From the rule of Persia to Jewish Independence to the Roman empire, Brian lays out a timeline of important events while encouraging us to come to God in prayer with our challenges.
In this message, Crooksy focuses on the repeated Biblical call for Jesus’ followers to ‘MAKE EVERY EFFORT’. We explore where the Bible directs us to focus our effort and what results we can expect to see when we partner our efforts with God’s powerful intervention.
Our Lead Pastor at Paisley, Buchan explored and asked the question "What's your perspective?" With the importance of our perspective, also comes with the importance of being grateful, regardless of what life throws at us.

If so, Brian ends with this challenge: "Talk to God about one way you show that He is most important and one way you struggle to make him most important. Return to putting Him first."
In part 6 of our Bible Overview series, Brian talks about the kingdom of Judah and different periods of revival under each king's reign. There is an opportunity for revival now and to return to God with passion in prayer and worship, repenting of sin, and turning to live Godly lives.
In part 5 of our series Brian encourages us to live the life God has called you to live; saying no to sin and going to God in prayer for help.
In part 4 of our Bible overview series, Brian talks about an era where God's people were all in one kingdom under one king spanning over King Saul, King David and King Solomon. In our second week of advent, Re:Hope Southside’s lead pastor, Crooksy, brings a message of PEACE. We all experience moments of challenge, conflict and stress in our lives and often it feels like our personalities work against us when trying to find peace. Crooksy draws from Isaiah 8, Colossians 1 and Philippians 4 to bring us ways to access the peace of Jesus in a conflict ridden world.
Re:Hope Southside’s lead pastor, Crooksy, starts our advent season with a message abut HOPE. Crooksy draws a parallel from Isaiah 8 where the people seem to be stuck in a loop and how we can often feel stuck in life – left to feel the tension of life. Like the people of Judah in those Biblical events, we can find our hope in Jesus. Crooksy leaves us with a challenge to remember times when God has intervened for good in our lives, bringing an end to cycles of tension and releasing us into joy.
Today Brian shares what Re:Hope Church's 4 priorities are as well as providing updates on each of the church's locations and encourages us to invite someone to a Christmas event this year.

Part of Re:Hope Church’s yearly rhythms is to take a week to practice intentional generosity. In this special message, Re:Hope Southside’s lead pastor, Crooksy, outlines why we have this practice, why we do it at this time of year and goes on to draw helpful principles for generosity from Luke 10 and Luke 18. Crooksy highlights some common some common traps we want to avoid when it comes to generosity and offers a way to unlock generosity in our lives.
In part 6 of our Colossians series, Brian points out 6 false paths we might find ourselves taking. He then encourages us to reflect on where our efforts lay: in attempting to appear to be a better Christian to others or to attempting to actually grow genuinely deeper in my relationship with Jesus.
In part 5 of the Colossians series, Brian encourages us to continue running after Jesus and ends on Colossians 2:13-14: "You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross."

In the final part of Re:Hope Southside’s series A BIBLE OVERVIEW OF CLOUDS, lead pastor Crooksy invites us to focus on how clouds represent GOD’S GLORY. We see the connections that the Bible makes between God’s presence, guidance and judgement with His glory and consider Daniel 7 and Revelation 5 and 19 as moments when all 4 aspects of our clouds series converge.
Laura shares a call to treasure the Bible, starting with delight (however small). As we delight in God's Word as our spiritual food, our clarity, and our protection, our love will grow & with it - our consistency, stability, fruitfulness - leading to more delight!
In part two of our summer mini series Laura shares on treasuring the voice of God, and how it reveals God’s character, our value, and provides a firm foundation to build our life on.
In part 3 of Re:Hope Southside’s series A BIBLE OVERVIEW OF CLOUDS, lead pastor Crooksy invites us to focus on how clouds represent GOD’S JUDGEMENT + JUSTICE. Building from Genesis 6 + 7 and focusing on the events of 1 Kings 18, Crooksy helps us realign our attitude towards God’s judgement as something to be taken seriously and celebrated as the means for God bringing justice to the world.

