We are in Part 6 in our Series Making the Bible Part of Your Life. Pastor Steve will continue on with the second part of What's Next. He will discuss your mission in life and the critical aspects of your mission.
In Part 5 of our series Steve discusses what's next in the life of a few Bible characters. He will also talk about what is next in your life as the Scripture guides us into how we should live. God has a divine plan for your life and has placed desires in your heart for what He wants you to accomplish in this life. Come hear about your plan and how to get your life going in the direction God designed.
Steve is in Part 4 in our series. This week he will discuss how we need to open our eyes to what is in our hearts. God knows what is inside each and every one of us. We were created by God and for God. We are never truly satisfied with our lives until we connect with the God who made us. Our eyes need to be opened to what our heart knows.
This week Steve is in Part 3 of our series. He will discuss how reading God's word can change you. The Word of God claims to be active and alive. Reading the Word of God changes the way we view things and how we live life every single day.
This weekend we are in Part 2 of our series. We will take a look at why we can trust the Bible. Steve will explore four areas which will explain why the Bible is an authentic writing and why it can be trusted.
We begin the New Year with a new series. Our new series begins with Part 1, where we will look at how to use the Bible as a guide. The Bible remains relevant in our lives and the pages of the Bible will continue to speak to us every day. The toughest challenge for all of us is to make a consistent time to read the Bible. Reading the Bible changes us from the inside out and will bring us a wealth of knowledge about life.
Our Christmas Eve service focuses on the true light of Christmas. Our world revolves around so many things which are supposed to bring us happiness. Those things are only an attempt to substitute stuff for God and our relationship with Him. He is the true light. He is the only happiness (joy) which will ever meet the need of mankind. Come hear about the true light of Christmas; and not only Christmas, every single day of the year!

This week we are in part 6 in our Psalm 23 series. Steve will take a look at how each of us go through valleys in life, but God is always with us.
This week Steve is in Part 5 of the Psalms 23 series. He will discuss how God can lead us through every situation we face. In the Old Testament, Daniel faced a terrible situation where if he didn't do what the King wanted him to do (not be faithful to God) then Daniel would be tossed into the lion's den. Daniel understood who was leading him and also that God would lead him into the right path. God still leads his people today in the same manner.
This weekend the Young Adult/Youth Pastor from Maryland Heights Campus shares with us the importance of restoring our soul. Everyone has ups and downs in our lives. God is the one who can restore us when we are down. God never leaves us or forsakes us, so He knows everything about us and our situation. Come learn about how God can restore you back to health and happiness.
This week we are in part 3 of our Psalms series. This week Steve will talk about overworking and how we all need rest and time off. He will discuss the importance of taking a break according to the Bible. Work is a good thing, but like anything, overdoing it can lead to a lot of issues in life.
This weekend we are in part two in our Series of Psalm 23. Steve will discuss the relationship between the shepherd and the sheep. Our discussion will show you how much the shepherd cares for the sheep and only wants the best for each of them.
Steve begins a new series this week in the book of Psalms. He will explore one of the most popular chapters in the Bible. He will discuss the goodness of God and how there is no one better than Him. God is on your side. He is your champion. He gives us hope!
This weekend Gary Hinrich's looks at three different passages of Scripture in which men of God plead their case for the people of God. We take a look at the essential need for prayer, how to go about prayer in the correct manner and how to justify our prayers according to the promises of God.

This weekend we take a look at how we can read the Bible and end up in error. The Bible has to be taken into context from the standpoint of what were the authors writing about during that particular time in history. The Bible tells us also that there is a way in which man would interpret the Bible, but man's way is not always consistent with the way God meant it. There are also those who would use the Bible to deceive others.
This weekend we will explore the meaning of truth according to the Word of God. Truth must be practiced as well as protected. Jesus also states in John 14:6 that He is the way, the TRUTH and the life. When we dare to know more about Jesus we inherently know more about truth and what truth really means. This week Steve will discuss a very interesting topic which is a sin that ultimately leads to death? Wait, doesn't all sin lead to death? There is one sin which is considered unforgivable and Steve will be discussing this topic along with many other questions people have about the Bible. Should be a great weekend of learning!
We are in Part 6 in our Series in the three books of John. This week Steve will take a look at how the Bible tells us to overcome fear. Fear can come in so many ways, but no matter how fear tries to come into our lives the Bible give us great insight on how we can overcome fear with faith.
