The show that has all the NFL picks, every week, regular season and playoffs, spread and straight up, in much less detail. inmuchlessdetail.blogspot.com
The official euthanasia date for Blog Talk Radio is Jan. 31, so this should be the last episode of IMLD on this platform. Jay and Dre have a full football party as they walk into the darkness, giving their best and worst of the Divisional Round before picking the Conf. Finals featuring old friends making acquaintances once again. In the NFC, East rivals Washington and Philadelphia meet for the third time this season in the rubber match. In the AFC, Buffalo and Kansas City meet for the fourth time in the last five playoffs, and it's a rematch from a Bills win in the regular season. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre preview the Divisional Round in the NFL. On Saturday, the top seeds emerge from hibernation as the Chiefs host the emerging Texans and the Lions host the upstart Commanders. On Sunday, the Rams hit snowy Philly to take on the Eagles, then the best game this whole entire playoffs pops off in Orchard Park as Dr. Lamar and the Ravens visit Project Josh Allen and the Bills. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
It's a rare day where the hellsite is working, so Jay and Dre try to sneak in a show before the final collapse. They release the long-awaited best and worst awards for Week 18 in the NFL, then give out the hardware for Wild Fire Weekend. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre give it one more try to give a full two-hour football party, which has been cut off by the hellsite the last two attempts. They have their hardware for a bizarre NFL Week 17 before trying to beat a coin flip for the Week 18 games. The AFC North will be decided Saturday: if the Ravens fall to the Browns, the Steelers can take it by beating the Bengals, who could still make the playoffs if the Broncos and Dolphins choke on it Sunday. The Buccaneers win the NFC South if they beat the Saints, but if they don't, the Falcons back in by beating the Panthers. And a 14-win team will have to go on the road next weekend, but will it be the Vikings or the Lions? Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Dr. Lamar has re-entered the MVP chat with his outstanding performances the last couple of games. Josh Allen gets his chance at a rebuttal as the Bills host the Jets on Sunday. Dre and Jay have your picks ATS for the rest of Week 17 in the NFL including the Packers and Vikings battling on Sunday as they try to stick with the Lions in the NFC North, and the rookie-on-rookie prime time matchup as Michael Penix's Falcons take on Jayden Daniels's Commanders. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The boys hand out the best and worst in the NFL in Week 16. How did the new quarterbacks do? What moves were smarter than the others? Which was the dumbest? And what made Jay and Dre say WTF? Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The guys return for another football party, this time picking the Week 16 slate. Patrick Mahomes tries to play through his latest ankle injury as the Chiefs host the Texans on Saturday, followed by the Steelers trying to sew up the AFC North by sweeping the Ravens. On Sunday, Michael Penix Jr. debuts for the Falcons as they host the Giants, the Commanders take one last shot at contending for the NFC East crown as they battle the Eagles, and if they fail, the Seahawks can creep back into the last Wild Card spot if they knock off the Vikings. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
In a concession to the whims of the hellsite that is Blog Talk Radio, Jay and Dre have decided to run shows for an hour at a time instead of two hours, since the previous two shows cut off an hour into the proceedings. Therefore, tune in Thursday night while the Broncos-Chargers game is in progress to hear the boys give their best and worst of Week 15 in the NFL. Use your amulets and other special charms to ward off the podcast demons, and hopefully they (we) will be allowed to stay on the air for the duration of the progrum. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
By the grace of whoever is in charge of engineering this hellsite in its dying days, Jay and Dre will bring the full morning football party, handing out awards for the best and worst of Week 14 in the NFL before making their picks ATS for Week 15. The schedule is lopsided, so get your chores done during the first half of the day because all four games featuring teams with winning records take place after 4P: two of the hottest offenses go at it in Motown as the Bills take on the Lions, the Pride of Pennsylvania as the Steelers visit the Eagles, playoff hopes abound as the Buccaneers battle the Chargers, and on Sunday Nite, the Packers try to solve the red hot Seahawks. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre hand out the well-deserved awards for all of the best and worst and weirdest happenings in the NFL for Week 13. Then they have the picks ATS for the last week of football that won't be a full slate. Two games are division rematches of meetings that just took place two weeks ago: Jameis Winston and the Browns visiting Russell Wilson and the Steelers, and Geno Smith and the Seahawks taking on Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. Other action includes Kirk Cousins returning to Minnesota as a Falcon, the Bills going from snow to palm trees as they play the Rams, and another division rematch as the Chargers try to get even vs. the Chiefs. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
As the nation recovers from overeating on Turkey Day, there are twelve more NFL games to pick. The boys say sayonara to the Bears coach, who screwed up yet another game-ending situation in Detroit and did it so bad that Chicago had to fire him. Then they pick the rest of Week 13, which has the top two running attacks in the league facing off as the Eagles visit the Ravens, the Steelers trying to bury their hated rival as they take on the Bengals, and the 49ers looking to get their QB1 Brock Purdy back as they try to get back to .500 in the Buffalo snow. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The boys give thanks for twelve years of the hellsite, and also for the goofiness of NFL Week 12 as they award their best and worst of the week. Then it's time to pick the Turkey Day and Dark Friday games. On Thanksgiving, the upstart Bears battle the dominant Lions, the pisan Giants go to the sun-kissed Cowboys, and the progressing Dolphins visit the resurgent Packers. On Black Friday, the reeling Raiders challenge the challenged Chiefs.Aftershow: The long-awaited 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame breakdownMusic: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre reflect on an eventful NFL Week 11, giving out their best and worst of the week in football, and get you ready for the last Sunday before Turkey Day. It will be a Hallmark Family Holiday of sorts when the brothers Harbaugh lead the Ravens and Chargers into battle on Monday night. The day before, the Seahawks try to step over the Cardinals, the Eagles try to stay flying high against the Rams, and Random Allen tries to lead the 49ers to a road conquering of the Packers. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The boys bring the football party to the early morning once again as they review a crazy Week 10 in the NFL. Then they have all your picks for investments today and tomorrow. The league's most competitive yet one-sided rivalry continues as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs battle Project Josh Allen and the Bills. Another one-sided struggle takes place as Dr. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens go against a team that has contained him, the Steelers. On Monday, C.J. Stroud and the Texans try to take advantage of a wounded state rival as they visit Cooper Rush and the Cowboys. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre hand out the hardware for NFL Week 9. Do they have the unstoppable Lions or Chiefs as best of the week, or something else? Then they pick games for Week 10, which has a Giants-Panthers game in Munich, Germany so awful on paper that one wonders if the league really wants the German market. Back home, the undefeated Chiefs host the rival Broncos, the rested Steelers visit the upstart Commanders, and the streaking Eagles walk into Dallas to fight a wounded Cowboys unit that won't have Daktime anytime soon. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The most discussed Hail Mary in recent memory will certainly be a part of the best and worst awards handed out by Dre and Jay for NFL Week 8. The ending to the wild game between the Bears and Commanders was the biggest news all week. The guys make their picks afterwards for the upcoming weekend, which sees Dallas try to reverse their season in Atlanta, Denver try to make it two upsets in a row for Baltimore, Detroit try to virtually lock up their division early by winning in Green Bay, and on Monday, Kansas City try to stay perfect (but far from flawless) by holding off feisty Tampa Bay. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Dre barely broke 50% last week but took two games from Jay, so he'll do the honors when the boys award the best and worst of Week 7 in the NFL. Then they choose their investments for Week 8, which will see the return once again of Tua Tagovailoa to football "to the death of me" as the Dolphins host the Cardinals. In other action, the Eagles and Bengals try to figure out which team wants to start making a run now, the Bears and Commanders try to decide which upstart can keep surging, and the Cowboys and 49ers decide which struggaling franchise can stay at or above .500. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay got over in Week 6, taking five of the six that he and Dre differed on, so he'll get the honors as they award the best and worst of the week in the NFL. Then they preview Week 7, which has yet another London Jaguars game as they face the New England Patriots in Old England, the Lions and Vikings fighting for command of the NFC North, the Chiefs and Niners renewing Super Bowl acquaintances, the Texans and Packers playing as Jay takes in the festivities in Green Bay, and the miraculous recovery of Davante Adams and his hammy as his new squad, the Jets, fly into Pittsburgh on Sunday night. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre look back on their Bill Alfonso Week 5, split right down the middle, as they award the best and worst in the NFL over the past seven days. Then they give out their picks for Week 6 while the Jags and Bears play in London. Washington and Baltimore battle for Capitol supremacy, Detroit and Dallas threaten to blow up the scoreboard in Jerryworld, and on Monday, Buffalo tries to avenge the L they took Week 1 Monday last year to the New York Jets. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
While the Jets and Vikings do battle in London, the boys do their show in America. They hand out awards for NFL Week 4 before diving into their Week 5 picks (the London pick is already up on their respective Twitter accounts). Baltimore looks to keep dominating in Cincinnati, Josh Allen looks to keep having more camaraderie with Buffalo as they visit Stefon Diggs and Houston, and on Monday Kansas City looks to replace Rashee Rice and stay undefeated as they host New Orleans. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre try to have an early Sunday football party, if Blog Talk Radio is actually functioning. They give their awards for NFL Week 3 before making picks for the coming Week 4 mere hours away. Jordan Love looks to return for the Packers as they host the perfect Vikings, Justin Herbert looks to limp around again for the Chargers as they host the perfect Chiefs, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens try to build on the Dallas destruction as they host the perfect Bills, and on Monday the Dolphins trot out their 3rd quarterback in three weeks as they host the winless Titans, while the perfect Seahawks go to Motown for a wild one against the Lions. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The football party will be live and poppin' for Dre, though they will be drowsy due to the early morning timing. He has the proper Week 2 awards before previewing Week 3 in the NFL. Malik Willis may get a chance to avenge his Tennessee career, unless Jordan Love bounces back to start for Green Bay. Philadelphia goes to the Big Easy to try and stop the New Orleans juggernaut. And Baltimore goes to Dallas to see which perennial playoff squad can rebound from a tough L. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
While Dre is off cruisin', Jay handles solo host duties for the Week 1 Football Party and then gives our week 2 picks. Will the That's so Ravens bounce back? Will DeShaun Watson get popped for another scandal between showtime and tomorrow's games? Will the Panthers embarrass themselves 2 weeks in a row? Will Matt Lefleur show us all his geniusness and squeeze comptetent QB play out of Whatchu Talkin Bout Malik Willis? Tune in as Jay gives his thoughts and Dres (literally) mailed-in picks.Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
The boys are back with a new show open from Jay, last year's handicapping champion, and they're ready to forecast the rest of Week 1 in the NFL. The Caleb Williams Era opens in Chicago as they host Tennessee, while the Bears' old 1st-round QB Justin Fields leads Pittsburgh into Atlanta. Dallas faces a stiff defensive test in Cleveland, it's another Stafford-Goff former team reunion as the Los Angeles Rams battle Detroit, and on Monday, NFC champion San Francisco tries to ground the New York Jets. Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers
Jay and Dre open their twelfth season of the podcast previewing the NFL 2024 campaign. Once again, the league is trying to solve the problem that is Reid, Mahomes and the Chiefs. Will Kansas City pull off the 3-peat? Who will stop them? And what division and playoff picks are good (or bad) investments? The boys make space at the end of their show to pick two season openers: the World champion Chiefs on Thursday host the always ready Ravens, then on Friday the Packers battle the Eagles in the NFL's very first game below the equator. As the first weekend of preseason pigskin ends, the NFL Hall of Infamy presents its newest inductees. Join Jay and this year's host Dre for the latest members of the only Hall that matters. Who--or what--will make up the football Hall of Infamy Class of 2024? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
The immortals have new neighbors as the 2024 Baesball Hall of Infamy is ready for unveiling! Join Dre and this year's host Jay as they welcome the newest people (or events, or quotes) that baseball may have overlooked but IMLD has not. Who will be honored this year?? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
How is the Cleveland Baseball Club among the top teams in baseball in the first half of the season? How much is the Lakers drafting LeBron's kid being blown out of proportion? How much of a political trash fire is the summer going to be? Jay and Dre have no answers, but they'll spit some harsh opinions anyway. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay and Dre catch up after a long absence and chat about their lives, the sports world, and the many ways in which a life lived can garner respect or disrespect depending on one's actions and choices. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
No matter how much one tries to expect the unexpected at the NFL Draft, the surprises and shockers still make waves throughout the sports world, and this year's version in Motown was no different. Jay and Dre analyze the festivities that went down in Detroit, including the record run of offensive players to start the first round, the six quarterbacks that went in the first twelve picks, and specifically, the Twitter-melting choice of Jay's favorite team, the Falcons. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
While WWE has done much better at storytelling the last few years than they had been doing, there are still some plots that have left fans wondering what's going on. The Bloodline got stretched finally beyond its breaking point when the Usos jumped out and back in several times. Cody Rhodes got screwed out of winning the title last year and finishing his story, only to win the Royal Rumble again and get another chance, but that's been intertwined with The Rock seemingly sticking his nose into the title picture. And Roman Reigns carries on as forever champion. Dre will be joined by Jerry the Wrestling Expert to sort out the upcoming 40th Wrestlemania, which should have a lot of choice chants about Vince McMahon and others seeing that the venue for both nights is The Linc in Philly. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
No one expects the Los Angeles Dodgers to suffer greatly from the distraction that Shohei Ohtani and his interpreter's betting habits have provided. But what exactly is to be made of the situation surrounding the newest richest ballplayer? Jay and Dre consider that and other offseason moves by baseball teams looking to chase after the World Series champion Rangers and NL champion Diamondbacks. Will either pick Texas to repeat, or do they both see new kings in October? The boys preview the new season division by division! Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
After a one-year hiatus, Jay and Dre present their one (and only) bracket for the men's college basketball tournament. The tireless Dre will attend the Friday and Sunday sessions in Memphis charting data for the 1st and 2nd round games. So for the first time, he'll get to see some of his crappy picks nosedive live right in front of his face. Will Jay once again have the better bracket? Will one or both pick UConn to repeat, or will one of them choose a different path? Tap in and find out! Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay and Dre are joined by Dave the Movie Expert to preview the 96th Academy Awards. In this year's diverse field for Best Picture, the biggest surprise is usually which crappy Netflix film somehow got nominated. But the pinkest product placement movie evah gets in, which was a stunner to some. Does Barbie have a real chance at the Oscar? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
For the second time in four years, Kyle Shanahan's 49ers were beating Andy Reid's Chiefs in the Big Game by two possessions. But for the second time in four years, Patrick Mahomes II seized the opportunity to rally the troops and add to his legacy as possibly the best to ever play football. This time, it gave Jay the handicapping victory over Dre, the opposite of 2020. The guys recap the game and award the best and worst to all of the events. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
After two weeks of KelSwift, Mahomes legacy and Kermit voice, Purdy legacy and Oswald face, and Vegas all-time price gouging (reportedly), it's finally time to get ready for the actual game. Jay and Dre give out awards for Championship Sunday and the Big Game run-up before Jay has all the pressure of making the pick that can break Dre's near-decade run of winning their handicapping contest. So who ya got--the NFC champs from San Francisco or the defending champs from Kansas City? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Sure, you can check out the league's official Honors ceremony later this week, but that won't give you the full breadth of hey, wha happen in the NFL in 2023. For that, you must listen to Jay and Dre give out their year-end awards which capture the proud acheivements...and the not-so-proud. Awards Szn is here, so tune in for the IMLD Honors and Dishonors! Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Championship Sunday this year will feature four teams worthy of title contention: the two top seeds, the most hyped team coming into this season, and the defending champions. Jay and Dre give out the awards for last week's action-filled Divisional Round, then they break down the conference title games. Do they like the resurgent Chiefs or the rock-steady Ravens? Do they like the emotionally charged Lions or the shaky 49ers, who may only have their best receiver Deebo Samuel as a route-runner? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Wild Card Weekend was indeed wild, with youngbloods pulling off upsets, the harshest of winter conditions, and a 10-1 team completing their slow death. Jay and Dre hand out the deserving awards for last weekend's events before previewing a red-hot Divisional Round. Lamar Jackson leads top seeded Baltimore as they battle scrappy Houston. Brock Purdy's top seed San Francisco hosts the devil-may-care squad from Green Bay. Baker Mayfield will try to take Tampa Bay to another improbable W as they challenge Jared Goff in Detroit. And the next chapter in the Kansas City-Buffalo rivalry will happen in Orchard Park thanks to Kadarius Toney and the most infamous offsides in NFL history. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
The first round of this year's NFL playoffs will be defined by who can suck it up and play at a high quality in brutally cold conditions, that is, if they can take the field at all. Jay and Dre recap the best and worst of the final Sunday of the regular season, then get you prepared for Super Mega Wicked Wild Card Weekend Yay Sports! In their traditional Saturday afternoon spot is the AFC South champion Texans, who host Joe Flacco and the dangerous Browns. The high-flying Dolphins try to not get grounded in subzero conditions visiting Taylor Swift's Chiefs. On Sunday, the Steelers without EDGE TJ Watt try to stop the streaking Bills under arctic climes. The nothing-to-lose Packers try to hang another embarrassing postseason L on the Cowboys. Matthew Stafford leads his new besties, the Rams, into his old home, Motown, as they challenge the Lions. On Monday night, whoever's healthy on the moribund Eagles will take on Baker Mayfield's Bucs. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay and Dre really, really hope that the issues with Blog Talk Radio are resolved as they indicated they are in an email. They try to do a show at their scheduled time without interruption for the first time in several weeks. A wild Week 17 in the NFL calls for a round of awards for the best and worst, then the final round of picks for the regular season takes place. It's even more of a coin flip than usual with all the players getting rest for the playoffs (or getting a jump on their travel plans). The trusty IMLD Coin will play along as the boys decide if the Texans or Colts snag a playoff berth, if the Jags flop in Tennessee to give Houston or Indy the AFC South title, if the Packers grab a Wild Card by holding off the Bears, and if the Bills complete their long rally by winning in Miami and stealing the AFC East. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Dre and Jay give a quick show while this hellsite is working. The guys were ready to perform Saturday night, but this website did not accommodate. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Presuming BlogTalk Radio is working properly (always an adventure), Jay and Dre drop off their gifts for the holiday season, namely the best and worst of NFL Week 15. Then they look ahead to an entertaining Christmas weekend of football. The Browns and Texans fight for playoff positioning, the Cowboys and Dolphins both try to prove their legitimacy, and on Christmas night, Santa delivers what may be the game of the year as the Ravens and 49ers, two 11-win powerhouses, do battle. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay and Dre look back on the latest referee controversy, the most infamous offensive offsides ever in Kansas City, and the reaction by everyone afterwards, as well as the best and worst of NFL Week 14. Then they pick the Sunday and Monday games for Week 15 while the last of the Saturday three-way takes place. Will the Chiefs bounce back in one of Bill Belichick's last home games as Head Patriot? Will the Buffalo stampede through a killer sked continue against Dallas? Will the Ravens keep their hold at the top of the AFC in Duval? Will the Eagles snap their losing streak in Seattle? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Emotions ran high in the league last week as apparently the post-turkey/pre-holiday shopping period made some folks lose their minds. Jay and Dre recap the best and worst of Week 13 in the NFL before making their picks for Week 14. Will the Bucs or Falcons control the NFC South? Will the Bills finally take down the Chiefs in Arrowhead? Will they have to get the Springer bouncers to control the proceedings in Dallas when the Eagles fight the Cowboys? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
December football has arrived, and the boys have (somewhat) recovered from Thanksgiving to preview the upcoming Week 13 in the NFL. They recap the eventful Week 12 including the Turkey Day games before digging into this week's matchups. The Broncos visit the Texans in a surprising battle of winning teams, Patrick Mahomes goes to Lambeau for the first time ever as the Chiefs take on the Packers, and in an NFC title rematch, Brock Purdy tries not to get his elbow disintegrated as the 49ers challenge the Eagles. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay and Dre recover from Thanksgiving and Black Friday to hand out the hardware for Week 11 and pick the remaining contests for Week 12 in the NFL. Four of the better teams in the league competed already, so the Sunday slate is low on quality with only two games featuring teams both with winning records: the Jaguars and Texans fight for control of the AFC South, and the Bills start the "death murder kill" portion of their sked by going to Philly. Elsewhere, the Chiefs go to Vegas to battle Antonio Pierce's Raiders, and the Steelers and their new OC take on Jake Browning's Bengals. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Staring quarterbacks all over the league are dropping like flies, the latest coming Thursday night to begin Week 11. The mystery surrounding when Joe Burrow's wrist was first screwed up will play out in the future. But two other QBs return from bad thumbs to lead the Bears and Rams to, um, wherever they can lead them. Jay and Dre give out their awards for the best and worst of NFL Week 10 before picking all the Week 11 games. Can the Browns rally behind a bad backup QB to overcome the Steelers? Can Antonio Pierce keep the Raiders on track in Miami? Can Jalen Hurts and the Eagles avenge their February title loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Monday night? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
The second half of the NFL season commences this weekend, featuring a clash of the top two defenses in the league. Jay and Dre recap the best and worst of Week 9 before diving into Week 10, which has a rematch of Browns-Ravens that will hopefully be much more competitive than Round 1. The Europe games have their final contest in Germany as the Colts battle the Patriots, Joe Burrow and the Bengals look to continue their ascent against C.J. Stroud and the Texans, and Brock Purdy's 49ers try to end their losing streak as they face Trevor Lawrence's Jaguars. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Halfway through the long season, the guys reunite on their normal night to talk some football. Dre and Jay recap the happenings of Week 8 and the trades and firings that followed. Then they preview Week 9, which has the Dolphins singing some Wayne Newton and saying "Thank you" in Germany to Kansas City for sending them Tyreek Hill. Stateside, Geno Smith's Seahawks take on Lamar Jackson's Ravens, an NFC East war takes place in Philadelphia as the Cowboys battle the Eagles, and the Bills solemnly return to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in the place where Damar Hamlin perished and then reanimated. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay winds down his weeklong vacay, so Dre rides solo for the Week 7 recap and Week 8 pick show. He'll have Jay's picks and he'll give his thoughts on the Sunday NFL action. Will the Eagles, Dolphins and Chiefs complete division sweeps? Will the blue or green prevail in the Meadowlands Massacre? Will the baffling Bengals or the banged-up Niners come out on top in Santa Clara? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Jay is getting the family ready for a long vacation, so in advance of meeting Dre in Memphis for a ribs reunion, the boys are having their football party much earlier than normal. They will hand out the awards for the best and worst in the NFL for Week 6, then make picks for the upcoming Week 7. Will the Eagles and 49ers avenge their first losses of the season in their primetime games Sunday and Monday? Will the Bill Belichick Immolation Tour see another L when his Patriots host the Bills? Will the Lions or the Ravens emerge victorious in a battle of wannabe contenders? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
In the midst of a wild NFL season, it feels like we're witnessing the end of an era in Massachusetts. Bill Belichick's Patriots keep suffering embarrassing losses with no end in sight. Jay and Dre recap that Saints shutout and the rest of Week 5 before digging into their Week 6 picks. Will the Ravens rebound and take down the Titans in London? Will the Bengals continue their resurgence and knock off the Seahawks? Will the Cowboys recover from their latest embarrassment and clip the Chargers on Monday? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
An impressive statement was sent by the Bills in their win over the red-hot Dolphins. Was that the best thing to happen in the NFL, or was it something else? The guys give out their best and worst of Week 4 before previewing Week 5, which started Thursday with an inspired Bears team winning one for their legendary LB. Can the Bills keep their mo overseas against the Jags? How many nauseating injuries will the Steelers and Ravens give each other? And on Sunday night, will the Cowboys show the 49ers that they're up to snuff? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Forget a historic output in Miami, forget a major upset in Glendale, AZ, forget anything that happened in Week 3 because a singer came to a game and sat in a booth with a player's mother. Never ever ever has this happened, evidently. Jay and Dre try to focus and talk about the best and worst of the week before picking games for Week 4. Can the Dolphins keep the momentum going in Orchard Park? Can gimpy Joe Burrow keep his Bengals going in Nashville? And who will win the colossal tug-of-war between the league's two biggest losers, the Broncos and Bears? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Monday Night Football on ABC brought back memories for old heads, good and bad. Seeing Cleveland battle Pittsburgh on the network felt like the world was all right, but the Wide World of Sports slogan "The thrill of victory...the agony of defeat" came through for Nick Chubb in a most agonizing manner. Jay and Dre look back on the events of Week 2 in the league before making their picks for Week 3. The Chargers and Vikings are desperate for a win and will fight each other to get on the board, the Falcons try to keep the 2-0 momentum going as they take on the Lions, and the laughingstock of the NFL, Da Bears, have to get it together against the World champion Chiefs. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
Four snaps into his New York Jets career, on 9/11, Aaron Rodgers' Achilles exploded like the twin tow...no, that's low even for us...he got hurt real bad, and the Gang Green Super dreams went up in smoke. And they still won the game. Jay and Dre discuss the best and worst of NFL Week 1 before making their picks for Week 2. Will the other Monday night victims, the Bills, recover against the Raiders? Will the Bengals turn things around versus the Ravens? Can the Chiefs go to the league's Bermuda Triangle in Jacksonville and avoid 0-2? Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
In addition to the normal erratic play from teams that clearly haven't practiced and drilled themselves into cohesion yet, Week 1 of football this year will be marked by the inordinate number of men missing their opener due to hamstring and knee issues. There's Christian Watson, Mark Andrews, D.J. Chark, Jerry Jeudy, Cooper Kupp, Terron Armstead...and the Chiefs would prefer we don't mention Travis Kelce. Jay and Dre get you ready for the first Sunday of NFL 2023, which will see the 49ers out East vs. the Steelers, the Dolphins out West vs. the Chargers, the Cowboys and Giants on Sunday night again, and the start of the Jordan Love Era for the Packers as they battle the Bears. In the main event, the Bills welcome Aaron Rodgers to the AFC as they take on the Jets on Monday night. Theme music credit: "Quentin" by Strong Suit (CC BY-SA 4.0)
The storylines for the 2023 NFL season are aplenty: Will Patrick Mahomes be able to lead Kansas City back to the Big Game? Will Aaron Rodgers be able to pretend he's a good guy the whole year? Will Sean Payton rescue Russell Wilson in Broncos Country? Will Kyle Shanahan have to call Steve Bono out of retirement to replace his injured QBs? Has there ever been a non-playoff team with more hype than the Detroit Lions? Will Cincinnati ever protect their franchise QB Joe Burrow? And how dangerous do the NFC champion Eagles look? Jay and Dre will answer those and many more as they preview the new season. Then they make their pick for the Thursday night opener as the Super Chiefs host the ankle-biting Lions. Dre continues his summer of interviewing for college football entry-level scouting positions, with sometimes hilarious results. Can he defy the odds and talk some idiots into hiring him? He and Jay chat about their offseason escapades, the baffling first-place teams in baseball in June, and the crowning of new NBA champions in the Rocky Mountains. Nuggets Country, Let's Ride!