Crooksy left us with a challenge to spent time reviewing how God has been guiding us via speaking to us through His word.
Laura begins a mini series on what we treasure with a call to treasure the gospel of Jesus. She considers how to treasure the gospel is to let all of it transform all of us, while we cherish how it is glorious specific, all about what God has done for us, and able to bring us into an amazing new reality of 'undeserved privilege' - full access to the God who made us.

In part 6 of this series, Brian encourages us to see if Jesus is speaking to us about something to say yes to it - even if we don't feel like we're ready.
This week Lead Pastor Buchan focused on the Kingdom of God and how that is relevant today. We explored part 5 of our ongoing series of Mark. As we look at the Kingdom of God we explored the difference between the gospel and the kingdom of God, recognising the message that Jesus taught us about the Kingdom of God, is not only relevant in 2024, but needed for every Christian pursuing Jesus.

To celebrate Palm Sunday, we remember that Jesus is King. In this message, our Senior Pastor, Brian, drew our attention to the many conflicting ideas and perceptions of Jesus, who He is and what He did that exists and pointed out that this isn’t a new thing. The resident of Jerusalem were expecting a king who would save them from the Romans and ended up disappointed and angry.Brian invited us to examine our heart and think about who we think Jesus is to find any unfair or untrue perceptions of Him, to come to Him for who He truly is, and to proclaim Him King in our lives.

In this message by Fiona Keatings, we explore the theme of JOY. Fiona is the senior teacher at Scotland Bible School and she guides us through a Bible overview on joy to build a Bible centred definition for this often misunderstood concept. Fiona relating the Bible’s teaching on joy to her personal experiences help us know what to do with this wealth of Biblical data. She leaves us with the challenge to be open and honest with God about our joy levels.
For the second week of advent, we’re focusing on PEACE. This week Chalcedony Williams brings a message that through Jesus we can have peace with God, peace with people and peace in our circumstances. Chalcedony leaves us with a challenge to bring the peace of God to people in our lives by fighting against loneliness.
Re:Hope Southside’s lead pastor, Crooksy, starts our advent season with a message about HOPE. Generally, hope carries the notion of uncertainty, but in the Bible we see how can we find certainty and hope in God even when we’re not sure how our challenges will work out. Crooksy leaves us with the challenge us to choose hope in our responses – even before our circumstances have changed.
In part eight of our series ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, our senior pastor Brian help us process the events in Genesis 17. Brian shares how passionate God is about covenants when reading about His promise to Abraham. When we ask Jesus into our hearts and lives, we have entered into a convenant with Him and therefore we get all of Jesus. Meaning we also get God’s promises to Abraham because Jesus was part of the covenant promise to Abraham.
In part seven of our series ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, our senior pastor Brian help us process the events in Genesis 16. Reminding us of the dark place of pain and disappointment that Sarah is in during this time, Brian encourages us not to judge others – or ourselves – based off our worst moments, and calls us not to take our answer out on those closest to us. In a story full of darkness and humans treating each other evilly, we end with the hope that Hagar finds in Yahweh; hope that she is able to rely on going forward as she trusts the ‘God who sees me.’
In part 6 of ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, senior pastor Brian directs our attention to God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15. He draws our attention to the unconditional nature of this covenant and how difficult it would have been for Abraham to believe – yet he did believe. Brian leaves us with the challenge to consider which truths from God we struggle to believe and to strengthen our resolve to come to God in faith.
ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING part 5. In this message, Senior Pastor Brian draws out attention to the lasting impact of the significant geo-political conflict as described in Genesis 14. We’re focused on God’s help to Abraham in that time in rescuing Lot and the other captured people against all the odds – at least from a human perspective – and Abraham’s thankful response. Brian leaves us with a challenge to reflect on our thankfulness to God’s help in our lives and call us to make adjustments as needed to ensure that our thankfulness levels are appropriate to how much God helps us and that we are thanking God in the ways that He appreciates most.
In part four of ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, Senior Pastor Brian applies Proverbs 3.5-6 to Abraham’s story. At this point in the events, Abraham takes a step into full obedience to God showing grace, humility and maturity. Our encouragement is to lean on God’s wisdom, knowing that we can trust Him with our full obedience.
In this special message on the FEAST OF TABERNACLES, our lead pastor, Crooksy, outlines how the Feast of Tabernacles fits within the story of the Bible: from Eden to Exodus to exile to fulfilment in Jesus. In part 3 of ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, our senior pastor, Brian, addresses the poor decisions Abraham made regarding his marriage during their time in Egypt. With a focus on covenants and the importance God places on them, Brian calls us to full, selfless commitment to our spouses, and gives advice for people seeking marriage and those choosing singleness.
In Part 2 of the series ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING we focus on trusting THE GOD WHO CALLS YOU. Taking examples and some warnings from Abram’s example, we see that when God calls we want to follow Him with fast, full obedience. Through this message our senior pastor, Brian, challenges us to give our full, fast yes to God.
At the start of this new teaching series titled ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, our senior pastor, Brian, gives geographical and historical context to Abram’s calling. In this message Brian challenges us to learn from Terah’s negative example of settling for less, when expressing our trust in God through obedience to the end is the better option.
In the past season, God has been moving in the Southside location of Re:Hope Church to bring life, strength and growth. With the desire to press in for more, Crooksy, the lead pastor of Re:Hope Southside, takes the example from Psalm 100 to call and encourage the people of Re:Hope Southside to just go for it in this Vision Sunday message.
In the final message in our summer miniseries WE’VE GOT TIME, Re:Hope Southside’s lead pastor, Crooksy, takes a closer look at Samson’s character and the events of his life. Crooksy directs us to consider the importance of being dedicated to God and His plans for us.
Part 2 of our summer Miniseries titled We’ve Got Time focussing on Hebrews 11.32. This week Crooksy brings us lessons from the events of Deborah and Barak’s time judging Israel as found in Judges 4-5. In this message we explore themes of victory, obedience and the importance of accountability and consider the question as to why Deborah didn’t make it into the Hebrews 11.32 list of heroes.