This week we are in Part 5 in our series. We are going to discuss how to listen for the voice of God and how to know if what we are hearing is from God. Ultimately, God speaks to each one of us mostly through his Word. However, God also uses other means to communicate with us. We will delve into this subject and help you to know what is from God, and what is not.
What’s God’s recipe for getting into heaven and avoiding hell? The Apostle Paul answers that question in Romans 10, and that’s where Ron takes us this weekend.
God chooses one person over another. Does He love one more, or is one good and the other not? In Romans 9 Paul gives us three case histories from the Old Testament when God chose one and rejected another. Ron’s going to talk about what that means for Israel and for us.

The nation of Israel has powerful enemies. For centuries, they’ve schemed and plotted their utter destruction. But whoever persecuted the Jewish people faced God’s hot displeasure and their own demise. This weekend Ron takes us into the scriptures to talk about antisemitism past and present and the covenant of Israel’s forever king and kingdom.
We are in Part 2 in our Prodigal Series. This week Steve takes a look at the older brother. He addresses the issues the older brother is going through while his younger brother is off running wild. He talks about the relationship the older brother had with his father and how he too had issues which needed to be dealt with and corrected.
This Fourth of July weekend, Wes will lead us on a deep dive into the history of the United States. We’ll take a closer look at the evidence of God’s hand in the founding of our nation and see that as the Father’s grace and mercy has been our hope in the past, so it must continue to be in the future. God made tremendous promises in His covenants with Israel. In this weekend’s study of Romans 9, Ron will lay out the amazing privileges of God’s chosen people.
No matter how much success he’s had seeing hundreds of thousands come to faith in Jesus, the Apostle Paul feels an unrelenting grief for his fellow countrymen. This weekend Ron will take us into Romans 9 to look at God’s plan for the Jews.
This week we begin a new series at Grace East Campus. We will be looking at The Father in week one of our new study. Everyone, at one time or another, struggles with the relationship between mankind and God. We will be highlighting one of the most talked about stories in the Bible concerning the Prodigal Son, but we will highlight the father this weekend.
We are in Part 29 of our study of the Book of Romans. This week we take a look at how Paul affirms those who have been working so diligently for Christ. Let's face it, we live in a negative world. God wants each and every one of us to use positivity and not negativity. This week Paul gives us a great example on how to live life the right way.
In the last section of Romans 8, Paul makes it crystal clear that our relationship with God is forever secure. He develops his final summary of Jesus’ finished work with a series of questions. This weekend Ron will take us to the answers and show us that in our darkest, most difficult times we can experience the ocean of God’s love.

Just as Christ laid down his life for others, we are to work toward pleasing others by encouraging them and lifting them up. We live in a world where it is so easy to tear others down; but Jesus wants us to be different and speak words or encouragement.

Part 27 in our study of the book of Romans gives us an opportunity to discuss grace in a deeper context. We must realize that each one of us is different and as we follow Christ we are all "in-process". Instead of focusing on our differences we need to focus on giving one another grace for the place we are in on our walk in life.
We are living through a cascade of crises, and in our next visit to Romans 8, the Apostle Paul explains why God allows troubles in our lives. Ron will explore the hope we have in Christ, because overriding every circumstance that touches our lives is God’s intense love for us. Through it all, we can experience and trust in His goodness.
This weekend we are in part 26 of our series in Romans. Steve takes a look at how we are to live our every day lives. The Scriptures give us some good advice as to what we should do and shouldn't do. It shows us what to look forward to as we await our Lord and Savior.
In part 4 of our series on the second coming of Christ, we’ll be taking a closer look at Daniel’s prophecies concerning this future time in history. We know it will be a time dominated by trouble and great tribulation. But the Bible also speaks of incredible blessing, Holy Spirit miracles and a great number of the lost being saved.

In a day when many of us just want to survive our day, the week, this problem…God’s got so much more than we’ve yet experienced or even imagined. Living the normal Christian life includes massive amounts of genuine success. This weekend we return to Romans chapter 8 to discover success in God’s eyes.
Part 23 of our study in Romans takes us to discussing how to have grace based relationships. One of the hardest things to accomplish in our lives is to have good relationships with others long term. Steve will discuss how we can have great relationships with others if we follow what the Scripture has to offer us in how to do so.
We are in part 22 this week in our study of the Book of Romans. This week Steve takes a look at how we are to find our place in the Kingdom of God. Each of us are called by God to serve in a specific capacity. We need to know how to find this perfect place to serve, thus fulfilling our role in the body of Christ.