Jay and Dre check in before the Memorial Day weekend as the spring rolls on. Dre shares his experience on being scammed by a job that sounded too good to be true. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
For the second year in a row, the first night of the NFL Draft turned into TRADEAMANIA and added a spirit of mystery to the proceedings. Jay and Dre look back on what happened in Kansas City and laugh at how bad ESPN played themselves in attempting to shade Will Levis. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
The guys were not able to connect in Chicago for their fantasy baseball draft this year. The awful weather across the South and Midwest resulted in Dre's flight being canceled. But Jay soldiered on and made the journey. The boys chat about the new way baseball is being played and consumed. Dre gives his review of this year's Wrestlemania. And they send their best wishes for Jay's daughter Cute Factor, recovering from a broken leg. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Jay and Dre return for a second straight preview podcast, this time looking at their other favorite sport, baseball, which has been implementing rule changes over the last few years to speed up the game and attempt to appeal to younger audiences. This year's changes could radically alter the sport. The stopwatch for pitchers and batters that has been part of the minors has arrived at the majors, along with pizza box bases and the banning of the infield shift. What will baseball look like going forward, and will any of this affect the boys' picks? Listen live for a breakdown of each division and their choices to bring home the World Series trophy! Has WWE really built up a three-year Universal title reign for Roman Reigns only to have him job to one of AEW's co-founders? Will the Usos suffer a similar fate and drop the tag belts to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, signalling a Four Horsemen-like title liquidation? How hard will the Intercontinental three-way dance between Sheamus, Drew McIntyre and WALTER hit? Jay and Dre are joined by Jerry the Wrestling Expert to discuss one of the most anticipated Wrestlemanias in recent history, as the creative direction has taken a swift upturn last year after the resignation of Vince McMahon. How does this two-night show stack up? Tune in and listen! Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
For the 95th Academy Awards, the clear favorite for Best Picture is the fantasy film Everything Everywhere All At Once. Should it run away, or should another picture be given consideration? Dre and Jay ask the man who has (usually) seen all the nominees and can judge for himself, Dave the Movie Expert, who has his picks for all the major categories! The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs went to a football game, and an Olympic speed skating competition broke out. Jay and Dre recap the Big Game and tell you the good (the game itself) and the bad (the field and Refball) of the event. They'll have surprises, letdowns, and of course, WTF! moments. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
The Big Game is upon us, and Jay and Dre have their views on what to watch for, who will the X-Factors be, and who they got in SB LVII. After they review Championship Wknd, they give their picks for the big trophy. The youngest QB combo in Super Duper Bowl history face off. Will Patrick Mahomes and his bum ankle rise to the challenge, or will it be Jalen Hurts and his achy shoulder? Or will both be powered up and ready to ball after two weeks of rest? It's the Chiefs and the Eagles for all the marbles! Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Another football season is in the books, and only Jay and Dre can properly acknowledge the people and events that defined the NFL in 2022. Join the boys as they hand out the hardware and give the awards for the best--and worst--of the league! Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Championship Sunday doesn't get much tighter than this. Two games with tiny point spreads--one which has been bouncing back and forth all week like a Powerball--will take place today, and Jay and Dre will give their analysis hours before the Conference Finals commence. First, they award the best and worst of the Divisional Round weekend. Then they make their picks for the Super Duper Bowl participants. Will they back hotshot rookie Brock Purdy and the 49ers or gritty grindy Jalen Hurts and the Eagles? Will they back the Iceman Joe Burrow and the Bengals or gritty grindy Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs? Tune in live and get ready for all the action! Has there ever been fallout from a weekend of football like what we had this week? A high number of coordinators and assistant coaches were fired following Super Mega Wild Card Weekend, which goes to show how bizarre the six games were. Jay and Dre look back on all the madness before breaking down the four Divisional Round games coming up Saturday and Sunday. The Jaguars try to avoid being down 27 to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The Giants get a third crack at the Eagles, who hope their stud QB Jalen Hurts will be able to perform with his injured throwing shoulder. The Bengals visit the Bills in what surely will be an emotional scene as they meet up for the first time since Damar Hamlin went down in Cincy. The Cowboys take their hot-and-cold act to the Bay to take on Brock Purdy's 49ers. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Ready or not, the playoffs have arrived, and several teams will be forced to start their journey with quarterbacks who are not the starters who got them this far. Jay and Dre recap the last regular season action before picking the Super Mega Wild Card Wknd. Brock Purdy must purge the butterflies early as the 49ers start the playoffs hosting Geno Smith's Seahawks. The Jaguars get to fight on Saturday night again, this time hosting Justin Herbert's Chargers. On Sunday, whatever QB the Dolphins can conjure up in place of Tua will lead Miami to battle against their division rival Bills. The Fraud Bowl features two playoff teams who were outscored in the regular season, the Giants and Vikings. The star-crossed Ravens won't have Lamar Jackson at QB when they battle their rivals the Bengals. And on MNF Dak Prescott will try to avoid throwing the season away as the Cowboys face Tom Brady's Bucs. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
The only logical progression for this season of football, which has featured some of the most sickening, stomach-turning injuries in recent memory, was for someone to die on the field. Damar Hamlin will live in infamy as the man who died on the field. (His heart stopped Monday night and he had to be revived with CPR, so he technically was dead for a little while.) And the NFL's initial response was to pull an Owen Hart and keep the circus going. Jay and Dre discuss the horror of that Bills-Bengals "game" and the rest of NFL Week 17 before breaking out the coin and taking their best guesses at how Week 18 will go. Their Saturday picks will be on their Twitter feeds, so they will be talking about the Sunday finales. The Patriots try to get into the playoffs by winning in Buffalo, the Bengals try to force a dizzying playoff scenario if they beat the Ravens and pull "even" with the Chiefs should Kansas City stumble in Vegas, and Green Bay looks to fulfill Dre's 9-8 Wild Card prophecy by beating the Lions in Lambeau. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
The injuries are piling up as the NFL season winds down. The story is how much those injuries will affect the playoff chase in these last two weeks. Jay and Dre analyze the events of Week 16 before breaking down the upcoming weekend New Year's games. Teddy Bridgewater will have to lead the Dolphins again as they try to hold off the Patriots, the Raiders choose to discard Derek Carr at QB as they flail for a playoff spot hosting the 49ers, the Karen Rodgers Rally continues in Lambeau as the Packers try to even the score on the Vikings, and the Bills and Bengals will brawl in a terrific Monday nighter. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Over and over again, moments in Week 15 in the NFL had us throwing our hands up and saying, "I have no words for that!" Jay and Dre after a week to recover spend an hour finding the words to describe just what all that was. Then they pick Week 16 and try to decide what the league's going to do for an encore. The Cowboys have to take down Gardner Minshew's Eagles to keep their slim chances at a top seed alive, the heart attack-inducing Vikings host the playoff-contending Giants, and the Packers need to go Fishing in Miami on Christmas to continue their very late playoff rally. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
The football world has been hearing about the inches, or feet, of snow awaiting fans and players Saturday night in Orchard Park. At this point, is the Buffalo psychological advantage taken away since Miami has had so long to mentally prepare? Or can nothing prepare you for three hours of NFL punishment in those conditions? Jay and Dre recap a punishing Week 14 for quarterbacks, who have been getting pummeled this season, then look ahead to a full Week 15 sked while Fish-Bills on Saturday evening takes place. It's Lions-Jets on Sunday to see who's feistier, Titans-Chargers to see who can stay above .500, and Bengals-Bucs to see if Tampa Tom can keep his trash team in 1st place. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Jay and Dre found their way above .500 for their Week 13 picks, Jay with early afternoon success and Dre doing better late. They recap the best and worst from NFL Week 13 before making their picks for Week 14, where two playoff contenders, the Ravens and 49ers, prepare to go forward with 2nd (or 3rd) string quarterbacks. Baltimore fights their rivals in Pittsburgh, while San Francisco hosts the GOAT and Tompa Bay. The early action sees a variety of divisional battles, most notably in the two East divisions (Jets-Bills, Eagles-Giants), and on Sunday night, two draft rivals meet as Tua Tagovailoa's Dolphins visit Justin Herbert's Chargers. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Week 12 in the NFL was full of odd events and outcomes, like most weeks this year. The boys got bit by most of the games and shared losing records. But as always, Jay and Dre are back to identify the best and worst before trying to rebound with their Week 13 picks ATS. Deshaun Watson's suspension just happens to coincidentally end this week, when his Browns travel to the scene of the twentysomething crimes, Houston. More importantly, the football gods gift us with FIVE (!) games between winning teams: Jets-Vikings, Washingtons-Giants, Titans-Eagles in the AJ Brown Bowl, Dolphins-49ers in the Mike McDaniel on a Pole Match, Chiefs-Bengals in the AFC title game rematch. Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero (CC BY 3.0)
Time for Jay and Dre to rouse from their post-Thanksgiving naps and check out the rest of the Week 12 action in the NFL. They pick all the games, even the ones with new quarterbacks, like Bears-Jets which may have Trevor Siemian vs. Mike White, the Texans starting Kyle Allen in Miami, the Panthers going to Sam Darnold hosting Broncos Country, and Bryce Perkins replacing the concussed Matthew Stafford for the Rams in Kansas City.

