood that it really wasn't. Some people feel that there is perhaps a lack of honesty in some of this but the reality is this is firmly a discussion about how women feel about men. A bear's natural instinct is to kill and eat you but a man is a more dangerous predator because there is a good chance he would assault you (and then maybe kill and possibly eat you.) Marris understands the notion of how men behave dangerously and was once a bodyguard to a team of women in one of his 87 other jobs (I should add "bodyguard" because even though he was boss, he felt protective of them.) They even had code words and hand signals in case issues arose which all things considered, is truly a wild way to have to live. Angi was complimentary of Marris protecting women as we all should be because it's not hard to be a good guy, ego just chooses to overlook that. To add another to the "I'd rather have a bear list," HP said she wants the bear as well because she has bear mace. While Marris questioned why HP carries bear mace, Angi went back to my earlier point on how a bear would just eat you. Marris added though that isn't fully the case as most bears are afraid of you outside of polar bears. If you happen to run into a polar bear in the wild, you're pretty much done. As we started to put this topic to bed, Angi added she too would choose to have the bear in the woods but also pondered why dudes are wandering around in the woods in the first place. Perhaps Smokey the Bear could have answered these questions but he disowned us when we burned down most of the forest last year.

Ah Monday, we start the week with a goal in mind, knowing that we will soon get a week off for Angi's big London trip and so we are going to hit you hard and fast all week so you'll be thinking about us while we're away. With that in mind, we came hot out the gate with a Daily Discussion Topic focusing on dealing with pain in the ass people. This topic was spawned from a hair stylist, who took to social media to offer up some complaints about things that frustrate and annoy them (the hair stylist community as a whole I'm assuming.) Being Late - be polite if this happens and apologize, there are other customers on the docket as well so don't just walk in and sit down like nothing happened. Trust the Expert - Tell them what you want but don't try to hairsplain them, they know what they're doing. Lice - for the love of all things, don't show up with lice in your hair. Marris, of course, was disgusted in hearing things but that's the underbelly of choppin mops. Don't Be Gross in the Chair - don't pick your nose, etc. Don't Invade Their Privacy - just because you treat the stylist like your bartender and spill your secrets doesn't mean you should be prying into their business. Wash Your Hair - don't go in with hair that hasn't been washed in weeks or is covered in gym sweat. Don't Try to Lend a Hand While Shampooing - Marris was confused why people would do this in the first place but as we've seen time and again, people are nuts. So, with that all firmly planted, the question was what bugs you the most about customers where you work? For us, the roadies are technically our customers and Angi had a few thoughts. Certain roadies will call daily asking if they won but not specificing what they assumed they won. If you win tickets, know that they are not delivered immediately and usually show up close to the actual show. Marris further elaborated that once your email is collected, things need to be processed and this isn't an instant gratification thing. Angi added that she feels bad for people who work at an airport gate or the ticket country. However, you have to keep in mind it is not their fault your flight is late because the wing fell off of your (mumble) plane when it took off. With this covered, we moved on to the Request Line to collect more complaints. Laura is a server, she would like some pleasantries and not food orders shouted at her when she is in eye range. Diana is a teacher and really entitled parents who act like their child is the only one in the class that matters and it really irks her. Head Roadie Ferrari said driving for a ride share and having the added bonus of asking for adjustments, shoving in an extra passenger, being asked to stop places and then leaving no tip is just awful. Danny works in a garden center and wants people buying plants to know that he is working and doesn't have time for their life story. Sam teaches PE and said that kids with behavioral issues are made a point of for a reason and your child is not being picked on. Also, those same kids need to learn about deodorant and showering after a gym class. Alex is a vet tech who is astounded people ask to have things done for free or if a pet is brought in after an incident but a week has passed (someone ran over Fluffy, can you fix him a week later?) Alan is in the service industry and people with specific kitchen requests are irritating. If you are looking for more roadie thoughts or have your own, hit up our Facebook group (Angi Taylor Show) and drop us a comment.