On the third day Jesus rose again! He conquered the grave, bringing with Him the keys to freedom for each one of us. Because of this, no matter our struggles in life we can now walk in newness of joy, confident hope and with the assurance of a beautiful eternity with Him. Fear is healthy emotion which God gave to each one of us. However, like everything else God gives us, the enemy twists that emotion and tries to use it to keep us from fulfilling the plan God has for us. This weekend Steve will discuss how to overcome the fears which do not come from God. Fear, like everything else in this life, must bow down to our Lord Jesus Christ. We will discuss how to keep the emotion of fear a positive in our lives and not allow it to be used as a weapon of the enemy.
Why did Jesus die on the cross? He died because He loves you. And His is a love that gives everything. A love strong enough to endure suffering, pain and death. One that’s big enough to save the world, and yet close enough to speak to each one of us. It is a personal and priceless gift, God giving His own life to redeem yours. This Good Friday, we gather to reflect this incredible truth, to remember and to honor the One who’s sacrifice changed everything. This weekend Steve discusses the life of Paul and how he had to interact with his fellow Jews. Paul was once a very religious man who set out to destroy those in the Christian faith. Paul was raised knowing the law and persecuting those who did not follow the law. When Christ changed Saul's life and gave him a new name, Paul's mission was to help explain the difference between the law and God's grace. Paul's mission was to show everyone God's promises were still true and those promises were fulfilled by a man name Jesus.

In Romans 7 the Apostle Paul compares us with the woman who’s married to a tyrant, an impossible man to please. We’re stuck in a loveless marriage of pure drudgery. Our only means of escape is death. God’s plan for separating His children from sin and making them more like Himself is laid out in Romans chapters 6, 7 and 8. Ron’s going to talk about how the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and the believer work together to achieve God’s supernatural plan.
Life brings all kinds of challenges for each one of us. Hurts and pains are part of living life. Knowing this information is vital in how one deals with adversity. In Romans 6 the Apostle Paul shows us our true identity as God’s children, what it looks like to be in Christ once our spirit is born again, and how we can say no to sin and yes to God.
This week Steve is in Part 15 in our study of the book of Romans. He looks into Chapter 8 where Paul tells us we are either controlled by the human nature or by the spirit of God. Up until the time we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are controlled by human nature. After we accept Christ, He helps us to CHANGE and be controlled by the spirit that now lives in us. The Apostle Paul tells us that we’ve been made right in God’s sight, and now we have peace with Him. We’d been His enemies, deserving His wrath, but Jesus died in our place so we can have peace in Him. Jesus says, “Here on earth you’ll have trouble and sorrow, but take heart, because I have overcome the world.” The Prince of Peace said that, and then He said, “My peace I give you.” This weekend Ron will take us through the first five verses of Romans 5, and talk about how we experience God’s peace when we’re anxious and afraid.
Pastor Trevor Downham comes to us from Norwegian Settler’s Church in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu, South Africa! Through their outreach ministry, the Genesis Care Centre, Trevor and the Genesis Trust staff serve those affected by the devastation of the HIV/AIDS and TB pandemics. Their care center provides nursing, physical, spiritual, psycho-social, and emotional care for patients 24/7 and provides a wide array of programs to the area, including youth centers, training on community gardening and nursing, retreat centers, and a rugby training academy.
Part 10 of our series in the Book of Romans takes us to Romans 6:14. Steve talks about the law and how the law will always win against us. Jesus did not come to do away with the law, but to fulfill the law. He did that by being the only person in history not to sin and fall prey to the law. The victory Jesus won by defeating the law now allows us to be victorious through Him and not on our own merit. Join us this weekend to hear more about this wonderful news.
God called the Old Testament man Abraham “My friend.” The Apostle Paul tells us why in Romans chapter 4, and it revolves around trusting Him when everything is wrong and all hope is lost. This will be a great weekend for inviting your one-ask-away friend to join you.
This weekend at Grace East Campus, Pastor Gary Hinrichs looks at the importance of repentance and how repentance should lead us to relationship. We all can agree we are sinful and need to repent of our mistakes (sins). However, what happens next is of utmost importance. Relationship with Christ is the next step. When we truly come into relationship with Christ and continue coming to Him, we live the life God intended for us to live the rest of our days.