Dre returned to his winning ways in Week 11, coinciding with him not gambling, though Jay did come through on his Lock. The boys look back on a week of football that seemed to be characterized by just bad play. Then on Thanksgiving Eve they break down the NFL's annual three Turkey Day games, this year featuring five of the six teams with winning records: the homestanding Bills play the second of their two-game set in Detroit against the actual home team Lions, the Giants fresh off of a Lions butt-kicking have to go challenge the Cowboys, and the Vikings fresh off a Cowboys butt-kicking host the GOAT coach and the Patriots.

A snowstorm taller than the average human choked out the city of Buffalo, but the football team was able to mobilize and fly to Detroit the day before they host the Browns in the Motor City. How will the chaos affect Jay and Dre's pick, if at all? After the guys discuss the proceedings of Week 10 in the NFL including the most eventful game of the year, they move on to predict Week 11. Jeff Saturday's Coaching Carousel gets a little tougher test as the Colts host the Eagles, the stumbling Cowboys visit the ever fortunate Vikings, and the league finishes its out-of-country itinerary for the year on Monday as the Niners and Cardinals battle in el Ciudad de México.

For over 30 years, Jay and Dre have been testing their football wits against each other picking games. Week 9 of this year was the first time that one of them could only muster as many pushes as wins...and both of them did it! The boys discuss another bizarre week in the NFL before trying to improve with their Week 10 picks. Tom Brady runs all the way to Germany to escape his marriage as the Seahawks take on the Bucs in Munich, the Packers try to end their losing streak as they host the Cowboys in Lambeau, and all of Buffalo waits to see if their MVP Josh Allen can play through his bad elbow as the Vikings drop in to Orchard Park.

Halfway through the 2022 NFL season, many questions remain for teams outside of the few that everyone agrees are on the mountaintop (Philly, Buffalo, KC). But even those teams fortified themselves at the trade deadline, all making smart deals that they hope will pay off in the playoffs. On their first morning show, Jay and Dre recap Week 8 and some of the trades, and chuckle at Dan Snyder announcing the commencement of the selling of the Washingtons. Then they make their picks for Week 9, which features TWO (!) games with winning teams: the Bills and Jets fighting for New York supremacy in New Jersey, and the Titans and Chiefs renewing their rivalry on Sunday night at Arrowhead.

Jay and Dre review a rollercoaster Week 7 that saw Jay stumble early before righting the ship late, taking both night games ATS including a classic Bear Whispering in Foxborough. The trade machine fired up for a couple of guys this week, as Kadarius Toney goes to the Chiefs, Robert Quinn joins the Eagles, and the Jets replace Breece Hall with James Robinson. And we found out how much Tom Brady loves football--more than his wife, evidently. The guys have another tough week of picks, as yet again, only one game in Week 8 "features" both teams with winning records, the Giants and the Seahawks. Elsewhere, Jay's prediction of the Broncos ending Nate Hackett's head coaching career after they play overseas is on the line as they take on the London Jaguars, undefeated Philly hosts Kenny Pickett's Steelers, and Aaron Rodgers is the biggest underdog he's ever been as the Packers visit the Bills.

It was Dre's turn to sweep the head-to-head picks from Jay in Week 6, just as Jay did in Week 3. The boys recap the Week 6 happenings, including the fallout from the Game of the Year between the Chiefs and Bills. Then they pick ATS for Week 7, a week "featuring" one whole game between teams with winning records, Colts at Titans. In other happenings, Dak Prescott looks to return for the Cowboys as they host the Lions, Tua Tagovailoa looks to return for the Dolphins on Sunday night as they host the Steelers, and as Kansas City tries to rebound in San Francisco, Christian McCaffrey puts on the 49ers colors after Carolina sent him packing.

The guys kept the big mo going with another week over .500 ATS for both, but the story of NFL Week 5 was how officiating was now overcorrecting football coming off the unfortunate Tua Tagovailoa issue. Now some regular tackles on QBs were being flagged even though there was literally no other way for the defender to make the play. And in the case of the Falcons, they were completely screwed out of a comeback opportunity. Jay and Dre try to figure out where tackle football is headed and discuss the rest of Week 5, then they dig into a tasty Week 6. Can the Pack manage to drop two games straight to New York? Can Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen have another classic as the Bills visit the Chiefs? Can Cooper Rush stay undefeated or will the Eagles keep their win streak and handle the Cowboys?

Week 4 in the NFL saw things go a little back to normal. Yes, there were events no one could have predicted, such as Geno Smith and Jared Goff having a shootout or Baltimore taking a huge lead on Buffalo and giving it all up. But way more favorites covered than had been this season, and Jay and Dre both put up double-digit wins ATS for the first time. They break down the happenings, then look ahead to Week 5, which sees the Kenny Pickett Era begin for the Steelers at the Bills coming off a tough game (yikes), the Packers in England for the first time as they take on the Giants, and the Eagles trying to stay undefeated in the desert against the Cards.

Dre ponders another rough week in NFL handicapping while Jay celebrates taking all five head-to-head picks in Week 3. The most discussed aspect of Week 3, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa being allowed to stay in the upset win over the Bills despite clearly being concussed, bled into Week 4, when he got stretchered off Thursday in Cincy in a disturbing scene. But the league and the team say his back was the problem, so nothing to see here, folks. The boys diagnose the rest of Week 4, which sees the first London game of the season between the Vikings and Saints, the last undefeated squad in Philly hosting the surprising Jags, and some headline QB matchups: Allen-Lamar, Russ-Carr, and on Sunday night, Mahomes-Brady.

Week 2 in the NFL saw a triple shot of improbable comebacks, one of which cost Jay his Lock and his wife her Survivor pick. How much was bad defense, how much was great rallying, and how much was officiating calling the games too tight and allowing losing teams to climb back? Later, the guys sink their teeth into Week 3 and make their picks. Buffalo tries to keep their sizzling start going in Miami, Green Bay and Tampa Bay square off in a battle of GOAT QBs, and the World champion Rams visit the desert for a high-flying duel in Glendale, Arizona.

Recapping the first week of football is always an exercise in Overreaction Theatre, but how does one make sense of this particular Week 1? Upsets, surprises, furious rallies...it was one of the wildest opening Sundays, and the boys try to dissect what it means before predicting Week 2. Tom Brady's toughest opponent as a Buc has been the Saints, and they do battle in the Superdome. Cooper Rush's Cowboys host the AFC champion Bengals. Aaron Rodgers tries to own the Bears again in Lambeau. A Monday night doubleheader has Derrick Henry's Titans visiting Josh Allen's Bills, while Justin Jefferson tries to show out again as the Vikings take on A.J. Brown and the Eagles.

The first full Sunday of football is upon us for 2022. Jay and Dre marvel at the display by the Bills in the Thursday opener, dominating the World champion Rams at every level. Then they make their ATS picks for the rest of Week 1 as all of the new WRs start the jelling process in this, the real last week of the preseason. Tom Brady opens his 65th NFL season as his Bucs go to Dallas, Baker Mayfield tries to feel dangerous hosting his new squad the Panthers against his old squad the Browns, and on Monday night, Russ Wilson takes his Broncos to Seattle for one last cookout.

Jay and Dre are proud to start their 10th year of the podcast. Dre is on record being confused by all of the offseason moves and not having much confidence in his predictions, while Jay is his usual even-keeled self. The guys give out their 2022 season outlook, dissecting what it all means when Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and A.J. and Hollywood Brown all change teams in the same offseason. They've got Super Bowl odds, division odds, and playoff odds as well. Then they christen the new season by picking the Thursday night opener between Josh Allen's angry Bills and Matthew Stafford's World champion Rams.

Jay and Dre fit in a quick show before Dre takes off to the Bahamas. Sports newz of late include the Browns finally fully committing to the Deshaun Watson mistake by jettisoning their #1 pick Baker Mayfield to Charlotte, the NBA awarding rings to the summer league champs for whatever reason, and Jets QB Zach Wilson making stud moves off the field.

Square in the middle of a hot summer, Jay and Dre have already totally dissected the hottest topic of this summer, the abortion debate. So with all of the graduation advice flowing, they've decided to go there. The guys give free hard facts and truths that they've learned over the years, and considering their history of saying what the heck they want, this one promises to be downright incendiary.

The boys check in before the Memorial Day wknd and catch up on things. Dre's prediction of the Reds as baseball playoff contenders is in the running as the worst in the history of IMLD. The new blood is providing some freshness to the NBA playoffs, though Dre is mourning the injury to the young Memphis flyer Ja Morant which killed any chance the Grizzlies had. And between the Supreme Court leak and the Rock & Roll HOF honoring Dolly Parton out of spite, 2022 is shaping up to be a year full of angrier-than-normal females. Dre has a personal perspective on the abortion issue, and it's not what you would think.

How do you find excitement in what was projected to be a lackluster NFL Draft? By turning it into TRADEAMANIA!! Jay and Dre--presuming they've recovered--try to look back at the wildest first round of a draft, which was fitting considering it followed the wildest offseason. Teams moving up two spots, the Steelers not being able to resist the hometown kid, stud WRs being dealt (but not the one everyone thought)...Vegas saw it all. And that was just Night 1!

Jay and Dre look back on their return to the Ad Hac baseball fantasy draft, live in Chicago for the first time in three years. They also have their (not so) hot takes on the absolutely bonkers NFL offseason, so chock full of player and coaching changes that it's impossible to break them all down in one sitting.

The game changed--literally--once the smoke cleared and the owners ended the lockout of Major League Baseball players a month ago. The playoffs got a Wild Card series instead of a one-and-done game, the defensive shift got banned (next year), and the universal DH finally came to the big leagues, ruining baseball strategy or sparing us the sight of pitchers trying to hit, depending on your point of view. Dre and Jay chop it up and break down 2022 on the diamond. Will they pick the Braves to once again claim the World Series despite letting the heart of the franchise walk to Los Angeles? If not, whose time has come to sit atop the throne?

Jerry the Wrestling Expert joins Jay and Dre to preview this coming weekend's two-night Wrestlemania card. If the main event seems familiar, well, they did Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns once before and decided to have Seth Rollins run in and win the match, cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. That's not an option this year, so it will be up to Lesnar and Reigns to live up to WWE's hype as the "greatest match in Wrestlemania history." Other matches featuring men 35 and up will include Edge fighting A.J. Styles, Drew McIntyre facing Happy Corbin, and Kevin Owens having some sort of confrontation in Dallas with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. There will be non-wrestlers wrestling too, including a very old and concussed Johnny Knoxville.

Dave the Movie Expert joins Jay and Dre once again to preview tomorrow night's Oscars. The Best Picture field is ten strong this year, and the field is very diverse. Will it be high noon for the Power of the Dog? Will Coda bring it home for the deaf community? Will making fun of the ignorant be rewarded for Don't Look Up? Will the Fresh Prince be served up awards for King Richard? Check in live for the odds and picks for the 94th Academy Awards!

The homestanding Los Angeles Rams rallied to knock off the feisty Cincinnati Bengals to claim the World title in a game that, like the rest of the 2022 NFL playoffs, had a lot of drama with some ugly play sprinkled in. The longest season in NFL history will finally come to its conclusion as the AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals travel to Los Angeles to take on the homestanding NFC champion Rams. Jay and Dre cover all the angles and make their picks for the Big Game straight up and against the spread. Which story is completed--the new Joe Cool going from hurt to champ in one year, or Matthew Stafford going from Detroit to champ in one year? The words to describe the Divisional Round weekend have been already uttered--stupendous, incredible, the best weekend of football in history--and the boys are here to share how they experienced it before making their Conference Championship picks. Saturday was monumental by itself, as both 1-seeds came off their byes only to get dumped out of the playoffs. Then Sunday blew it away, first by the GOAT leading another unbelievable comeback only to watch the third straight road win on a walkoff FG, then by Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes engaging in a prizefight for the ages. The victors of those contests do battle on Sunday as the unflappable Joe Burrow leads the Bengals to Arrowhead to challenge Mahomes and the Chiefs for the AFC title. Then Kyle Shanahan's 49ers try to keep their winning streak over the Rams going in SoFi for the NFC title.

The mega super Wild Card Wknd produced some clunkers, but it also produced some very memorable moments. Just ask Dak Prescott, if you can find him. Jay and Dre recap the NFL's 1st round of the playoffs, which saw the Raiders and Cowboys come up just short and the Pats, Eagles, Steelers and Cards come up limp. Then they look at the divisional round, which sees the top seeds in action on Saturday as the Titans (and the King) host Joe Burrow and the Bengals, then the Packers in Lambeau against Deebo Samuel and the 49ers. On Sunday it's the World champs in Tampa hosting Matthew Stafford and the Rams, then the next opportunity for the rampaging Bills to level up as they try to avenge last year's AFC title loss to the Chiefs.

To think that all of the tension surrounding the oh-so-close tie that the Bolts and Raiders almost had to end the season would have been a nothingburger if the Colts had done their job and took down the Jags...but with that stunning L, the scene was set for a Sunday night spectacle. And what drama it was. Jay and Dre look back on perhaps the most memorable finale of all time and put a bow on 2021. Then it's time to pick the Wild Card matchups. Las Vegas for finding their way in gets a date with Joe Burrow and the Bengals. The Patriots and Bills, as destiny would have it, square off in a rubber match. The Eagles draw Tom Brady and the World champion Bucs. Jimmy Garoppolo and his bad thumb go to Jerryworld for a shootout with the Cowboys. Ben Roethlisberger should play his final game in Kansas City, but count the Steelers out at your own risk. On Monday, the Cards and Rams also settle their regular-season stalemate.

There's no denying that Week 17 in the NFL was unusually crazy. It will go down as one of the weirdest Sundays in history, what with Antonio Brown auditioning for Striptease 2, the Bengals rallying to beat the Chiefs and clinch the AFC North, the home finales (?) of Russell Wilson and Ben Roethlisberger, and...whatever that fraud was that was perpetrated by the Giants in Chicago. Jay and Dre recap before making the Week 18 picks along with Coin. The week that felt like it would never arrive doesn't have much playoff drama. The Colts could lose their spot to the Steelers if they get beat by the Jags. The Titans open the door for the Chiefs, Bengals, or Patriots to take the 1-seed in the AFC if they lose in Houston. The Saints steal a Wild Card spot if they win and San Fran loses. And of course, the Sunday night win-and-in game sees the Chargers take on the Raiders.

The calendar may have changed to 2022, but the song remains the same for Week 17 in the NFL as so many games have key players out due to COVID protocols. Even as the league and the CDC rearrange recommendations so that players and people can return to work faster, some still will be forced to sit out a game. The boys look at the happenings of Week 16 (and sort out a standpoint on one of the picks) before digging in to the penultimate week in the longest season evah. The Chiefs can lock the top seed in the AFC if they can handle Hurricane Burrow and the Bengals and also if the Titans bite it hosting the Dolphins. Tennessee still wins the AFC South if Carson Wentz can't get cleared in time to help the Colts beat the Raiders. The Bengals take the AFC North with a win, but if Snoop Huntley and the Ravens bow down to the Rams, Cincy is in great shape too. The Rams take the NFC West with a win and a Cards L in Dallas, and if the Cowboys fall, the Packers clinch home field by handling Sean Mannion's Vikings.

There's a special feeling going around America as the holiday season rolls on. For the love of God, if you have that feeling, get it tested. There's a pandemic, in case you haven't heard. Jay and Dre look back at a COVID-ravaged Week 15 which stretched out over six days and resulted after all that with both posting 8-8 records ATS. Then they look ahead to Week 16 which may be similarly COVID-ravaged. Cleveland gets its guys back from Omicron just in time to open a Christmas doubleheader in Green Bay, then Indianapolis takes on a reeling Arizona team ravaged by the Lions. On Sunday, Baltimore and Cincinnati fight for the top of that insane AFC North, Buffalo gets another chance to take down the GOAT coach in New England, and Pittsburgh tries to survive another week in the playoff hunt by knocking off Kansas City.

This 2021 football season has moved past drunk and has entered the Twilight Zone, the stage where games are affected by quarterbacks messing up their ankles and toes or by Omicron, whichever strikes first. Jay and Dre recap a very good Week 14 for their picks--a combined 21-7 ATS--and chat about an insane Thursday night game. Then they make their picks for Week 15, which sees...a LOT of games affected by COVID absences. The Patriots and Colts brawl in Indy on Saturday, both off the bye. On Sunday, the Bengals and Broncos battle to stay in the AFC playoff picture, and Lamar Jackson's bad foot may prove very costly as his Ravens host the Packers. The Browns on Monday host the Raiders, but Cleveland is down to their 3rd QB, and on Tuesday the Eagles host Washington as part of the NFC playoff struggle.

It was quite the scene in western New York Monday night as New England brought football back to the 1920s and beat Buffalo while throwing the ball all of three times. Jay and Dre review that and the rest of a bonkers Week 13 in the league, then they pick all the contests of Week 14, a schedule chock full of important division matchups: Cleveland tries to climb the compact AFC North ladder as they host Baltimore, Las Vegas tries to jump up a similarly tight AFC West in Kansas City, and the Rams try to avoid getting swept by the Cardinals in a Monday night fight in Arizona.

