Today I get a chance to speak to Jamie S. Rich, Editor in Chief for Ignition Press and creator of the Romantic Comedy The Dogsitter. Fun Fact: before the birth of superheroes most comics thrived as romance comics. Jamie tells the story of Gemma who is in her gap year of veterinary school. She is hustling her way not only working at a florist, but utilizing the workspace at the florist siding as a Dogsitter. Gemma is immediately relatable to many students finding the mix between School and actually making money as a hardship in their social lives. Until Neal arrives, currently dating his boss who lives upstairs from the florist and someone who Gemma thought was nothing more than a Harlot. One night out at a costume party changes all this and now Gemma finds herself in a an uninhibited love triangle.Written by Jamie S RichArtwork by Megan LevensColors by Nick Filardi

Today I sit with Marc Glave to discuss Dark Sentinel Issue 2 on Kickstarter for Wise Acre Comics. A couple months back I had a discussion with the Wise Acre Comics family of creators to speak on the inner workings of their collective universes. Dark Sentinel brings a vigilante like no other as an 8 year old Daniel Stowers witnesses the murder of his family at a Black Lives Matter protest and in turn he was adopted and taken in by Percy Howard a militant activist who with his partner Tom Phillips they became Daniel's mentors built through an organization known as S.A.A.M. Dr. Onyx Whitestone has a fixation for money and women, no one can tell if his doctorate is real, or if the donations going to the New Africa Foundation are even causing a dent in social justice. Lesly and Daimon mix Humor with Mystery as well as how misinformation amongst influence through internet culture won't let you see what's real. Today I speak with James Patrick about his latest series with Mad Cave Studios, The Omega Book. We meet Brady Parsons, a Priest who is inherited pages from a Book with secrets of the Universe in it from his recently deceased father. Now everyone wants to get their hands on it. What questions will you have when you hold that much knowledge in your hands. Brady has long despised his father who was a scientist which probably provoked his decision to become a priest in spite of his father. Will he weave through regret beyond an unresolved issue?James details this as an emotionally charge and very personal piece of work. Today we bring Eisner Winning Writer Mark Russell back onto the Pod to talk about his latest project for Ahoy Comics and their first on Kickstarter: The Forgotten Divine. Where we meet Rodney Coleman a former EOD Veteran, unhoused but in Therapy. He tells his Therapist of a recurring dream he has of an alien world that seems too real. While some may have made his vision seem as a delusion, he finds that he is not the only one having these visions. This spirals into the indoctrination of many people with different personalities being haunted by their distrust of the outside world as they feel no one can understand them but themselves. The bond that brought a select few together is overseen with corruption and allegations with such a climactic ending. This is also in collaboration with Matt Kindt's 100% Human Made certification a strike against AI in Comics. Now Live on KickstarterWritten by Mark RussellArtwork by Russ Braun
Today I get a chance to talk to Brian Wickman to discuss Grit Trade Paperback Vol. 1 for Mad Cave Studios as the project is reimagined as it was a 3 issue release on Scout Comics in 2020. With Kevin Castaniero doing artwork we see the tale of Old Man Barrow an aged Monster Hunter paired with a Witch named Ari who's conventional Magic is a little too much for the Aged Hunter's liking as he is set in his ways. We have Goblin Gang's, Talking Birds, and Comedy as this tale can shift on a dime from straight violence to hilarity ensuing. Today we bring back a favorite to the podcast as Damien Becton returns with an homage to Recess, Dexter's Laboratory, and 00's era Cartoons with the All ages Graphic Novel Ruth Avenue Raiders vs. The Robots of Sector 7. This project is personal as Damien's Father grew up on Ruth Avenue in Akron, Ohio and his football team was the Raiders. Every character in the book symbolizes his friends that he grew with on that team. The Raiders as a collective are of the same personality as Damien puts it the 2012 Patriots. Undefeated, great talents, maybe a lil arrogant. In a great deal in need of a humbling as hey meet their match when Dre Droid and the Robots of Sector 7 make there way to the neighborhood for a challenge.Written by Damien BectionArtwork by Marina Otegui Ruiz
Todays Episode I get to talk to Dave Wielgosz as he brings us the revenge tale Showdown for Ignition Press. As a Editor for DC Comics for over 10 years and also has had the chance to intern at both Marvel and DC, jumping into the writers chair was always in the cards. In this book, Trish Sullivan returns to her hometown with a goal in redeeming the man who she says is to blame for her younger brother's death. Harvey Harlowe is just reeling from the death of his father, so grief is playing deep in the minds of them both. What takes place in this setting of a small town where you can't escape your past even for a second is a Mano y Mano psychological battle until a final means to end for one, the other, or maybe them both. Today we have the return of Benjamin Hunting to the podcast as we talk about the Sci-Fi Thriller Dead Air live on Kickstarter built around 90's College Radio culture. A huge aspect in many lives as through different sub-genres the music brought them together. Benjamin creates a story of a group of friends whose trajectory in their adolescence is changed forever by the so called death of their friend Josie. In the same time period a prototype is introduced to the market where once a year through text you can speak to someone who has died. Michelle (the eyes of the story) through Time jumps from 1997 to 20+ years later in 2011 has felt guilt by Josie not being here and her guilt wasted those 2 decades to find that Josie has not perished, but has merely disappeared. Now compelled to bring the group together again, Michelle brings the rest of her friends from college to explain the truth. Question is how can you describe her vanishing when people have moved on with their lives or are we reliving trauma.

