While the theme was "Disco," I put a modern day spin on that throwing in current mixes of disco songs and tried to keep it fun ! Hope you enjoy this latest set!! Here's the live recording from my set at Purple Party 2022 including original mixes made for this party!! It was a daytime party so I tried to keep it vocal but wanted to put a bit of an edge on it! So glad to be back in the clubs! Here's another live recording this time from RAM party at San Antonio Pride. Thanks to all who came out to "RAM" with us! Included in this set are a few original mixes and given the theme of this event the sound is more on the progressive side! (While there's a diva here and there it's not as "Pop" driven....it's a bit sexier/darker but still packed with the energy I'm know for. Hope to catch you on a dancefloor soon! Here is part of the recording I was able to salvage from my night in Pensacola! This was the "warmup" part of my night but as some of you know there was a "freak" thunderstorm that blew through and drowned my laptop during my set. So you will hear an abrupt "end" when I lost my laptop. I was able to finish my set using USB but my laptop does the recording so I wasn't able to record the last two hours. Hopefully you can forgive the rough ending. Despite the hiccups that ensued I think we all had a great night!! Hope you all had a great weekend wherever you celebrated Memorial Weekend! Truth be told it's been hard for me not playing live for you all and some days it takes a toll, but we can't let things out of our control pull us down for too long. In music I always find solace and inspiration and I think we all have that in common! THANK YOU to those of you who cheer me on and pull me out of my head and get me back to music! So some of you have asked for a retro set. I will definitely put an original set together soon, but until then here is an old CD I made for an event I played in Austin, TX for the Memorial Day event Meltdown in 1999. It was one of the first main events I played! You may hear cracks and pops in the recording as this CD was actually made by recording while mixing with vinyl! So you won't hear any of the common mixer "effects" we use on mixes now a days. :)This mix includes tracks by D.Cox, Cher, K.English & SM Traxx to name a few!! Hope you enjoy!!