Jay and Dre are into a rhythm that's leaving both frustrated. Dre after his midseason malaise has put out two straight double-digit win weeks ATS, yet he has lost his Lock both weeks. Jay has won his Locks to close that gap, but he is losing picks to Dre three weeks in a row. They both break down Week 12 in the league, then try to get it right in their Week 13 picks. Can the stuggling Rams turn things around in Cincinnati? Can the hot Potato Skins keep the momentum in Vegas? Can Bill Belichick extend his six-game win streak and, like a Marvel villain, lead his Patriots over the last remaining hero to conquer, the mighty Bills?

Another wild week of football jumped off in Week 11, which saw both the Vikes and Pack leave each other too much time, the Titans rack up 426 yds of offense and lose, and the Chiefs pull off a big win thanks to their...is this right...defense?!? Jay and Dre examine those games and the Triple Gobble, then look ahead to the rest of Week 12. Can Tampa's run D slow down Jonathan Taylor and the Colts? Can the Rams regroup off the bye and take down the Packers in Lambeau? Can Baker Mayfield limp into Baltimore and knock off a returning Lamar Jackson and the Ravens?

Last week Dre lamented his turn of luck in having a 12-game lead over Jay after Week 6 melted down to nothing by Week 9's end. So Dre sweeps all seven picks from Jay in Week 10, which makes total sense if you concede that this NFL season is drunk off its ass. The guys recap that crazy Week 10 before trying to figure out what fresh goofiness Week 11 will bring. Two offenses will, er, should fly high as the Cowboys battle the Chiefs, two teams that are pointing up clash as the Colts visit the Bills, and two teams whose rollercoaster seasons perfectly represent 2021 face off as the Bengals go to Vegas.

The picks have turned ice cold for Dre as the temperature drops. He went from dreaming of a .600 season to tied with Jay at a couple games under .500 as the NFL cycles through a brutal series of upsets and backdoor covers. The boys review a Week 9 that was shocking for most but not for Jay, who won eight games. Then they pick the Week 10 slate. Despite lots of missing stars in Nashville the Saints and Titans do battle, the Turmoil Bowl features the struggling Chiefs taking on the traumatized Raiders, and Russell Wilson returns to Wisconsin as the Seahawks visit Karen Rodgers and the Packers.

We get to fall back an hour in the U.S. And Dre got to fall way back in the handicapping race with Jay, who gained three more games on him thanks to his 3-12 Week 9. A sizable number of those Ls came when backup QBs and RBs took over and gave some legendary next-man-up outings. The guys discuss a massive news week before picking Week 9's contests, which see a Titans squad without King Henry go to SoFi Sunday night to take on the Rams, a Cards team possibly without Kyler Murray go to Santa Clara to play the 49ers, and the Packers without the great homeopath Aaron Rodgers battle the Chiefs.

As Jay gets away with his family on a Halloween weekend, Dre gives a Sunday morning solo show with all of the picks for Week 8. He'll share Jay's notes as well. Who lays claim to the bottom position in the AFC North when the Steelers battle the Browns? Can the Titans keep their momentum visiting their AFC South rivals, the Colts? Can the Saints get a big Superdome win over the Bucs and stay within shouting distance of the NFC South? And will the Cowboys be at full strength to fight the Vikings or will they have the spooky sight of Cooper Rush at QB?

Jay and Dre recap a Week 7 in the NFL full of beatdowns. Only one early Sunday afternoon game and the Monday nighter ended within one score. And Jay opened a can on Dre, sweeping their five head-to-head picks. Tune in to hear what the guys learned and took away from such a one-sided week.

The boys look back on an active Week 6 in the NFL, including Dre commenting on how it feels as a Bears fan to be owned by a Packer. Then they give their predictions for a light Week 7 ATS. The Titans attempt to take down two huge AFC squads in a row as they host the Chiefs six days after slaying the Bills, the Raiders attempt to keep their post-Gruden mojo working as they host Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, and the Bengals attempt to slay another legacy division rival after knocking off the Steelers in Week 3 as they visit Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

Jay and Dre have an abbreviated football party as Dre flies in from his vacation just in time for the show. They make their NFL Week 6 picks ATS, including the Cards defending their perfect record in Cleveland without their coach, the Raiders beginning their Rich Bisaccia Era in Denver, and the Bills on Monday continuing their vengeance tour trying to take out the Titans in Tennessee. Later, Dre tells all about the Virgin Voyages cruise aboard Scarlet Lady. Was it as scandalous as feared? Listen to the podcast and find out!

Jay and Dre both drowned in their "love" of Tawmy, losing their double Lock in Week 4 as the Bucs couldn't cover against the Pats. The guys recap the events of last week before looking ahead. Jay had a brutal week overall, but not as brutal as Urban Meyer when he got home and had to explain why a coed was grinding on him at his restaurant. On the Week 5 docket: a Sunday night shootout between young gunslingers as Pat Mahomes and his Chiefs host Josh Allen and the Bills. Trey Lance gets his first start as the 49ers try to hand the Cardinals their first L. And the NFL returns to Britain to showcase the best the league has to offer: Jets-Falcons.

Jay and Dre get to show off their geniusness coming off a pair of 11-5 Week 3 records ATS. The guys discuss the Rams handling Tompa Bay, a shameful display by the Bears, and whether the Chargers have officially announced that they're grown and no longer Kansas City's sons. Then they make their Week 4 picks. Carolina gets its first real test in Dallas. The NFC West has an undefeated showdown as the Cardinals challenge the Rams. And the world will be in a frenzy Sunday night for the return of the prodigal son back to New England. Rob Gronkowski comes back to...wait a minute, he's got bad ribs...but Tom Brady will also return as the World champion Bucs battle the former champion Patriots.

Due to covering Week 2's happenings in this past Wednesday's show, Jay and Dre give an old-school one-hour picks-only show. Week 3 in the NFL will see the two longest-tenured coaches in the league facing off as Sean Payton's Saints visit Bill Belichick's Patriots, Justin Fields will try to not get brained by Myles Garrett as the Bears take on the Browns, the divisional rivalry of the future might be a present challenge for Pat Mahomes and his Chiefs as they host Justin Herbert and the Chargers, and the champion Buccaneers head to SoFi to battle Matthew Stafford's Rams.

It's HOSTILE TAKEOVER WEEK on the IMLD podcast. Dre is off in Mexico, hopefully drinking bottled water, so Jay mans the mic, wth the help of the Cute Factors, and attempts to break down the dumpster fire that was our Week 1 picks. After that, they unveil their Week 2 picks, chock full of reactions, massive overreactions, and downright dismissals of the Week 1 outcomes. Will the Pack bounce back? Will the Browns close a game out? Will Justin Fields replace the Red Rifle? Can the Bills and Ravens avoid 0-2 starts? Can Dre and Jay have a winning week? The first of eighteen weeks of NFL begins in full, and Jay and Dre dig in to each game ATS. The scoreboard in Nashville gets an early workout as the Cardinals visit the Titans, The Steelers have a colossal task if they want to start this season undefeated as they battle the Bills, the Jameis Winston Era in New Orleans starts in Jacksonville hosting Green Bay(?), and the Browns get a tough test facing a healthy Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs. On Monday, the cursed RB room in Baltimore heads out to Vegas to tackle the Raiders.

The guys continue their season preview with their NFC breakdown. Tom Brady joined up with Bruce Arians and a fantastic defense to surge through the playoffs on the road as a Wild Card and knock off the defending champion Chiefs for the World title. Will the Bucs repeat that improbable run? Will the Packers make one last push to the top in what seems to be Aaron Rodgers' Last Dance? Will Sean Payton bring the Saints back to glory in their post-Brees era? Who will emerge from the wild wild West? And does Dre keep celebrating his Bears bringing in Justin Fields once the games begin and Andy Dalton mans the helm? Speaking of games, Dre and Jay pick the first game of the new year in Tampa between Dak Prescott's Cowboys and the World champion Buccaneers.

Will Patrick Mahomes come back from his bad foot to once again lead Kansas City to the top of the conference? Will Lamar Jackson put it together and lead Baltimore back to the Big Game? Is it time for Josh Allen to take Buffalo to the head of the table? Can the physicality of a Derrick Henry-A.J. Brown-Julio Jones trio take Tennessee to the pinnacle? Jay and Dre catch up on the happenings in this second Summer of COVID, coinciding with a Summer of Guns, as the Washington Nationals found out firsthand. The NBA Finals swing sharply from Suns in 4 to Bucks possibly running off 4 in a row. The Olympics are a hot mess, and they haven't even started yet. And Jay took his kids to a Cubs-Brewers game and a Bears-Pack clash broke out.

Jay and Dre check in on the sports world as the summer heats up. What will become of the new crackdown by MLB on "substance abuse" by pitchers? What will become of Julio Jones in his new role as veteran receiver for the Titans? Is the new blood rising in the NBA playoffs good for the game or a poor substitute for the missing stars? And how horrifying is it to have feet on your back as part of your massage?

Dre said the Chicago celebration for the Bears moving up to draft Justin Fields would last all summer, and Dre and Jay welcome Kass and one of the biggest Bears fanatics, Renard from Football Fan Rush Radio to chat about the pick. Is it cause for partying in Chi-Town, or is it just a desperate last-minute gambit by GM Ryan Pace? Should the fans feel confident that Matt Nagy can coach Fields up? Is the Chi setting itself up for another diasppointment? And who should take the field in Week 1, Fields or "QB1" Andy Dalton?

The first round of the NFL Draft had a shadow hanging over it this year, as news of Packers great Aaron Rodgers' discontent spread everywhere. But while the presence of Green Bay possibly trading their Hall of Famer away was felt, it was division rival Chicago that made the bold move up (again) to get a new quarterback in Justin Fields. Jay and Dre look back on a night that saw three signal callers go in the first three picks and five in the first round overall, and a night that felt celebratory and over-the-top, just as you'd think the league would do in its first Draft with fan interaction since COVID.

Jay and Dre are happy to welcome back Dave the Movie Expert to examine 2020's eccentric list of movies nominated for the Academy Award. In the wake of last year's nationwide police evildoing, 1960s Chi-Town unrest is fertile ground for two different films. Will one of them claim the Oscar? Will Chadwick Boseman be posthumously honored with a Best Actor statue? And how the heck did the two standout performances in Judas and the Black Messiah both garner Supporting Actor nominations? Supporting who, each other??

What are their thoughts on the Chicago franchises? What clubs are ready to make the jump into legit contenders? With so many college hoops legacy teams struggling (and Duke not even in the field), it seems wide open for a squad not normally in title games to take the crown down. Snow and ice and harsh winter weather are no strangers to Chi-Town natives Jay and Dre. But Jay has resided in central Wisconsin for years, so he is even deeper immersed in polar weather, whereas Dre has resided in the Mid-South for the last decade and thus was ill-prepared for the Icing of America a couple weeks ago. The boys talk about their experiences with the awful conditions, and touch on other topics like a baseball exec saying the quiet part out loud, a basketball owner doing what he thought was best until the league got wind of it, and the John Cena of the NFL landing in the desert.

The Divisional Round in 2021 has a distinct QB youth movement in the AFC and a battle of all-time greats in the NFC. Jay and Dre look back on a wild Wild Card Wknd in the NFL before breaking down the upcoming divisional round games. On Saturday, Jared Goff and his collapsible thumb lead the Rams to the fronzen tundra to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Later, two hot shot QBs square off as Lamar Jackson's Ravens pay a visit to Josh Allen's Bills. On Sunday, Baker Mayfield's Miracle Browns draw the World champion Kansas City Chiefs. A buzzworthy finish to the 2020 season sets up the NFL's first Super Wild Card Wknd, with six games instead of the usual four. Jay and Dre try to decipher the decisions of Week 17 before sharing their Pick-6. On Saturday the playoffs begin with the patron saints of early Wild Card games, the AFC East champion Bills, as they host Philip Rivers and the Colts. Then the Rams drag Jared Goff and his busted thumb to Seattle to take on Russell Wilson and the NFC West champion Seahawks. In the nightcap, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers invade DC where Chase Young and the NFC East champs hope to defend Washington better than the Capitol Police. On Sunday the two most destructive ground attacks clash as Lamar Jackson and the Ravens visit Derrick Henry and the AFC South champion Titans. Then Mitch Trubisky and the Bears play the only not-chilly game of the wknd in the Superdome versus Drew Brees and the NFC South champion Saints. Finally, Baker Mayfield and the Browns attempt to rise from under the shadow of their daddies, the AFC North champion Steelers.

Nothing is as aggravating as picking football games in Week 17, what with all the uncertainty surrounding which players are playing and which aren't and which are going to start but then sit after a couple of 1st downs. That's why Jay and Dre started flipping a coin for giggles to see how much better a literal coin flip would do in the NFL's final regular-season action. Now, enter the coronavirus. What was already a maddening exercise becomes that much more difficult, as several teams are battling COVID outbreaks as they try to prepare for the playoffs. The boys and the Coin do their best to find the surest plays for Sunday. There will be a ten-win team in the AFC that will miss the postseason, even with the extra Wild Card slot. Will it be the Colts, Titans, Dolphins, Ravens, or Browns? In the NFC, which squad--the Cards, Bears, or Rams--will fall out of the playoffs? And who will finally claim the putrid NFC East?

A small Christmas football party is apropos for 2020, so like many people, Jay and Dre will have a short gathering. The boys host a 30-minute special to get you ready for the NFL Saturday tripleheader. First, the Buccaneers try to solidify their playoff position by taking down the Lions in Detroit. If they falter, the Cardinals can immediately take a step up in the NFC if they can beat the 49ers. In the nightcap, the Dolphins can hold their AFC position and crush the hopes of the Raiders if the Fish can win in Vegas.

Now that their undefeated season is up in smoke, the Pittsburgh Steelers are free of the pressure, free to right the ship, free to...get whooped in primetime by the Bills. They're so off, the biggest Steelers megafan called in to the last show...and picked against them correctly! Where does Steeltown go from here? Jay and Dre chat about all of the silliness from Week 14, including another all-time ATS bad beat that they both won, then they look ahead to Week 15. The Patriots get to hear Taps in their heads for their slim playoff hopes if they lose in Miami, the Chiefs and Saints battle in the Superdome, and Baker Mayfield and the Browns have arrived and get flexed into Sunday night as they visit the G-Men.

There weren't a lot of "experts" predicting the Washington Potato Skins to knock off the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13, but Jay was front and center, clearly stating that the Football Team would not only cover the spread but win outright. And unlike Dre usually does, Jay didn't predict the last undefeated team to lose several times before nailing it. The guys try to predict all the games in Week 14 after looking back on a busy week in the NFL. Can the Steel Curtain rebound Sunday night in Buffalo? Can the other one-loss squad, the Chiefs, survive a tough road test of their own in Miami? And which versions of the Ravens and Browns will show up when they clash Monday in Cleveland?

Jay and Dre recap the longest week the NFL could ever have or ever imagine, from the morning of Thanksgiving all the way to the end of the Steelers win over the Ravens this past Wednesday evening. Week 12 was buzzworthy, but the buzz wasn't good news. The saga of that Wednesday game and the shameful exhibition of football in Denver put a large spotlight on how the league is handling the Year of Corona. Week 13 has its peculiarities as well. The guys pick all the games, including two AFC playoff contenders as the Browns face the Titans, two NFC West rivals as the Rams visit the Cards, and Arizona's stadium being repurposed as the 49ers home Monday when the Bills take on San Fran.

On the docket for now: the Titans and Colts duke it out for control of the AFC South, the Chiefs and Bucs feature a battle of young money vs. old GOAT as Patrick Mahomes takes on Tom Brady, and on Sunday night, Mitch Trubisky gets another shot to lead the Chicago Bears as they visit their hated rivals in Green Bay.

First, the Disciples of Belichick do battle as Romeo Crennel's Texans take on Matt Patricia's Lions. Then, what used to be Cowboys & Indians is now just a Football Team visiting Dallas. Jay and Dre pined for Jameis "Wild Thing" Winston on last week's show, and then Drew Brees came up with busted ribs, so the path seemed set for Winston to get some starts at QB for the Saints. However, genius coach Sean Payton may elect to use Taysom Hill as his starter despite his lack of experience at the position. The guys look at the happenings of Week 10 in the NFL before revealing their picks for Week 11. New Orleans with someone other than Brees under center will host the Falcons, a rematch of last year's playoffs features two physical teams as the Titans take on the Ravens, the Chiefs look for revenge in Vegas, and on Monday, a key NFC clash sees the Rams visiting the Bucs.

Jay and Dre spent the last show tempting fate by talking about all the other picks they could have chosen as Lock of the Week instead of the one they both chose, Arizona over Miami, and boy howdy, did they pick the wrong Lock. They both had good weeks despite the double-doink, and they chat about their Week 9 before diving in to the Week 10 picks. Those same Cards try for redemption hosting the Bills, their NFC West competition dance with eash other as the Seahawks battle the Rams, and athletic QBs are on the Sunday night menu as the Ravens visit the Patriots.

Now that Dre has taken a one-game lead over Jay for the NFL season picking ATS, Dre resisted the urge to demand that the records freeze here and now. Unlike the president, Dre and Jay have always counted every game as the truest test of their handicapping skills, and this year is no exception. The boys catch up on a busy Week 8 before jumping into the Week 9 docket, which features two all-timers on Sunday night as Drew Brees's Saints visit Tom Brady's Bucs. The Ravens try to rebound from a tough loss as they take on the Colts, and two division leaders do battle as the Bills host the Seahawks.

The spider webs are hung, the pumpkins are carved, and Jay and Dre are ready for the Halloween football party. The boys look back on their Week 7 picks--some good, some ghoulish--then they dig into Week 8, which features the Steelers in the week's highlight game again, this time visiting the Ravens. Sunday will also see the 49ers try to put a dent in the Seahawks' division lead, the Saints and the Bears do battle without their leading receivers, and the most horrifying, frightful mess of a game all year may be the winless Jets visiting the World champion Chiefs.

