Bright Light Bright Light is the stage name of Rod Thomas, born in the Welsh coal mining valleys, now living in NYC. He was the first unsigned artist to perform on Graham Norton's BBC One TV show with Elton John as his guest vocalist, has toured the world with Elton, Erasure, John Grant and Ellie Goulding and has released three critically acclaimed albums.
He's also an avid Catherine O'Hara enthusiast, Pop Culture geek, and runs the Time Out Recommended 'Romy & Michele's Saturday Afternoon Tea Dance' parties at Alan Cumming's Bar 'Club Cumming' in New York City.

Advent Calendar Day Seventeen : 'Everything I Ever Wanted'
Last year, I re-recorded the opening track to 'Life Is Easy' with The Pink Singers - London's longest standing LGBT choir - to raise money for Elton John AIDS Foundation on World AIDS Day. They're a wonderful group of people, and I'm very grateful to have their voices on this song. Here it is in stripped-down form.
