All of our lives bear fruit. The question we must ask is it “good” fruit or “bad” fruit? Don’t you see that the fruit of our lives is a reflection of who we trust in and rely on...is it Good or evil? God or sin? Walking in the Spirit or walking with myself? Join Karmen on this last discuss on Irresistible Faith.
Sacrifice and Worship are not easy, but it is simple. When we offer ourselves as a sacrifice back to God, we can see clearer than ever what His will for our lives will be...then just as spring brings flower blossoms, our faith will begin to blossom.

The last characteristic of the series- Joy v. Anger...success (in the Christian life) is characterized by joy, failure is characterized by anger. Which one will you choose?
Join Karmen as she discusses the 5th characteristic of a growing Christian life. A “success” in the Christian life is having an ability to embrace change. Where a Christian trips up and fails is when change is feared. Fear does not have to be the story, faith can!
Success is characterized by having an attitude of gratitude. Failure is characterized by having a sense of entitlement. Which one describes you? Join Karmen as she discusses that God’s way is gratitude and it’s his desire for our lives-not entitlement.
The third characteristic of “success” in the Christian life is forgiving others v. holding a grudge. Are we quick to forgive or are we quick to hold a grudge? When you have been wronged, mistreated, abused and persecuted, what is your gut “knee-jerk” response? Join Karmen on this episode as she describes a time where she chose forgiveness and she will look at a Biblical figure who chose a lifestyle of forgiveness.
Last week, Karmen began a series on what qualities make a person a “successful Christian v. a failure”. This is not a prosperity Christianity talk. These are real life, day to day practices that will lead to a deeper, fruitful and more intimate relationship with God. Today’s quality: taking responsibility v. blaming others

Waiting on Christmas as a child was so excruciating. Did you ever feel like that? It seemed like the month of December lasted for 365 days… I know my children probably feel that way now. For me, the Christmases seem to fly by now. But can you imagine waiting your entire life for Christmas to arrive? Can you imagine the one thing you had hoped, dreamed and prayed for not being realized until the last days of your life? That seems to me to be the definition of excruciating. How does one stay faithful to that dream, that hope for an entire lifetime? We will discuss two individuals who did not give up hope as they awaited the arrival of their Messiah.
Episode 5: I was so caught up in trying to delight myself in other people who could give me heartache and disappointment that I was neglecting the one relationship that could take my heart to a whole new level.
There are two days left in a year that many would like to see leave-a “good riddance” situation. Some have lost so much this year. We have all seen “life as we knew it” fly out just as quick as the coronavirus flew in. We will all definitely look back on 2020 and not be so quick to forget it-- Much like the men affected by the year of our Lord’s birth. We will see today how a supernatural event changed not just their year, but their eternity.
One Christmas Eve, my sister and I were startled by a noise outside our bedroom window. Our “regular” night of going to sleep was interrupted by an astonishing event. On a much larger and more significant scale, the Shepherds (on the night Jesus was born) were the recipients of a Divine interruption into their regular life. Let’s see how God’s radical arrival changed their eternities.
Today, we will look at how Jesus’ birth is grace for US! We have to decide what to do about God’s Radical Arrival. We will allow it to change our eternities? The reason Jesus is worthy of our love and adoration is because He was GOD! HE and only HE can change our eternities.
In today’s episode, I want us to look at how God’s bending low to earth immediately changed the life and eternity of one closest to him and how that same bending low can change my life and yours for eternity. Let’s see how Joseph reacted to the announcement of God’s radical arrival.
Several years ago as I was preparing Christmas lessons for the students at our church, God gave me this phrase that I feel embodies what grace is for that 1st Christmas, this Christmas and every Christmas in between. It’s an acrostic. Each letter in the word grace matches the words in the phrase. G.R.A.C.E.-God’s Radical Arrival Changed Eternity. Is that not so true?? God’s supernatural coming to earth as Jesus changed my eternity and yours. It also changed the eternity of Mary. We will look at her “yes” to Grace today.