The COVID-related postponement of the battle of undefeated teams between Pittsburgh and Tennessee was relocated to this week. Both squads are still undefeated, so the league gets to have a major clash despite the delay. Dre and Jay recap a contentious Week 6 which resulted in a split of their eight disagreements, then they dig into the upcoming Week 7 docket. In addition to Steelers-Titans, COVID concerns have moved the Tampa-Vegas game out of primetime for fear of having to kill it altogether, and instead the undefeated Seahawks play on Sunday night in Arizona. The 49ers coming off a big Sunday night win of their own travel to New England, and on Monday, the worst 5-1 team evah, the Bears, take on the Rams.

Under no circumstances should any game on the schedule be considered a certainty for the rest of the season, but tentatively, there are twelve games coming this Sunday, followed by another Monday night doubleheader. Jay and Dre look at the occurrences of Week 5 in the NFL--the good (Dre goes 11-3), the bad (the Falcons finally hit rock bottom) and the ugly (Dak Prescott's disgusting busted ankle). Then the guys have their Week 6 picks against the spread. Control of the AFC North is at stake as the Browns take on the Steelers, two legendary QBs do battle as Aaron Rodgers takes the Packers to Tampa to play Tom Brady's Bucs, and on Monday, Pat Mahomes tries to revive the Chiefs after their first loss in almost a year as they visit Josh Allen's Bills.

The Oprah-inspired giveaway of coronavirus has officially made its way to the NFL, as Cam Newton, half the Titans, and others have been afflicted in the past week. Coronapalooza is wreaking havoc on the schedule, resulting in two Monday games last week and this week and a Tuesday nighter upcoming, and it's probably just the beginning. The boys look back on Jay's two-game sweep of Dre in Week 4 before moving on to their Week 5 picks. Two surprising 3-1 teams go head-to-head as the Colts take on the Browns, Philly and Pittsburgh have an intrastate clash, the Monday doubleheader this week has the Cam-less Pats hosting Brett Rypien's Broncos and the Chargers with their franchise QB Justin Herbert playing the Saints, then on Tuesday Tennessee will attempt to finally play in a battle of undefeated squads as they are slated to host the Bills.

Regardless of Week 3 winners and losers in the NFL, the news of the past week is that COVID-19 continues to ruin anything in its path, postponing what would have been a battle of undefeateds in Week 4 between the Steelers and Titans after a coronavirus outbreak in the Titan organization. Jay and Dre talk about an active Week 3 which saw Dre get on track with his first winning week of picks. Then they make their selections for Week 4, which features a spotlight of overhyped teams as the Browns take on the Cowboys, two playoff teams trying to avoid 0-4 as the Vikings visit the Texans, and two master strategists matching wits as Andy Reid's Chiefs host Bill Belichick's Patriots.

There will reportedly be enough players to stage Week 3 in the NFL, and Jay and Dre will attempt to predict what will happen. It was another rough week for Dre in Week 2, especially for his Lock, which Jay tried to warn him would sink like the Titanic. The guys look back on a Week 2 that was fun for underdogs before they preview Week 3, which features a lights-out Monday night game between the AFC favorites Kansas City and Baltimore, two squads coming off tight victories going heads-up as the Cowboys take on the Seahawks, and a Sunday nighter between the Packers and Saints that unfortunately will be lacking two superstar wideouts.

Jay opened the strange 2020 season much better than Dre did, including calling his shot on the upset of Week 1, the Cardinals straight up over the 49ers. The boys discuss the events of last weekend, then move into Overreaction Theatre for Week 2. Who's dead after one game and who's going to the Super Bowl?! Week 2 sees the Falcons and Cowboys trying to rebound off opening Ls, the Ravens and Texans featuring two dynamic QBs in Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson, the Patriots and Seahawks building off excellent opening games, and the Saints on Monday christening the Death Star in Las Vegas taking on the Raiders.

The first week of games in the NFL this year will be the first week of game action for everyone since last season ended. With no preseason games, how many guys will come up lame or miss a blocking assignment allowing their QB or RB to get blasted? Football hurts to play in any situation, but with no warm-up thanks to Coronapalooza, this week may be extra gruesome. The guys try to predict the action in a most unusual Week 1, which features the Packers and Vikings in the NFC North, the debut of Buccaneer Tommy visiting the Saints, and yet another Dallas Cowboys Sunday Night Football appearance, this time christening the new stadium in Los Angeles as they play the Rams.

No one has to be told how much uncertainty goes into this upcoming football season in this the year of Coronapalooza. Jay and Dre begin the eighth campaign of their podcast previewing the most unusual NFL campaign in modern history. With no preseason action, all the teams have to boot up ice cold. Who's equipped to handle these circumstances and go all the way to the title? It may be the champion Chiefs, and the boys weigh in early on Kansas City as they open Thursday night hosting the Texans in a rematch of a most memorable playoff game. Can the Ravens and Lamar Jackson blast through their playoff brick wall? Can the 49ers recover from having a 4th-quarter Super Bowl lead and blowing it? And who will miss the other more, Tom Brady or Bill Belichick?

The Washington Redskins are a famous NFL team with a long and rich history. They have multiple league titles and Super Bowl trophies, many Hall of Fame players and coaches...and now they have no name. Jay and Dre talk about the decision by owner Dan Snyder to strip the team of its controversial mascot, and they ask longtime DC resident and former classmate Tim about the local reax to the situation. Was this change a necessary and inevitable decision, or were the Skins swept up in the 2020 political climate?

It's a 60-game sprint instead of a 162-game marathon thanks to the coronavirus, but baseball will attempt to get its 2020 campaign on. There are many different rule changes, including universal DH for the first time, and every game atmosphere will be a little different as cheering crowds are replaced by sound effects. Jay and Dre try to interpret how this strange year will play out. Will the Nationals find a way to repeat? Will the top teams remain at the top with such a low ceiling for any struggling? Will any underdogs surge to the playoffs off a hot win streak? No matter the prognosis, MLB in the midst of a pandemic is happening. Damn the torpedoes!

The year 2020 continues along in its own unique way, and IMLD continues to adapt. Normally the Hall of Infamy inductions take place when the actual sport holds its Hall of Fame weekend, but there's no need to wait since those weekends are shuttered. Whether it's a global pandemic or another horrifying video of cops ending a life, one thing never ceases: Corporations and their ability to get out the message that they care and you can depend on them. A record 15.6 million folks watched the first round of this year's NFL Draft, a ratings record, and only the most blind sheep are pretending that it's because of the thirst for football and not out of sheer boredom. (Those sheep are out there, tho.) The spectacle of seeing how the event would go down was also a draw, and mostly, it came off well. Jay and Dre examine the happenings of the world's most widely viewed business meeting, which had its moments--the saga of Tua, a snatched cell phone, the Rodgers Replacement Pick, and lots of breathless trade scenarios that ultimately went nowhere.

You may be surprised to learn that with all other real sports cancelling everything due to COVID-19, someone somewhere still thinks it's a good idea to have a special event. You won't be surprised to find out that it's the same company that once continued a show after one of its workers fell to his death right in their ring in front of thousands. The WWE's annual Wrestlemania is still taking place, but in a most unusual format--in an empty gym, pre-taped so that they can edit all the missed spots, and spread over two nights because with no crowd flying in for the one big show, there's no reason to have one bloated six-hour broadcast. Jay and Dre, joined by Jerry the Wrestling Expert, chat about the weirdest Wrestlemania ever and also talk about the exciting past year in wrestling outside McMahonland.

No March Badness. No NBA. No baseball. Probably a delayed summer Olympics. For Pete's sake, they're pre-taping Wrestlemania in an empty gym. Coronavirus has put a shocking halt to life as we know it all over the world, and it's even affected the lives of Jay and Dre. But being who they are, they'll laugh about it and hopefully make their listeners at least chuckle. With the Houston Astros and their sign-stealing scandal at the fore of seemingly every baseball story, cheating is big in the news. Jay and Dre chat about the scheme and the repercussions. Is stealing signs really that big of a deal? Can teams come up with ways to combat it instead of heplpessly complaining about it? Is it dirtier than steroids or spitballs or corked bats? How does it compare to cheating in the other major sports? Do fans really care or isn't it all about winning? What about the players? And if it's that important, why did the sport's top brass seem to ignore it when it was first discussed?

After years of firing up the Oscars toward the end of February or early March, this year the 92nd Academy Awards takes place a week after the Super Bowl. Jay and Dre have even less time to catch up on the nominees, so they will rely even more than normal on the world's biggest big screen fan, Dave the Movie Expert. The Best Picture race seems a little more wide open than normal, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see 1917, Joker, or Parasite stand victorious. The acting and directing categories may not be complete slam dunks, either. Was this a year high in quality and variety, or a year in which nothing was all that great? All the guys will weigh in, but as always, only Dave has actually seen the films!

For the third postseason game in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs found themselves losing by double digits. For the third postseason game in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs stormed back and won by double digits, and this one was for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Ever since Jay's dominant handicapping season of 2013, Dre has found a way to get his hand raised at the end of every year. But it's all on the line this year, as Jay played the long game and set up a winner-take-all scenario where Dre has to pick The Big Game correctly or turn the crown over to Jay. So after two weeks of hype, the question stands: Does Dre stan for Andy Reid's Chiefs or Kyle Shanahan's 49ers? Listen live for Dre's long-winded pick!

Due to Dre blowing the only head-to-head battle with Jay in the Divisional Round (not to mention the other three games also), Jay has moved into such a position as to not have to disagree on either Conference Final game and just make Dre pick the Super Bowl correctly. So there could be no arguing at all on this episode, or Jay could risk going against Dre this coming Sunday and go for the lead knowing that if he loses, it's curtains. The guys recap a semifinal weekend full of upsets and surprises before making their calls to decide who goes to the Big Game. Will it be Derrick Henry and the brutalizing Titans or Pat Mahomes and the zombie Chiefs? Will it be Aaron Rodgers one more time leading the Packers or Jimmy Garoppolo and the new kids, the 49ers?

It was not the best start to playoff handicapping for Jay or Dre. Both watched helplessly as their first three Wild Card picks fell, but at least they won the final game thanks to a QB shot to the head. The boys gather themselves and look ahead to the Divisional Round, where Jay will have to decide if now is the time to challenge the picks leader Dre or if he will punt and wait for the conference title games. This weekend sees a giddy Kirk Cousins lead the Vikings to Santa Clara to face Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers, then on Saturday night Derrick Henry tries to keep steamrolling as the Titans visit MVP Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. On Sunday, DeShaun Watson and J.J. Watt take the Texans to Arrowhead to challenge last year's MVP Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs, then Pete Carroll's methodical Seahawks brave the wind chill to battle Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

Another long but fun NFL year is in the books, and everyone's favorite time begins, #playoffszn. Jay and Dre catch up on a Week 17 that saw Coin regain its handicapping dominance over both of them. Then they look ahead to Wild Card Weekend. On Saturday, a tradition unlike any other continues as the Texans open the playoffs hosting an afternoon contest, this year against the tough Bills. In the evening, the long-awaited collapse of the Patriots dynasty may happen as they host the surging Titans. On Sunday, the full Vikings offense tries to put it together in the Superdome against the red-hot Saints, then the Seahawks try to rebound from their home loss to end the regular season as they go to Philly to take on the hurt but hustling Eagles.

It's Week 17, and here at IMLD, that means the tradition continues: The guys pick every game versus the flip of a coin. And this year, with as many teams benching players as any year in recent memory, the task of handicapping is that much tougher. After reviewing Week 16, Jay, Dre and Coin take their best shot at picking Week 17. The Chiefs join the Ravens as recipients of a 1st-round bye by beating the Chargers, but only if the Patriots manage to lose to the Dolphins. The Titans take the #6 seed if they win in Houston, but if they don't, the Steelers or even the Raiders have a shot. The Eagles take the NFC East by beating the Giants, but if they don't, the Cowboys take it by beating the Redskins. And on Sunday night, the NFC West is up for grabs as the 49ers visit the Seahawks.

Jay and Dre have to shake off a terrible week handicapping the NFL, right after a fantastic week. They get humbled recapping Week 15, then they look ahead to Week 16 which is highlighted by a flexed Saturday slate featuring six teams all at .500 or better. In the middle game, the Bills have a shot at really putting a scare in the Patriots, but New England once again takes the AFC East with a victory. On Sunday, the Cowboys and Eagles battle for control of the NFC East, while the Titans fight for their playoff lives hosting the Saints. On the final Monday game of the decade, the Packers can clinch the NFC North if they can conquer the Vikings in the Twin Cities.

It's late in the season, but the guys are hitting their stride. Jay and Dre look back on a pair of ten-win weeks ATS, and they both also won their Locks. Then they look ahead to Week 15, where the burning question will be: Did the "advance scouting" of taping the Bengals sideline assist the Patriots in stopping their losing streak? Also on the docket: The Bears can say goodbye to their playoff hopes if they can't beat the Packers, first place in the AFC South is on the line as the Texans visit the Titans, and two improbable AFC Wild Card hopefuls clash on Sunday night as the Bills battle the Steelers.

While Dre got back on the winning track vs. Jay in Week 13, the boys still haven't figured out the special sauce behind making a successful Lock of the Week. They discuss an active slate in the NFL this past weekend before looking ahead to an active slate coming up. Week 14 will be about feasting your eyes on three marquee matchups: The Ravens try to stay in the top spot in the AFC as they battle the strong Bills, who are still in the hunt for the AFC East crown; the winner of the 49ers-Saints brawl will position themselves to fight with Seattle for the top spot in the NFC; and Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs look for revenge as they visit their foes in last year's AFC title game, the World champion Patriots.

After an eventful Thanksgiving that saw a Bears comeback win fall short of the number, a Bills throttling of the Cowboys, and a last gasp Dirty Bird fally come up empty against the Saints, Jay and Dre are back to give their insights on the rest of Week 13 ATS. On the docket: Lamar Jackson and the Ravens destroyed one of this year's top two defenses already and they host the other as they play the Niners, the Raiders can put their season back on track if they can knock off the Chiefs in Arrowhead, the Patriots continue their tough November schedule visiting the Texans, and on Monday, the two NFC Wild Card leaders battle for position as the Vikings take on the Seahawks.

The boys tried some out-of-bounds picks for NFL Week 12, but Jay had much more success than Dre. The guys recap the past weekend of football, including more Dre second-guessing his Locks, then they give their picks for the Thanksgiving Triple Gobble. Enigmatic Mitch Trubisky and the Bears or QB roulette with the Lions? Tough and potentially difficult playoff squad in the Bills or tough and potentially desperate squad in the Cowboys? And in the nightcap, kings of the NFC South and avengers of their Week 10 loss in the Saints or completely unpredictable Falcons?

No one got cracked over the head with their own helmet, so Week 11 in the NFL was necessarily less exciting than its Thursday night beginner. And with only three games difference in their picks, Jay and Dre weren't going to create much excitement in their handicapping standings, but Jay did take two. The boys recap last weekend before digging into their picks for Week 12. On the docket: Seattle rolls into a desperate Philadelphia on a win streak, Dallas and New England vie for a win and the title of Most Disliked Fanbase, Green Bay and San Francisco test each other in a battle of division leaders, and on Monday Baltimore tries to stay red hot in the Coliseum against the Los Angeles Rams.

Week 10 in the NFL was eventful, with San Francisco going down as the last unbeaten team, Baltimore sending notice to the whole league, and underdogs (and Dre) going 9-4 ATS. But the events of Thursday night to kick off Week 11 have overshadowed everything else. Jay and Dre give their takes concerning the ugly incident during the Steelers-Browns game where Cleveland DE Myles Garrett ripped the helmet off Pittsburgh QB Mason Rudolph and walloped him with it. A Week 10 recap will still take place. They then jump into picking Week 11, which will feature a matchup of two dynamic QBs as DeShaun Watson leads the Texans to face Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, a Super Bowl rematch of sorts as the Patriots visit the Eagles, and a Mexican-flavored AFC West tilt as the Chiefs take on the Chargers in Estadio Azteca.

The last of the unbeatens get the Monday night spotlight for Week 10 in the NFL as San Francisco hosts Seattle. There would be two unbeaten teams except Baltimore cleaned the clocks of New England in Week 9. Jay and Dre look back on Week 9 action before making their selections ATS for Week 10. On the docket besides Seahawks-49ers: MVP Pat Mahomes returns for the Chiefs as they visit the Titans, Kyle Allen will lead the Panthers the rest of the season and the latest test is stout at Green Bay, and it could be a high-scoring contest on Sunday night between the Vikings and the Cowboys.

While Week 8 saw Dre take five of six picks from Jay, both suffered painful losses with their Locks, Dre by trusting Baker Mayfield and the Brown Fever and Jay by trusting Mitch Trubisky and the toothless Bears. The guys will grouse plenty about those and other picks, then they look into the upcoming NFL Week 9. On the docket: An early London callling as the Texans take on the Jaguars, another prime NFC North opponent visiting the Chiefs without Pat Mahomes, this time the Vikings, the Dolphins' best chance for a win this year hosting the Jets, and the toughest test for the Patriots this year thus far as they spend Sunday night in Baltimore.

It's never a good look for any sports league when referee incompetence stands out as the main headline, but that's exactly what stood out after the NFL's Week 6, particularly Monday night in Green Bay. Jay and Dre discuss the happenings and the impact of Pat Mahomes getting his kneecap rearranged this past Thursday, then make their picks ATS for Week 7, including: A key NFC North battle between the high-flying Vikings and the freshly screwed Lions, a key AFC South matchup between DeShaun Watson's Texans and Jacoby Brissett's Colts, a showcase of athletic QBs as Lamar Jackson's Ravens visit Russell Wilson's Seahawks, and because it's contractually mandated, SNF in Dallas as the Eagles take on the Cowboys.