The Book of Romans is Paul’s powerful message of the gospel of grace. This week we’ll turn to chapter 4 and see that there’s perfect harmony between the Old and New Testament messages. From Genesis to Revelation there’s one narrative, and it’s all God’s redemption story.
Part 9 of our series in the Book of Romans takes us to the first part of Chapter 6. Steve discusses how we are to become overcomers of our sinful nature since we have been made new by our commitment to Jesus Christ. We know that God's grace covers a multitude of sins, but we certainly do not want to take advantage of that grace by not examining ourselves and changing our lifestyle to become more like Jesus.
Fasting is a clear expression of humbling ourselves before God, and the scriptures make it clear that when we do this, He responds with an increase of His presence! Desperate times require desperate measures! It’s time for a wholesale giving of ourselves to the Lord for the sake of our families, health, and our nation. This weekend, join Wes Martin as he talks about how fasting is feasting on God’s presence.
Part 8 of our series on the Book of Romans takes us to Romans 5:12-21. Steve discusses how God changes us and then slowly begins the transformation of our lives to become more like Jesus. We discuss death, both physical and spiritual, and how we can overcome the fear of death's sting. We hope you will join us live or online this weekend.
The greatest dilemma God ever had to solve was how He could be just in justifying sinful, undeserving people. God is absolute perfection, the standard for all that is right, so how could He possibly make us right enough to approach the fiery glory of His righteous throne without being incinerated? This weekend Ron takes us from Romans 3 into the Old Testament to show us how God worked out the miracle of our salvation.
In Part 7 of our Series in the Book of Romans, Steve take a look at how to suffer well. Suffering well does not seem like something anyone looks to attain, however; many of the early Christians suffered for the cause of Christ and did so by making the most of their suffering. Paul was in prison often, but did not let being there discourage him. He used whatever situation God placed him in to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We too can "suffer well" in any circumstance, as we know God is with us every step of the way.
Grace Church is teaming up with Bott Radio to welcome historian and best-selling author David Barton. In the first three chapters of Romans, Paul lays out his case like God’s prosecuting attorney…every one of us is broken and guilty before Him. Now this weekend, we come to the heart of the gospel and God’s solution to save His most loved creation. It’s a life-changing message.
Like a prosecuting attorney before the courtroom of heaven, Paul presents his closing argument in Romans 3. Using Old Testament scriptures, he proves the whole world is guilty before God. The moral, the immoral, the religious, we’ve all violated God’s standards, rejected His right to rule our lives, and continued to sin even after coming to a knowledge of the truth. Even worse, we don’t even want God, none of us, so how can anybody be saved? Short answer: God wants us and does the impossible to save us.
In Part 5 of our series of the Book of Romans, Steve takes a look at how to be accepted by God. A lot of times we think we can work our way into heaven by doing things, never missing a church event or giving large amounts of money to the church. Although none of these things are horrible, we are accepted by God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and our acceptance of that gift. This week Steve takes a look at the life of Joseph and his brothers. As we read the story of Joseph, we all would agree the events which happened to Joseph were not fair. God tells us in the Bible that His ways are not like our ways. God uses the events of Joseph's life to save nations. Think about all the events in your own life which you might consider to be unfair. Do you think God might be using those events for a greater purpose? God uses adverse situations to show all of us how we can overcome and be used to bring glory to His name. So today, don't look at your problem as a problem, but come back to God knowing He has a plan and a purpose for what you are going through.
Steve takes a look at the law of Passion in Part 13 of our series Game Changers. In easy terms, passion can be thought of us loving something or someone in a way which makes it/them a priority. As the Bible states in Revelation 2:1-7, we must always be weary of losing our "first love" to God and we must continually find a way to renew our love toward Him. This week Steve looks at some ways which can take away our passion for God, but ends the teaching by showing us how to regain our passion through a heart transplant.
In the very first sermon in the history of the church, the Apostle Peter’s words pierced the hearts of the people, and they said, “What do we do?” His reply is the essence of what we’re to do with the gospel today, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Be saved from this corrupt generation” (Acts 2:37,38,40). Ron will explain baptism and why God includes it in the be-saved package. This week Steve takes a look at reconciliation. We all have a need to be reconciled to our creator God Almighty. God provides us with an avenue to seek reconciliation through his son Jesus Christ. Once we have been reconciled to God we can then work on being reconciled with other people. Since we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we all need to be reconciled to one another as well. We continue to allow God to transform us so we can be ambassadors for Christ.
Ron adds another layer to what it means to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength…how we can love Him by being faithful witnesses to Christ’s message.