How does the Bible make you react? Does it stir your emotions? Do you find the bible hard to put down or hard to pick up?
During a season of fasting and prayer, God began to speak to the elders about where He is taking our church. Brian unpacks some of what they believe God was saying, how they began to test and confirm God's speaking and how we are beginning to take some next steps into God's future for us.
Sometimes its the simplest things that are most wondrous. In this sermon titled "God Speaks: From Beginning to End" senior pastor Brian Ingraham shares how God speaks to us by using Jeremiah as an example of how God teaches us to hear from Him in different ways.
We all face disappointment in our life at one stage or another, and knowing how to navigate it can make sure a difference. In this sermon titled "Disappointed. Not Defeated" families' pastor Crooksy uses Moses' example from Number 27 to help us through disappointing seasons in our lives.
"You'll never understand how certain and sure your salvation is by looking at you and your behaviour and your today. You need to start looking at God, and your connection through the eyes of God you'll see you were chosen before the foundations of the world." In this sermon titled "Chosen. Set Apart. Appointed" senior pastor Brian Ingraham explains from Jeremiah chapter 1, how God calls us and lets us in on His plans for us to work with Him - not alone for Him.

Using Jesus' lesson on prayer from Matthew 6, Crooksy guides us in how to apply a common skill acquisition pathway and how use the Bible to inform our prayers as we seek to go deeper with God.
"There has never been a spiritual awakening that hasn't started with concerted, united and sustained prayer." Edwin Orr. With this sermon titled "Why Pray", Stuart Lee starts our joint sermon series, with Re:Hope Belfast, on prayer. Stuart uses examples from Hezekiah, Paul and reawakenings from across the world to encourage us to draw closer to God in prayer.