Today I am joined by Jordan Clark (Milestone Initiative Recipient) and Creator of Ancestral Recall for Ahoy Comics. I've been wanting to talk about this book for sometime now I've heard many of my peers rave about the story. Melvin Waring is at an age where he is set in his ways. He has a loving wife June who takes a solid interest in his artwork and his business and their dynamic is a force in this book because one day Melvin wakes up to June missing as people go missing in his neighborhood by a mysterious corporation. Trapped in an instinctual bridge from Past to Present and Present to Future we are pulled through time. All while methodically going through a recall in certain situations to become figures in Black History such as Bill Pickett or Andre Lorde, and Philip Marlowe. Today we travel to India to speak with Aditya Bidikar upon the release of his anticipated Tiny Onion produced Mini Series-In Your Skin. The story centers around the culture of celebrity and the obsession that an overzealous fan can create while idolizing their Hero without knowing that their favorite person may be torn themselves. We meet Priyanka who loves Bollywood star Ayesha, but feels at a loss when she suddenly announces her retirement. Sensing a void, Priyanka makes a choice she feels may be the only way to step In her Skin (pun intended). Aditya has lettered some of our favorite books whether they are Department of Truth, Worldtr33, Swamp Thing, and soon joining Darcy Van Poelgeest in the graphic novel The Cutting Garden for Image Comics. He has been holding this particular story deep at vest for 7 years and we talk about the transition from Letterer to Writer and how the craft is best known for pacing, but yet understanding the intensity in the creation of this Body Horror suspense tale.

Todays Guest on the Pod we bring you Aaron Cohen and the all too humorous Schticks & Stones Holiday Special Live on Kickstarter. Aaron's work in this particular book started within Scott Snyder's Best Jackett Workshops where he developed the comic strip styling of Schticks & Stones as a Hilarious Passover special into the anthology The Cloak Room books on Kickstarter. The book highlights the Fineman Family mainly our young protaganist Ben whom within each book designed around 3 Jewish Holidays: Passover, Hannakuh, and Purim and in the spirit of Sunday morning Comic strips. The Stories (Crime and Passover, Eight, and Rich Dad, Purim Dad) line themselves as Mysteries and Ben is the lead Detective. Today's Guest: Matthew Rosenberg spent the course last year finishing up his great Spy Thriller We're Taking everyone down with us to excellent critical acclaim. At the time of the scheduling the interview, it was announced that Matthew will be passed the torch as head writer for the Iconic series Spawn from the one and only Todd McFarlane which we get into later in the Podcast. If Destruction be our Lot for Image Comics brings forth a post human society where the Robots created by humanity now run the world. We meet Abe (a robotic Abraham Lincoln) from a museum programmed to orate the history of one of our greatest presidents. With Humanity gone, the world happier for the rest of automation, but lonely for Abe. We ask: Are Humans truly extinct in this world? Is Abe conflicted with the loss of humans a parody of Humanity since the robot is designed to understand the history of a world that was molded by the former president? Does Abe's journey mimic Abraham Lincoln life his failures as well as his successes to show robots what they are without the Humans. Today I get to talk with one of my heroes once again with the return of Eisner winning Co-Creator of Bitter Root David F. Walker for his retelling of 1973's Blackstein because in David'd own words it was the worst movie he had ever seen and he wanted to bring it to life and make it better. His telling brought the intersectionality of the Classic Horror Monster and 70's Blaxploitation Films. A school driver maliciously and mistakenly murdered by the police is awakened in an experiment by a Medical School Dropout named Blake N. Styne and once brought to life remembers the good hearted man he once was, but amidst escaping back into the real world. He looks to take revenge on the very cops that took his life.