This week Steve again examines the life of Moses. Moses was very overworked and stressed because of all the people needing him for everything. I bet you can relate in this day and age we live in! Moses father-in-law suggests that Moses should empower the people and let others begin to do the work Moses has been doing. Moses humbles himself and asks for help (this is a great lesson for all of us to learn and implement) from the people by appointing judges. The lessons learned this week will definitely help us in our lives today.
Gary Hinrich discusses the importance of the new creation. We all are born into a sinful nature, but God's plan is not for us to stay living in that sinful nature. God has a plan, through his son Jesus Christ, to make us whole and new again. Gary goes into deep conversation about how one can be transformed and begin their journey with God. He looks at some promises God has for believers and shows us how we can be overcomers and not live a life of fear.

For I have overcome the world.” The truth is God changes hearts and the destinies of nations through the prayers of broken people, so we will not lose heart, give up, and go silent. This year. This month. Together. We will pray our way into this New Year.
We’re reminded every year of the Christmas story of baby Jesus when God incredibly came to the earth. He preached the good news of the kingdom and made a way for sinners to be forgiven. These are all foundational truths to Christianity. The return of Jesus is also a foundational truth. As His Church we must know of His return, like we know the Christmas story, and look for it with great expectation and faith. This message we will consider the Scriptures and seek to answer the question…when will Jesus return?
Seven hundred years before the birth in Bethlehem, a prophet declared it would be. Here are those immortal words in Isaiah 9:6: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” This weekend Ron will talk about the great mystery of the incarnation and the infinite depth of God’s love for His most prized creation…people like you and me. America is uniquely defined, not by ethnicity or religion, but by a radical and unprecedented idea: liberty for all. The United States is the only country in history that purposely set out to create a government that was by, for, and of the people. It laid the foundation of a free society that could prosper in its freedom, and where the government governed by the consent of the people. When Benjamin Franklin was leaving the Constitutional Convention on its last day, a woman stopped him and asked, “Well, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy.” To which Franklin replied, “A republic, madam – if you can keep it.” This weekend, Ron looks at the clear and present danger to the future of our republic and ways we might still be able to keep it. “The game is afoot.” When Sherlock Holmes said that, his fans knew the master detective was chasing down a lead, and he was going to solve the mystery. Well, the game is afoot once more this weekend. Ron will be taking us another step in the direction of the strange happenings of our strange 2020 world. We’ve been praying Paul’s Ephesian 1 prayer for one another that God will give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus. As a direct result, God is shining a light on the dark, little deceptive thread the enemy is trying to weave among us. Come into the light with us...on-campus or online...believing the truth is going to set us free.
Rome wanted to know if this rabbi actually thought He was King of the Jews, because it was obvious to all the world that there was only one king, and his name was Caesar. Jesus didn’t hesitate with His reply. “Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.” And Pontius Pilate said, “What is truth?” He looked Truth in the face, flipped off a cynical reply, and sent Truth to die on a Roman cross. Today, the world is saying, “Truth is what I say it is,” and with the world coming unglued, the church cannot be silent. This weekend, Ron will talk to us from the Scriptures about why we need to know that not all sin is equal.
Jesus warns us that as the end of this age comes to a close, the distress of nations will intensify, and people will respond differently...some will faint with fear, while others will be filled with faith as they look to Him. Ron will talk about how we can become one with Jesus and one another, as we grow our faith to think and act like citizens of God’s kingdom.
Change is crashing in on us at warp speed. People are calling evil good and good evil. Everybody’s mad and saying things that are alienating friends and dividing families. God’s grace is the gateway to His family and the only pathway for the Christian life. The problem is our drive to be right and good on our own, when we’re profoundly messed up and broken. It’s so bad Jesus died to save us, and its pull is so strong that only He can keep us and make something beautiful of our lives. The series continues with how we learn to sync our hearts with Christ’s heart to rest in His grace.
Ephesians 2:4,5 says: “God is so rich in mercy that even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, He united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by His wonderful grace!” There’s no other place in the Bible that God’s described as rich in anything. We’re never told the Creator of the universe is rich in galaxies or gold. God wants us to know He’s rich in mercy toward us.
The more we see the heart of Christ for all of us sinners and sufferers the better we can know and love Him. This week Ron explores the meaning of John 6:37, “...whoever comes to Me I will never cast out,” and Hebrews 7:25, “(Jesus) is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