Jay returns from his vacation and describes his adventures in a hot air balloon. He and Dre are familiar with ups and downs this season, and coming off matching 6-9 records for NFL Week 5, they try to steer in the right direction for the upcoming slate of games. Two of the young lions in the game square off as DeShaun Watson's Texans visit Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs, two potent offenses hook up in an NFC West showdown as the 49ers take on the Rams, and control of the NFC North is at stake on Monday night between two one-loss squads in the Lions and Packers.

Jay and Dre both felt trepidation about their Week 3 picks due to all of the new jacks under center, and they were underwater picking those games. Of the four games both guys handicapped correctly, the only one featuring a QB that wasn't a Week 1 starter was the Gardner Minshew Show on Thursday. The kid QBs fared relatively well, much to the chagrin of certainly many bettors as well as the show hosts. They try to get back on track picking the Week 4 action, and all those replacements make return engagements except Luke Falk and the Jets, who are on bye. The Patriots and Bills battle for control of the AFC East and a perfect record, the Chiefs and Lions engage in a battle of undefeated teams, and Baker Mayfield battles his struggles and maybe his coach as the Browns visit the Ravens.

Week 1 in the NFL saw Jaguars free agent QB Nick Foles get his shoulder shattered, and we all shook our heads and said "Too bad." Then Week 2 saw two all-time QBs get severely hurt, one for the rest of the season, and others get injured, and we said "Damn!" Then a couple more QBs were sacked by their coaches and benched for Week 3, and we said...well, we shoulda seen those benchings coming. And then there was the Antonio Brown Era in New England, which lasted about thirty seconds. The guys go over a bananas Week 2 before picking all the action in Week 3, including two mega-point spreads for Dolphins-Cowboys and Jets-Patriots and a great matchup of two young lions when the Ravens visit the Chiefs.

And you thought Antonio Brown couldn't make things stranger once he became a Patriot. AB made headlines again this week when his former trainer sued him for rape, and with that, New England is as deep into the Antonio Brown Experience as they could hope to be. Jay and Dre recap the NFL news of the week and a sloppy handicapping start to the season. Then they jump into picking the Week 2 games, which includes the Pats trying to integrate their newest teammate versus the easiest possible foe in Miami, the Jags led by something named Gardner Minshew II facing J.J. Watt in Houston, and the Saints and Rams making acquaintances again after last season's NFC title game drama.

Jay held an observation of Week 1 in the NFL looking like Preseason Week 5 thanks to the lack of August game reps many players get. Everyone who watched that pitiful display of offense on Thursday concurs. It was even the hot Twitter joke after the game, but remember, Jay said it first in the season preview show. The boys chat about the Packers opening the NFL's 100th season by smothering the Bears, then they dig into the rest of Week 1. Jack Brisket's first assignment as Colts franchise QB is versus a Chargers unit that went 12-4 last year, MVP Pat Mahomes takes his Chiefs on the road against an always hyped Jaguars defense, the World champion Pats open on Sunday night hosting a hungry Steelers squad, and on Monday night the Texans and Saints threaten to short-circuit the scoreboard, followed by the aftermath of the Antonio Brown soap opera as the Raiders host the Broncos.

Real honest-to-God football starts Thursday and this weekend, so Jay and Dre are inviting you to a football party as they predict who's going all the way. The guys preview each division and give their Super Duper Bowl picks, though Dre already made his upset Lombardi Trophy prediction...in January! Will they take Tommy Football to win another ring, or will they choose a new champ? Join them live and find out!

Canton, OH hosted the football Hall of Fame ceremonies last weekend, but we will once again host the Hall of Infamy, which of course is much more interesting. Jay handles this year's inductions, so tune in for the only honest NFL presentation of the year!

If you're recovered from all the feels of the MLB Hall of Fame induction ceremony, then we're here to bring the other memories back. The baseball Hall of Fame/Hall of Infamy welcomes more new inductees, and while they may not be as distinguished as a unanimous Mariano Rivera, they must be recognized for their place in history as well. Dre is in charge of this year's newbies, so join him and Jay for the ceremony MLB doesn't want you to attend!

The boys catch up on their adventures as well as the latest in the sports world. Dre spent last weekend in the Metroplex, while Jay went to Lambeau for a concert from the legend Paul McCartney. The two hours live allow for a chance to cover many other topics, including but not limited to the NBA Finals, the horror show that is baseball umpiring, some minor league shenanigans, sloppy Papi, and some interesting hashtags.

Dre gave the listeners his Kentucky Derby picks at the end of the last podcast, so he spent the week leading up to the race debating whether he should play his hunch. Hear Dre describe to Jay his Derby Day adventure as he and millions of others watched history.

As the NFL Draft gets more and more hyped, the coverage gets crazier, and at least this year, so do the draft picks. Jay and Dre analyze the 2019 Draft, which saw the Cardinals use the #1 pick on a QB even though they just drafted one last year, the Giants use the #6 pick on a Duke QB with a losing record, and the Raiders, well, be the Raiders.
Aftermath: Dre's Kentucky Derby picks

Jay and Dre catch up on the hectic last couple of weekends. On this pop-up show, Jay talks about the fantasy baseball draft and a couple of trips to Chicago, and Dre's trip produced some Tales From The Megabus. The guys also chat about the wild March Madness, the 7½-hour (!) Wrestlemania, and maybe a rant or two along the way.

John Oliver is highly unlikely to listen, but the boys will preview Wrestlemania 35 anyway along with Jerry the Wrestling Expert. WWE will spend the week before the grandest stage of them all attempting to bask in the glow of having Grrlpower as the main event for the first time evah while defending its archaic labor practices. What does the card itself bring to the table? Will Ronda Rousey's star power translate to Becky Lynch should Lynch win the women's three-way? Does Charlotte Flair and the Smackdown women's title in the mix add much spice? Will dueling underdog stories in the men's title matches cancel each other out, or is there enough sympathy to go around for Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston? Will the no-rules stips allow HHH & Batista and Shane McMahon & The Miz to find a way to make their matches exciting? And in this era of fast-rising competition for talent, would anyone be shocked if Vince brought Gronk in to grab more headlines?

With only so many teams actually competing, it's difficult to have a varied discussion about mutiple possible World Series contenders. We all know there are only a handful of teams that could possibly win it all. But Jay and Dre will once again preview the upcoming baseball season while trying to avoid picking the exact same playoff teams. Will it be a Beantown repeat? Will the Bronx Bombers break through? Will there finally be a crown brought back to Chavez Ravine? Will there be a Cubbie or Astro revival? Or will there be some shocking new blood in the mix? Listen and find out!

That unique style of breaking down sporting events that you've come to know and love from Jay and Dre is back for their March Badness picks. And since last year was the first time a 16-seed knocked off a 1-seed, this tournament could be as unpredictable as any. Will the boys follow convention and put Duke on top, or will someone go off the grid? Tune in live to hear the boys each fill out their one master bracket.

The 91st Academy Awards will be distributed on Sunday, so once again it's time for Jay and Dre to go over the nominees with Dave the Movie Expert, who earned that name because he's actually watched the movies being nominated. Dre watched one of them, Black Panther, and everyone had a chance to watch another one, Roma, because it's on Netflix. It's also the prohibitive favorite. Will one of the other films from a very diverse field sneak in for the Oscar? Will there be any acting upsets among all those top picks? And every year from now on, we must wonder: Will the right winning envelope be read the first time?

The looming Colin Kaepernick collusion lawsuit against the NFL was settled out of court, and initial reports say that the blackballed-for-kneeling former QB received upwards of $80 million in a tacit admission of guilt. The road domination in Wild Card weekend did not carry over, and all four home teams came through in the Divisional Round, though the Saints could not cover versus those scrappy underdog Eagles. Jay and Dre discuss the wide variety of tactics the winners used in the conference semifinals before they pick the two conference finals. Jay has to make up ten points with 13 available in the IMLD handicapping contest, so he'll be forced to go the opposite of Dre in both games. First, for the NFC title, it's the league's 2nd-ranked scoring team, the Los Angeles Rams, visiting the 3rd-ranked New Orleans Saints. Then in crisp conditions, for the AFC title, it's the 4th-ranked New England Patriots travelling to face the top-ranked Kansas City Chiefs.

Who needs a great regular season when you can just cash on every single playoff game?? Jay takes a lap coming off his 4-0 ATS Wild Card weekend, while Dre tries to figure out what went wrong and get back on the right track. The guys recap a first round of the playoffs that saw no home teams cover the number and three divison champs get dispatched. Then they pick the Divisional Round games. On Saturday, Frank Reich's stampeding Colts get a crack at Andy Reid's explosive Chiefs, then Jason Garrett takes the Cowboys to the Coliseum against Sean McVay's rested Rams. On Sunday, Anthony Lynn's road warriors, the Chargers, go back East again to face Bill Belichick's AFC champion Patriots, then Doug Pedersen's never-say-die World champion Eagles get another tough task trying to tame Sean Payton's dynamic Saints.

Wild Card Weekend kicks off tomorrow, and Jay and Dre give their picks for the first four playoff games of 2019. On Saturday, DeShaun Watson's Houston Texans take their rightful place early Saturday afternoon as they host Andrew Luck's Indianapolis Colts, who split the season series with them. Then Super Bowl champ Russell Wilson leads the Seattle Seahawks into Jerryworld to tackle Dak Prescott's Dallas Cowboys, who went down in Seattle in Week 3. On Sunday, Philip Rivers takes the Los Angeles Chargers cross country early in the day for another battle with Lamar Jackson's Baltimore Ravens, who subdued the Bolts in LA a couple of weeks ago. Then Nick Foles and the eternal underdog Philadelphia Eagles begin their title defense in the Windy City against Mitch Trubisky's Chicago Bears.

Jay and Dre are joined by guest picker Coin to give their best efforts at predicting what the heck will happen in Week 17 in the NFL. On the docket: The Colts and Titans vie for a playoff spot on Sunday night, and either would take the AFC South if the Texans somehow stumble against the Jaguars, the Ravens take the AFC North if they hold off the hot Browns, and if they don't the Steelers steal the division with a win over the Bengals, the Vikings are a Wild Card team if they knock off the Bears, but if they don't then Nick Foles and the champion Eagles back into the playoffs with a victory at the Redskins, and the Chiefs wrap up the AFC West and home field by putting down the Raiders, but if by chance they don't then the Chargers take home field if they can win in Denver.

It's a football party! Jay and Dre host two hours of gridiron gabbing as Week 16 fast approaches. They will chat briefly about last week's action and fallout, then make their picks ATS for the penultimate chapter of this football season. On the docket: The Ravens and Chargers battle on Saturday for the right to give a division leader the night sweats, Kansas City (at Seattle) or Pittsburgh (at New Orleans) clinch a division title if one of their rivals falls Saturday night, Houston can wrap the AFC South by winning at a depleted but dangerous Philadelphia, Dallas (vs. Tampa) and New England (vs. Buffalo) with bounceback victories take down their divisions, and if things break right, Minnesota can back into the playoffs with a win in Motown.

You know the season's winding down when the league starts trying to pick up the betting junkies left behind by the end of college football's regular season. Jay and Dre have your picks for Week 15 in the NFL against the spread, including the Saturday action. On the docket: Green Bay would boost their unlikely path to the playoffs by sweeping Chicago (but the Bears with a win wrap up the NFC North), New England can (finally) clinch the AFC East by handling Pittsburgh as they did last year, Indianapolis tries to stay in the playoff hunt by beating a hot Dallas unit that takes the NFC East with a win, and if Carolina wants to stay alive they have to take down a New Orleans squad trying to stay a neck ahead of the Rams for NFC home field.

Jay and Dre talk about a wild Week 14 in the NFL. What was Bill Belichick thinking putting his half-crippled TE in as the last line of defense against Miami? How stupidly talented is Pat Mahomes completing no-look passes? How worried should Houston be getting toasted at home by Andrew Luck and the Colts? How scary can the Cowboys become if Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper are a combo that can't be stopped? How impressive were those big nighttime home wins by the Bears and Seahawks? And how the hell did Pittsburgh lose to Oakland??? There will also be an announcement concerning a format change to the show for next year. Then the boys pick the final Thursday nighter of 2018, and it should be a doozy as two double-digit win teams square off when Philip Rivers and the Bolts face Andy Reid's Chiefs.

Four weeks remain in the NFL regular season, and Jay and Dre make their picks for Week 14. On the docket: The Rams take their spectacular offense to the Windy City to grapple the Bears defense, the Ravens take their talented defense to Kansas City to face the Chiefs' high-powered offense, first place in the NFC East is on the line as the Eagles battle the Cowboys, and the two current NFC Wild Card squads face off as the Vikings visit the Seahawks.

The Rams clinch the NFC West, but that wasn't the least bit buzzworthy after a newsy Week 13. The Mike McCarthy Death Watch comes to an end, the Texans keep rolling, the Panthers keep choking, Lamar Jackson keeps winning, Chase Daniel leads Chicago in a stunning comeback and still loses to the Giants, Jacksonville "wins" a brutal one over Indy, and for the second consecutive week, Pittsburgh gives masters-degree-level lessons in how to blow a game. Then Jay and Dre try to guess who shows up on Thursday night in the one traditional prime-time matchup that the least amount of people want to see, Jacksonville versus Tennessee.

Entering December, people have opinions formed about which teams will make a playoff push and which will fade away. But there's always a surprise or two under the tree, which is what makes it fun. Jay and Dre analyze the upcoming weekend ATS. On the docket: The Patriots (yawn) look to clinch another AFC East title as they host the Vikings, two powerful but enigmatic squads square off on Sunday night as the Chargers visit the Steelers, and the latest team to try and stop the undeniable Texans may have the DGAF attitude to do it--Baker Mayfield and the travelling Browns.

Jay and Dre check in on which teams handled their post-Thanksgiving business and which had too much pumpkin pie. Philadelphia is still in the hunt for the NFC East, Seattle is a prime Wild Card contender after a big road win in Charlotte, Minnesota gets back on track as well after knocking down Green Bay, Baker Mayfield and Cleveland throw shade at poor Cincinnati, and Houston, like native sons the Geto Boys, can't be stopped. Then the guys pick the upcoming Thursday night affair between two Thanksgiving winners on a full week's rest, the red-hot New Orleans Saints and the potent Dallas Cowboys.

Fresh off another gut-busting Thanksgiving, Jay and Dre have to focus and pick better ATS as they preview the remainder of the Week 12 games. On the docket: Playoff contenders and pretenders sort themselves out with Seahawks-Panthers, Packers-Vikings, Steelers-Broncos, and Dolphins-Colts, and on Monday night the Texans try to stay undefeated since starting 0-3 as they host the Titans.

There are no words to describe the explosion of yards and points we saw Monday night at the LA Coliseum, but Jay and Dre host a football talk show, so they will try to find the words. They will also discuss Jay nailing the Kirk Cousins implosion in Chicago and both (sorta) nailing the Jags putting up a fight against the Steelers for three quarters, at least. There are also no words to describe how creepy it was to see Redskins QB Alex Smith's leg snap on the anniversary of Joe Theismann's, and it happened in front of Joe! Then it's time for the annual Triple Gobble Thanksgiving picks: The Bears try to continue rolling as they face the Lions, then Cowboys & Indians get national treatment as Colt McCoy leads Washington into Dallas, then in prime time it's another potential 100-pt. bonanza as the Falcons visit the Saints.

As the country prepares to give thanks next week, the league rolls on with Week 11 action, and Jay and Dre have all the picks against the spread. On the docket: a proving ground battle of 6-3 contenders as Houston goes to Washington, an AFC playoff rematch as Pittsburgh travels to Jacksonville, a huge hurdle for the faltering champions as Philly visits New Orleans, and two big nighttime clashes as Minnesota takes on Chicago for control of the NFC North, followed on Monday by a scoreboard-busting main event of 9-1 squads as Kansas City walks into the Coliseum to face the Los Angeles Rams.

Jay and Dre survive what looked like a very dangerous weekend to pick NFL games vs. the spread. The guys dig into a successful Week 10 which featured a total destruction of Cincy by the Saints, a physical domination of the Pats by the Winnin' Ugly Titans, a Chiefs team so bored with success that they have to commandeer TV cameras after scoring, a backdoor cover for Dre's Lock and a shockingly competent Buffalo QB outing to bust Jay's Lock. Jay and Dre are riding high off 9-4 weeks, and they try to keep it going ATS in their Week 10 picks. The Rams and Saints exemplified football today, and we are all still coming down from the high. The guys are also giddy over Locking in New Orleans to end the LA win streak, but it wasn't easy. Jay and Dre break down another wild weekend in the NFL, which also saw the Chiefs, Panthers and Texans keep rolling, the Steelers get even with the Ravens, and the GOAT knock off A-A-Ron. There's an extra hour to get hyped for (or avoid the network hype for) Sunday NFL action. But that doesn't take effect until that morning, so Jay and Dre make their picks at their normal time. On the docket: The Steelers go to Baltimore to avenge a Sunday night Ravens beatdown, Fitzmagic is back in the air as Tampa goes to Charlotte to battle the red-hot Panthers, the scoreboard will be on fire as the undefeated Rams trek to the Superdome to take on the Saints, and two QB legends meet in Foxboro as Green Bay faces off with New England.

The boys chat about another wild week in the NFL, where the Eagles flew to England and knocked off the reeling Jags, the Rams stayed undefeated holding off the game Pack, the Saints got a little payback in Minneapolis, and the next Browns coach needs to pack a U-Haul the week before the second Steelers loss. Then they choose sides for the Thursday night Battle of the Bay that no one clamored for as Oakland visits Santa Clara to take on San Francisco.