Today we celebrate this episode of the Faqs Project with 2 Milestones this is Episode 200 a great feat for this small but mighty Comic Book Podcast. Our Guests are Lloyd and Natosha Jones of Midnight Comics who are also celebrating 5 years as an Indie Comic Publisher as I've been a fan of their books since 2021's The Unbeloved. Midnight Comics currently has a Kickstarter live that is a 5 year Omnibus of all their works without leaving an ounce of their creativity out. Such titles as The Grey, Sol, The Unbeloved, Dogma, Last Day, Admoni, Raven's Omen and Powers that Be 9 titles/13 books are all included. We get a bit Nostalgic as we go back to Midnight Comics early beginnings and even as current as them tasked with a group of interns who have recently accomplished a Kickstarter campaign themselves. As Lloyd and Natosha would put it, as we continue to climb we have to pull those stating this journey up.A fabulous accomplishment for a Black Indie Comic Book Publisher as they say the best exercise is patience. Contemporaries have come and gone, but Midnight Comics with this Omnibus find a means to showcase their works all while building a fresh slate for the next 5 years.Written and created by Lloyd and Natosha Jones

Today we have Joseph Illidge back on the pod. Mr. Illidge is someone I hold in high regard as one of the many architects that gave us Milestone Comics with characters such as Hardware, Icon, Rocket, The Blood Syndicate, and Static. The New History of the DC Universe was release in late February, but around late January Mr. Illidge put on a 100k unit selling challenge to embolden the many fans of Milestone to come and show support for a book that some may deem the powers that be may be against. Joe, breaks down the miseducation of comic book fans in real time and further discussed the meaning of Final Order Cutoff's that most comic fans barely know about. The objective was to create demand because a company like DC/Warner Bros. sees profit, there becomes a reason to gain from it. Meaning make more books! It was announced recently that a second printing for the book is in pre order now with a cover of Static by Dan Mora. The story itself serves as an allegory throughly struck by the books opening line a quote from Langston Hughes poem "Harlem". What is a dream deferred? Beacon is sent into the past to correct a nexus event that under government force, suppressed Dakota's Heroes so they had no choice but to never use their powers again. Mr. Illidge focuses on fans reluctance to support a book and yet wonder why they haven't seen those heroes for months or years on end. The fans have been misled in not knowing their own power of doing enough to keep their favorite stories alive. As the story shows us, its a story of survival not if you survive, but how you survive.

Todays Guest Monty Nero brings us his Cyberpunk tale Chrome Roses from across the pond in Scotland. A world aptly named the Tract where society was broken in half by a pandemic, no law enforcement, decisions are made by social media polls and ratings, physical touch has abandoned for Husks-an advance way of feeling because of fear from the outside world. A rogue detective named Kramm freelances his way at solving a murder although solving a crime in this world is transactional and monetary. Gig economies and Digital Identity are the way. First, the task alone to create one of your main characters totally using American sign language brings forth the challenge of linguists within your art, because now the emotions have been heightened all within this violent gridiron game. Fred Kennedy cooked up an entire recipe of nostalgia of the 80's, seasoned with satire, blended finely with a dose of Humor, and added a finishing touch of rampaging Cocaine raged Hippos. The book starts as those old DARE videos did in the 1980's where this satire driven take on the War on Drugs reaches the Epicenter as characters like Detective Miguel Senecoza, Clarke Nebraska, and Jans M'jor "Disco" Discau lead the hilarity that ensues as a Hippo Sanctuary is led by Mr. Discau to disguise his enormous cocaine operation. Clarke Nebraska has been keeping Discau under surveillance with the FBI, but Miguel is on a mission to save his brother Tico who is undercover. Zander Cannon has renewed a lot of faith in single issue comics with Sleep an 8 issue limited series through Image Comics. I've managed to review each episode on my Youtube Channel because the entire story has kept me in suspense. We've gone 7 parts into this story without actually seeing what Jonathan Reason becomes when he goes to sleep. Destruction, Murder, Conspiracy, and all out mystery are what makes this a great Horror story. This small town reminiscent to Zander's remote college town in the middle of Iowa paints a portrait of how things can go silent in a small town when you don't fit and everything is kept a secret. Zander reveals that this final issue will have 3 different art styles as opposed to what we've come to know from the series with its Black, White, and Grey scaled construction with prominent singular Red on particular objects through every page. Zander also gives me a glimpse at life after the end of Sleep and what projects are to come.