(please note, this is a general overview of what I intended to discuss, we usually go off the rails within 5 seconds.)
Another day, which means we're one step close to Halloween and that's all I can think about so let's crack open these notes, shall we.
Today, Abe and Angi gave a quick overview of roadies and head roadies, the listeners of the show and those who go above and beyond. To be a roadie is simple, if you listen to the show you already meet the criteria. However, if you want to be a head roadie, there are some requirements. First, you need to go beyond the tell 3 friend rule, which is where as a listener, you are expected to tell 3 friends about the show. Beyond that, all of your dial presets should be set to 95.5. Show us what you've been doing and why you should be a head roadie and a call in may change your life. Soon, all the doors will open for you, you'll get prefered call treatment when you call in the show, you'll even get the best spots at restaurants, too bad that isn't a perk you'll get to use until like 2024 at this rate. Also, if you have Twitter, be sure to follow me at Jay_the_Gay so I can keep track of you and add you to my special head roadie list.
Wanna know some of our head roadies and what they lead, here's a current list of them so far:
Jay the Gay- Secretary of the Show, Head of all Roadies
Mario- Head Roadie of Janitors
Nora- Head Roadie of Palos Heights
Glenn- Head Roadie of Plus Sized Women
Angel- Head Roadie of Railroads aka Railroadie
Gear Jammin Jeffery- Head Roadie of Teamsters 710
Trash Man Tim- Head Roadie of Trash Men
Nadine- Head Roadie of All Mothers
Erin McHappy Meal- The Number #1 Roadie
Sandy- Head Roadie of All Sandy's
Tony- Head Roadie of Aurora
Hayden- Head Roadie of Australia
Ferrari- Head Roadie of Uber Drivers
Mino- Head Roadie of Hermosa
Serbian Bill- Head Roadie of Darien
John- Head Roadie of Stalkers
Speaking of head roadies, today we christened a brand new one. His name is John and he's Angi's stalker. Seriously, John has been following her for years now, inside of Michael's, outside her bedroom window, waiting in the back seat of her car with a piece of wire. Anyway, for some reason John was made the Head Roadie of Stalkers and he wanted everyone to know that he doesn't like sharing his toys. Angi Taylor is an object now to be coveted apparently btw.
Finally, the 10 most popular sex dreams were discussed by Angi. For women, dreaming of sex with a friend, sex with a work collauge, sext with a stranger, sex with current partner and their partner cheating on them is what turns them on. For men, we dream about sex with an ex, embarassing sex dreams, group sex, celeberity sex and sex in a public place. No wonder I prefer men, at least we get freaky. For men. Sidenote: Abe assumed that Angi cheated on her boyfriend by having sex in the trunk of her car.

Extra Notes:

Abe believes that Burger King forces him to buy and eat 2 Whoppers because they are 2 for $6. That pretty much sums up why I'll be hosting the show with Angi at some point.

Tomorrow, Abe's Best Bet of the Week is back. After finally coming back from all the crushing defeat, Abe was able to make good on his promise of free paper and made it rain last week. So, sell your Aunt Bee, sell your car on Craigslist and borrow $5,000 from your brother and get ready to let it all ride.

Jay the Straight, the other man in Angi's life who isn't me and is well, straight, once accidentally elbowed Angi while she was sleeping. This is of course because he tosses and turns as some tend to do. The thing is the elbow was so hard he deflated one of her silicone breast implants, which wasn't noticed until she was in the shower and screaming ensued. Luckily, she was able to pee the silicone out.

Show Quotes and Tidbits:

"I touched George Clinton's shoulder and my hand stunk for like a week" - Abe

Abe Kanan Tip: "You should have every fast food app."

"What kind of garbage boobs do you have?" - Abe

Want to make Abe's life, then name a sportsbook after him. If not that, at least name a sandwich after him.

"Abe Kanan has the cleanest butthole in all of Chicago." - Angi