Episode 32: November 3rd will mark the day that the US decides it’s future. I am not exaggerating. In my personal and humble opinion, the future of the US is at stake. Seek God. Research the candidates. Vote. Helpful websites for candidate information: https://ivoterguide.com https://www.myfaithvotes.org prayvotestand.org American Family Association
Episode 31: Spiritually we drift and if we are not careful, aware and watchful, we will be far away from where we started.
Episode 30: Are you tossed by the storms in your life? Do you fight the storms? Do you just want to escape? I challenge you (as well as myself) to not be so quick to pray the next storm away. God has purposes for those storms.

Join Karmen as she looks at this person and how God breaks through the foolishness to bring redemption.

Episode #20 - The Glue of the Armor This last piece of armor is the glue that holds all the pieces together. Without prayer, those other pieces may fall off one by one and without even realizing it, we are again exposed to the enemy’s attacks. Pray without ceasing!
Episode 19: A Sword, not a Butter-knife Don’t go through your spiritual life thinking the bible is nothing more than a butter knife. See it as what it is--a deadly sword that can cut to the core of Satan’s schemes and to the truth of any matter.
Episode 18: Helmet Yes Please! The free gift of salvation that we gladly accepted at the time of belief is the same salvation we need for the protection of our heads. More specifically our minds!
Episode 17: A Shield from the Elements This piece, regardless of the sour elements, shields and protects. The Shield of Faith is the 4th piece of God’s supernatural protection plan. Faith will not work as a shield if I leave it in the proverbial spiritual coat closet. The shield is the outward demonstration of an inward faith.
Episode 16: The Shoes You Need Today we will continue our talk on the Armor of God. We have already put on the Belt of Truth and the Breastplate of Righteousness. Today we will discuss the next piece of armor. I am excited because this is one of my favorite topics...SHOES
Episode 15: “The Go-To Piece”. The 2nd piece of The Armor of God is the breastplate of righteousness. After the belt is securely in place, we clothe ourselves, we sink into this piece of armor. This strong and impenetrable piece is made to protect our vital organs (most importantly the heart).
Episode 14: “The Foundational Accessory”. Description: The first piece of armor is the foundation of the full armor. It’s certainly not just an accessory. Without it, the rest of the armor would fall off. Join Karmen as she discusses the Belt of Truth in today’s episode.
Episode 13: The Armor of God is effective to our spiritual victories. In this episode, Karmen describes four fundamental points about applying this armor to your life.
Episode 12: If we think of our spiritual self as a backpack, today’s verse reassures us that all we need to live a victorious life, we already possess! Praise God that it is sealed inside of us as well! All that we need, all the tools are “in the bag”!
Episode 11: This promise has been most evident in the pro-life line of work I am in. Our team at pregnancy resource center has experienced time and time again the attacks of the enemy on this very important work of caring for mommas and seeing babies saved from the horrors of abortions. Whether that’s internal attacks in our own camp or external attacks, God comes through every time.
Episode 10: As we continue with God’s promises, this is one that I have heard all my life, but He has just recently shone new light and application for me. This promise in my life has been super practical and holds a measure of accountability for me. I pray this verse often.
Episode 9: Have you ever needed God’s comfort? Of course. Have you ever looked at him as you do your mother? Your mother is the nourisher, constant cheerleader, and comforter. God is the ultimate version of all of those things. Rely on him.
I don’t want to return to normal. Normal was not my best. I want to return to God. That’s the only option for me.
Episode 7: Today’s topic is one that is not widely talked about but many have experienced. It’s a message about miscarriage and the promise from God’s word that best helped me during my miscarriage and in the years after as my heart hurt for the child I did not get to hold, love and raise.
Episode 6: God is always there for us even during the hard times. In today’s episode, I look back on a time in my life that from the human standpoint was a dark time but from a spiritual standpoint it was where I grew the most spiritually.
Episode 5: I was so caught up in trying to delight myself in other people who could give me heartache and disappointment that I was neglecting the one relationship that could take my heart to a whole new level.
Episode 4: Bear with me as I share my heart today on my experience with loss. I will share how God was my father during a very difficult season of my life.
Episode 3: This morning you will be challenged to share your testimony as I share mine with you. It’s about to get REAL up in here. This is my salvation story.
Do you find it hard to do good all the time? You are not alone. It is hard to do but it’s possible. Join in today as we are challenged to not give up doing good and the sweet reward that comes with this promise.