It's Styles Clash Sunday in the NFL as several matchups feature teams diametrically opposed to each other in terms of how they approach the game of football. On the docket: The Saints (#3 offense in YPG) come off bye to visit the dominant Ravens (#1 defense in YPG), the resurgent Patriots (#14 offense and climbing) travel to Chicago to face the Bears (#10 defense), and early Sunday morning at Wembley Stadium, the stout Titans (#8 defense) try to corral the scorching hot Chargers (#7 offense).

Great quarterbacks leading thrilling wins headlined Week 6 in the league, as both primetime games had dramatic comebacks, one by Tom Brady and one by Aaron Rodgers. But before that, it was a Sunday full of activity, with another violent Steelers-Bengals battle, a shocking rise from the dead in Miami, an even more shocking shutout in Nashville, and the Rams staying undefeated, winning in a different manner than usual. An eye-raising Sunday will be discussed by Jay and Dre, a Week 5 that saw the league's best defense get spanked, the defending champions get handled at home, the Titans and all their big-time wins get beat in Buffalo, the Giants after an Odell Beckham interview pulling their punk card play like a different team (and still lose to a 63-yd. FG), and maybe most stunningly, the Cowboys and Zeke Elliott punt on 4th and 1 in OT in Texans territory. Huh?? The predicted sonning of Miami by New England was in effect, the CJ Beathard rise to the occasion for San Fran was unexpected but kept alive the theme of big spreads early in the season being traps, Pat Mahomes and Kansas City can't be stopped, and what the heck got into Mitch Trubisky and Chicago?! The trick for picking Week 3 this year in the NFL might be that some teams that have fallen flat the first two weeks may just be rounding into form after sitting so many players this preseason. Jay and Dre pick all the games and try to figure who's ready to go and who's still asleep at the wheel. On the docket: The always fun rivalry between the Saints and Falcons kicks off in Atlanta, Pat Mahomes comes home as the Chiefs host Messiah and the Niners, the Bolts and Rams square off in the Battle of Los Angeles, and a couple of AFC powers have prime time road tests as the Pats go to Motown and the Steelers face swaggerin' Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bucs.

There was also a possible changing of the guard in Jacksonville, a possible new league superstar reinforcing his strong debut for the Chiefs, and an old journeyman swaggering and soaking it all in down in Tampa. Week 2 in the NFL usually brings forth Overreaction Sunday, when people try to apply Week 1 results as if teams aren't allowed to be hot or off their game for one week. The boys try to resist the temptation of putting too much value into last week as they make their picks. The slate includes an AFC title rematch as the Pats visit the Jags, the Rodgers Knee Watch as the Vikes try to again put a hurt on the Pack, and an old-school new-school shootout as the Chiefs take on the Steelers.

The NFL once again sets its sights on putting its laborers in their place, surprising teams and top-notch individual players highlight MLB through its first two months of the season, and in the NBA, Golden State and Cleveland overcome road Game 7s to clash in the Finals for the fourth consecutive year. And all of this can be legally bet anywhere in America, at least it will be someday soon.

A sense of deja vu will be in the air at this year's Wrestlemania, as WWE attempts once again to force Roman Reigns over Brock Lesnar as a feel-good finish. It worked so well the first time, they had to send Seth Rollins out to cash in Money in the Bank (as predicted by Jay) to save the show, and that's not an option this time. What will unfold in Nawlins? A compelling undercard will see the first match in Ronda Rousey's new career, Braun Strowman challenging for tag titles with a surprise partner, and the return of the American Dragon fresh off medical clearance, Daniel Bryan. Jay, Dre, and Jerry the Wrestling Expert discuss how the big event shapes up after the go-home Monday Night RAW.

It's almost baseball season, earlier than ever this year, so join Jay and Dre for their annual IMLD hardball preview show. The Astros are the buzz coming off their first ever World title, but the Indians, Red Sox, and Yankees will pose formidable challenges in the American League. The Dodgers are primed to take the National League again if they can endure contenders like the Nationals, Cardinals, and former champs the Cubs. Who wears the crown in October? No one really knows, but it's fun to chat about it!

Opinions fly and allegiances form with dizzying frequency these days, but everyone stops in March to fill out a bracket or two or 17. Jay and Dre share their one bracket each as they vie for the title of IMLD March Badness Pool Winner, and they show off their, ahem, knowledge as they break down each region in their normal maniacal manner that will still be better than what TBS could muster.

The 90th Academy Awards will be handed out Sunday, and maybe this time they'll give the right trophy to the actual winners on the first try! Dre chats with Dave the Movie Expert about this year's ceremonies. In an upset, for the second year in a row Dre saw a movie nominated for Best Picture, and he saw it first run in the theater. In another upset, Mary J. Blige somehow got nominated for Best Supporting Actress. Listen to hear if the guys foresee any other upsets.

It was a night of "Wow!"s at the 52nd Big Game. The sleepy lead-up led to lowered expectations and an explosion of offense between the Eagles and Patriots, and after the smoke cleared, the underdogs from Philly were barking loud and holding the trophy. Jay and Dre chat about what turned out to be one of the wildest, most unpredictable Super Bowls of all time, and what one game said (or didn't say) about Nick Foles, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Doug Pederson, and the future of football.

Jay and Dre break down the Big Game between the Patriots and Eagles for the NFL championship. There are hardly any juicy storylines, there's not much sizzle in the matchup, and one host has already expressed such disinterest that he may not even watch. Plus, Dre has clinched the picks title, so even that's not on the line. It's all about the game. The New Evil Empire in New England or the scrappy underdogs in Philadelphia...WHO YA GOT?!?

A brilliant flip-flop by Jay gets him closer to upsetting Dre and pulling off a miraculous comeback in their picks contest. Jay sided with Jacksonville over Pittsburgh at the last minute, and it worked out perfectly. The boys chat about a wild Divisional Round weekend before choosing their Super Bowl teams to emerge from the Conference Finals. Will they pick the brash upstart Jaguars or the veteran favorite Patriots? Will they pick the Minnesota Miracle Vikings or the Nick Foles-led hungry underdog Eagles? And will Dre listen to his own research, which gave him the winners last week, except he ignored it? Tune in and get ready for Championship Sunday!

If your viewpoint of the NFL season in 2017 was that it was a little bizarre due to the lack of really strong top-tier teams, then Wild Card Weekend could only reinforce the bizarreness. All four home teams dropped their contests ATS, with two of them bowing out straight up. Jay and Dre review all of the strange ups and downs of the first playoff weekend, then they get you ready for the conference semifinals. Saturday, the NFC champion Falcons try to overcome the expectation that they will handle the top-seeded Eagles with Nick Foles at QB, then newly confident Mike Mularkey leads his Titans to potential slaughter as they take on the defending champion Patriots. Sunday, the Jaguars try to duplicate the pistol whipping they gave the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 5, then the Saints revisit the site of their Monday night opening week loss as they visit the Vikings.

It's playoff time, and it could be a wide-open race to the big trophy or another coronation for a league power. How do Jay and Dre see it? In their two-hour live show, they'll talk about Week 17 first, which set up the playoffs. It wasn't meant to be for the Ravens, who lost their spot when they couldn't cover a Bengals slot receiver on 4th and 12 from midfield, clearing the way for the Titans and Bills to take the AFC Wild Card spots, but it was a winning effort by the Falcons that pushed them back into the postseason. As for the full breakdown for this weekend's games, the boys give their picks for Saturday afternoon's typically ugly matchup (this year featuring two inconsistent squads in the Titans and Chiefs), which is followed by a potent battle between the NFC champs from Atlanta and the upstart Los Angeles Rams. On Sunday, the team that sucks so bad that their attempt to tank got them a playoff spot, the Buffalo Bills, visit the tough but inexperienced Jaguars, then Round 3 of the NFC South rivalry between Cam Newton's Panthers and Drew Brees' Saints.

Jay and Dre recall their respective Christmases before recalling an active Week 16 in the NFL. The Seahawks sang some Bee Gees while beating the Cowboys to stay alive in the NFC, the Eagles blocked the Vikings from hosting a potential NFC title game, the Chiefs wrapped up a division crown, and the Jags did too (no thanks to Messiah Garoppolo). Then it's on to the coin flip that is the picks for Week 17, and this year, Jay takes over coin-flipping duties.

So many questions float throughout this holiday season, such as: Is Santa Claus real? What is the true meaning of Christmas? What is a catch? Why is the football given to the opponents at the 20 when fumbled through the end zone but returned neatly to the possessing team when fumbled anywhere else? Jay and Dre try to provide answers to some of those questions as they review a wild Week 15 in the NFL, including an excruciating finish in the Patriots-Steelers clash and Jay winning the lock-off from Dre. Then they look forward to Week 16 and make their picks. Ezekiel Elliott makes his return as the Cowboys battle the reeling Seahawks for playoff contention, the Titans try to stay relevant as they host the Rams, who still could vie for a bye, the Falcons still have a shot at the NFC South if they take down the Saints, and the Jaguars improbably clinch the AFC South if they can find a way to knock off Messiah Garoppolo and the 49ers.

There's still money to be made picking the right sides even among non-contenders, so Jay and Dre sift through all the action and make their picks for Week 15 in the NFL. Certainly, high stakes games abound as well, with New England visiting Pittsburgh in what should be the deciding factor in which squad would have home field advantage in a future AFC title tilt. Seattle can step right back into controlling the NFC West if they sweep the Rams. The Chargers and Chiefs get it on for supremacy in the AFC West. And Aaron Rodgers must play quality football immediately upon returning to active duty for Green Bay as they battle Carolina.

Another eventful Sunday in the NFL will be reviewed by Jay and Dre. Carson Wentz blows out his knee but keeps playing initially, showing his toughness, but now all that matters for the Eagles is, how ready is Nick Foles to recreate the Wentz magic? The Steelers win another wild game in which they were losing, this time clinching their division in the process. What can be made of how Pittsburgh is playing right now? Can Kansas City or Green Bay keep the momentum going and finish the season strong? After the live show, the boys pick the final Thursday night contest of 2017, featuring two down-on-their-Luck franchises as Denver travels to Indianapolis.

Jay and Dre look back on a memorable Week 13 in the NFL. Jay said that Ben McAdoo has been trying to get fired with his antics involving the New York Giants QBs, and by gum, he finally did it. Dre searched and searched for a Cleveland Browns cover, and he finally found it. And both said Seattle would man up and give Philadelphia its biggest fight, and they did. The boys also cover suffocating road wins by the Patriots and Vikings, the mess that is the AFC West, and yet another hard-to-watch battle of hard hits and cheap shots as Pittsburgh rallies but can't beat the number in Cincinnati. Then they make their picks for Week 14, featuring the Vikings and Panthers in what should be a very physical contest, the Eagles and Rams in what could be a high-flying matchup, and the Raiders and Chiefs shockingly fighting for the division lead.

Somehow, the Cowboys managed to win a game without Ezekiel Elliott or Sean Lee, surprising the IMLD hosts and sending Cowboy Nation into convulsions. Jay and Dre try to rebound from the events of last night and look ahead to the rest of NFL Week 13. Will Minnesota go for eight wins in a row or will Atlanta continue their offensive revival? Will Carolina or New Orleans jump ahead in the NFC South? Will New England effectively clinch the AFC East or does Buffalo still have some fight? And will Alex Smith revert back to early season form or will a loss to the Jets finally spell the end of his Chiefs run?

As an unusual NFL season starts to approach the final turn, one thing is clear: Jay is figuring out the soup much quicker than Dre. Dre hasn't won a week ATS since Week 6, and Jay cut a couple more games off his lead. The guys weigh in on which is the best "let it ride" wager the rest of the way--all Eagles, Falcons, Patriots, Rams, Vikings...maybe an off-the-board heat seeker such as the Chargers or Panthers? And who's the best thumbs-down "short the stock" pick--the Browns, Giants, Jets, Bears...or maybe a faltering power like the Chiefs or Cowboys? Then they make their picks for the NFC East Thursday night rendition of Cowboys and Indians as Kirk Cousins and Washington face Dak Prescott and Dallas.

Dre played the role of Thanksgiving turkey with three losses in the Triple Gobble, while Jay continued his hot run by winning two. They chat about the events of Thursday before picking over the rest of NFL Week 11 ATS, which sees the Rams for two straight weeks in the most anticipated matchup, this time hosting the Saints, the Chiefs desperately seeking to regain their mojo as they welcome Tyrod Taylor and the Bills, and the Pats, Eagles, and Steelers all hoping to not let the holiday leave them fat and happy as they try not to gag against much lesser competition.

There were good calls and bad from Jay and Dre in Week 11, as is the case every week. But there's a feeling of achievement in both obtaining their first winning week as a duo this season, and maybe that means there's some clarity finally arriving in the NFL. The boys look back on the events of last week, including the victorious Vikings, the somewhat stumbling Saints, the erupting Eagles, and the choking Chiefs. Then it's time for the Triple Gobble--the picks ATS for all three Thanksgiving duels. This year, it's Minnesota trying to keep the momentum in Motown, the Chargers looking to hang another home "L" on the Cowboys, and the baffling Giants in DC against Kirk Cousins and the Redskins.

Jay and Dre may want to celebrate finally winning a Thursday night pick as the Steelers handled the Titans, but they can't feel proud for too long. The schedule looks tough for the rest of Week 11. Making up for only one game in Week 10 featuring two winning teams, this week sees three such matchups, not counting Thursday. The guys dig into the styles clash between the L.A. Rams and Minnesota Vikings, the divisional dogfight between the Philly Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, and the Monday nighter between two most recent NFC titlists, the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.

A tough season of choosing Locks of the Week continued for Jay and Dre, but the tougher week probably belonged to the Bills, Cowboys, Broncos, and G-Men. The boys take a look at who emerged from the soup in Week 10 and who fell back in the stew, and they ask what kind of NFL it is when the 2nd bye in the NFC looks to be a fight between the Saints, Rams, and Vikings. As Jay and Dre ponder how much Jeremy Lane had riding on the hook to motivate his all-out effort in blocking the PAT Thursday night, the guys also look ahead to the rest of the Week 10 docket in the NFL. Only one game features two teams with winning records, and that's the Saints with a defense always potentially awful versus the Bills with an offense always potentially stagnant. The rest of the games have that soupy feel that has plagued the league all year. How will they sort out who's worth picking? Only one way to find out!

In a Week 9 colored by frustration and violence (Mike Evans and A.J. Green need some love and maybe therapy), Jay and Dre look at some achievements, namely the continued dominance of the Philadelphia Eagles, the eyebrow-raising outings for the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys, and the virtuoso performance by Cam Newton. Jay and Dre wonder what it will take for them to stop backing road teams on Thursday night after their third such loss in a row thanks to the Jets taking down the Bills. Then they look at the rest of NFL Week 9. On the ledger: Brock Osweiler gets back in the saddle for the Broncos as they try to fly past the Eagles, Houston starts life without DeShaun Watson as they host the Colts, and Ezekiel Elliott pulls a Groundhog Day and wakes up to another Sunday where he plays for the Cowboys, this time against Kansas City.

On All Hallows Eve, the spooky and inexplicable continues to haunt the NFL in Week 8. Jay and Dre ponder how the Raiders fell victim to the now 6-2 Bills, how the Texans walked into Seattle and put 38 on the Legion of Boom and managed not to win, and why Broncos coach Vance Joseph won't bench the atrocious Trevor Siemian. Then they examine the Week 9 leadoff game Thursday night, an AFC East tilt between two teams thought to be tanking before the season started, Sean McDermott's Buffalo Bills and Todd Bowles' New York Jets.

The first big fright of the Halloween season came Thursday night, when Jay and Dre were witness to a horror show in the form of their Dolphins pick going down in flames 40-0 to the Ravens. What makes Jay's 6-7 week look like a triumphant success? Dre's putrid 3-10 week does. The guys discuss a week and season that sums up the NFL--dizzying and inconsistent. How did Jacksonville dominate Indianapolis without Leonard Fournette, and how did Blake Bortles post a 300-yard passing performance? How did John Fox once again author a victory with his starting QB barely present? How did three different teams in today's NFL with all the rules legislating defense get shut out? How did the boys both louse up their Locks so terribly? And is the best team in football right now Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles? Later, they try to pick a winner as two of the more inconsistent teams do battle when Matt Moore takes the Fish upstream to face Joe Flacco and the Ravens.

It was a wild ride in Oakland Thursday night, and those who hung in there for the finish saw a crazy outcome between the Chiefs and Raiders. It was insane, it was an awesome atmosphere...and a loss for Jay and Dre on the very last play. The boys discuss the leader in the clubhouse for Game of the Year, then they pick NFL Week 7 ATS. The Super Bowl rematch takes place in Foxboro between the Falcons and Patriots, Washington tries to stop what might be a Philly romp to the NFC East crown, Brett Hundley gets his first start as Aaron Rodgers' understudy as Green Bay hosts the Saints, and two soccer stadiums host American football games--the Chargers in Carson, CA against the Broncos, and the Cardinals facing the Rams in London's Twickenham Stadium.

On a week that saw two favorites cover the number out of 13 games, Jay and Dre are tasked with trying to make sense of it all. The obvious question after Week 6 in the NFL is: How screwed are the Packers without Aaron Rodgers? Other developments included the rebirth (?) of Adrian Peterson, the officiating catastrophe costing the Jets, the boys falling for the Steel trap in Kansas City, and Dre's atrocious parlay card. They'll try to start Week 7 right by choosing which AFC West crew they're rolling with--Andy Reid's Chiefs or Jack Del Rio's Raiders.