Today, I sit with Kenny Meyers to talk with him about Sweet Shop the newest hub for Digital Comics Marketplace. Along with Bindings Comic Marketing made easy and Find your Comic Store its one thing to say that you love Comic Books but to say make your entire ecosystem in helping creators makes you really wanna fight for this guy. Kenny in the last year or so has taken on more than 24 publishers honed in on his launch any day now from Image, IDW, Fantagraphics, and Dark Horse to name a few. The Comic Creator feels slighted by the subscription model that many are moving to as click and buy should be what we want in getting the creators paid. Kenny feels with Sweet Shop that this is the focus that not only the consumer but the creator as well can thrive from.

Where do I start as to first thank everyone listening to the Faqs project in 2025. Today's Pod I talk about not only the Comics that moved me for 2025, but also some of the news stories that moved the needle on the industry. Creator owned comics may have not seen as much trickle down dollar wise as their mainstream predecessors, but there were many great stories to choose from whether you frequent Image, Boom, Mad Cave, Oni Press, Dark Horse, or even Kickstarter Indies. There are many standouts that I know I may have missed a few and they are substantial. There was so much to choose from as we look forward to 2026 as you take those meaningful trips to your local comic store and not just treat the comics as a collectable but read and enjoy these stories.
Thank you from the Faqs Project

Until a newly damned soul of a seemingly innocent 12 year old girl named Katie changes his perspective on everything. Nick Edwards take us on a journey into Hell where you find someone of the utmost bounds of evil now questioning his purpose and principles. We ask how Katie change the landscape of hell while a Demon finds compassion for her when he shouldn't. As well as seeing so many adaptations of the great underworld, can the concept of Hell be overwhelming to keep the story managed when you can make it whatever you feel it is.

All Negro Comics is a landmark issue in U.S. Comic History curated in 1947 by Orrin C. Evans a journalist at the Philadelphia Record (now the Philadelphia Inquirer). Evans intent was to provide positive portrayals of Black Life and Heroism, the exact opposite to the negative stereotypes common in comics, TV, and Movies during that time. 8 years after Action Comics #1 and 6 years after Captain America #1, All Negro Comics was the very first comic made entirely by Black Creators marking a step forward in media for that time. Introducing us to characters such as Ace Harlem, Lion Man, Sugarfoot and Snake Oil to Lil Eggie.Today, We speak with Chris Robinson-Writer/Editor of this historical book as he added new elements in this 75th anniversary issue to bridge the gap with not only the remastered works from the original issue, but Essays from Literary Scholars like Quiana Whitted of Rutgers University and Creators like David Brothers and Shawn Pryor making a connection from what the industry was in the 40's to where many Black Creators have found meaning in their own journey with comics today.Tell, Teach, TributeThe Book was first remastered in a Hardcover version 3 years ago through Kickstarter and now finds a new path as Image Comics has come to distribute the comics in a softcover format in October of 2025.All Negro Comics by Orrin C. With Akolyte, we see Lonzo take a character with a singular purpose and a power that the universe wants, but Earth may be threatened by. I am one who considers Rodney Barnes a master storyteller when it comes to Horror. The man behind Killadelphia, Monarch, Batman Full Moon, and Blacula has a resume full of popular titles that makes him a must have when he releases a new comic. Today we speak about a story of the Crownsville Hospital in a suburb of Annapolis, this Psych Hospital from 1911 to 2004 was held under scrutiny for its treatment of African Americans through segregation, over crowding, mistreatment of patients, and Illegal Medical Experimentation. In fact, Mr. Barnes Grandmother he tells us worked there as a Nurse. This story is based on real life horrors the facility still stands today abandoned where security guards suspiciously hear screams from the building. This leads to this tale where Detective Mike Simms and Journalist Paul Blair set forth to investigate this land where the paranormal spirits are not only sympathetic victims but also Forces of Vengeance. Elia Bonetti gives a feel of nostalgia in each page as the setting is the 1970's.This is also the first book where Oni Press is debuting their new logo setting forth a new era in their company.Written by Rodney BarnesArtwork by Elia BonettiVariant cover by Jason Shawn AlexanderCrownsville debuts November 5th

Todays Episode of the Faqs Project is special as we talk to David Brothers as we talk to David Brothers about his amazing collaborative one shot with Nick Dragotta (Absolute Batman) Good Devils Don't Play Fair With Evil where within the book we get 3 amazing stories: Good Devils, Fight like Hell, and Go Back. From a post apocalyptic world affected by climate change, or a self proclaimed Greatest Boxer of the Apocalypse meets his fate but still has fight in him throughout the afterlife, or a bad situation turns worse when you have no one to trust where a young man just wants to get home to his family even as the cops and all of New York is looking for him.
David gives a glimpse at his characterization whether it inspired by Fist of the North Star, Japanese Manga, and Big Pun's Capital Punishment Album. We discuss hip hop skits and what they mean to the sequence of an album and the emotional toll Manga brings vs Westernized Comics. Even the latest Spike Lee Joint Highest 2 Lowest- homage to Akira Kurosawa whom David sees this storyline running parallel to just Spike had a bigger budget lol.

Today I sit with Octavia Etheridge giving us her debut Sci-Fi Thriller The Matriarch-Liberty's Freedom from Wise Acre Comics. Liberty is an Ex-Marine imprisoned for killing the man who murdered her sister, or so she thought. Octavia described the books as having elements of Kill Bill, The Matrix, Handmaids Tale, and Fast and the Furious. The world Liberty lives in separation between men and women, between misogyny, crime, and an imbalance of power there lies no peace. Men have chosen to retrieve power through human trafficking and creating a new breed of men through abduction. Liberty and a special ops team reluctantly meet at the wrong place, but at the right time as her recruitment to the Code- a special government task force may be her only way to stay out of prison and make a change in this world.

This particular series deals with many themes: Mental Isolation and Lonliness, Survival being beyond a human condition and a function for all species, Capitalism beyond your own bounderies, and dreaming your last wishes through the one thing you found comfort in-Your favorite cartoon TV series. I ask Mark and Jok how characters that are somewhat flawed be forced into choices that lead them to peril and within each of these stories how they've been able to treat Identity.

Today I speak with Artist and writer Dennis Valencia about the collaboration between 2 indie comic power houses with himself and Drew Lenhart creating this crossover for Homebrewed Comics- Celestial Knight vs Caspian Porter. At first glance, you'd think that this could be an extreme non-stop action filled book, but if you've read the Caspian Porter or the Celestial Knight series you'd know that their characters are purely based on the Underdog status and second chance glory making of a superhero. Caspian being an intergalactic delivery man that had the worst first day on the job ever. Celestial Knight finding constant motivation throughout his books by living a tough life. They both have non-conventional sidekicks Caspian's Robot: Curbie and Knight's Dog: Norman. All scaled into the creation of an obscure but fantastic book. This is the trilogy in the new Homebrewed Comics relaunch before they begin the homage to Image comics with Homebrewed 0.

For those that watch the Faqs Project Youtube Channel, I've had a chance to cover the first 3 issues of Dark Pyramid for Mad Cave Studios. The Story centers around the disappearance of a Exploring Social Media Influencer named Hooky Hidalgo whom as he was livestreaming lost connection in the Denali mountain ranges of Alaska until his girlfriend Becca arrives only to find this town in the Foothorn territory where he went missing is tight lipped and want nothing to do with outsiders. Today I get to sit down with both Paul Tobin and PJ Holden about that process in creating this act of conspiracy based on some true events in this section of the world. Paul gives us the means on why he chose to center this story into its particular setting in Alaska. PJ illustrates the setting as another character as the landscape he creates become larger than life. The Construction of the creature they created in Eve, they both didn't think she'd stay long enough but they made this being Multidimensional as a tool to the military operation led by General Cho, whom doesn't seem like a villain but more as someone under strict orders to contain this area.
I've had more questions outside of issue 3 than issue 1 where this ride leads from influencer parties to Goats with Human faces. This series is a must read.Written by Paul TobinArtwork by PJ Holden and Sara ColellaLetters by Taylor Esposito