The boys check out the happenings of Week 3, which saw Odell Beckham return to excellence only to watch the Giants fall to a 61-yd. field goal, the Titans answer a champion's challenge, the Steelers stumble in Chicago, and the Texans show much moxie and weakness in their shootout loss to the Patriots. Jay and Dre laugh about a wild football game that ultimately ended up meaning nothing for their picks, then they discuss NFL's week 3 slate, which sees yet another edition of the London Jaguars as they play the Ravens, an interesting meeting of 2-0 squads between the Falcons and Lions, Seattle trying to get their offense on track as they visit Nashville, and a rematch of the baffling playoff game from January between the Texans and Patriots.

Even a Monday night lock based on classic Overreaction Theatre couldn't stop Dre from steamrolling to a career-best 14-2 Week 2 ATS, including all seven head-to-head over Jay. Dre tries not to let his huge head get in the way of recapping the events of Week 2 with Jay, which saw only six of the 15 weekend games finish within one possession. The Patriots once again answered their doubters, the Bucs and Fins took advantage of their extra long runup to Game 1, and no one at the moment can stop the Raiders. Dre's AFC Super Bowl pick, the Texans, yanked their QB after one half, and both Dre and Jay missed their Locks of the Week. It was a wild and unpredictable Week 1 in the NFL, which is bad for guys who try to predict things. But the boys will discuss if the Cowboys are ready to dominate in the NFC again now that they have their star RB for the whole year, if the Bengals getting blanked at home on Opening Day should accelerate Marvin Lewis's canning, and if the Packers should feel good or bad about winning a game in which they didn't score in the first half. Can the Indians recover from their hellish Fall Classic? Will Mike Trout and Bryce Harper lead their squads into contention while continuing potentially all-time careers? And who's ready to join them and Kris Bryant as elite? Are you ready to join the boys for their baseball preview show? Of course you are!

Wrestlemania takes place on Sunday, April 2 from Orlando, and Jay and Dre have your preview of the big show (and the Big Show) right after the go-home episode of Raw. Jerry the Wrestling Expert once again joins the show and offers his thoughts. WWE, proud of pulling off a main event a couple of years ago of a twice-a-year fortysomething performer (The Rock) defending against a thirtysomething (John Cena), now decides to go with a once-a-year fiftysomething (Bill Goldberg) defending against a thrice-a-year fortysomething (Brock Lesnar). How long can they get away with not building new top-tier talent? The guys ponder the Universal title match, another Shane McMahon appearance against a big-name star (A.J. Styles), a WWE title defense by Bray Wyatt against Randy Orton in what has been a strange buildup, and another chance to make Roman Reigns appear larger than life as he tries to knock off The Undertaker.

Dave the Movie Expert joins Jay and Dre to ponder whether a goofy musical can outlast some excruciating stories for Best Picture, if there has ever been a more stone cold lock than Viola Davis winning Best Supporting Actress, and did Dre actually watch the Best Actress performance and accidentally bring some credibility to the hosts??

It was the greatest sonning in the history of the Big Game. After being outplayed, outhustled, and outexecuted for three quarters, Tom Brady and the Patriots rallied for the biggest comeback victory in Super Bowl history, from down 25 to beating the Falcons 34-28 in overtime. Jay and Dre look back at an incredible game, which reinforced why sports fans love sports no matter for whom one was rooting.

Jay is a Falcons fan and his wife is a huge Packers fan, so Jay's wife drowned her sorrows in lots of Georgia Dome suds during the NFC title game. "Offense" is the word of the day as four of the top eight offenses in the league are still standing and ready to rumble for their conference titles. Jay and Dre examine how the Falcons steamrolled the Seahawks, how the Patriots survived the Texans, how the Packers outlasted the Cowboys, and how the Steelers outkicked the Chiefs. Then Dre tries to put Jay away for the handicapping bragging rights, while Jay has to pick which of Dre's picks will go wrong. For the NFC championship, it's streaking Green Bay against explosive Atlanta in a contest attended by Jay in person, and for the AFC crown, it's versatile Pittsburgh against unflappable New England. The NFL playoffs opened this year with four beatdowns by the home team, a reversal of last year's Wild Card round. Jay and Dre got two of those beatdowns correct, but they review all four games anyway. Then they get into their outlooks for the divisional round. Saturday, Seattle, finding a run game behind New Beast Mode Thomas Rawls, goes to Atlanta, home of the most explosive aerial attack by the numbers in history, then Houston, fresh off of grinding down an undermanned Raiders squad, faces New England, primed for another long playoff stay. Sunday, Green Bay, featuring a smoking hot Aaron Rodgers, battles Dallas, trying to keep winning behind a rookie QB and RB, then Pittsburgh, looking explosive in their own right, travels to Kansas City, ready to roll with rookie playmaker Tyreek Hill.

On the birthday of IMLD co-founder Jay, the boys look back on the happenings of Week 17, which saw Aaron Rodgers and the Packers stay white hot, sending the Lions packing for a playoff road game, and the Redskins falter versus the Giants to wind up on the outside of the postseason. Who's hotter going into the playoffs--Green Bay, New England, Kansas City, or Atlanta? Then they have your full breakdown of Wild Card Weekend. On Saturday, the ugliest playoff game EVAH may take place as Connor Cook leads the Raiders to battle the hated Brock Osweiler and the Texans, then Matthew Stafford takes Detroit to CenturyLink Field against Russell Wilson's Seahawks. On Sunday, Matt Moore leads the Dolphins to Pittsburgh, where the rested Steelers await, then Odell Beckham and the rest of the shirtless Giants wideouts go to the Frozen Tundra in Green Bay. The boys discuss what was to be learned from Dallas taking down Tampa but not covering and extending their ATS losing streak to 4, New England smothering Denver's face with an ether-soaked towel, Oakland surviving a battle with San Diego to clinch a playoff spot, and Tennessee's stunning upset of Kansas City. They'll also answer if either has either suffered the indignity that Brock Osweiler suffered when an entire stadium wildly cheered his being replaced by Tom Savage. Jay and Dre enjoyed parity as well, splitting their ten head-to-head games on Sunday and Monday right down the middle (though Jay clinched the locks crown). The guys discuss good times for New England, Green Bay, and the G-Men, and hard times for Indy, Denver, and poor, poor Cleveland. A sense of normalcy prevailed in Week 13: Dre gained a game over Jay for the season's picks to continue his hot year, while Jay gained a lock over Dre to extend his lead in that department, and normal winter weather made it feel like an extra footbally Sunday. The boys discuss if there was knowledge to gain from Pittsburgh putting the Giants to sleep, Kansas City somehow backdooring Atlanta and pulling off another wild road win, and Tampa taking a W in San Diego. It was Pain Week in the NFL as several important players suffered major injuries just days before being thankful for their lots in life. Jay and Dre discuss the impact of those injuries, the marauding Cowboys, the stumbling Cards, the melting Packers, the Texans outplaying the Raiders in between referee bonings, and Jay shaving some more games off Dre's lead. Then it's time for the Triple Gobble, as the Thanksgiving Day games are picked: Sam Bradford's Vikings go to Motown, then the high-flying Redskins visit Jerryworld, then one of the major injuries impact Thursday Night Football as Big Ben's Steelers take on Scott Tolzien (not Andrew Luck) and the Colts.

Nonetheless, he and Jay look back on Week 9 in the NFL, leaving the boys to ponder how real the Cowboys, Raiders, Giants, and Ravens are, and how fake the Packers, Vikings, Eagles, and Steelers might be. A full day of quality football made for a very fun Sunday before All Hallows' Eve. Jay and Dre ponder the meaning of a pretty good Aaron Rodgers performance without most of his main targets as the Pack cover but come up short in Atlanta, a tight Eagles-Cowboys battle that ends in a cheap cover, another tie (Skins-Bengals) and the noise surrounding ties in general, another Tom Brady-led missile strike by the Pats, and our twin nailing of the predictions that the Seahawks and Cardinals wouldn't have enough in the tank after their previous tie. Jay goes for four weeks in a row with double-digit wins ATS, including an all-timer of 10-3 for Week 6. He and Dre break down Week 7 in the NFL, which sees the NY and LA markets have to watch their teams battle in Europe, the return to the Jets lineup of #ohgodgenosmith, the reprise of the best game from last season (Seahawks-Cardinals), the return of Brock Osweiler to Denver, and the only undefeated squad left returning from bye as Minnesota visits Philadelphia.

Jay got a chunk of games from Dre as he hoped in a week where the boys didn't see eye-to-eye on three-fourths of the picks. They examine the ramifications of another ground game steamrolling by Dallas, a hot comeback by Atlanta that fell short in Seattle, a Heckyll-and-Jyde great and terrible performance by Houston's Brock Osweiler, and in the "some things never change" department, New England keeps rolling and Pittsburgh burns anyone who trusts them. Then the oldest rivalry in the NFL, Bears vs. Packers, takes over Thursday Night Football, and the guys choose sides.

Two weeks of hot picks for Jay and Dre get put to the test with some tight contests. Cincy has to avoid going 2-4 by beating Tom Brady and the Pats in Foxboro. The NFC champion Panthers try to avoid 1-5 going into the funhouse that is the New Orleans Superdome. The rollin' rookie Cowboys get a road test on the (not yet) frozen tundra. Jay and Dre recap an exciting Week 5 in the NFL that saw the Vikings stay undefeated, the Eagles and Broncos not so much, the Cowboys and Bills stay red hot, and that Brady guy returning. All eyes will be in Cleveland as Terrific Tom Brady returns from suspension for the Pats. Jay and Dre have NFL issues to discuss after a bizarre Week 4. How far can the Broncos and Vikings going in today's pass-happy NFL as they try to bludgeon every opponent on defense? Can the Cards and Panthers make the playoffs if their QBs can't stand up? Do we want to live in a world where the Rams are 3-1? And how much of a groin kick was it for Jay to watch his "switched pick" Pats get blanked by the Bills? Continuing his theme from last year, Dre returns to bitch and moan about how much pain, blues and agony one encounters while trying to relax during a weeklong cruise. This one was newsworthy...no, really, an incident at the start of the cruise made international news! They got a taste of Chi-Town and all it has to offer, from snow to deep dish pizza to ice to traffic, all in a couple of days. How did they do in the draft? What did they think of Lou Malnati's pizza? And most importantly, did Jay find a pink Cubs hat for the unofficial 3rd co-host of the show? Predicting a baseball season is not easy, but it can be fun, so Jay and Dre are at it again, giving their playoff picks and World Series teams for the upcoming 2016 season. Jay's Cubs are the betting favorite to win it all, but should they be, or is too much cash being thrown at the sentimental lovable losers? They're in a very competitive division, so the race should be hot all summer long. Dre's White Sox traded for Todd Frazier, which is...something. Will management changes make winners out of beaten favorites in Los Angeles and Washington? Tune in for the IMLD hardball outlook. After the go-home Monday Night Raw to cap off a less-than-stellar build for this year's Wrestlemania, Jay and Dre will be joined once again by Jerry the Wrestling Expert to discuss what could and should happen at WWE's annual spectacle. The main event is a tribute to Vince McMahon: His prize dream babyface Roman Reigns against his legendary son-in-law HHH. Why does it feel so lame? They break down the rest of the April 3 show from Jerryland which sees Vince's son battle the very popular Undertaker, who will be defending the hated McMahon-Helmsley stranglehold on Raw, and Brock Lesnar engage in a street fight with Dean Ambrose, who has been portrayed as someone who can't handle Brock without weapons and low blows. Oh, and The Rock will be there again doing...something.

Jay and Dre are back to break down the NCAA men's basketball tournament in their own unique way: By discussing hoops for the first time all year as they make their picks. And with no dominant team as the prohibitive favorite, this year more than ever seems like a year for goofy, off-the-wall upset picks to come through. Perfect for this show!

On the eve of the 2016 Academy Awards, Jay and Dre are again joined by Dave the Movie Expert as they chat and make their Oscar picks. Is Leo DiCaprio really going to get an Academy Award for getting mauled by a bear? Is Sly Stallone going to get one for playing Grandpa Rocky? Will Eddie Redmayne go back-to-back? And is a Mad Max movie good enough against all odds to win Best Picture? See if you can outguess Dave in the major categories! In the aftershow, Dre pays tribute to his radio mentor.

It was bowling-shoe ugly as Dre predicted, with defense ruling the day, and it featured by far the worst numbers for a Super Bowl winning QB. But the Broncos suffocated the Panthers, making a winner out of Peyton Manning and losers out of Dre and Jay. The boys discuss what went right for Denver, what went wrong for Carolina, why the commercials were so terrible, and anything else pertinent to the Big Game.

After all of the hype and hoopla dies down in Cali, Jay and Dre are here to get into the meat and potatoes of the actual Big Game. Peyton Manning's HGH chicken parm, Cam Newton's racial politics and polarizing personality, Peyton's possible last game, Josh Norman and Carolina's edgy and possibly dirty defense--put all the storylines aside. It comes down to the AFC champion Broncos versus the favored NFC champion Panthers. Though Dre has already clinched the picks title, the boys will break down the 50th annual Super Bowl and cut through the BS In Much Less Detail to decide: Denver or Carolina...WHO YA GOT???

The home teams held serve during the conference semifinals, and both the NFC and AFC have their 1 and 2 seeds squaring off for the right to go to the big game. Jay and Dre examine why the Panthers and Patriots looked dominant although the Pats only won by one possession while the Broncos and Cards scuffled. Then Jay has to choose which game he will intentionally go opposite of Dre, since he's more than five points behind in their scoring system. Bruce Arians' fearless Arizona or Ron Rivera's powerful Carolina? Bill Belichick's relentless New England or Gary Kubiak's resourceful Denver? Listen live to our 90-minute supershow for our picks, and join in the fun!

In between reminiscing about their whirlwind four-day adventure in Las Vegas, Jay and Dre have some football to talk about, and wow, was there some newsworthy football in the Wild Card games. Four road winners, some of the losers outplayed and some performing epic gag jobs to make Ginger Lynn proud, and we'll speak our observations about those before picking the conference semifinal matchups. Saturday, Kansas City, who just can't stop winning, travels to New England, who just want their receivers to get healthy, then that night a reborn Aaron Rodgers takes his Packers into the desert to face Carson Palmer's Arizona Cardinals. Sunday, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks go into much more pleasant weather than last Sunday as they fly to Charlotte to take on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, then the Steelers come off that death match in Cincinnati to face off in the mountains with the Denver Broncos and their new old QB, Peyton Manning. And in between and after the picks, lots of Vegas talk!

The Vikings upset the Packers in Wisconsin to take the NFC North championship, the Jets gagged versus the Bills and allowed the Steelers to sneak into the playoffs, and the Broncos secured home field in the AFC thanks to an unlikely relief pitcher and a more unlikely collapse by the Patriots. Jay and Dre look back on another hectic Week 17 in the NFL, then they have a full breakdown of the four contests for Wild Card Weekend. Saturday, the streaking Chiefs pay a visit to J.J. Watt and the Texans, then Pittsburgh goes to Cincinnati, where they crippled Andy Dalton and got a win in Week 14. Sunday, the Seahawks travel to Minnesota, site of a Seattle beatdown in Week 13, then Green Bay gets one more shot to start playing quality football in the nation's capital against Kirk Cousins and the Redskins. You like that?!? Then join in the fun for our two-hour live megashow!

Our annual Week 17 guest picker is back for what will be a busy end to the NFL regular season. Jay and Dre pick to break their tie as they break down the prime time battle for the NFC North title between the Twin Cities and Titletown, Rex Ryan trying to ruin his old team as the Jets guarantee a playoff berth if they win at Buffalo, the Steelers sneaking in if the Bills win and they take down the Browns, and the Chiefs miraculously trying to steal the AFC West by beating Oakland (but only if the Broncos lose to the Bolts).

Jay and Dre check out the ramifications of Week 16's results, which saw Carolina lose their perfect season, New England stumble as players and coaches, Kansas City and Denver power through to the playoffs as Pittsburgh falters, and Green Bay and Minnesota deliver diametrically opposite messages ahead of their NFC North title game this coming Sunday night. In the aftershow, Dre examines Drake's LL Cool J moment in the spotlight.

As the Redskins and Eagles vie for the NFC Least crown, Jay and Dre look forward to the rest of the action for Week 16. Will the Packers have a Merry Post-Christmas beating the Cardinals and moving towards clinching the NFC North? Or will the Cards deliver a lump of coal and wrap up a 1st-round bye? Will the Panthers stay perfect and wrap up home field throughout the playoffs by beating the Falcons for the 2nd time in three weeks? And a wild one in Denver between backup QBs as the Bengals take the AFC North and a bye with a win, but the Broncos need a victory to move towards a playoff spot.

While the Jets and Cowboys slug it out, we'll be live on the air with the rest of our picks for Week 15 in the NFL. Postseason berths are up for grabs. Arizona takes the NFC West if they beat Philadelphia, Cincinnati can avoid Jay's "Mercy Killing" scenario and clinch a playoff spot with a win at San Francisco, and Green Bay wraps up a playoff spot if they are victorious in the Black Hole. Plus, the Broncos and Steelers will battle in a high-profile matchup, and the Texans and Colts fight for 1st place in the barf AFC South.

Jay and Dre look back on Week 13 in the NFL and discuss how the heck the Patriots let the Eagles storm them in their house, whether the Seahawks are back or the Vikings were simply "outcoached," and why Cam Newton's arrogance is going to get him hurt. Then they pick the Thursday nighter as Minnesota tries to gather themselves and visit Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cards.

Will Big Ben answer the bell or is his head still ringing? Will the Patriots field any receivers we've heard of? Will the Seahawks overcome losing Jimmy Graham as they go to the Twin Cities? Can Peyton Manning's replacement make it 3-0 in San Diego? Can the Panthers remain the last undefeated team after visiting Drew Brees and the Saints? Jay and Dre have the answers (or best guesses) as they make their picks for NFL Week 13.