I speak with his good friend and Nubia Author Stephanie Williams as well as Senior Editor for Mad Cave Studios James Emmett. The Story focuses on a queer coven of Wytches who each powerful in their own way discover they are bound by an ancient prophecy. They are synced in cosmic guidance by an entity known to them as MTHR. There is a distinction in the tale that focuses an internal battle between Religion and the power of miracles against Spirituality and the power of the coven. Today I Sit with Zander Cannon on the release of the Horror Mystery tale for Image Comics- Sleep #1. It tells the story of Jonathan, a very mild mannered introvert living in a small town who happens to wake up one day to his cat missing and front door wide open to nothing but dead cattle parts all over his front yard. Jonathan lives alone in a small town and the community is centered around his church where he and his good friend Tabby have just had an old friend reenter their lives named Hipp, who has seemed to make a name for himself since leaving town.
Jonathan can't explain whats happening with him. Zander who writes and illustrates stays very cryptic from each page as the entire comic is in greyscales except one other distinct color- Blood Red. This color is depicted in very subtle ways that leaves the mystery in leading you to conspiracy theories in this as you fail to see the monster causing the destruction, but you know he is there.

Welcome back to the Faqs Project as we talk with Emeka Nkwo about the 1st issue of the latest offering for Wise Acre Comics- Vibrant. The Story centers around Chris Okofor, a child living in a family of superhumans, but it seems Chris is a late bloomer as everyone in his family now has powers especially his sister. They all look up to the Patriarch of the family Nchuk as he stands as the most popular and polarizing superhero in the world, until he wasn't. Corruption and failure fuel their father's motivations after a jarring defeat and an offer he couldn't refuse.Unfortunately, they aren't the only siblings burdened by their Family dynamic. Mark and Rae Polaris live a very privileged life growing up with their butler and barely any lack of a personal family relationship. They've started on their own.

Todays episode is a special one as have David F. Walker Co-Creator of Bitter Root and Author of The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History as he brings his latest project to life on Kickstarter. An Homage to the Great Donald Goines with the Death of Bobby Hart. Donald Goines was a literary movement in a genre aptly known as Street Literature and unfortunately was killed in 1974. A cautionary tale of a writer who was completely unfiltered in his tellings of black life in the early 70's. David brings this to life with the help of Dietrich Smith, Chris Johnson, and Chris Sotomayor. We speak on a time when Blaxploitation grew in popularity in cinema but it wasn't always as reserved and served in Literature as well. David tells in this book in the portrayal as Bobby although widely popular and creating close 6-7 books in one year was also addicted to heroin and how this may have caught up with him. As with Bobby Hart, Donald Goines company who published his books was called the Holloway House and brought not only Goines, but Iceberg Slim, and a consistent open door to black writers.Later in the Pod, we talk about the continuation of his most popular work Bitter Root that after 15 issues or 16 if you count Red Summer Special brings the Gang back together in Chuck Brown and Sanford Greene to produce Bitter Root the Next Movement for Image Comics. Today I finally get to speak about a book from Mad Cave Comics that I've obsessed over for the past 2 months as I sit with Rick Quinn & Dave Chisholm and their Cosmic Musical Supernatural (wait, that's too many adjectives) tale of 2 characters one in each issue: Melody Parker and Ada Latimer. Melody is conflicted by loss living on the streets of Seattle during the WTO Protests with nothing but her Sony Walkman when her reality starts to bend and a world between her world starts to appear. Clueless by what she is seeing, we then get transported to a time of Jazz and early Rock n Roll. We come to find the Melody was at one point a prodigy in music, but the loss of her mother made her lose her way. A mysterious character named Echo seems to know that Melody holds the solution to a secret war within the world.Issue 2 brings us Ada Latimer, a record store owner who similarly is also dealt with the disappearance of her Father. A former Musician, who after his first album vanished when she was a child. She describe her fathers music as eclectic and maybe before its time. Ada inherited his record collection and with every chord played she is taken to a place where she is closer to him. Her Boyfriend Theo, a strange character persona himself makes her life seem normal. Until Echo presents herself to take Ada in the same manner as she did Melody.
A thriller nonetheless, but embolden in those who love music. (watch for the easter eggs)

Miles Morales and his incarnation of Spider-man does exactly that for the next generation of movie goers.
